Really nice staff but everything is super expensive especially for having mostly volunteer staff. Could use a better toiletry section too. I love that they give a second chance to food they would’ve thrown out, instead they sell it for cheap so it doesn’t go to waste.

Not sure I just looked around a little bit it had a lot of different things but then again a lot of things were missing, Might try and do my Grocery shopping next week seeming as this is down about a block or two from me. Yeah it's a lot better than going all the way downtown and with my wheelchair 2 blocks away is cool and I just signed up to be a volunteer. As a volunteer you get 20% off of your grocery bill

One of the best places in the area for groceries. GF options.. The people that really try hard, even if they're volunteer. And they're getting better. Good Fresh food section. They are in a tough spot but have good stuff. If you go often, they all seem to appreciate the familiarity. Happy they have tables and chairs to sit for a minute.

It's a good location and that type of business had been missing from this area for a couple of years now. The prices are good whether u join the co-op program or not. Program = volunteer 4hours a month to help operations. They ask if Im a member after every purchase but not if I would like to join. The prices are comparable to Aldi and Cub. Very clean too.

This little grocery store is close to my house and my go-to for everything Aldi doesn't carry. Their produce is always really good, too. They have lots of vegetarian alternatives and basic cheeses.

Great little neighborhood grocery store that serves the community with love. If you happen to be good insecure this grocery store has an outlet area that offers food at a huge discount but you have to join the outlet program. They also offer 20% off total if you are a volunteer with Good Grocers. I really like the business motto. Look them up and read about it. I will definitely be coming back.

Something for everyone! If you're looking for a Whole foods feeling it's there, or if you want deeply discounted food, they got you! They offer a 20% discount on food for volunteering, week it out and see if the discount works for you. I do most of my shopping at Aldi's which is far cheaper with the discount included. If you figure your time is worth at least $15 an hour the prices of the food including the discount doesn't add up, compared to other grocery stores in the area. The people there are awesome and It's a good concept. One could consider volunteering and maybe pass the discount on to someone else?

I love this co-op! The people are always friendly, it's always neat and clean, and the chocolate bar selection is top notch. The ginger gentleman (I think he might be the manager?) is a genuine delight every time I interact with him.

Good grocer it's right on the corner of 2700 nicollet Avenue they say the address is 2650 but it's the corner store they have a cute little parking lot in the back and if you bring the kids they have their own little shopping cart to push I mean little like for a kid just starting to walk very little. They had a great selection and they've got Peace coffee which is fair trade it's a great company the prices are awesome. But the good thing is the large price is if you volunteer down there for two and a half hours a week or something you get the bigger discount 20% off your groceries so it's very nice clean fresh food the volunteers were awesome it's great help.

Clean, unique shopping. Volunteer employees and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Prices seem a bit high and expired or near expiration. Its almost like they purchase expiring product from stores that onlly sell through certain datecand then mark up the price? Location is great. They do have some discounted items but only because expiration

Extremely innovative and interesting use of volunteers as employees with discounted prices for volunteers. Only complaint is that prices can be a little higher and the selection is smaller, but that's not something that they can get around. Living only two blocks away it can be a convenient option, which I can only assume the convenience is better for the apartments above. I also hope that as Covid restrictions are lifted, so are the constrained business hours.

Awesome, volunteer based grocery store. Great selection and a goody variety of snacks. Also, a portion of each sale goes towards their food outlet that helps people in the neighborhood. Love that. They also have sushi from a local place called In lntown Sushi. The spring roll was so good!

Enjoy getting to walk to a local place to pick up the essentials. Good selection of vegan items and fresh produce. Hopefully they will expand the bulk items and ditch the plastic bags.

Great variety in a very accessible corner store, hospitable staff and the profits go into an "almost free" hyper-discounted foodshelf kind of setup, which is open on Saturdays. Cheaper and much more healthy variety than a "convenience" store, more like a miniature Kowalskis without the deli!

It's great to have a little grocery in that neighborhood that has fresh produce and Dairy. I don't live anywhere near there but have been a couple times. Prices are a little higher than the big grocery stores but it will definitely save you time if you just needed to pick something up . I believe the place is run by volunteers so they have volunteer pricing and full pricing. Volunteering there would be a great opportunity for someone in the neighborhood.

This is a great little grocery store. It's small, so the selection is not as large as a larger store, but it has a great variety of quality merchandise. It's a great place to go if you're looking to pick up some good quality staples, including produce - they have a very respectable variety of fruits and vegetables, and all the produce I've purchased there has been good quality. Their frozen foods section is also pretty great - lots of variety, and lots of pretty wholesome/natural products as well as standard stuff. It seemed like the baking section was a little lacking, but to me that's not a big deal. Just keep in mind that if you're looking to stock up on baking supplies, this might not be the best spot. Their prices are fantastic, even without the volunteer discount (people who volunteer there get 25% off on purchases).

This place is awesome! As a man in recovery trying to slowly put the pieces back together being able to afford to eat healthy is a BIG struggle. Being able to trade my time for a discount on healthy food allows me to stretch my income and save money to reach my goals in a healthy, positive way. Delicious, fresh produce with lots of organic options. Prices are on par with Walmart, and 25% lower with a membership- which only requires volunteering 2hrs a month. Extremely friendly staff and owners, very welcoming. There's even a child care room!

Excellent business model, beautiful space, and kind workers! Be aware: this store has closed, to make way for the 35W construction. They are building a new store at 2644 Nicollet Ave, and hope to be open again in the fall. The Good Grocer mostly 'employs' volunteers, who then recieve a 25% discount in the store. If you are interested in volunteering, the will be accepting new volunteers again when the store reopens on Nicollet.

This Grocer is very very good :NOW you don't have to go all the way to CUB.This place has EVERY THING for every race of people! K-MATT will close and there's an opportunity to take care of their staff (I mean benefits medical,dental ect) p.s. will go every time because I live around Conveinite stores and THEY are so expensive and will not put what u ask for on the shelves All so for a small looking SHOP you guys are really super& big☻☻black male!ha ha☻.
