Festival has done it again, opening another large, consumer friendly, well lit store. The cafe here is probably one of my favorite parts, as it’s wide open, has plenty of room to sit, is right next to the deli and Caribou coffee stand, and the best part is when I sent my friend these photos he thought I was in an airport from how much natural light came through the windows 😂 The food here like their other stores is always fresh and tasty, and Sue from produce helped me find several veggies and dry grocery items I needed, and I made sure to tell her manager she deserves a raise (hopefully she’ll get another when corporate sees this). People do mention that prices here tend to be a bit higher than competing stores, but I personally think it’s worth it to get better service and happier employees, because when a company takes care of its employees, they take better care of customers. The store was well staffed on Tuesday January 25, 2022 in the morning and the guy at the meat counter who gave me my Nueske’s bacon (forgot his name, but he was working there around 9AM and had short black hair and a hat on) is one of the smartest people I’ve ever talked with in a grocery store

It's a new store and my first time inside and I was pretty impressed. We just ran in for a few items. The produce section looked really great, and the deli looked pretty impressive too with pre-made ready to eat foods like pot pie and ribs. Yum yum. They don't have a shoppers savers card but I guess when you're checking out you can scan coupons from the flyer? Will visit again.

Festival foods has a lot going on this is my first visit as we don't live in West Allis but this is the new store. The fruit and deli area was pretty interesting lots of fresh stuff and the deli had like lots of food that you could take home and eat right away all ready to go. Looks like a great place.

Clean store, good selection. However, the food isn't being rotated out properly. Many times I have bought items and they expire the very next day, or have had mold at the bottom that you can't see unless it's opened. Employees need to do a better job of either discounting items that are that close to expiration or sell by dates, or remove them off the shelves completely.

I appreciate this store for cleanliness and selection, but I can't see travelling outside of my neighborhood to go shopping here again. The prices were much higher than the last time I shopped there and I can't justify it. There weren't enough checkers working so I did it myself at the self checkout which was frustrating because there isn't enough room to put your groceries and the machine is constantly telling you not to move your bags/items. This would be a good place to make a quick run if you're in the neighborhood or live alone but it's not worth it if you have to drive or shop for a family.

Store was nice but I had a bad experience with some Chinese food I purchased to eat in. It was probably some of the coldest food I have ever been served. *Update* I am changing my rating from a 2 to a 5 * because the store sent me a $10 gift card to compensate what I spent on my original less than favorable experience. Friendly and helpful employees. The items I am picking up are far too expensive. Whole Foods is cheaper. They do have good coupons. They don't carry a number of things that I purchase. The last few times I purchased fresh vegetables they all went bad in under 48 hours. They could use a few better baggers. Often find soft items under heavy.

Very clean and orderly store. The cashier was probably the friendliest I ever encountered. She saw us wondering around confused and stopped to ask if we needed help. She asked if we were ready to check out and opened a lane to check us out.

Today marks 2 years my father passed away from covid. I walked into the store and there was a manager standing there I asked if they had flowers, he walked me over to them asked what they were for I said I was going to the grave and when I went to checkout he said it’s all on me today I hope you have a good rest of your day. I started crying as the employee asked if she could give me a hug. I don’t usually shop at festival but after my experience today i will become a regular shopper there. I’m so thankful for that experience and to know there’s good people out there.

Wanted to rate the sushi bar in festival west allis, wanted something he didn't have out yet, I asked and he made it right away. I love that he's so friendly that you can ask for something and they will make it. Will deff be stopping by more often for sushi!

I like festival stores in general but I am glad they came to this location. Like someone mentioned earlier, they obviously have higher prices on some stuff but I accept it for a elevated experience. If you want to save money and shop at a place with one register open...yay. I have never felt that way at other competitors, at least not in a long time. I just hope they keep the place running nice and that it doesn't get stallis'd like everything else. And on a side note....they got Jolly Good soda.

My favorite grocery store in Milwaukee. Good prices and easy coupon usage. Just have them scan the barcode on the weekly ad. The gas points at Kwik Trip are a bonus.

Festival Foods is always great. The hot food bar, deli, and food court are great. This particular location doesn't have a great seafood selection at the meat counter. Often run low on cashiers so wait times to check out run long. Still will always pick Festival over any other grocery store.

Great experience. Love their wide selection in the deli display. Their produce section is nice with a good selection. They also sell ready made food. Their snow crab roll was made fresh the very same day and it was delicious! I like that the aisle are nice and wide and their shelves are beautifully stocked. Also, there's NO display stands in the aisle unlike some stores you're having to move around them and let's hope you don't knock into them 🤦‍♀️. Good selection of products. Their liquor/ beer department is nice!!! Good selection from breweries all around the area.

