Reviews of Farmers Market Annex
Lots of wonderful things and food to buy! A great way to spend your weekend away from home.
There are a number of booths so make sure to check every lane if you want to make the lost out of your visit. Dress comfortable and also have cash ready so that it’s easy for both the vendors and the customers.
Make sure to have a number of bags if you want to be more eco friendly, although plastic bags are still given.
Overall just take your time, 1 hour isn’t enough in my opinion but I didn’t have a list to buy either so I just formulated what I wanted for one meal first then I can always come back! Support small businesses!
Best farmers market ever! They have fantastic food, coffee & juice choices. I always get compliments on the clothes & purses that I've purchased. This farmers market has a little bit of everything for everyone. I've already purchased a few Christmas gifts. It's truly the fantastic. A some people think you have to get there by 7 am. I usually get between 11am and noon. They also have really good live music.
The Minneapolis farmers market is the best that I have been to in Minnesota. A great variety of fresh produce for individuals, preservers, and restaurants alike at very reasonable prices. There's enough hot food and drink vendors to make the visit a complete outing, and there was even a cornhole set to play. We will keep coming back for all our fresh summer and fall produce.
So much beautiful produce! Potatoes, carrots, beans, tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage, sweet corn, broccoli,..just to name a few. Most of it was clean and fresh. Beautiful bouquets of fresh cut flowers for $6-$8. Great deal. Lots of food vendors. Fun clothes and jewelry. Be sure to allow plenty if time to see everything, and bring coolers for all the goodies you want to bring home.
One of my favorite activities on a Saturday morning is to visit the Farmers market. You can find any kind of breakfast you'd like. You can purchase any kind of vegetables you wish. I love people watching and love hanging out over there
Flowers that are so colorful they almost look fake, but stunningly beautiful, produce that is as varied as the people of the world. Some of the jewelry definitely seems over priced for a farmers market. Very nice overall experience.
Always love the Minneapolis farmers market. The selection of everything is awesome. The flowers are to die for... Everything is reasonable and something for everyone literally. Love this place. I go whenever I am close to the cities. A+++
Great place to shoot photos of cars at night with downtown on the horizon. Also a great farmers market by day!
Was first time. This place is awesome!! Food, flowers and all kinds of other vendors.
Always nice to get out on a early Saturday or Sunday morning and check out what's available at the Farmers Market.
Not to surprizing for mid oct not a ton of venders but still enough to get basic veggies.
This is a must stop shop!
All the vendors that visit here are friendly and well informed of their products! My family loves to visit any and all farmers markets. This one is my local and quite a large one for the area at that. You won't be disappointed in the produce, the treats, or the live music plus, there is a beer garden. I could really keep going but I think you get the picture!
Such a nice day to Walker and look at flowers and pick up some fruit and veggies
Got there about 8am, parking wasn't bad..all vendors were very friendly, bought pickling cukes and fresh dill
I go here constantly. I love buying produce locally, and the treats that some stands offer are beyond incredible. Go here if you're in town, you won't regret it!!!
Best farmers market in Minneapolis! Great variety of goods and foods.
Excellent selection of Farm Fresh good & local products. One way lanes & hand sanitizer throughout for Covid.
Fabulous vegetables- locally grown flowers, food items, and clothing/jewelry ♥️
Interesting mix of crafts, veggies, garden plants, flowers and food venders to enjoy and listen to musical talent as you shop. Some hard to find herbs also!
Very fresh and busy market. Definitely one must go there for variety of fruits and vegies to buy in wholesale.
So much fun and so many things to buy!
This is my favorite farmer's market because it's so big! There are dozens of produce vendors, both farmers and resellers, lots of food vendors, flower booths, and clothing/jewelry/knickknacks. It's outdoors but has large awnings covering the booths so you can stay shaded and dry during sunny and rainy days, respectively. The awnings also keep it a bit chillier overall so I'd advise a sweater most of the time :)
A Minneapolis institution. If you've not gone you're missing out on a key city experience.
