Love coming here! This past Saturday I got 2 dozen eggs and last Saturday picked up a couple house plants from a vendor as well! Always a great atmosphere and very family (and pet) friendly!
Robert S
Awesome farmers market with a great family friendly environment.
There is a family that produces literally the best cheese you can find anywhere!!! It's Italian cheese ran by an Italian/Ukrainian husband and wife literally the best cheese I've seen anywhere hands down even in the 2 years I lived in Wisconsin. It's AMAZING!!!

One of the best FMs in the city. Big props to Barr Farms booth, who we get our CSA box from. Great meats from them as well. Other cool stuff includes fresh flowers, beer, and a blade sharpener.
Andrew
A farmers market that has so many things to offer with a variety of vendors in a fun friendly atmosphere. Local honey, organic fruits and vegetables with any type of meat to meet your needs. Plus the bonus vendors from Wiltshire Pantry, Skors bakery to local flowers and plants. Maybe you need knives or tools sharpened, some handmade soaps or hand churned butter. If need a snack a range of international selections are offered including crepes, tacos, Laotian offerings, samoas or baked goods. Great place to meet neighbors, visit and shop.
Fall apples have arrived with great selection.

The Douglas Loop Farmers Market is a great Farmers market. I wish there was a bit less of the non-agricultural displays. I do however enjoy the live music and the organic food stands like Naive and Naked Hummus. My wife and I were introduced to Kohlrabi and Garlic Scapes at this farmers market and we absolutely love them. Check it out, it's pretty nice.
Patrick Carrico
Seasonal farmers market with a wide selection of goods and produce. Eggs, cheeses, vegetables, and other locally grown or sourced items can be found. Beautiful setting in front of a historic mansion.
There's also a playground to keep the kids occupied.
Maricela McElroy
Love the farms market 😁 you can always find goodies from fresh grown vegetables, fruit, homemade jellies and jams, cheeses, seen plants, herbs to homemade soaps. …
Tim Fout
Great playground, live music, just wish dogs weren't allowed. Narrow spaces and not everyone is a dog lover.
Kevin Popeck
Even though parking can be a little tuff to find, shopping the Douglass Loop Farmers Market is really enjoyable, especially when the weather is beautiful. The vendors are always friendly and a good selection is always available.
Megan Resnik
This was amazing. Great place to grab a delicious, unique, breakfast. There could be MORE fresh produce farmers. I loved the fresh flowers
Maggie P.
Very lovely & small market. There weren't alot of vendors that served food when I was there however it was still very lively & entertaining because of the live music. Parking is perhaps the only disadvantage I'd say out of visiting but for what it's worth, I'll gladly stop by again.
Kym Townsend
My first time there
got a sweet charcuterie board
And a really nice wax candles.
Not alot of produce but it is a very cold season and November 20th
Just glad they were open at all loved my experience.

We love visiting farmer markets when we visit new towns. Louisville is blessed with MANY markets.
We loved the dog friendly venue at Douglass. Vendors were diverse, friendly and EVERYTHING was crazy fresh and tasty

I loved the farmers market here! It is so cute and well set up. The vendors are all very friendly, and there is a wide variety. There's a little park for the kids to play and sometimes they have music! Great location, parking can be difficult sometimes.
Philip Woods
Great friendly farmers market, but would benefit from more fruit and vegetables stalls. Have discovered over time that the offering of fruit and vegetables increases across the season, and have come to really love this place, visiting weekly for a range of items.
Linda Miller
I liked this farmers market, there was live music, folks hanging around on picnic blankets enjoying the morning. Farmers sell produce, there's wonderful cheese makers, bread, cookies, syrups, honey, flowers. The smells are free. I had pimento sliders.$7. There is 2. More than enough to share. Yummy. The fresh tomatoes and fresh sprouts made the sliders sing in your mouth.
Kevin Davis
Excellent selection of QUALITY, LOCALLY produced goods from fresh cut flowers to gourmet olive oils, handmade soaps, local wines, and fresh, grass fed meats and cheeses! Great fun for the whole family, (including two playgrounds) and lots of free samples! A great way to spend Saturday morning!!!

