Reviews of Choi's Asian Food Market
Alejandra Hernandez
Love this Asian Market. I get a lot of Japanese Snacks that I can’t find in other Asian markets, like Jagarico, Nongshim Shrimp crackers, Calbee Norishio potato chips, etc
Russ Broomell
Once you know about Choi’s, you’ll keep coming back. Huge selection of asian groceries, supplies, and kitchen tools. The staff is super helpful and since they have such a great selection and competitive prices, it’s well worth the trip.
Anne Chamberlain
One of the best secrets of Lyndon. You can find ingredients for any Asian dish. Oh, and the kimbap is delicious!
Tokyo Addicted
This place is awesome. Family owned market with an astounding variety. I can find a huge array of products that I once thought were only sold in Japan and around Asia. Spices, vegetables, soup bases etc... They have my favorite miso paste too! You can find large green onion 長ネギ. Which got me excited.
Also, I have seen live BLUE CRAB here! Usually you have to mail order to get that. There is frozen whole red snapper and pompano too.
They have a small menu from which you can order take out. I recommend the bibimbap!
John Yany
Best Asian mart in Louisville. Great kimpap, too, right at the counter.
Deborah Koller
One of my favorite Asian markets. I found it when I lived in Louisville and now drive over 150 miles to shop here. They have a good selection of fresh produce, frozen & refrigerated items, dry goods, small wares & even some baked goods. The store is clean & well organized and from my observations busy enough that product is moved and rotated quickly enough that I have no concerns about getting "old" product. They have a good selection, stock things I have not found elsewhere and their prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Honey Ginger & Honey Lemon Teas I purchased on this trip (photos posted) are new Items for me & I have to say they are DELICIOUS.. I wish I bought more.
Welbon Miller
Nice spot to pick up Asian staples, kimbap, snacks, and drinks. Friendly staff and good prices.
Dalton Asberry
One of the best Asian food markets I've been to here in Louisville. Mostly Korean food, but there's some Japanese and others mixed in as well. Owners and employees are all absolutely wonderful always working hard to make sure the store is clean, stocked, and organized.
Graham Hauser
One of the best places to get specific items, I made my own ramen once and they had all the ingredients I could ask for.
Margaret “ReeReeKey” Carranza Garcia
The vast variety in this store was amazing. The staff was very helpful and ready to answer any questions we had. I will be a frequent visitor.
Bobby Conti
Very nice store. I was able to get some ramen noodles (the good kind) to make for dinner and some chopsticks. I will definitely shop here again.
Mara Cruz
My favorite asian store. They have really good things.
Michelle Cobin
Love this little market, it has a lot more variety of items than you would expect for a small store. Staff are friendly and the store is always well-organized and clean.
J. Fish
Great shop. Found a cleaver that I love! Rice bags as large as 35 pds. Numerous options on everything for cooking Thai/Japanese/Korean. Always been able to get help from staff. If an individual didn't speak fluent English they would find me someone who did. Love this place.
Ludim Valdez
Great store, friendly service and the fresh prepared foods are very good
Shida Sang (Shida)
Love this place! They have the Korean style hotdogs here! Prices are very reasonable as well! Just wish it was more spacious as it is very crowded.
Adam Korman
This place is amazing. Do you cook? They sell what you need here.
FreedomFocus Flow
This place has many sizes of kimchi which I love and it's easy to find seaweed salad, and a variety of other niche things. Plenty of room in the aisles compared to your usual Asian markets. The prices were typical, lots of variety, lots of veggies still at decent prices unlike much of the city during Covid - post Christmas. Friendly staff, nicer than usual housewares section, wheelchair accessible although it would be tight. They even have sushi rolls at the counter as you check out and they are pretty inexpensive for California rolls. Not sure if this changes from day to day though.... Nice little market, well stocked, decent prices, and convenient. One warning, however is the parking lot. Repeatedly, people got trapped in it because of how others parked and there's only one entrance so it's annoying.
Carla Dearing
My go to as I explore Asian cooking because I walk in with a list of ingredients, half of which I've never heard of, and someone always steps out of the back work area and helps me until I have everything I need. I've learned now to make time to go mid-week, when the amount of vegetables offered is about five fold. Super fresh and very affordable. I now buy vegetables I've never seen before and then go home and find a recipe for them. Thanks, Choi's, for making our lives richer!
Krysti Lewis
I'm making it a point to try every Asian food market in Louisville. Just visited Choi's for the first time on recommendation from a friend and will definitely be back! Clean, organized, friendly, and excellent selection!