Love the selection from the farmers,we usually shop the same farms for the best produce, but always awesome service throughout the market. Only complaint is now it is becoming more of a small State Fair..more food vendors and sales tents...and too many people pushing massive strollers down small walkways. But it is a great spot to head to early morning on a weekend to get your produce shopping done.
Saturday mornings: Minneapolis- The sights, the smells, the delicious breakfast burrito...all keeps me living here in Minnesota...and forget the big roosters!
Awesome Farmers Market! Best variety of produce and products. Reasonable prices. Live music. Just a really great atmosphere. You have to get there early for parking. Don't buy from the first produce stands you see, shop the different booths, you'll see better deals as you shop. Corn for example was a fix for $6 at several booths and then $7.50 at others.
Picked up some amazing flowers for a wedding! Pricing is better than what you'd get by ordering from another florist. I was about to get everything I needed and quick! This is great if you are doing flowers yourself!
Be aware that some days the flower market isn't open until 9a. I had to wait a little while until they opened.
I was hesitant to check out my beloved Minneapolis Farmers Market this year, fearing the vibe I've always enjoyed wouldn't be the same. However I've been the last two weekends and it's just as fabulous as ever. A craving for Untiedt's fresh broccoli brought me out there after sampling some from my families CSA. I will continue to go this season.
They are handling the covid distancing very well, volunteers help direct people and all vendors are wearing masks. There are sanitation stations set up and designated eating areas. All in all, it may not be the same as previous years but it's top notch in my book.
Definitely worth a visit. Typical farmer's market things for sale and more. Prices are competitive and the food vendors are good. Parking is free.
This is by far the largest Farmers market. Great deals everywhere you go. The people are kind everywhere
Fresh Vegetables do not have a substitute! Good clean place with social distancing and healthy practices. Local produce and farmers are putting lot of efforts and time to grow these veggies. I like it.
Great fresh produce all the time
It was windy and cold Sunday so there weren't a lot of people shopping at the Farmer's Market. The vendors I went to buy fruits and veggies from were there and I was able to get some excellent buys. Check out Tollefson's meats when you go. They cook a variety of things on their grill at the market to enjoy while you shop. And take some bacon, ham or brats home, too. The market is open through October!
The Minneapolis farmers market was a lovely way to spend Sunday morning. There was a nice variety of food and produce vendors as well as several flower and live plants for sale. Only complaint was the parking..there is not a lot of free parking available. Overall highly recommend if you're in the area
Love the Minneapolis farmer's market!! My family has been going all my life for the most beautiful flowers for Memorial Day bouquets. I now go with my wife for fresh, in-season produce. We also love the variety of breakfast/brunch food options! This morning was a delicious order of cheese wontons!!
Gotta visit this market, all kinds of food, vegetables, flowers, even had a live band.
Our favorite spot to grab our Christmas tree!
Mainly fresh veggies
A few food/coffe,/beverage vendors
A good amount of interesting items being sold
No dogs allowed but there is a dog day care right next to the area
People did not follow the directions of giant arrows on the ground, made for lots of blockages
Would definitely recommend visiting, be prepared to park far away if it's a weekend
My favorite the best farmers' market in the area. It is a big market, so there is plenty of choice for fresh local fruits and vegetables and the large number of vendors helps keep prices low. But there is much more than just produce--meats, cheeses, sauces and salsas, tortillas, breads, and hot food options if you just want to go there to eat.
Really a good place to buy fresh produce in summer at reasonable price
I love this farmer’s market! It has a lot of variety and activities! Food is also very good. The only think I don’t like is how some vendors sell fruits and veggies from whole sale stores and not from their own farm.
Support local farmers and have the largest selection to choose from.
Lots and lots of options. Fresh fruits, veggies, smoothies, flowers and more.
a bustling area in the summers perfect for fresh produce. It's busiest on Fridays and Saturdays some stalls will clear out by sunday's! there is also a lot of handmade items and preserves!
