Great place to get Mexican goodies, fresh produce and grab lunch. They have a restaurant and a hot bar deli with delicious food. Vegetarian folks: there are bean-based dish options available. Also available are bean and cheese tamales, and rajas and cheese tamales.

Everything was fresh. No old or lightly bruised produce. Don't mind spending my money here. Hot food area had no organization no lines people standing everywhere but the food was delicious and I'd wait in that confusion for another plate anytime.

Rich in smells, flavors and options. I love Latin food but too often the more common chains lack in the exotic. They have a great restaurant, bakery and deli. Although produce is a bit stiff the rest is a pure gem. The service is always top notch and friendly. Not to mention if u ever want to make tamales or have some of the best beans I have ever tasted this is the place to go. Plus I like to try the vendors like the Chicharrones de Harinas or paletas. So yummy on the go.

Good place to buy Mexican and other Latino goods, plus I’ve had their tamales and other hot food in the past and it was pretty good, the only things about this store is the parking lot could be in better shape, one evening I stopped in after it had rained and as I was getting out of my car I stepped in a puddle that filled a pothole, which I did not see because it was dark out. Also, this particular location packs their meat in plastic bags, while the other stores use styrofoam. All in all, I recommend this store 👍🏼

El Day is one of my favourite place to go grocery shopping. I love the bake shop . You can also find so much variety of fresh produce specially mangoes. You can also buy tamarind and rice drink here. I highly recommend El Ray .

Excellent environment and atmosphere from one of Milwaukee's most underrated and authentic establishments. The restaurant within the store has fantastic options and traditional recipes. One of the only places visited regularly when coming back home. Best deal for fajita meat in produce section by the pound always a favorite while tailgating in parking lot before Brewers game with fresh vegetables and avocados. Homemade salsa, guacamole, bakery items, and hot bar all have fantastic options. Tamales at checkout register are also great when looking for quick and easy meal with reasonable pricing.

This Pete's fruit market is okay it is become extremely modernized from the way it was when my children were young and Pete owned it and worked it himself they play way too loud music there and their prices are much higher than the one on North Avenue I think I'll go back to the one on North Avenue because I'm coming from Brown Deer and I've gone to the one on 16th and Greenfield four years but I'm going back to the one on North Avenue I like that one much better

Wow this is got to be the biggest Mexican grocery store. Isle's & isle's of big fresh fruits & vegetables everything so neat & clean. Never saw so much pastiers at a store before. Out of all stores that I ever went shopping to in my life this store I give 100 stars for cleanliness, everything in perfect order, & any worker I talked to very super nice & very helpful. Ask were the bathrooms were they walk you to them cuz it was way on the other side, but that is a rule when you need the bathroom it always manages to be on the other end of the building always never fails. They also have a excellent restaurant inside the store with excellent food & excellent service. I love this store & wish the exact same store would move into Green Bay somewhere. Then you could say goodbye to Walmart for food.