James Navetta
Very nice Oriental Market. There are bigger places in Louisville with fresh seafood, but Chois has lots of variety in a smaller store. Plus, at the checkout you can always get a roll of Kim Bob!
Sarah Lyn
Rather small, but a great place nonetheless. I come here for snacks like miso soup, ramen, and cheesecake. Since it's kinda far away from my house, coming here is always a treat and I love the snacks I get.
The prices are very, very good, and the employees are all very sweet. I'm in a good mood every time I leave this store. Love it!!!!
Jim Conder
I am not familiar with Asian cusines and love to discover unknown items. Some workers are not fluent in English but they try to help. Usually ask another worker. I find a number of previously unknown items that enhance my dining experience. I enjoy taking others to the store for discover.
James Lee
They carry varieties of Asian goods. I liked the location and spacious parking area.
Sean Harrington
The best Asian grocery in town. They have so many different ramens and other ingredients for amazing dishes. The great thing is that it is much, much cheaper here than ordering online or at a different Asian grocery. I've been coming here for years and absolutely love it. They also sell fresh kimbop rolls that are fantastic.
V C
Love this place. Never too busy so you'll never feel stressed or overwhelmed (if, you know, that's what you typically tend to feel in crowded places like I do). Great selection and prices plus a friendly staff. You can also bring back your empty jars of kimchi you buy here for a little cash back, so that's pretty cool. They also usually have fresh kimbap ready at the register if that tickles your fancy as a quick snack.
Cherie Lanier
I love this Asian grocery! Been going for years! They have a great inventory of curry pastes, sauces and marinades, noodles, frozen foods like my favorite pot stickers and dim sum, snacks for my son, and Korean face masks. And they are closer than all the other Asian groceries that I trek to on occasion. Super nice owners as well ☺️🙏
Haley Hodges
I drive an hour just to visit this market. Love the wide selection of foods and how friendly the staff is.
Erica Morris
The people are sweet and kind always helpful. Great selection.
J B
One of the best Asian markets I've visited! They have a lot of stock with a great variety of fresh and packaged foods, as well as a wonderful and helpful staff. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and kind. I love it here!
Kevin K.
Good place. Popular based on the number of people there. Tightly spaced made it a bit hard to get around and parking was a challenge. They had everything we wanted and needed. So we were happy.
Shannon CJ
Always an excellent selection of Asian products. This place does have fresh produce, but it's real strength is the processed food and ingredients that you normally have to order online. Great variety of cup noodles! It also has a decent amount of sweets from several Asian countries. I love stopping by here for lunch or to stock up on emergency food for late nights at work. Very friendly staff!
Brandon Nielsen
Great selection of asian groceries, frozen, fresh, and packaged goods great selection prices are reasonable. Found masago that I have been unable to find anywhere else.
Brittany Mencotti
Such an amazing place to get Asian ingredients, snacks, etc!
I followed the other reviews and tried their fresh kimbap the well by the cash register. IT WAS DELISH! I highly recommend following the hype.
Great staff, full of everything you need, and an array of snacks and drinks.
Best Asian market around!
Lily Goben
Absolutely love this place, I've been a ton of times and would go so much more if it weren't on the other side of town for me. Snacks, instant meals, drinks, produce, cooking supplies, you name it and Choi's has it! Their snack selection rotates a bit which is fun too. Definitely the best Asian market in town.
Stephen Robin
I love Choi's Asian Food Market, they have wonderful products. Ecspecially produce, frozen, spices and sauces. The people are very kind and always helpful. It is about a 35 mile drive each way but so worth it.
Charles Lomax
Love this little store because you can get about any Asian ingredient you are looking for to make that delicious dish.
Kamryn S
This place was great!! A bit tight on the aisles but there was a lot of food I have been missing since moving to Kentucky from Southern California! I would give this place 4 stars for being so close quarters and there were a few things we could not find, but the employees were all so truely helpful and fantastic!!! Even when we were not directly talking to one of them they overheard and helped us immediately! Especially impressive considering how busy they were!!! I definitely recommend shopping here first if you are looking for asian food in Louisville.
Sharon Milton
One of our favorite places to visit and stock up. Very very reasonably priced. Such a great place to shop for asian ingredients. Very fresh veggies and wonderful selection of fresh and canned veggies, bottled sauces, noodles and much more. Small Asian food market packed with treats. Mask requirements for covid enforced. Nice parking.
