Large and renovated. Employees were nice. Prices were higher than a Walmart, but they had some unique items you can't get there and a new Murray's cheese department that looked interesting.

The Kroger Marketplace Is More Like An Indoor Mall Than A Store. Inside Starbucks. Not a little Starbucks. This is a full sized Starbucks as big as a stand-alone store. Bistro Murray's Cheese Starbucks Commonwealth Bank Fred Meyer Jewelers The Little Clinic The central store is as big as a Walmart Super Center with all the bells and whistles. The big difference here can be summarized in a single word "Style ". Where Walmart excels in quantity Kroger excels is Style. The look and feel of the store is such that each department could stand on its own and go toe to toe with its standalone counterpart. When I visited the store yesterday evening I wasn't feeling good so I went over to the little clinic. The people there are an absolute joy to work with. I had a little wait so being the restless type I walked round the store and explored. This is what I found. After all is said and done I had a visit with my care provider and my prescription was sent straight to the pharmacy. I was able to pick up my prescriptions and grab Some Seagrams escapes to relax when I got home. Overall I'm a happy camper. I plan to review each of the individual elements of the store and the stores inside separately but for now I'm leaving you with the The photo highlights of my visit. Meanwhile Enjoy !

Store is alright. Can mostly get what I need. The only issue I see here is that the large self checkout should be available at all times. Sometimes I have to get my groceries on Sundays and they never seem to have the large self checkout lanes open even at 1pm. Was there today and at 1pm they only had 4 regular check out lanes opened and all the small self check out lanes open, that's all.

I've been looking at the sushi for a week or two. Today I bought two packages for my wife and myself. Could not believe how good it was. We absolutely loved the sushi we purchased. It was phenomenal. I will make this an every week thing.

Really enjoy shopping here. It’s a little out of my way but it’s definitely worth it. Always very well kept and clean. I never have to worry about my items being and stock and I feel as if this Kroger has such a huge variety. The sales here are also pretty awesome!! When I went to checkout I was greeted by a lovely older woman with white hair. Needless to say she was so kind and sweet while ringing me up it kinda made my day. The bagger was also a very nice gentleman. Thank you Shelbyville Kroger keep up the awesome work!!!

Very helpful staff some signage is miss leading. I recently purchased light bulbs with signage advertising 4 light bulbs for 7.99 when I checked my receipt when I got home the light bulbs had ring up for 1699

Considering high grocerys and there not gonna get any cheaper. Kroger has always been my favorite grocery place to shop, and with there rewards card makes it my favorite gas station too.always great folks with great attitudes to help u in and out when ur days been hectic I'm going krogering.

Im sad that Kroger isn't the same as it ises to be. They rarely have the organic brands my family eat and we have to go all the way to Louisville for many things we used to he able to get here. Not to mention it seems like the minute we fond something we like, they stop carrying it. The store is clean and well managed which is a plus, and the selection of non-food items is nice. I just wish they had more consistent and healthier options for my family!

We were a few minutes past our designated time to pick up our order, but he delivered our groceries promptly to our car and was extremely friendly and helpful. Our order was filled perfectly. Great place to shop, but you would think more employees would be wearing a mask. In the time of walking into the store I had seen 3 employees walking around with no mask. This has occurred on multiple dates, but it seems to have gotten worse each time. Sad to see management is not enforcing the mask mandate on the staff while on the floor working.

I recently read a review by a guy that said he lives by this Kroger and that it's filled with smoke from them cooking. I think he must be confused. I've been in there many times all throughout the day and this has never been the case. It's always clean and pretty well organized. My only complaint would be some of their prices on things are quite a bit higher then the local Walmart.

Amanda is Absolutely amazing!!!!!! I had just moved to Shelbyville and was looking for a specific product. I asked a few associates if they could help me locate this item. A few of them were very vague. Amanda in drug and other merchandise went above and beyond to help me locate this product. She took the time from her replenishment that she was working on, scanned the barcode, and went to the dock to locate the merchandise I needed. It is hard to find great customer service like this. People are great there. Nearly always helpful. I give the customers a 7 out of 10. All employees (especially the new ones) need to have training regarding all sales, promotions, and types of sales & promotions they are. They should also be trained on how to read a receipt tap to the customer in an understandable way.

