Exquisite customer service! The staff are warm, hard to find at the time I decided to shop (9:30p) particularly the cashier and customer attendant. There were floor associates that I heard check-in with other customers but I didn’t have that experience. The two i mentioned earlier made the difference for sure. This location is very bright, most locations are fairly dim. This brand always amazes me by the sections they create, like the frozen bread section. This location has two entrances and what seems like the main entrance closes at 9p. I’d return just for for the amazing cashier and customer attendant that helped me to my car.

If you like high end grocery stores this is your go-to place. Brand new and sparkling. Nice parking ramp. Security on duty at night. If Lunds doesn't have it, you don't need it. Free knife sharpening in the meat department too!

Place is much nicer than the old lunds in this location. Plenty of space and items are mostly readyily available with good produce section Prices are always the main thing with lunds and Byerlys but surprisingly it is cheaper than cub right now, and a bit more expensive than target. Entrance is pretty awkward with the giant caribou kinda in the way to get out Lots of lunch options here, but no big bowl sad.

Amazing 2170 Ford Parkway, MN new Lunds & Byerlys that opened today. It is the first retailer to open in Highland Bridge Properties. It is located within the “Collections” building. St Paul s Major Melvin Carter spoke, A band was playing to highlight the grand opening, Pat Ryan, of Ryan Construction was there, and Highland Bridge district staff, among many others to celebrate the occasion. Store manager, Doug Loe, led the opening ceremony and talked of staring with Lunds & Byerlys just up the street with 40 years of community presence and leadership. The store has 20 percent more retail space. It has quite an amazing cheese, fresh produce, deli, meat with their famous Reserved Age Beef - which I always buy, Sushi, full bakery and more. They have 724 Wisconsin Select 15-Year Aged cheese. Samples were offered and I bought 3 bricks! It has amazing flavor. I found several beverages, Gluten-Free crackers, and ready-to go food items that are hard to find. The store is well laid out and aisles are clearly marked. The indoor and outdoor café seating areas are impressive and welcome and a "beyond grocery shopping" experience. The Mezz taproom on the 2nd floor is a new feature only at the Lunds & Byerlys Highland Bridge. It was so packed that I couldn't get in. Guests were enjoying the 30 self-serve taps featuring local craft beer and wine. Everyone has a lot of pride and joy encompassing being in the Ford Parkway district. The store is leading in energy efficiency and carbon reduction technology. That is really worth support.

Went to the brand new Lunds & Byerlys tonight to check it out!! They have everything!! I love how they have fresh flowers,the homemade breads,Salad bar,Taco bar! The desserts are Amazing, how can you choose just one???Also the delicious choice of homemade soups( my favorite is the wild rice with ham) I noticed each aisle is named after a St Paul Street....Cretin,Snelling,St Clair.etc...very unique!! Love the store, Love the location!! The prices are a little bit high which is to be expected when you go into Lunds & Byerlys !! Great Experience in this Store!! I will be back!!!

My mom and I went there a couple days after they had their grand opening. I was very impressed. The prices were higher than where I usually go but they had a lot of variety of brands. The parking was plentiful with an enclosed parking area. My mom has a handicapped permit so we were able to park right next to the door. They have plenty of handicapped parking. I know if she goes alone to get her groceries I I won't have to worry.

New Highland Bridge store! Beautiful and spacious. Many advertised items are always out of stock, just like the previous location. Parking is going to be a challenge as there are only so many spaces available. New employees really don't know much, but you have to give them a thumbs up for the effort! Great customer service!

The store is lovely! The prices have increased outrageously. A bakery item I usually purchase is $2.00 more, several other items on my list have increased substantially. As a retired person I cannot afford to do my shopping at your beautiful new store.

Parking- well, its not marked from the street if there is any parking at all. My suggestion - add a street sign that clearly directs one to available off street parking. Inside -good luck trying to find anything specific. The lay out of the store is strange. I wandered the store for quite awhile and really wasn't able to find very many things on my shopping list. I knew they were there but. . .I left after spending some time there without buying anything.

Had a great experience there got some coffee at caribou n some delicious sushi yumm was really good i enjoyed walking around the store, n seeing all the grocery items. I loved that caribou had a nice easy access seating area, for people to sit at n enjoy their coffee, I’d definitely go back there again

What a nice grocery store, in it's new location. Plenty of options, there's plenty of staff. The park is just a five minute walk away, so I bought a hot lunch on a gorgeous warm October day and enjoyed the sun and breeze.