Chuck Hagan
Excellent market for Asian food, especially Korean. If you have a special request they will see if they can order it. They also sell freshly prepared Kimbap and Bibimbap. Yummy.
P’off Starr
A store stocked full of amazing products. I always drive out to come here instead of the stores by my house. Premade mandu, ricecakes, breads, etc. Ingredients to make authentic Korean food, and nice staff. Kimbap is also really good although I don't like cucumber in mine I gave some to my Korean grandma and she loved it. I will be back soon!
Zippy OTB
Love this shop! Great service, tons of fresh, frozen, and pantry Asian ingredients, great quality and prices. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, as well. Stop in!
May Smith
My go to shop for canned tea, new ramen, kimchi, and kimbap!
Toni tinius-brady
Lucky to have this great little store in our city.
Akemi Boothe
I really love this store, especially the food they make in house. The veggie and the beef kimbap is amazing, i always buy two. Recently I had the custard bread ...so delicious. This store is amazing in terms of groceries offered especially gluten free soy sauce, oyster sauce, etc.
Ryan Winchester
Let's get one thing straight - I hated living in Louisville. You couldn't pay me to go back. But I'd go back for Choi's. Their produce was always top notch quality and inexpensive. Their homemade radish kimchi is the bomb with rice and scrambled eggs. And they make mean Korean sides in house.
I mainly cook Japanese food, and they had all the ingredients I ever needed. Napa, negi, daikon, mushrooms, greens, tofu, miso, taro, ginger, etc. If you're in a hotpot rush they have presliced meat just for the occasion in a freezer. I even got a second nabe there. The staff is friendly, the kimbap's up front are amazing, and it just has an atmosphere that I loved.
Their rice selection is huge, as is their wall of seaweeds and noodles. My new local asian market pales in the shadow of the giant that is Choi's. Please come to Chattanooga.
Justin Prince
This place is amazing. Not only do they offer so many hard to find ingredients for East Asian cuisine but they also carry a ton of items I didn't expect to see in a grocery store. My wife and I spent nearly 45 minutes browsing and adding stuff to our basket. Great selection of imported candies and snacks, too.
Hyunchul Lee
The biggest Asian grocery store I've seen so far in Louisville. Fantastic selection. Great service, although I'm biased because I know the owners. But even without that bias, great place. And they make their own kimbap fresh daily, which I love picking up every time I'm there.
Arink Bertrand
This place has a lot of options from most Asian countries. Reasonably priced (read: way cheaper than Kroger). Staff I’ve encountered had been friendly and informative.
Coming from the melting pot of culture and food that is NoVA I’ve decided to make a lot of Korean dishes at home, love that I can get everything I need here.
Hannah Phillips
My go to Asian Market in Louisville!
In terms of building size, it isn't the largest, but don't let that fool you! They have a wide range of goods to choose from, even fresh vegetables! (Including many varieties that you can't find at your local grocery store.)
I can't say enough praises about this place, from their clean facility, to their friendly staff, to the great opportunity to support a local business. If you're looking for something, check here first!
Hannah Fitz
I love that this grocery store is in my neighborhood. It has all of the essentials for a great meal. Seriously, get kewpie mayo and mix it with sriracha, you're welcome. Staff is always friendly. Store is always stocked full of yummy goodness.
kaylie johnson
Great selection and friendly workers. I always look forward to shopping here!
Sheila Bottjen
Staff helpful and friendly, usually has food we are looking for for better price then other Asian stores. More Korean food options.
Robert Wang
This place certainly has an abundance of Asian goods for such a packed small size grocery store. It's super clean, with friendly staff, and shall satisfy most of the foodies and chefs.
Carson Harral
I love this place, it's the only place I can find frozen galangal and markut lime leaves in Louisville. It's rather hard to find things unless you know where it is, but the prices and selection are great.
Jesse Decker
Great family-owned store with everything you could ask for in the Asian food world. I was making budae jjigae (a Korean stew) and one of the clerks helped me find all of the ingredients I would need. He even told me one brand of kimchi was better than the others for stew.
matthew hellmich
Everything about this store is wonderful. There are a variety a foods from Japan Korea to Philippines and other surrounding regions. Awesome produce section with some hard to find items such as Rombutan and sesame leaves. Extensive selection of soy sauces, vinegars, and chili paste. Also if you're a lover of instant noodles there's a wide variety here as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
zak wright
Choi's has absolutely everything you could need in an Asian market. Plenty of options for all ranges of food. They have all the cooking utensils you could need as well.
Being from a smaller city, I was blown away by just how good of a selection they had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to purchase ingredients for ANY Asian food.