Stopped by this location while in visiting family. Laid out like the rest of the market places we have been been to so it was easy to find the items we were looking for in the store. Staff was friendly while checking out and the store was extremely clean. If your looking for a good selection of items plus a little more they have it. We would definitely recommend this location.

My absolute favorite grocery store. Staff always friendly and helpful. Always good sales. Have everything I always need for random recipes. Free samples. Will let you try deli and cheese products. Customs cakes are always on point.

Starbucks inside is awesome. The people running it are always friendly. The meat department is an actual meat department and not thawed prepackaged beef and chicken that tastes funny. I would give it five stars of only they were a 24 hour store.

I really like the fact that the young person pushing carts, saw me having a hard time putting my groceries in my truck and came to my rescue. He even took the riding cart back into the store. They offered inside the store to help me out, but I thought I'd be fine and declined. I will definitely be going back.

Tractor ride for the kids preschool was a lot of fun. Afterwords all the children were allowed to pick a pumpkin. The area is beautiful and the staff were friendly. I thought they did a great job. Afterwords I had a bight to eat at their foodstand and had a cheeseburger. Tasty!

Over all good place to shop clothes are exspinsive here unless they are marked down. And if your looking for ear drops hear they are very hard to find only had one or 2 types and was hidden in the middle of all the eye drops... Worker who helped me find them was very nice. Good customer care.

Today was my yearly Trek to Kroger stores, to buy salad dressing that cannot be obtained in my home state of South Carolina. Store was clean, moderately busy, and the employees were helpful. It was a quick in and out procedure. I recommend the salad dressing and shopping at Kroger.

(This review updated November 24, 2017, see below) (Posted November 22, 2017) The Shelbyvile, Kentucky Kroger has been undergoing a remodel for some time and here it is Thanksgiving and they're still not finished. It's now quite a bit more difficult to find the items that you need, and when you ask an employee, the item you want isn't where they told you to find it. And when you finally find the right place, they're sold out, or they don't sell that item now. From the customer's perspective, the "new improved" layout of merchandise is no improvement over the old. Furthermore, empty shelves and familiar items no longer available tend to encourage customers to shop elsewhere, especially during the busy holiday season. ************ Review update November 24, 2017. Upgraded rating to four stars. Big improvement since last I visited before Thanksgiving. There are still some things unfinished and some empty spaces on the shelves, but most of the shelves are well stocked now. Permanent signs have been installed to assist the customer in finding items and there are more staff available to assist today.

Great place for lunch believe it or not. They have side entrance for Starbucks and it leads to Asian food, salad bar, Mexican food, and deli. Plenty of seating and a microwave and all of it is right by a self checkout. I can go get what I want and be in and out much faster than a fast food restaurant.

I'm so grateful that a town like Shelbyville has such a great grocery store! The service, selection, and cleanliness is great. I am here several times a week to visit the lovely employees at the Starbucks kiosk.

I love shopping at Kroger! I get fresh, organic fruit and vegetables, and Usually great customer service except today a "yellow shirter" avoided greeting me TWICE! I would have thought it was racism - but he was black like me! Shame on him. Kroger has taught him better!

Kroger in shelbyville is a great place to shop at. Good prices, and good selection. Not 5 stars because I don’t like when you use the U-scans that you have to sit every item in the bag area. If you pull one out you have to stop and wait for a person to clear the weight alarm. Also when you scan a coupon you have to give it to an employee for them to put it in. At Walmart I just have to drop it in a hole at the end of the transaction. Makes it feel as if Kroger doesn’t trust their customers the slightest. Also causes a hassle if you have a few coupons. Other then this slight aggravation great place to shop.

