Simply the BEST place in Louisville for Eastern European meats, sauce, bread, candy and everything in-between. I've been a customer for nearly TEN years now and love the place. German, Polish, Russian, Czech, Ukrainian - if you need a taste of Europe then this is the only Deli/store/shop in Louisville that can help you out. Don't you DARE miss out on the home made sour cream, sour dough breads or under-the-counter caviar! Need some REAL veal pierogis? what about some Jaffa cake biscuits? Or Sprats, goulash or Halva? Golden Key is the place. The ham, sausage, franks and salamis are just like back home! Well worth the trip to Beuchel! Knackwurst, Pariser, Cabinossi, kvass, Knorr spices - soups OMG - it's all here! Wall o Candy - Freezer full of dumplings - Thank you Mr Alex for the best collection of AWESOME foods, spices, drinks and everything else! If you're feeling particularily excited - you can even rent out their party room and have it catered! MAGNIFICENT! Check it out!

Fantastic European Eastern/European Deli-Bakery. Full selection of Eastern European groceries and frozen foods. Local made and imported (frozen) European rye breads. The best in a many mile radius of Louisville for this type deli.

This place is a great resource for hard to find European foods, sauces, and spices. The (assuming by accent) Russian fellow was pleasant, knowledgeable, and actually a really good conversationalist. I came in for what I referred to as "dumplings" and he laughed and said to me "No, you call them pelmeni!" so this is how I've referred to them since. He knows a bit about Vodka as well. He showed me the spice packet that they usually cook the pelmeni in, and it's fantastic. Great little shop. I will be back.
