Take my advice & check this place out! The prices are below reasonable...so cheap I don't know how they do it. Produce is top quality. Very clean, organized, well stocked. Great staff with great attitudes. Bring a quarter for a cart (you'll get it back) and some bags (or you can grab some empty boxes). Update 3-1-2022 Prices are creeping up but they are going up all over. There are times you will find better deals at other stores such as Cub or Target, when they are running a sale. Example $5 for Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza pizza vs $7.50 or so at Aldi.

Aldi's is a great place to buy your groceries or even home goods. The prices are very reasonable and it's clean and organized and the staff is very friendly. It's a great place to shop when you're on a budget just remember to bring your own bags. And a quarter for your cart, when you return your cart you get your quarter back. I love this store! Their prices cannot be beat. The restaurant style tortilla chips are excellent and only .99 cents for a huge bag! They have the BEST hummus and have new flavors every month. Awesome produce and so darn cheap! Great selection of vegan burgers, meatballs and "chicken patties" and super soy milk and guacamole, too.

Great prices! About 8 large bags of groceries for $100.00 or less. More than half the price of other grocery stores. Fresh produce and very good quality meats. Additional non food items also at reasonable prices. Mostly generic brands, that taste just as good as the name brands. They do have some name brands and a good selection of organic products. I would recommend shopping here if you are on a budget or are tired of paying twice the price for basically the same food. The staff is always helpful and the cashier's are always very friendly and pleasant. 2 thumbs up!

The prices and selection are good and the quality of most items is on par with brand names in the grocery store but the store is set up poorly and the employees tend to get in the way while stocking the shelves. The shopping experience isn't particularly good like at a real grocery store and the selection is lacking(meaning they generally only have 1 type or brand of each item). If you know what you want and know they have it, it's a great place to shop because of the prices, but the employees leave much to be desired.

A good place to shop if you need basic groceries on a tight budget. While the shopping experience isn't super cheerful like it would be at a Trader Joe's, that's not why people come here. Prices are much lower because items are not stocked the way they are in a traditional grocery store, rather, the boxes are stacked on shelves and it is up to you to reach up and grab what you need. The checkout lines are VERY fast. The double-back guarantee is a plus, and the management who takes care of those returns is friendly and helpful.

Great location....can always find bargains, needed to buy my pink canned salmon and I saved $2 a can and bought a bag of russet potatoes for the low too. Their always busy but the cashiers are efficient. Best to know what items u need cause they dont sale everything but I always save money when I shop here.

This Aldi is very clean and the location is convenient. The food seems to be taken care of properly! This location is organized especially after the remodel! The employees are always pleasant! The only reason I did not give this location 5 stars is because of the parking lot. There has been multiple times that I couldn't find a parking spot when I first got there. Also it is very hard to exit the parking lot on to penn.

Redesign to increase space and selection looks really good. Don't forget a quarter for the carts (you get the quarter back!) Cashiers are trained to get you through checkout fast so you can enjoy your shopping without being stuck in lines.

Great alternative grocery store, with great selections at lower costs. Just remember your own bags and a quarter for a cart. Also I recommend the premise pizzas for only like 5 bucks, very tasty. Just recently remodeled as well so there is a lot more space, and it's not as crowded as before.

This Aldis is a spacious store compared to the other stores and its quite refreshing. Always great deals, good produce. Usually a pleasant and helpful staff. However last night when we were checking out, I offered a small box and set it in our cart. I asked for the cashier to set our scanned goods in this small box, but she purposely avoided the box hastely. In her haste to avoid the box, our blueberries hit the side of the cart and exploded everywhere. Their employees make very good money here. This cashiers behavior was unacceptable. Its not like I asked her to pack the whole cart, just set some items into one small box.

Recently remodeled, so aisles seem wider and there appears to be more space for merchandise. Prices are low, but you can't get everything you need at these stores. They carry a limited selection. The thing with having to have a 25 cent coin to get a cart and the way you have to bag your order on a shelf across from the check out registers gets annoying. Quality of some items is questionable, but other things are fine. You never quite know....