Big store but it's not really set up right for proper flow in shopping. Design is poor. Find the milk, it will be a challenge if you follow the isles. You would also think that this store would carry everything but that's not the case. To much of some stuff and nothing or little of others.

I want to share my praise for the Shelbyville Kroger seafood department. After placing a special seafood order at a high end specialty grocer in Louisville, who then lost the order and told me they did not have the skills to fulfill the order (a side of salmon, skin removed...), your wonderful meat and seafood department was able to provide this on the spot while I picked up other groceries, and it saved my dinner party. Please pass along my sincere praise and thanks.

As of this post they are still in the midst of a remodel project, so finding things took a little extra time. But once the remodel is finished it'll be a five star rating, for that is a very nice Kroger.

They no longer carry dry ice! This Kroger is well organized and is now more of a department store. Along with groceries they now have clothes, shoes, a large seasonal section, and a Starbucks beside a sushi bar.

Went to Kroger to see if they offered burritos like some of the other bistros in larger stores. Well they did and the price was good $5 for each and they tasted excellent. The size was comparable to qdoba.

I'm changing my five star review of this store to a three star review for one reason and one reason alone - the self-checkout woman named NANCY. She's an old woman that I dread going through her lines because she doesn't pay ANY attention to you. Today I clicked the call cashier button like 20 times as she sat there talking to some blonde chick with three children in a basket... And when I walked up to her and said, "Excuse me can you help me?" Nancy AND the customer gave me a look as if I was the rudest person on the face of the Earth; excuse me for trying to leave and you not wanting to do your job, allowing me to leave. Thankfully a younger employee - Madeline - came and helped me very very promptly afterwards.

Justin in the clicklist area is the WONDERFUL!!! He has gone out of the way twice now to be sure that my order is taken care of pro was also very kind when I had made an error. He fixed it for me.When I first started to use the grocery service pick up it was terrible. I went to the one on Taylorsville Road by the Gene Snyder. Waited in my car for 25 minutes with no one else there. Then when I got home of course I didn't have the roast that I've requested for Sunday dinner it was a really big deal. Suddenly I started dealing with Justin at the Kroger store in Shelbyville. My husband and I have both have a small business. Each of about 30 years apeice, boy if he and I could have had a room full of Justin's we would have been very happy. Don't expect any special deals when you come here there by 3 save 3.00 deals if you compare that over a month and then you shop at Walmart for the same groceries a box of checks here is $3.69 at Walmart it is 2.79 those are standard prices at the dollar difference 3.8 miles to save $1! $1 per box of cereal 5 boxes of cereal a week $260 a year they are overpriced here Kroger and the seafood and the fresh cut Meats same me will sit out for up to 20 days

My only complaint at this store is, by Sat. afternoon the shelves are pretty much empty. They do a huge volume from Thurs thru Sat. so you'd think they would have enuf backstock for the weekend until replenishment trucks roll in on Mon.

Clicklist is a great way to be able to shop online and then pickup quickly without having to walk through the store. During the weekdays, Clicklist is fast at bringing your groceries to your car. Usually on the weekends, it takes longer.

The two entrances are very convenient to put you close to the Pharmacy or the Grocery area of the store. Besides groceries there's a Jewelry store, toys, clothing, shoes, houseware, kitchen store, and a clinic, and a bank with inside ATM. Clean restrooms and convenient parking.

It's way too big. Just to walk around the store is a mile long. Some isles run vertical that bump into another isle going horizontal. It's kinda confusing trying to find everything, then you have a huge section of clothes, shoes and home and garden stuff which seems to have more isles then the grocery isles.

I have been shopping at the Kroger in Shelbyville ky location. I live in Sulphur ky. There is a store in Lagrange ky about 20 minutes from my home. I drive 40 minutes to Shelbyville because they are always friendly. The employees greet you. Walking thru the aisles they are if I am finding what I need. The store in Lagrange ky has small aisles, less variety, the employees seem stressed. Thank you so much. Kroger values my business.