Marc Garcia
By far the best Asian Market in Louisville. It might seem kind of small but their selection is incredibly large, and their staff nice and helpful. Always my go to! They have masks and face shields too in case you need some of those!
Brittany Vruwink
My husband and I LOVE this store. We both love Asian food and tend to cook different dishes often. The place has everything. Tonight we are making Dakgalbi which was one of our favorite meals in South Korea. We are so excited that we were able to find all the ingredients at this store.
E H
They have the best kimchi! Also a good selection of items. I just wish it weren't so far away!
Kevin Zencka
Awesome place to get hard to find Asian groceries. Especially good selection of Japanese food stuffs, which might be the only place in Louisville for that category. Many Asian markets in Louisville don't have much in Japanese food. Very well organized, clean, well lit, a pleasure to shop. Also, everything had shelf tags in English, very helpful as some items have no English translation on the product itself.
nkaspers1
Best place for Asian fare. From veggies, frozen, kimchi, noodles, sauces, it has it all for great prices. Well stocked, follows protocols. Make sure you get the kimbap on your way out, they'll make it fresh if they're out.
D SURI
Good Asian market, always get their home made beef Kimbab and bibimbap. The store definitely has grown a lot more since 2012. The owner, Mr.Choi is very nice, he will help and answer you have about spices or anything in the store
No Name
Always loved a visit to Choi's, employees are nice and everything is awesome
Phillip Armenta
They have a good selection of basic Asian food and foods a bit more exotic. They also sell cooking and dining utensils. If you have any questions they are very helpful and always try to answer them. They helped me several times in finding the items I need. Their prices are a bit high but many of the foods are imported.
It is not the largest Asian stores I've been to but it is one pf the best.
Olivia Troehler
It is positively amazing the variety and selection that they have here. If you want it they have it. Honestly it is the only place that sells fresh mint year round that doesn't look sad or cost an arm and a leg. And they have my favorite kimchi, so what else could you possibly want?
Doralee K
I have been here for years. They have a great selection of goods. I can find plenty of different candies and drinks. And my favorite pickled plum. Their kimbap is to die for. I love getting kimbap and a drink for a nice lunch.
Courtneys Cockpit
Far beyond what i expected. Lots of noodle options and i couldnt believe i was able to find boba!
Large selection of noodles and ramen packages. Only problem is this place isnt close enough to my house. I cant wait to come back and try more goodies
Shannon Nava
I absolutely LOVE this store! The staff are always helpful and the store is always stocked. The prepared gimbap they sell are always fresh and so delicious. Don’t miss the freezer as you walk in the door, close to the produce. My favorite frozen desserts are in there. Samenco fish cakes with sweet red bean paste and Melona ice pops. Try them, you won’t be disappointed!
Justin Pearman
Been going here for well over a decade.. Awesome place! Delicious fresh foods, and great selection of things extremely difficult to find even on Amazon or 'other'! The staff are awesome, funny, helpful, and always extremely polite. An excellent addition to both Lyndon and Louisville at large.
Yuka Williams
This store is reliable when you want some real Asian food/ingredients! Choi's is the biggest Asian supermarket that I know in Louisville area yet it's mall.
Staffs are nice. Pricing is reasonable.
The reason missing one star is just the size of the store and fresh Asian vegetables.
Medley Ferguson
Impressive fresh produce selection. Snacks, instant ramen packs and rice available in bulk. Frozen meat. Freshly made banchan (Korean side dishes). Kitchen tools and supplies. I could go on.. a must visit for anyone that enjoys Asian cuisine!
Derek Guy
Best experience I've had that uniquely represents the diversity of Louisville. The food and snacks and merchandise were authentic and diverse and cost effective. I loved the warm inviting and mysterious feel about the store. I would prefer to shop there over Kroger any day.
The Internet Kid
Everytime I come here they're so nice and friendly. They have everything I can think of and more, and I never have to worry about the quality of my purchases! I 100% recommend coming here if you want to support a local business. 🥰 …
Jenna Rodriguez
Great selection of fresh produce, meats, pantry staples, and other Asian foods. The cashier was kind and helpful in finding the one item we couldn't locate on our own. Will definitely be going again!
Adrienne Rollick
This is a lovely little place filled with a wide variety of Asian foods and beverages. There is fresh produce at good prices, frozen food, some bulk items, and of course Asian snacks including the ever popular Japanese Kit Kats! Highly recommend this store.
