Excellent experience. Very clean bathrooms, quick checkouts even when lines are long. This is worth the stop. make it a priority. Something for everyone. Nice selection and great gifts for all. I loved this place. Even if you don't need gas, you need to see this place.There were lines of gas pumps and the restrooms were spotless, but the food was fantastic!! So much to choose from but we selected the chopped brisket sandwich was absolutely phenomenal, the meat was perfectly smoked with just the right amount of fat and the bbq sauce was delicious. My buddy selected the pulled pork sandwich it was great 👍🏽

Restrooms are very clean and all stalls are very private, brisket sandwiches are excellent, several options for sandwiches, fruit cups, desserts. Bakery offers a wide array of sweet treats and muffins. Beef Jerry bar is awesome. A wall of fountain drinks and prices are extremely reasonable. Plentiful parking and gas pumps. Several employees walking around sweeping the floors. A travel stop must!

They have quite the operation going on here! I couldn't tell you how many employees I saw working hard to keep that place clean and running smoothly. Everywhere you look there are people (I went on a busy Monday in the summertime), but the bathrooms are immaculate, not to mention PRIVATE (stalls extend to the floor so you can't see the 👣of the person next to you). We grabbed brisket sandwiches and chips. The sandwiches were a bit pricier than a fast food sandwich but taste higher quality. Chips were crunchy and delicious. Loved the signs outdoors about picking up after your pets. There were many trucks towing trailers and plenty of space for all of them. Lots of gas pumps too! I'd definitely make this a stop on my next trip.

Wow! Would love one of these along every road trip route! They’ve got everything and it’s done so well. Beautiful , clean, huge private restroom stalls, coffee bar, food of all kinds and more gas pumps than I could count. Looked like a wonderful company to work for too! I’d encourage my college students to apply.

Absolute must see. Of course, there will be a crowd as this is a sight to see! Plenty of pumps. Plenty of parking, only thing to note is the roundabouts can be confusing for those uneducated drivers. Excellent bathrooms - usually always an employee there keeping it award winning clean. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY THE CARAMELIZED PECANS!!!! Beef jerky was great too, plenty of apparel and Kentucky state souvenirs.

This is such a cool place. It's like half store, half restaurant with a bonus gas station. We appreciated the individual bathroom stalls and the variety of food choices. The employees were very friendly. We would love to stop again when we're not tight on time.

A must stop in every time!!! A gas station but so much more! Can’t get out of the store without spending at least a $100 and that doesn’t include gas! Walked out with multiple flavors of jerky and Bucky nuggets. Also a few tumblers and bbq sauce. Topped it off with brisket sandwich and cinnamon pretzels!!! Restrooms are always so well kept!!! Love it!

Awesome gas station. "World famous" bathrooms. 10 out of 10 would POOP here again!!!! They have pretty much everything. They had had smoked brisket BBQ. Homemade fudge. Homemade jerky. They had homemade tacos everything. They have probably a hundred gas pumps. They have Buc- EE's branded EVERYTHING. Clothing, candy, home goods, food, toys.... Everything. Probably the nicest gas station I've ever been too.

If you're unable to Disney, just convince your family that Mickey's a beaver and then bring them here. Part Tractor Supply and part Cracker Barrel, it's also the most expansive selection of convenience foods under one roof. The service was nothing special, on par with a nice gas station. Walking in to the clean and spacious restrooms, local artwork on the walls is an authentic touch amid the mass-produced merch outside, which shows what's possible when you have a great logo and mascot.

It definitely lived up to the hype!!! Before we knew it, a bathroom break turned into an hour stop. The sliced Brisket sandwich was delicious, as was the potato salad. I will definitely be stopping at all of the other ones we pass on our journeys.

Wonderful place, but way too many people inside to enjoy being able to look at merchandise comfortably! They have a lot of nice stuff to choose from, almost to the point of being overwhelming! There are a huge amount of gas pumps! I’ve never seen such a large place! It was nice to stop at once, but not sure I’d go again!