My family has switched from PicknSave to Festival Foods for several reasons. One is because Festival Foods has a much better produce department. Festival Foods produce is fresher and in much better condition than PicknSave. Also, the store is always neat and clean, and the staff is very polite and helpful. The rotisserie chicken is absolutely DELICIOUS! I highly recommend it. I am so glad that Festival Foods came to my neighborhood.

I really enjoy shopping here. The bakery and deli are amazing and fairly priced. I just have one complaint; the area by the entrance and customer service desk smells like rotten shrimp and has for several months. The smell hits you pretty much as soon as you walk in the door and is very off putting.

The customer service is phenomenal. Always decent prices and great deli sandwiches. The fruit is fresh and the meat is delicious. The only issue I have experienced is a lack of cat food products. Beyond that, I will definitely be making this my new grocery stop.

Overall it’s convenient and clean but everytime I go the eggs, yogurt and or milk I pick up are way passed expired. Today I was looking for eggs and one was 4/6 and the other 4/8. Have told workers but assuming it’s not much a priority. Just got in the habit of not buying those items or digging through to see if there are unexpired ones.

I have been impressed with the variety of products available. We have tried several of the bakery items and have enjoyed them. We also have eaten their prepared foods. The Chinese food was excellent and the pizza was good. The produce has always looked good and the we have been pleased with the quality. And the employees have been helpful and friendly.

This store is amazing🥳🥳 Very clean, well organized and the way everything is displayed, it encourages shopping. Beware if you're dieting...lots of temptations...LOL! And their liquor section......WOW!! I don't even drink and bought some stuff🤣🤣🤣The only downside are the prices. They're much more expensive than Walmart, Woodman's and Pick N Save. I will return just for the experience and something small. No regular grocery shopping due to prices.

I'm pretty impressed so far. The new location off Greenfield Ave has really improved my opinion of the chain. Very clean, neat, well organized, polite and helpful. That location is tricky for this type of business, several other grocery chains tried and failed there. I wish them luck.

Really like the deli/bakery department. Sales flyers offer very good savings but some non sale items I just cannot buy here due to the price being too high. Also they do not offer a store brand on lots of items. Staff has ALWAYS been super friendly and helpful and store is very clean and organized.

Clean store with tons of food options. We are from the south so we were so amazed by this grocery store, the hot food section, the deli area, and the grab and go meals. It was also nice that they had a Caribou Coffee inside the store.

First time shopper and don't go there hungry this place had everything and at my age I can't eat everything anymore. The choices were many, meats seafood had plenty to look at. Salads, desserts, cereal. So I bought seafood great pieces of fresh salmon tilapia, seafood salad and of course I bought triple chocolate ice cream bars, cheese curds and twice baked potatoes. Enjoy shopping but eat first good stuff.

I've shopped here a few times and everytime I come, all the employees are super nice! Very personable And always say hi when they pass you. Very impressed with their deli department and their bakery. Ii really like their deli department. Prime Rib with or without potatoes and asparagus. Perfectly cooked. Just heat and eat!! And it's very reasonable compared to going out to eat. Plus they have really good lunch meat!!

Would definitely go shop here again workers were very helpful some items were pricey and most items were on sale!! They offer a lot of items that most of the bigger named stores ie: Walmart, pick n save, kroger, etc don't offer or even sell &stock on their shelves like they used to certain frozen products, dairy products those other stores stopped carrying &stocking but festival food has everything&more to choose from! Was very pleased to see that. My shopping experience was very pleasant &quiet. No huge lines or crowds of people so that gave me the chance to get what I actually needed&I got to find stuff that I thought stores didn't have anymore so all in all would for sure go back to shop.

For people with hand/wrist issues such as arthritis, the carts here are very easy to push, flattering design, light and allow for varied hand placement or ease to push with forearms. Very lightweight cart even with heavy items, turns without be much effort!!! Very, very nice staff. The take-away meals are good, not a lot of flavor though. Hands down they have the best dill dip for veggies. There is a lot of products, but it is not the largest variety or unique products to go out of way for. The to-go Chinese food is fantastic, but the grab-an-go pre portioned in cooler only come with fried rice, it is a major downfall if you use food stamps and/or are allergic to egg, but want Chinese food. If the hot bar is closed, you can't get it. The place is very clean and the lighting does not give you a headache.

I will be back I enjoyed my experience in there.😁 Update-My cashier was really nice today and a manager spoke and greeted me which was really nice but after a month of opening customer service in certain areas like the deli and bakery have not been great like there was only one person to help me and my daughter when there were many workers in the deli and she was moving so slow like without no purpose and this is the second time I came in there and the bakery/dessert lady always seems as though she has an attitude she never smiles she never engages in conversation and she just looks like she hates her job she has no customer service skills whatsoever.