Would have rated it 5 stars, but this store is too large. In spite of its volume, they no longer carry some favorite items that I used to find at the old location. I still haven't figured out the logic behind their layout /floorplan, and find myself wandering and backtracking in order to find the stuff on my list!

It's massive. They've got a coffee shop, a mini restaurant, deli, bakery, and whatever else you'd need. I typically only go to Lunds for specialty items but they've got everything you'd need here and more. I was able to get these chocolate chunk walnut biscotti things that'll make me look pretty fancy at a staff potluck this week, so that's 5 stars from me!

The new Lunds & Byerlys it’s really pretty and have a nice bar, plus it’s a good location. I am giving 3 stars because something was smelling really bad there and I could not identify what smell was that with it was gas or some kind of rotten food the smell was really strong.

My concern is the parking spots. I’m a senior and drive a van so size is important. My son who drives a Prius had trouble parking. Please consider this & create a few larger spots even it’s on the top floor. Thanks for this consideration.

The best supermarket ever! I traveled so many places I never had the same experience. I miss it the most. Sushi there is like 10 bucks and it is the best sushi I’ve ever had! I tried a lot of different kind of sushi from 4 countries. Lunds sushi still the best. I want to live in Minnesota just to shop from there. A bit expensive but worth every penny.

Been going here with my family since I was a baby. It is more expensive than Cub, the former Rainbow, and definitely Aldi. However, the produce selection is awesome and I'm a fruit addict. Also they bag your groceries. I love seeing teenagers bagging groceries. Plus the fact that they give jobs to the elderly and the disabled in our community is wonderful - I don't mind paying extra for that. They have a fair selection of matzo and kosher grape juice, as well as some challah which is enough to suit our needs. I am sad to hear that they are moving the store down the road - it won't be the same. Change is hard.

New location as of 2022-09-29 and updated review. Lunds and Byerlys did a fine job on the new store. It's larger than the old location with what feels like a larger selection, not just more of the same products on the shelf, of which there is some. The staff were all nice and offered to help when I was meandering the aisles getting a sense of the layout. One recommendation if L&B is reading this is that it's annoying to transition from carpet to tile and back to carpet as you move between grocery aisles on the back side of the store, other than that, nicely done.

Excellent service, quality and this is a great local location. They will bag and carry your groceries to your car. Prices are higher than grocery stories like Cub foods but lower than Whole Foods. Overall quality of their food is worth. Lunds has a nice olive bar, amazing cheese selection (with an incredibly knowledgeable staff), bakery and dessert selection. The new Lunds store is a big improvement on the old location.

It's a grocery store for sure. The fruits and vegetables are in good order. The hot bar and deli are good and offer plenty of variety. The staff seem happy, and ok enough with their jobs. I'm never impressed with the overall cost, but I would rather spend more for happy staff. Keep up the good work.

New location only made things more convoluted. Parking lot is a pain unless you have the smallest of cars. Why keep hummus from different brands at total opposite ends of the store? Why split the lunds brand breads in two different places and far apart? There's no flow to the new location. I'm surprised the new location is more poorly organized than the last.

It's hard to review a grocery store. It's clean and staffed and has a good variety. I really appreciate their cheese and bakery departments, as well as their produce selection. I would say I think they should pay their employees more, however.

Their prices are high but the food quality matches them. After using their spices I can't go back to more affordable brands because I can taste the difference. I highly recommend that you shop there during non rush-hour on week days, otherwise be ready to wait around the check out are with the entire neighborhood. Some cashiers are efficient but others like to chat with the regulars.

Upscale gourmet market with standard fare as well as more eclectic items. Produce is fresh and varied. In-store bakery complements the usual selection of grains, in addition to providing a fanciful dessert or celebration option. Staff are professional, courteous, and helpful. Prices are slightly higher compared to other chains, but reflect the extensive variety.

I ordered online for curbside pickup. The store uses their own employees instead of a 3rd-party shopping service. In addition to being better for the employees, it also means I get actual store prices, including sale prices. The order was picked accurately and brought out to my car promptly. They included a regular cash register receipt, showing actual prices for produce and deli items. I will use this service again.

We have shopped at Lunds for about 30 years. Their quality shows. Great produce, meats, dairy, frozen foods, just what you'd expect from a premium store. That's the only drawback, their day to day prices are premium too. Great sales weekly. They have the BEST paper bags with handles, and people to carry it out to your car if necessary. Friendly cashiers and carry out staff. Very busy parking lot.