EVERYONE WAS SO NICE AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL! It was insane! Nothing but big smiles! The place was PACKED to the ceiling too. What an incredible staff that works here being able to manage all those people! I got myself some loot of course! I don’t make a stop without getting one thing. Slowly decorating my house with Buccee’s. The last picture on this post is actually a painting I am working on currently. I hope you have a wonderful experience just like us Rainbow Seekers all did.

I was so overwhelmed with all the fun stuff at this place that I didn't get any other images. This specific location had the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Each stall had hand sanitizer, toilet seat cleaner and like 8 rolls of toilet paper. It was amazing! We had the pulled pork sandwich, club sandwich, yogurt parfait, tots and homemade chips. The only complaint I had was that the club had so much meat and sauce on it that it was very hard to eat. But the flavors were on point with everything else. Fun atmosphere, all of the staff we ran into was pleasant and there were a ton of good options for food and drink.

This place is insane! My kids said it's the Ikea of gas stations. There are a crazy amount of gas pumps, tons of stuff inside to look at and purchase, from food and snacks, coffee, drinks, souvenirs,and whatever else you can think of. Besides that the bathrooms are HUGE and incredibly CLEAN!! Probably the cleanest bathroom I've ever been in at any gas station or store. It was such a cool stop we spent 45 minutes in there and bought some amazing jerky. If you're craving something for your trip, they have it!!! So, if you see a Buc-ee's, Stop ! Just do it!! Everyone else is stopping!! There's a reason why. You'll be glad you did.

This place was totally insane, as it should be. Packed to the brim with awe-struck travelers, tired husbands, lost children… it was glorious. “FRESH BRISKET ON THE BOARD” could be heard through the crowd like some sort of battle cry. This is not a gas station, it’s a social experiment - and it’s working. It’s all working.

Wow I can't believe I'm saying a gas station is awesome. But this place was Awesome! The bathrooms, pump area, everything was super clean. It's not just a gas station it's an experience. They have everything under the sun. Food, snacks, clothes, barbeque grills, knives etc. Not just cheap junk found at most gas stations. You need a new pair of Oakley's or a Bear & Sons pocket knife, or Tacos, brisket sandwich they got you. I had to try the sliced brisket sandwich and it was wonderful. Next time I'm traveling I'll check to see if there is a Buc-ee's along my route so I can save my appetite.

The gas price was surprisingly lower than the other gas prices. It was crazy seeing all those gas stations lined up there. The shop was one of the biggest I have seen at a gas station. I didn't have time to browse for too long in there because of time constraints. Next time I visit, I'll buy a souvenir.

This place was wild! It was a busy Saturday afternoon when we went and it was packed. The people energy in there was electric. Everyone was happy to be there. I’ve never been to a gas station like this. Gas, clothing, camping gear, home decor. And the pulled pork BBQ sandwich was soooo good. We were there for an hour looking around and will be back!

I absolutely loved this place! Would stop here anytime while traveling. So much to see and the food selection is incredible. Bathrooms are huge and very clean. The store is well stocked with just about any kind of merch you could want. Can't wait to visit again.

This place was absolutely packed...another customer told me that it's like this in everyone she's been to!! There were lines of gas pumps and the restrooms were spotless, but the food was fantastic!! So much to choose from but we selected the chopped brisket sandwich was absolutely phenomenal, the meat was perfectly smoked with just the right amount of fat and the bbq sauce was delicious. The Mrs selected the pulled pork sandwich it was also really good! We also had to try a bag of the Beaver Nuggets and the Cinnamon Roll!!

If you’re traveling on I-75 outside of Lexington, Buc-ee’s Richmond is a stop you need to make. It’s a gas station but it is also an experience. 100 pumps, huge and clean restrooms. Souvenirs, home decor, a beef jerky bar, candy, fudge, slushies, baked goods, and food. The brisket is delicious, tender and perfectly sauced. Far better than many restaurants and under $10.

This was my first ever visit to a Buc-ees. It was a unique experience. I was shocked to see the sheer size, and contents of this mega store. It was super crowded, but ran very efficiently. The wait times were minimal. The store was well organized and very clean. I grabbed a brisket sandwich snd a water to go. The food was prepared well and very tasty. You will not be disappointed. I will certainly be a patron in the future during my road trips. Well worth the visit.