Shop here for great prices on produce, eggs and the like. Also they have high quality ethical chocolate for very good prices. Ignore any prepared foods. Selection is limited, but its our first stop every Saturday morning, and we fill in our needs at Costco or a chain grocery store after.

Clean as Aldi's goes, usually quite busy but the staff are good and the prices are great. We find the produce is good as long as you take a look - pass on the strawberries though. Most ingredients are great. Boxed food like cereals are decent to good quality and most are comparable to normal brands. The meat and cheese selection is good and we found it to be an acceptable quality. Stay away from the mac and cheese and cream of.. soups.

Love their chicken bacon ranch pizza. Fruits and veggies can be very reasonable. I avoid most of their processed food and snacks though. Some frozen foods are a good deal too. Ham can be cheap if you can get it on sale. I've seen it as low as .79 a pound. Cream cheese is the cheapest I have found.

Aldi has a lot of their own brand or specifically made for Aldi items. I have been satisfied with everything I have purchased here. Nice prices. You won't see your normal brands and won't always find everything on your shopping list but thats ok.

Great selection, good produce, some of their frozen foods are so good and cheap(like the mussels). You can come here and spend $50 and walk out with 4 grocery bags. We come here first and then hit Cub Foods and Rainbow for whatever else we could not find at ALDI.

Can't beat the prices on produce here. You sometimes do have to carefully select fresh fruit and vegetable items as they are often closer to their expiration. But, that is fine with me as the value far outweighs the occasional over-ripe banana.

PROS: Good food, variety of choices, decent prices CONS: small building so it is typically crowded, check out lines take forever I like Aldi's because they do a have a variety of things to choose from and decent prices, but it is a trial and error. Because these are brands you most likely would not recognize, you don't know the flavor will be like. Most things I have picked up there have been very good however, a nice bonus. Their produce used to be not the freshest, but that has changed this past year and it has improved vastly.

This Aldi just reopened after being closed for renovations for over a month. It's awesome! Wide aisles, great selection of produce, dairy, and meat. Plus, they have great weekly deals on seasonal items. I got a bubble machine for my kiddo last time I was there! The only thing to watch for is the lip on the entrance coming into the parking lot. It's quite a bump and kind of feels like your car is bottoming out. Other than that, it's a great Aldi and it's even better than it was before the renovations.

Place was a crowded. Difficult to find a spot to park. Prices for many items were below other grocery stores. However many things are off brand so quality can be hit or miss. My experience has been more hits than misses. Remember to bring your reusable bags to pack your items.

Aldi is awesome. The prices are so good that I rarely pay attention to them. Great for staples - eggs, cheese, milk, veggies are good, fruit is great, but they sell out of stuff. Their bread has gotten to be very good and fully half the cost of cub. They are always adding new organic product and interesting niche things... Hello fast cooking whole grains, Bulgar wheat, barley, and quinoa. It's simple, who needs 42 different kinds of ketchup? You can get the basics in 10 minutes or less. Fast, good and cheap, you can have all three!

Love Aldi! It has been my main store for years now. It's a great place for families. I can get my weekly shopping done, WITH MY KIDS, in under an hour. I never have to worry about coupons or "specials" I just know that I'm getting a good price and value at Aldi. You can't beat saving time and $$$ as a parent!

Great product, Wonderful prices. Many brands you may not have herd of. Definitely give them a try. I do not consumer much premade - food so I cannot comment. Cheese, milk, choclet and meet all great. Your 1st visit you will think it's an odd place. But once you see how much $ you save you will love this place.

I love Aldi. Unbeatable prices for most items (Fresh Thyme sometimes has a better deal on fruit and poultry, but Aldi's prices are consistently low). Now carrying a greater variety of groceries than a few years ago. Lines are long but cashiers are efficient. Berries might not always be the freshest, so be sure to check. They have a generous return policy if you have an issue with any item.