Network Error (404)
There house sushi here is very good and cheap. Fresh large veg sushi roll is only $2.99 or beef for $4.99. Great asian market. The only one in 10 square miles. Has what you need and more!
Johnathan Helm
Selection is always great. So many items I can't find anywhere else. Thursdays and Fridays you can get live blue crabs for around $5.99/lbs. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.
Jeremy McFarland
Before moving to Louisville, I would travel almost 2 hours just to shop at Choi’s Asian Food Market! Not only does Choi’s have a great selection of cooking ingredients and snacks, they also offer a delicious and affordable Korean lunch menu. I come by a few times each month just to pick up a kimbap or bibimbap from the lunch menu!
It’s great living in a city with such an awesome Asian food market!
Sabrina Robinson
One of the only Korean stores around. Small but has all the essentials and some. Store owners are very nice and accommodating. Prices are not bad as well but being from Atlanta definitely higher than I am used to!
julie durham
Great local Asian market. Was able to find all I needed plus some. Store was clean and Didn't smell like some do though thats because there wasn't a fresh fish market. They had much frozen seafood though. Also had good prices on produce that beat most I have seen.
Aigey
If ant of you know food and enjoy hot(fire) pot, this is a fantastic place to shop one of the best in Louisville I'd assume.
Karyn Crawford
Cozy store with tons of unique foods and produce inside. The contents of each aisle are pretty obvious, and they have better selection than any of the Kroger's I've been to. This is my go-to place for specialty ingredients.
kay Coleman
I was so happy to see this store in Linden close to my house. I drank Asian coffee 3 and 1 G 7 in most places do not carry it. Very clean store and has a variety of things I recommended to anyone looking for Asian Cuisine
J Yu
I love this little mom and pop grocery off Lyndon Ln. Convenient for all your Asian cooking needs. After I moved, I stocked up on all the essentials like soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce, rice, etc. There is always somebody who will be able to help you if you don't speak Korean, very friendly folks.
Prices here are fair, and they have a great assortment of Asian produce, sodas/ juices, coffees, tea, cooking goods, sauces and spices, snacks. They have a rewards card too if you shop there often. If you want a snack on the go, they sell kimbap by the register. Get them while they last!
Worth a visit!
Sage Marlowe
Choi's market is a nice authentic asian grocery that holds plenty of household necessities. They have delicious spices, some fun snacks, and even ice cream. They have a large assortment of ramen to try as well as fresh produce and microwavables.
Ron Ellison
Admittedly, I am no expert on Asian food. That’s why when I went to Choi’s, I asked for help selecting a bottle of Dark Soy Sauce. I’ve seen it in several recipes recently and wanted to try some. I took a bottle up to the cashier and asked if this was the good stuff. “Not so much”, was the reply. The cashier walked out from behind the counter and took me to “PEARL RIVER BRIDGE SUPERIOR DARK SOY SAUCE”. This was said to be “dakine”.
I looked for dark soy sauce at my local chain grocery store. No luck. (Not mentioning the chain name because they deserve no recognition.)
There are many positive reviews on Choi’s from folks that know way more than me. Follow their advice. My experience here was a good one. They have lots of interesting stuff and other staff members asked me if I needed help. This is a good store to browse looking for creative cooking ideas.
Noticed that COOKING AT THE COTTAGE sends their students here for ingredients for some of their classes. Always a good sign.
Kaylie Plauche
I have fond memories of this place as a kid. I was obsessed with anime, and mercilessly teased for it at school. My mom would take me here specifically so that I could browse the aisles for chips and candy and chopsticks to take home. I’m so glad that it’s still around and plays a part in the community of Lyndon 20 something years later!
Joe L
This was my first visit to this market and the selection was amazing!
The store employees were very helpful, informative and friendly.
Kroger employees could take lessons from Choi's on how to treat customers!
Miguel G
Love this place! Aside from their great products & delicious foods, you have to go early in the day to try some of their kimbab which they prepare daily! My favorite is the beef kimbab! It’s a great choice for breakfast or lunch, or even just a snack!
Andrea Whitman
Choi's Asian food market is one of a kind. I've loved this neat little store since I discovered it as a teenager. It started out just fuleing my pocky and ramune addiction but as I've grown I know that i can buy ingredients for my meals that i can't get any where else. My trip today gave me the opportunity to buy glass noodles and rice cakes which is something I've been wanting to try since I began watching Korean ASMR videos. I picked up a few other great supplies and some treats for the family too. Produce here can be much cheaper tham any other chain store and you can find stuff that places do not carry. Check them out and try new things!!!
l LOVE YAHUAH
Best Asian market in town. Mr. Choi staff is friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and doesn't smell fishy like other Asian markets. When a non-asian walks through the door, they don't side eye you or make you feel like what are you doing here. Prices are very reasonable. I always have a postive shopping experience.