Lunds is always nice but over priced as for any high-end grocery store! Should think about providing this healthy food to a community of unwealthy families. They need to feed this better food to their children and you should be selling it at rates which everyone can afford! There is enough healthy food to feed everyone. Make it affordable

Prices at this location have increased steeply over the last couple of years. Some items are outrageously overpriced (e.g >10 bucks for a deli salad). Items that are"on sale" are usually very near expiration date. Deli food bar is boring and predictable, especially campared to the L&B stores that were originally Byerly's stores.

Not OVERpriced. Do yourself a favor and buy your packaged foods somewhere else. As far as produce, deli, and meats, Lunds cannot be beat. Kowalski's doesn't have the selection or staff like Lunds. Little tip, if you don't see the veggie or fruit you want on the shelf, just ask an employee. They'll always run in back and grab some for you. All the employees are knowledgeable and easy to find. I've shopped here since I was a kid, so maybe I am biased, but this store is objectively great.

This grocery store has very good customer service and a pretty good selection. Their produce and meats are good. In general, it's a little expensive, but they do have very good sales. Someone will walk your groceries to your car for you (no tip necessary, or even allowed).

Apparently they will change the recipe selection weekly. Great products, but it definitely seems like a heftier price tag, overall.

I stopped in to grab a few things for my mom before a snow storm and was surprised at how affordable most things were. A gallon on skim milk was $2.99, same as a few other places, big cans of Campbell's soup were $1.57, again comparable to other places. However, the cheapest BBQ Sauce was over $3 which other places I could have gotten for 1/3 of that for the same brand/ size. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Plus, they bag and bring the groceries to your vehicle for free. I felt bad because I didn't have any cash to tip the gentleman. Overall, a nice place to make a quick stop for groceries.

Love this Lunds. Always well-stocked. Most times there are enough cashiers to get through the line quickly. Butchers provide free knife sharpening. Plenty of parking. Employees will help take your bags to your car if you need it.

You want to go shopping for moderately overpriced groceries and then have to wait in line for 30 minutes to check out? This is the place for you. I've been here many times and without fail I wait way too long in line. At least at Kowalski's and Whole foods when you pay too much for food you get through checkout quickly. Such a shame as I would probably shop here consistently if they got their act together.

I love the selection here and the service is always great. They always have the unique ingredients I need. So why the 4 stars? I cannot for the life of me understand their sorting style. Their signs are in the middle of each aisle showing what the aisle contains which requires you to walk into the entry of each aisle, stop and look down the aisle to see what's in it. There should be two signs per aisle at the ends of each aisle to be visible as you approach the aisle. I don't want to stop in the entry and exit points to see the sign to ponder whether I want to go in. I want to see what's in the aisle as I approach so I'm not in people's way. It sounds nuts but it really does affect my experience every time I'm there. Their sorting seems off. I don know what I'd do to make it better, but I do know I don't get confused at any other grocery stores in the city.

This place has everything you need. Produce is always fresh and love the BOGO deals especially on Tuesdays. Can be pricey so shop for the deals...they always have deals!!!! Fantastic bakery deli and cheese shop. Open until 10pm. Late night is the best time to shop when its not so busy, which it usually is. But even with the crowds its a very pleasant place to shop.

There's so many good things at L&B's. Their BOGO deals are a super deal. They have a Cheddar Cranberry by the pound. Perfect for bread and cheese, coffee and juice for breakfast. Great staff! Bakery is superb! There are deals, you can shop on a small budget if you have too. Fruit is very pricey, as are fresh veggies. But sometimes a deal will surprise one. Bring your own bag. They're now charging. Their shopping bags are cheap, washable, and neatly packed when you're done.

I had a horrible experience the last time I was here—that particular experience deserved one star. I had more than one employee make that visit less than desirable. Usually, I like shopping at Lund’s. I love the selection, the quality of the products and the cashiers and baggers are really friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they’re a union shop. My experience in the bakery has been mixed. Sometimes they’re super friendly and other times they’re not. The deli staff has always been friendly, but my last visit was just plain bad! My advice is to go grocery shopping there during the day! The evening staff makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing them. You’ll have a much better experience during the day!

Favorite grocery store to get high quality stuff. They have a great selection of brands when it comes to all kinds of things. Sauces, spices, pastas, ice cream, you name it they have some fancy and delicious products to offer. A little more expensive than the neighbor Target but their quality is in line with the price. You get what you pay for.