I really like ALDI's a lot. I don't understand people's evaluations of the customer service though, that's not what it is about. ALDI is a store where your food dollar goes a loooong way. Where else can I get a CUB sized box of groceries for under 37 dollars? Not only that, but the selection of basics is very good, and their produce and fruit is much more inexpensive than anywhere else, so you can eat better for less money. If you've never been there it can be a bit confusing, but once you figure it out it's worth the savings. The checkout lines do seem long, but the way they check people out makes the process go very quickly.I bought the above mentioned box of food and was driving away in 20 minutes. As far as employee demeanor goes, they are busy all the time because they sell large quantities, but they have always been nice to me.

I live around the corner from here and there are three or so other grocery stores nearby, it is by far my favorite. People that have commented above don't understand the place, you don't go to Aldi for customer service, if that is what you want, Lund's is next door. You go there for a good selection and the VERY best prices. All of the food here is amazing that I have had, their own brands rank with some of the best and are identical to Trader Joe's selection. I buy plants and also cookware and other trinkets here and I love the place. Pick out your stuff, don't talk to anyone, put it on the belt, put a spacer behind your food, shut your mouth, pay and leave. You will no longer have complaints.

I think that they are just okay. Not bad, but not great either. The customer service is fine....for example except for one of their cashiers. Other workers there such as Ms. Ebony ( if I remember her name right) are very good at their job. They don't have a lot of things that a place like Cub Food does. But then their check out lines take much less time than Cub...They only seem to sell bleached flour, no rye or whole wheat. Aldi has way too much funky (and very expensive) made in Germany baked goods... in my opinion. They have limited types of vegies, and limited choices when it comes to yogurt .

A trip to Aldi can be a bit chaotic, especially on a Sunday. Bring a quarter if you want to use a cart! They also highly encourage reusable bags, which can be cost-effective, and eco friendly. I usually have to supplement with a run to Target, but can get most of what I need here. Weekly customer here!

Literally my only complaint about Aldi is their reduced store hours. I wish they were open longer. So many tremendous deals on groceries! Please consider opening sooner and closing later. Shopping anywhere else is simply a waste of money.

Went with my niece. Unique experience. Try to avoid using cash needed a quarter for a shopping cart? For what they had which is very limited, not what I expect in a supermarket. A unique experience. What they have was well-stocked. Check out was unique. Had to pay minimal amount for bags? More like a Dollar Tree store on steroids. Generic store branded products were not that bad. Have been in much larger store in Minneapolis that seems to have more stuff for sale. Aldi opened a much larger store 78th Street in Richfield. In the shops at Lyndale.

great Aldi! Clean and fresh produce always in stock. Just got a fresh papaya! There are also many staff members during peak hours and checkout moves quickly. Many other Aldis in TC are not as well staffed which is a pain. Plenty of parking. A good alternative to Cub in Edina and the Lunds nearby.

Prices are unbeatable and often unbelievable, but that comes with the hassle of an often crowded, understaffed and disheveled store. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be challenging during peak traffic at the uncontrolled Penn Ave entrance.

So solid. Great produce, unrealistically low prices, and having a little bit of everything, are all reasons to try aldi if you haven't yet. In price, I rank them 1st, beating even walmart and the bulk power savings of costco. In quality, they are middle of the road, slightly above cub, festival, and slightly below lunds, TJ's etc. As a person that frequents roughly ten different grocers, Id say you are shorting yourself if you dont at least take a look at what aldi has to offer. The Penn ave store is a good enough location to explore. Since they are the same company, Trader Joes is a decent comparison. So if you know TJ, then Aldi is just a friend you haven't met yet.

I like the idea of aldis, food at aldis and prices at aldis. Generally long lines at checkout. Stopped by at 8:15 p.m. tonight only to find try had changed their hours to close at 8 all week. I sat in the parking lot for 5 minutes and witnesses at least 10 others shopping plans ruined for the night as they also did not get the memo of the change in hours. Seems like a busy enough time to be open to turn away 11 customers in 5 minutes on a Wednesday at 8:20 pm but guess not.