Tammy Sparrow
I love this store, it has everything you need for Asian dishes. I'm so happy they are open. The people that work here are so friendly and helpful. The kimbap is amazing too.
Amber Bodily
I made Tonkatsu from scratch and this shop had Bulldog Tonkatsu sauce from Japan (It is DELICIOUS), bread crumbs(that I will use next time since I had already bought some from Kroger), and good prices on cabbage. (But I already had some). They have a great selection and are very friendly! I wasn't sure which tonkatsu sauce to get and one of the ladies working there was very friendly and told me which one was the most popular. I will be back!
Koto Arikawa
I feel that Choi's is the best Asian grocery in town. They have all the good name brands of sauces, vinegars, soya, oils, frozen , dry and packaged goods, and packaged meals. So, you can make tasty frozen ramen from a package, or buy all the ingredients and make it from scratch. Their frozen seafood section is amazing! I have even seen live crabs! They always have crisp fresh vegetables and roots--even ginnan nuts! They also have house wares of different prices to fit everyone's budget. You can even order a bulkogi(bulgogi) to be made for you! The staff are always wonderful! They are so helpful, even when you can't remember your recipe, or have no idea what to make for dinner. As a plus, near the door are flyers for different events, places, and services that are interesting to Asians and those who love Asia. I see people of all ethnicities and ages. It is a very welcoming place.
Tyrus Christiana
I think this is my favorite Asian grocery in Louisville. Great selection, kind staff and yummy fresh foods. They are also knowledgeable about the traditional medicine products they carry.
Truthjones
I drive 2 hours to come to Mr. Choi’s..they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and very helpful! Their selection is fantastic, and the store is very clean and organized! I wish I could buy the whole store! ❤️❤️ I can’t wait to go back!
carrie dodd
It was my first time going to an Asian Mart and it had in my opinion a lot of variety and had sone really good flavors in ramen and japanese sweets. Also you can buy mang tomas here, which is an amazing all around sauce for all meats practically😍😍 …
Greg Ackerson
Hidden gem, store is much bigger than it looks from the outside.
Gina Greene
I come to Choi’s to buy my lumpia wraps. One time I was craving lumpia but was out of wraps. I called to see if the store was open and they were set to close in five minutes, but they told me if I hurry they would wait for me. Definitely above and beyond. Great customer service & good prices.
crzyivan87
Choi's is my go-to place when cooking any Southeast Asian or Chinese dishes. They have frozen dumplings, oriental vegetables, and every spice, pepper, or sauce that you may need. They're friendly and willing to help.
Herlina Schmitt
Very clean store with neat set up, good variety of Asian groceries and whatnot. Owner was very friendly. Have been coming here quite regularly whenever we're visiting Louisville.
Bill Kehrwald
If you're looking for a difficult to find ingredient from a multitude of Asian cuisines, Choi's should be your first stop. Super nice staff and a great produce selection as well.
Jerome Leng
Primarily Korean products but they do have stuff from Southeast Asia which is where I am from. They have all the sauces that you can't get at your regular grocery store. Great place for Asian grocery shopping.
Henry “Hank” Zimmerman
Choi’s is incredible. Super expansive collection of imported products, fresh produce, etc. Really has everything you need from an Asian foods market. The staff is also friendly and helpful.
Lloyd
This place has a huge selection of imported goods!!
David Deegan
Great operation, tons of range, very little English, and tons of exposure to unique ingredients. Every one needs to buy and try one unique product a week from this awesome east asian grocer!
Bethany
Great selection, especially the noodle soups, snacks & boba teas. Gets busy on the weekend, line can get long. Had everything we needed, will definitely be back soon.
Grant Marksberry
Good selection. Good prices, helpful staff.
Samantha Holloway
This is the only place I can find red bean ice cream & green tea ice cream! They also have a great selection of Asian snacks like roasted seaweed & shrimp chips, along with anything else you need to cook your favorite Asian dishes.
Elana Klovis
This store is always friendly and has a good selection of well rotated stock.
Thea Schooling
Although not very clean they always have their shelves stacked with Asia food from mostly South Korea as the employees and I think owners are South Korean. I had the kimbap by the counter and was very yummy reminded me of South Korea!
Shea Clarey