Great fun. Lots to shop.
The music was good, the vendors were hit and miss. Good place to hang out on beautiful day!
Get there early otherwise may miss out on some good stuff
Crisp cool morning air mixed with all the smells of fall plants, spices, coffee and fresh produce. Then there are cooking smells of roasted corn, fresh cinnamon rolls, brats and other meats cooked on grills.
There is pottery, clothing, things for your yard, jewelry and lots of produce. Most people are smiling and friendly.
Whats not to love!
The best place to get local and international stuff. They are always helpful and honest about the taste. They help guide you on how to prep and cook it, how to store it and about how long it will last! What you would spend normally a week at a grocery store, you'll spend half here. Best place ever
It's my go to almost every weekend. Lavender lemonade from Bare Honey, a brat from Tollefsons, banana bread from Quince, not to mention all the stands with fresh produce. It's always a worthwhile visit. Parking is better the earlier you get there.
I don't understand the poor reviews! I came and found lots of produce by local farmers as well as bread, jams, soap, locally made foods, handcrafted jewelry, hosta plants, healthful pet treats and so much more. Sure, there are clothes and some other items, but they even say they're like a European Bazaar on their websiteand they get pretty close to it, if you ask me. It's fun to go there! Don't let the snobs keep you away.
Great produce. You need to walk the aisles. Not all prices are them as it may seem. Some vendors buy the produce from other states and resell it. This should be banned, buy local, eat local, support a local 🚜 👨🌾 👩🌾 🚜 farm. …
A bit criwded, good amount of vendors with fresh produce, honey, meats, clothing, and art, live music, if you get hot just step in to one of the buildings and go look at the flowers in the coolers.
Incredible! Great prices. Very nice produce. Flowers are cheap and beautiful. Bring water though. Not much to drink there. There is a nice selection of food. No burgers though. 😳 …
Huge farmers market with tons of good local options. Food made to order as well!! Grilled corn is the bomb. Not technically dog friendly us the only downside.
Really like the atmosphere and the way the stands were arranged. Tons of variety and some rare fruits and vegetables as well. Zeus's nachos are must-try.
This is one of my favorite places on this planet! Buzzing with so much energy, how can one NOT love this place. Great variety of vendors, coffee places, and food venues. Live music, and plenty of room. Everything was great!
Lots of different vendors to buy from and at such great prices! Love the lady with the huge cinnamon rolls
Fresh veggies at below grocery prices. Delicious street food and custom crafts. Best farmers market in the TC. Closes early so get out of bed. Don't worry they have coffee for the addicts.
This is our Sunday ritual . Suggestion is to take a round of the place and decide what you actually need and pick them in your second round.
A simple request is to take a cloth bag or any personal bag to save on the plastic bags you'll have to take on every purchase. Let's be truly organic .
All stalls are unique, colorful and have lots of variety. Cucumbers bought this year are the catch of this season crunchy and yummy, papaya salad, cheese curds, roasted corn, kombucha and chocolate donuts, all in all 4 star experience.
Love this market. Experience is always great. Rain or shine, huge selection, great food. Even if you are not looking for fresh produce, the food and crafts are worth the trip.
Good cookies. Not meant for sharing.
Great time...beautiful flowers and great produce!
Food treats to healthy veggies straight from the farm, knickknacks for house & lawn deco cal all be found here in a fun outdoor environment. There is easy parking and friendly vendors
Haven't been here in several years. We will be coming regularly now. So much good produce and locally made items to choose from.
Love this farmer's market, the different food and choices. The different vendors and their awesome attitudes even when it's cold. Please go out and support
Truly enjoyed this place. So much to take in. Fresh veggies, handmade arts and crafts and much more.
We go early every Saturday to avoid as much of the crowd as we can. Breakfast burritos from elmo catering just about every time.
This place is just amazing! And for the prices! Yeah, I recommend 100 %. Just could have more places to either sit down and relax, or even use the bathroom.
