Very busy arrived near closing. Like a black friday it was so packed. Some fruit flies in the apples, Apologies for not getting more photos, overall all its a great store especially considering it seem like it stays very busy. So it explains why it's a little cluttered, some shelves disheveled but not dirty. The restrooms were satisfactory.

Does this area not require masks? 95% of vendors, customers, and employees didn't have a mask on. It appears they're under a lot of construction and maybe that's why the feel there gives off a warehouse vibe. Highlights: big (really warehouse big feel), potential to have a huge variety, I liked their flowers :) Lowlights: almost no one had masks on. Like close to nobody. Friendly energy is kinda absent today.

Kroger is a great grocery store and more. Selection is really good and fresh foods are fantastic. Good meat and seafood ready for your next meal. Cheese shop and deli have a lot of choices to enjoy with friends and family. Top of the line brands and store brand items are worth a try.

Was in there yesterday. Had a few problems with the pharmacy, but they were taken care of. Line there was short. The store was decently stocked considering what is going on with the supply chain. Store was good and clean and employees were friendly. This was the first time I have been in this store.

Good: I have experienced customer service in this store ranging from the good side of average all the way up to stellar. The employees that are great are no doubt the best thing about this location. I appreciate the large amount of items available that are a bit healthier. The overall selection rivals that of a larger super store (squeezed into a smaller footprint). The Achilles heel at this location has always been empty shelves... always out of stock on many items... so much that I stopped shopping at this location. I recently returned and, after a few months, they have made a much better effort stocking the shelves (thank you!). 99% of the price tags are in place. Bad: Parking can be tight... easy getting in, congested getting out. Self checking out frustrating... lots of interruptions requiring the employee to keep keying in codes to override (of course, not really a big issue if you only have a few items).

This is the most crowded Kroger in Louisville. The staff is usually quite nice. Always out of stock of something you most certainly need that week. They seem to really prioritize uscan, but I usually buy 30-50 items and I’m not doing that myself at a 2x3 station. Need more registers open. The expectation at grocery stores seems to be that you will wait 10-15 in line. That needs to change. It’s getting awfully convenient to buy online elsewhere.

Yesterday, 11/09/21, at about 5:30 I was at the Germantown Square Kroger. I had run in to buy a couple of greeting cards. The store was very crowded and the lines for the checkout were very long. There was a very disheveled young woman who was, probably, under the influence of some type of illegal substance. A manager approached her and was so very kind in trying to assist this young woman. She was soft spoken and not accusatory. Her kindness needs to be acknowledged and commended.

My main reason for choosing the Goss Kroger as much as possible is because they are a "click" store. Can place an online order for everything. You just shop online and set a time to pick your order up curbside. Love it ..Hubby loves it. He is not having to shop forever in store looking for items I have put on a list. Great customer service. The staff pulls our items from the shelves.... my e-coupons come off just like if I were checking out in person. We pull up at curbside and the staff loads our order. If I have paper coupons, they take them off inside and let us know how much we owe. So great for seniors like us. Saves hours shopping through the store. Also.....every thing you order is on a list you can choose from for your next order. We LOVE it!

I visit Goss Avenue Kroger a couple of times a week. It's my Kroger. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is always busy between 4and 7pm. They have a pretty good produce department. A little small. The shoppers are very friendly also.

Definitely the best grocery within the city limits. It's not a huge space and it's usually way too crowded, but I really like the selection. It's always very clean and the workers are friendly. Good craft beer selection and growlers in the liquor store. Great cheese counter and a decent selection of natural and organic foods. I just really wish it had more space to accommodate the crowds.

Kroger is Kroger. A long time favorite store to shop at, at all locations. Was a little disappointed that this particular store didn't either carry or have in stock the only cereal I ALWAYS buy, Cheerios Cinnamon Oat Crunch!! I normally shop at my neighborhood Kroger, and they always have plenty on the shelves, shopped at this location because I'm staying with my daughter to help with my newborn grandson.

Great, clean store. Lots of helpful staff. Most items are easy to find. There are a lot of locally sourced products and the natural living sections make vegan and vegetarian food easy to find. The one downside is that the store is often crowded, no matter when you go.