While charming and friendly people, it's impossible to stop there during the day. They either need more staff or put in self check outs. The lines are always incredibly long. It's so sad. In addition bought their brand 1% milk and twice was curdled even though was way ahead of expiration date. Shop outside the hours of 7 am to 8pm and don't buy their brand of milk then you're fine.

This location features a large deli with a huge selection, including: Boars Head brand meats, cheeses, a hot food take out area with lots of options, numerous flavors of rotisserie chicken, a salad bar, and even an olive bar. Large selection of flowers, plants, (even potted orchids, mini cacti, and air plants!) & greeting cards. Amazing produce, huge selection throughout the entire store - including ethnic, organic, gluten-free, kosher & sugar free, plus hard-to-find items. Top of the line brands, large dairy variety. Milks include regular, organic, lactose free, soy, almond, & coconut. They also carry health & beauty products, lots of vitamins & supplements, specialty soaps, candles, and even essential oils. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff - the customer service is second to none. Full service pharmacy in-store, bakery on site, plus full service bagging & carry out to your vehicle. Great sales and specials - be sure to check their in-store circular.

Not much as far as details. Just grocery shopping. There are a few things that we get at Lund's that we have difficulty finding at some other stores. We also shop here if we need just a few items. It doesn't make sense to drive further for a small amount of items, and spend on the gas and mileage.

It has a great selection, knowledgeable staff, and is conveniently located near a Target Express, pet store, pharmacy and the rest of the Ford/Cleveland shopping area. Their method of bagging and carrying groceries for customers is nice, although the naggers frequently complain my reusable shopping bags are too large (isn't the customer always right?) Lund's is expensive and during peak hours the interior is a giant traffic jam. I only go here when I can avoid peak hours.

I have always loved your store. However, the last time I purchased the cranberry walnut bread, I was shocked how small the loaf was and how high the price was. I cannot afford that anymore, 3 times I purchased 1/2 and 1/2 and milk and it soured before the expiration date. Last time I purchased milk about June 22 the expiration date was June 26. I looked around for a better expiration date and could not find any so purchased that. I purchased flowers to take to a friend in hospice and before I got them too her a few hours later, they were already dropping flowers. They didn’t last long so no more flowers. I am thinking of changing grocery stores but unfortunately none are as convenient as yours but will have to just drive a little more. I love this Lund's! Stellar customer service throughout the store. When there is a hiccup, they resolve it immediately and gracefully. The best strawberry-rhubarb pies (why compete?). All of the pastries and cakes are exquisite. You cannot go wrong with their cheese selection. The ladies behind the cheese counter know their cheeses! I rely on their advice. If I see Swedish meatballs in the hot bar, that's what I'm having for dinner. Consistent good quality lemons. I appreciate how well stocked they are--when they're running a BOGO on Haagen-Dazs, they don't run out. They are a wonderful part of the community, employing people with differing ability levels as baggers. And it always brightens my day to go through Craig or Dawn's line at the check out.

I don’t know the personal relationship of the male boss to the female cashier so that term may be fine in a different setting. A female employee should not be referred to as ‘dear’ in front of customers. Great food and staff. Last night around 10 pm my car died in their parking lot after I stopped by to pick up some groceries. I came inside and ask a gentleman named Zee if I could leave my car there over night. Without hesitation Zee offered to jump start my car once he got off work despite the temperature being nearly 0 below. No employee anywhere has ever been so kind to me. While Zee and I weren’t able to get the car working, Zee’s manager happily let me keep my car there over night. Great folks!

It's a little up tight. They had a police officer hovering over the registers at 6 in the evening on a Wednesday. Nobody's trying to rob Lund's Byerly's in Highland, let alone at 6 pm on a Wednesday. Yes: Lunds prices are high, yet, they’re occasional sales. There’s assistance to bring your bags to your car. Therefore, unlike Cub. They’re NOT any Carts scatter around the Parking lot. Even if; There’s an area to Temporarily store the carts. Some people are still Too Lazy and leaves the cart anywhere, even in a Handicap Paking Spot. Fine, the nearest Cub to Highland Lunds is on University, E of Snelling. Or Lake Street @ Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis. The amount that Id commente to either location is ridiculous time consuming. Besides: Groceries @ Cub, Bagging your Food is Required. Perhaps, Cub Charges 25 Cents to $1 for a box. Or: go to Costco’s out in the “SE BURBS” Lunds does take All Credit Cards. The old Fashion Scooler’s still writes Checks & yes: they’re Accepted.