I went there to buy a Christmas tree they have the most wonderful. Healthy trees I found the perfect one and they cut it down for me and put it in my car happy with the service happy with the price I spent $60 wonderful
Always exciting the first visit of the season...new vendors, plants, ideas, gardening,, sampling, people watching, smells and foods...it's Great ...always a worth while visit....I've been grazing on my bounty I picked up there....well...frankly All afternoon..Good deals All around....
Great atmosphere, welcoming vendors, amazing produce and meats. A real treat every weekend!
Great place to pick up fresh locally grown food! Its very busy on the weekend, and slower with fewer venders on week days
Had an amazing time! Lots of great vendors here for food, craft and apparel!
Love coming here to find fresh produce and beautiful flowers
Great place to shop, eat, hang out on the weekends. Always fresh and organic choices.
First ever visit to the place and it's worth going to Farmers Market. Vegetables and fruits were so fresh and at a very reasonable price. Huge varity of flowers, flower pots and vegetables pots.
Vendors selling VARIOUS items from art, clothing, coffee, herbs, hot foods, fresh vegetables, flowers, jewelry, and much more.
Enjoyed listening to the guitarist/singer that was performing, Antonio Salerno.
Definitely worth returning.
Loved all the wonderful improvements! Much easier to get walk around and not walk into others. Better selection of venues and quality of the produce and products.
Local farmers, florists, food vendors and crafters at a large, open facility with shade over most stands. The parking is horrendous though, bike or walk if you can. Great prices on everything!
The farmer's market is a great place to get out and find fresh food and have crafted goods provided by people in our open communities!
There are a lot of vendors in this area that sell lots of fun trinkets. The hipster scene around here is strong but the craft goods sourced locally are very fun to peruse.
Huge, huge, and huge-ish. So much selection, vendors of fruits, vegetables, breakfast and additional meal options with flowers that are beyond bright and brilliant. Does not disappoint
Simply awesome. You can find all the fresh veggies here
It was fun walking around and seeing all the vendors. Had a great Bratwurst! Summer!!!
I love to be able to step at Farmers Markets to pick up fresh vegetables and other interesting items. I am always able to find a place to park.
If you looking to go on a Saturday morning get there as early as u can. It gets busy. Sunday mornings are alot better
My favorite reason to wake up early on the weekend! Delicious food, fun finds, and I get flowers every time

Love the many varieties of vegetables, awesome prices. Will never get veggies at a store during this time of year ever again.
Amazing atmosphere. Great vendors. A real little piece of Minnesota nice right near the Walker arts center!
Very crowded, bring a mask!
We will get all kinds of fresh veggies in the same place.
Great breakfast burritos, beautiful fresh flowers, lots of great vendors. A perfect Saturday morning ☺️
Everyone was so friendly. I enjoyed my first time there so much.
I was so happy the farmers market was open being able to go here made things feel a little bit normal during this whole pandemic
One of the best farmers markets in Minnesota. A lot of interesting vegetables, prepared foods and even clothing and jewelry.
Fabulously fresh
They not only sell locally grown produce, but clothing, jewelry, and other interesting products. And on weekends they have live music!
Good farmers market, very crowded when we went but every place we stopped people were helpful and friendly.
Wonderful! Handmade leather African bracelet and a hand sewn pot holder for my phone to rest on.
Super cute farmer's market. The produce was great, the prepared food stalls left a little to be desired.

Was ok, however way to crowed and people don't care if they walk next to your car and scrape it
Great flowers, imported and local from early spring through October.
Crowded, limited parking for the number of people there. Great selection of products
What a great time. Not a lot of people so it was great to walk see everything with the kids!
Great market with a little bit of everything!
Interesting stuff, but I rarely buy. Found a fantastic necklace once
One our favorite family spots to go. Hit it up early to miss the crowds.
I went several times searching for the jam/jelly guys. Sunday I'm hunting them and the smoked trout.
All vendors were very friendly even when you weren't buying any of their products