This is the best farmers market I have been to in town. This season it is starting off pretty slow but they have the best selection and quality. Also typically they have a food truck and live music. Most vendors have square so you don't need cash but I think it is appreciated.
Claudia Humphrey
Great Farmers Market. Love the cheese from the Ukrainian lady. You can get your breakfast there and plenty of space to sit and chill. Usually has some live music playing too.
Elisio Sapata
It’s a local farmers market. Fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits. You can also get farm fresh eggs (while they last), spices, even fresh home made pasta. There are some venders who have sausages and couple of venders have baked goods.
Parking can get tough, but be patient.
This market is pet friendly, and family friendly.
And every now and then there is live music.
Rakesh Gadde
This is by far my favorite farmers market. It's great for grabbing anything you could want in terms of groceries with the pretty vast number of stands. There's great music or performers throughout the summer as well. Plus there's dogs to watch!
If you have children, there's a swing set right next to some of the stands as well. On August 3rd, there was a breast feeding promotion going on and lots of funny cookies, cupcakes and hats to be sold, plus Whole Foods was giving out free water, apples, and snacks. My cousin's kids had their faces painted too.
The street parking is pretty plentiful in all directions too.
Rachel Green
Love that this place has a play area for the kids, it definitely makes shopping as a family a little easier. Knocked my rating down a star because the prices on some items are a little high. $3 a broccoli head vs $.89 at the grocery. Love the experience of getting to engage with the people that actually grew and handled my food though, so maybe thats worth a couple extra $ :D
Elizabeth M.
Great smaller farmer's market in a shady location. Kid's enjoy the playground, good selection of produce, dairy, baked goods, plants/flowers, and food. Dog friendly, plenty of parking around the market on side streets.
Liz Popp
My favorite market in Louisville! So much fun to see the new plants and produce each week! Helpful vendors!
Jessica Gaines
So many high quality products here. I now get all of my meat exclusively through Barr Farms (it's ALL pastured), which I discovered at this market. Very grateful to finally find a local farmer raising animals on pasture.
Leah Cohen
Love this place! Everyone is nice and efficient. Not too many Food vendors, but the vegetable selection is great. It’s a good place to take the kids to hear some live and local music as well.
Christina Cutler
Grat atmosphere, friendly vendors, healthy food, fun for all ages and music
businessandschool

You cannot go wrong in this loop of local heaven!!
I scoop my weekly vegetables, yearly herbs that I plant, hydrangea bushes, weekly hummus from Naked Hummus, and more.
You cannot beat the prices, kind business owners, or experience!!
Mike Meyer
Family friendly good place to bring your obedient dogs. Great locally sourced produce.. Look around before you buy produce looks the same but prices vary..
Will Roberts

My favorite farmers market. Wide range of vendors. Lovely setting shaded by mature trees. Playground and child friendly activities. Close in parking generally easy to find.
John Ostrum (Ost)
Good selection of different items. Bakery goods, breads, vegetables, herbs, wine, flowers, pasta, dairy, fudge, and more. I miss the breakfast burritos, though; they were a great value.

The best farmers market in Louisville and one of the best ways to spend a Saturday. Great food stands for lunch, great live music, and of course great local produce, baked goods , and meats.
Alex Weedon
Always the best vendors. Excellent prices given the top quality of the offerings. And the socializing is worth the trip alone. And a great play ground for the kids.
Sharon Nassar
Lots of variety. Always great music. Very friendly vendors. Great place to get food
Emily Nolan
I love this market! Lots of great vendors. Everyone brings their dogs 😻. Only flaw is a lack of parking. On a busy day you will have to hunt for a spot …
Anthony Maiorana
One of my favorite farmers markets in Louisville. My favorite basket would include: Cheese from the Ukrainian Cheese Lady, Eggs, Pretzel Rolls, Focaccia from Wiltshire, and Gnocci from the pasta people.
Doug Yeager
Nothing like truly fresh spinach that melts in your mouth, and those farm fresh eggs that have an eggshell of substance and deep colored yolks and yum. The music is fun.
Michael Prophater
So many options to buy from such wonderful people. Really enjoyed, and will definitely be back
Dolly
I enjoy walking up to the market. I have found some delicious homemade bread I love. Also some cut plants. Hoping as it warms up there will be more booths.
Lisa Johns
I guess b/c of Covid, there just not that many booths. We got tomatoes up there last weekend and they were the best ones we've had all 'summer '. Great BLT's

Amazing people and local goods. Fresh produce and lots of really fun local goods: soap, oils, vinegars, food to eat, and even dog treats!