I've been a customer for years. I average 6 visits a week to this location. What can I say, they carry a great variety of things and at competitive prices. The staff is always friendly. I especially deal with Rayburn in the specialty cheese shop and Miss Betty in the deli. Both very nice people that know how to give great customer service!

I love the large selection, the liquor store and the cheese shop. A good vegetarian and organic selection. The parking lot leaves much to be desired....too much of it is taken up by fuel station and the "shop online pick up in lot area " This location struggles to keep shelves stocked and it's common for them to be out of a least a few things on your list.

This location is best shopped, fairly early in the morning, during the day it gets very crowded and may cause a health risk for some, the lines tend to go down the aisle ways most of the time, this location has a bakery, a bigger deli, fresh seafood, large assortment of vegan foods, large produce selection, always have gotten fresh produce from this location and although the lines are super lengthy there are some super friendly employees, the customers on the other hand are mostly stuck up people that don't say excuse me or sorry, I would suggest leaving your cart at the end of the aisle if you're trying to have a fast trip, otherwise you was get stuff in traffic, rarely are the carts sanitized, rarely are there any clean carts at all, has a bigger selection you just have to decide it the crowd is worth it.

I'm a little biased since this is my neighborhood Kroger, but it's one of my favorites in Louisville. The store is always kept clean, staff is informative and helpful, and they always have everything we need in stock (we tend to purchase a lot of produce and meat). Would definitely recommend giving this location a try!

The cashiers were very sweet. The young African American female cashing me out was very friendly. The cashier at the service desk was also great. Both wore smiles. Now, the security guard was a different story. Older woman of color. Not sure if she just wanted to put on a hard unfriendly front because she is security or if she's just unfriendly. All in all it was a nice visit. I did not have a long wait in line and everything was easy to find.

It's a pretty typical grocery store with a decent selection but their produce section is small and the fresh meat/fish deli is is abysmal. I've only ever bought packaged meat here. There's a Kroger liquor store right next to it as well as a gas station which makes it a convenient stop.

It's a standard Kroger, has good produce and meat options. The liquor store is pretty nice. They always have some nice bourbon single barrel picks and great beers. Not the nicest Kroger I've been to but far from the worst.

This is the friendliest staff you'll ever encounter. Everyone was laughing and joking, offering to help, saying hello, and the like. I don't know if they all just got raises or something, but whatever the management is doing seems to keep them happy while at work. This isn't my home-Kroger, but I sometimes drive the extra 4 miles to get a little of that good energy!

Pretty standard for a Kroger. Unfortunately, it's missing the bulk containers that some Kroger's are adding, but it has pretty much all of what you expect. Sometimes the produce is a bit lacking (they were missing garlic a couple of times when I went there, and asking an associate didn't help) but they have a wide selection. They even had a note up about helping them improve their craft beer selection by using their corporate surveys, so that was pretty neat. They fit a lot into the space they have. Would recommend.

I was depending on their powered vehicle and everything would have been very awkward and difficult for me without their assistance. I give everyone from the manager down through the ranks a very proud 5 stars. It's always swamped at this location and they NEVER have my medication on time. Good selection but need to expand and update pharmacy? Produce needs work occasionally. The store is nice since the remodel. Place is huge! This election at this location is better than many others. My wife has discovered that when she has been at other Kroger stores in the area. I'm disappointed that they don't take Apple Pay / Android Pay at the terminals yet. Every time I go there, I get an alert on my phone saying "Android Pay accepted here!" No, it's not!

Kroger at Goss Avenue in Louisville is it good store but since other stores have closed they have not hired enough staff and the ones they hire they don't give enough hours to it's crowded there people are overworked and their Pharmacy people are especially overworked. Otherwise a good staff and friendly staff but and overworked staff. In my opinion the Kroger Corporation cares more about its Revenue margin then it's people. I will continue to go to the store just because of the people who work there.

This is my usual Kroger and it has pretty much anything you could need. They remodeled it earlier this year and now it has a larger fresh food section and cheese area. They also added beers on tap in the liquor store part and they do growler fills.

This place is always so busy since it's basically the only decent grocery store in this area. I'm pretty sure stock day is on Tuesday. I would recommend going in the middle of the week unless you want them to be out of everything you love.