One of my favorite grocery stores, this location has more selection than the one closer to where I live. I went there to get something for breakfast and they had a good variety of pre made salads. I went with the chef salad and I wasn't expecting much for a pre packaged salad but I was very impressed with it. Also if you are a fan of macaroons like me, they do sell them in the bakery section.

First time visit impressed me with how clean and well stocked the store was. Every single employee greeted me in a friendly manner. The prices are competitive with the other places in town, all who have issues with keeping their stores well stocked. The only downside is they don't carry my favorite coffee!😎 Definitely will return for another shopping trip.

My first time there. The store was clean, the prices were lower than most and the staff was very friendly. I did not like the fact that a lot of the meat had holes poked in the plastic wrap and therefore exposing the meat to God knows what. I also did not like that i had to check myself out and pack my own groceries. There were no other lines open. I have arthritis and it's not easy for me . Sorry to say my first time will probably be my last.

Always good items on sale in the weekly ad. Worth stopping by even if you're just buying those usually. Deli is large with lots of good grab and go meals. Good selection of items/brands as you can probably tell by the size of the store. On all my visits here the store has been super clean and not busy at all.

Festival food was great! I got a prime cut of prime rib for $7.75. Beat that anywhere in the states. And the bakery, good gracious! I got out with 4 meals for $42.75, dessert and all

It's only -1 star because of the insane prices. And I don't mean because of today's day and age. It's just that festival in general is much more expensive than anywhere else. Except sendik's. Which we all know is more expensive than anywhere else that you can possibly go to to get groceries. Other than that festival foods is an amazing experience every single time since the store is clean there are people that are friendly, and you can almost always find what you need. Sometimes you don't always get what you want but you always find what you need.

This is my favorite local grocery store. All the pre made food in the deli and the Chinese food are all delicious. They even have a rack of umbrellas to Barrow to run to your bags to your car if it's raining. Thank you Festival for coming to my area!

Clean and organized. Which is really important to me. Shelves were well stocked and neat. The weekly ads were at the entrance and exit. I needed help finding something as this store is new to me. It was easy to find an associate as there were many stocking. What was exceptional was that the employee took me to the item instead of saying "aisle 5". There were quite a few motorized carts. Fully charged and clean. The thing I would change is to have some at the entrance. As they were at exit lobby. The prices were pretty competitive. Great coupon items. Ahhh the coupons!! Its nice you dont have to be a member and give up all your personal info to shop. I was lost at the self check-out trying to do the coupons. An associate that was bagging helped us. Helped us on each coupon. You have 2 different bar codes to enter. It would be nice if there was note for new customers on how to do it. It was actually pretty funny and the associate was nice and laughed with us. I dont recall her name but she was due with her pregnancy! So, if you're still reading, I would like to say to you "Go shop here. It's a nice store. Clean. Helpful associates."

I have been here so much since it opened... what a wonderful experience each time! Employees are wonderful. Guests are equally as nice. Only complaint is the donut holes were a bit soggy but I think they are having issues with the wx being so warm. Love the areas to buy slices of pizza or popcorn! That is unique compared to other Festivals I have been to!

Very nice store. It just opened this week and it's great. They have an Asian bar for folks craving a bit of Chinese before their jaunt through the store. Same goes for the pizza bar. They also have a Caribou coffee bar. The store is laid out in a traditional manor. The bakery on one and and the dairy way over on the other side. Prices are comparable to others in the area.

This might be the best (and prettiest) Festival Foods I have ever been to! So many new amenities & the biggest selection! Even when other stores were sold out of stuff (i.e. holiday weekends) they still had plenty of stock left! Will definitely be back!

Came in on a $5 sushi day and to get some Caribou Coffee before our flight, very friendly staff, and value was there... the sushi was very good and I would recommend it!

It was my first visit to a festival foods store which just opened recently. I have been working for another chain for nine years owned by Kroger. Walking into festival was the highlight of my day. Everything was super clean, inviting, well laid out floor plan; and bright. Walking the entire floor, I found the biggest selection of grab and go/heat and eat meals I've ever seen. If they don't have it you don't need it. Lol lots of low prices on many items. I can't wait to go back. Make the trip and decide for yourself.

I always find that sale items are well stocked....Friday, donuts are $5.00 a dozen. (pick your donuts from the fresh donut case rather than the preboxed donuts table.) Not only can you choose the donuts you want, They are also the freshest.

Just fantastic to have a grocery store back in this building. Wonderful deli counter, pre-made meals, and butcher counter. The only downfall is that the self check out is available to everyone. I think it should be restricted to items less than 20.

First off I have to admit I am more of a Pick N Save gal but also I am happy this is no longer a vacant building because West Allis deserves better. I think this is a good addition to the City but I am not sure I will go here more than Pick N Save but maybe if I just need something quick.