This Kroger is in a prime location, but there are hardly ever carts available and baskets are never by both doors. I am thrilled about the new self-checkout kiosks, which seem to be helping with the historically insane checkout lines.

Go during sunlit hours ... it used to be a really nice place to shop but now it's a little bit shady since closing of a nereby kroger. Everyone is usually nice and helpful except the cashiers. Ah, Krogoss. I have such a love-hate relationship with this Kroger. Their ClickList service is top-notch: the people working there are really intuitive about substitutes, pick really good produce and are always friendly and helpful. The US Bank branch within the store has amazing service and great hours. The store itself is where I have problems. The cell service (I have Sprint) is really awful, so you can't use the Kroger app (which also tells you where things on your list are located...more on why that's significant in a second) to look at/check things off of your list. So if you plan to have a list handy, don't use the Kroger app: you won't even be able to see it in Krogoss. This is doubly problematic because this store's layout makes no sense. I know that every Kroger will have a slightly different layout to suit the needs of the neighborhood, but this one feels intentionally confusing. Items that are grouped together at most stores are spread out strangely here, and as you wander, forlorn and listless, you'll wonder what insane architect planned this store. Lastly, and most importantly, Krogoss is *always* out of a few critical things that I need. It's so uncanny, that my SO and I jokingly/despairingly call it the Krogoss Curse. Luckily if you use ClickList. the curse is turned in your favor, but having to physically go into the store to shop is a comically frustrating experience.

I understand that all Krogers in Lousiville have names. I call this one the Posh Kroger. It's huge and has everything you would need from jam.on toast to cooking a gourmet roast dinner. Big selection of fresh fruit and veg. Great bakery. Great selection of international cheeses and proper Mediterranean deli. A big international section for people like me with Vegemite and proper tea bags. A nice supermarket to find the nicer food things in life.

I moved to the neighborhood a couple of years ago, and the Goss Ave Kroger replaced my previous store, the Highlands Kroger. I love the Highlands Kroger, they have everything I need, and I knew where everything was. Heck, I even worked there for a couple of years! But this Hipster Kroger is within walking distance of my new house, so I decided to give it a try. As a single man in his twenties with a stable job, no kids, and a passion for long walks to Kroger to pick up a pizza from the deli, I was a bit nervous about trying my new G-town K-Rog. I grabbed my reusable bags, and began my walk to the new Kroger. I dropped off my bills to be paid by mail, a full week ahead of schedule because I am a single man who understands the importance of keeping my finances in order, and walked in through the double-doors. I've never looked back. Especially not at the Christmas bell-ringing representative, because her particular organization contributes to really negative anti-LGBTQ organizations, and as a single man who is open-minded in all regards, I do not want any part of that. I must say that I am a huuuge fan of the staff here at La Kroger del Goss. The cheese lady left her cheese stand once to help me find her products' distant cousin, cottage cheese! That's not even in her job description, but she didn't care. There was a customer in need! There's a middle-aged male cashier who is always in the midst of the most pleasant conversation of his life whenever I see him. The nerdy U-scan kid always watches my bags when I realize which item I forgot at the end of my trip. The list goes on. Every member of the staff I see shows either exemplary customer service or ninja-like focus on the task at hand. This single man who goes to the gym about 4 times a week, holds a steady job, has a close relationship with his family, is loved by the staff at Four Pegs, has no roommates, and is generally in a great place emotionally and spiritually, gives this Kroger Goss a full 5 stars. Thanks Bernard Kroger for such a great experience! You may have died 78 years ago, but your spirit lives on in Germantown! (Coincidentally, Bernard was the 5th of 10 children born to German immigrants, so his spirit should feel right at home in Germantown!)

Kroger prices, which are typically cheap. But this one has only one entrance and it's ONLY accessable from outside. So you can't just easily slip in after your shopping like you can at other locations.

Kroger is definitely the best grocery in Kentucky when weighting for the variables that the majority of people value most, like affordability, selection, customer service, location, etc. Think of KFC for best chicken, Walmart best superstore, McDonalds best burger, etc.

The customer service is always very nice. Sometimes, in other Kroger, people seem to really given up on themselves and act rude, however, that isn't the case here.