This place is very cool. It's a food destination. Pulled pork, brisket, sausage on a stick, in house Jerky, and a variety of baked goods. An ocean of gas pumps.... it was busy at 10am and it was just as busy at 1am.

Huge place, absolutely monstrous. They have just about anything you may need for a road trip, camping trip, lunch, dinner, tinder hookup, you may even be able start the process of building a new homestead here. Bathrooms are clean and oddly small for a place with 100+ gas pumps. Lots of drink options, food options, snack options, clothing options. Parking lot could use a little of directions but other than that, it's an interesting place.

What a hoot! It's a destination location, Wal Mart, restaurant, truck stop and a Sonic, all rolled into one! It had something like 250+ gas pumps! Inside, I felt like I needed a tour guide. I'm glad we had a friend who could explain it all, it was that overwhelming, especially at the end of a long day of driving. It had more soda and slurpee choices than I've ever seen in one place. Diabeetus intensifies!!!! Then, the wall of beef jerkey. Oh. My. Death by meat snu-snu. Wow! I loved the middle section of nonstop, ready BBQ sandwiches of all kinds of options. Yum! Then, the other side was filled with way too many fun things for the house, and more. I loved the patriotic vibes. And if you are lucky, you might see a beaver walking around. ;) We need these across the country!!!

Unbelievable over the top experience getting gas at one of-it seems like hundreds-of spots and then walking in a sprawling complex of gifts clothes candles foods and an amazing brisket barbecue station. You won't be disappointed, add this to your trip itinerary.

My son kept talking about Buc-ee's, and as a surprise we decided to stop at the one in Richmond, KY. Wow. I was amazed that there were at least 100 gas lines. I couldn't believe how many people were using carts, and when I entered Buc-ee's it made sense. There are so many reasons to purchase products. This place is huge, and there is just about everything one can imagine to purchase. We taste tested Jerky and Fudge, and found both to be delicious. We had fun as we walked through the store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back in the near future.

If you’re going to get gas you might as well stop at bucees. Great restrooms, a ton of food to chose from (salads to Jerky to brisket sandwiches), plus stretch your legs and look around for a hat, swimsuit or a ton of other stuff! I love this place!

Stop in Hamilton, KY with my 3 year old grandson and he had fun getting to see Buc-ee! This place is awesome! Wish they had a website that you were able to go to for each store to buy items online that you found in the store. I fell in love with a purse there and didn't get it. I wish I would have since they don't have a website for each store.

Buc-ee’s exceeded my expectations as a travel stop!!! Honestly, I wish there were more of these across the USA! At Buc-ee’s, you can find anything from warm candied pecans to a rhinestone crested steer skull. I especially appreciated the Buc-ee’s Christmas pajamas and the truck full of stuffed Santa Buck-ee plushies parked in the store! This location had a very efficient traffic flow and parking situation. The store seemed a bit more cramped than the Georgia location, but the selection was still plentiful and the lines were short. I tried the candied pecans this time and they were warm and delightful!

I had heard about Buc-ee's via social media but never been to one. Got a chance to do so traveling from Indy to Gatlinburg. It did NOT disappoint. Tons of pumps and don't have to wait to get gas. Restrooms are clean and spacious. A lot of cool things to browse. The food is great. Definitely a good alternative to fast food on the road. Pre-made sandwiches are great. Wife ordered a wrap and chicken straps for kids...very good. Beaver chips and beaver nuggets are amazing...a must try! Also got the Carmel pretzels...very good. Carve out 30 minutes to 45 minutes to take it all in. Definitely an experience and we'll worth the stop.

Never been to any of the other locations, so it was our first time with them just opening up this location and it was everything you could imagine and more for a gas station ⛽ and convenience store 🏪. The staff was helpful and kind...they kept the lines moving. There was so much to offer besides gas of course 😅 ...jerky, fresh bakery items 🍪🍩, coffee station, merch, etc We had the brisket sandwiches and chips 👌🏽❤️

FOOD ,beef brisket,pork brisket, all kinds and more deserts and things in the store inside . It's a boggle that's fun my son and I had a sliced beef brisket , oh goodness absolutely great .from shelbyville and back cost me about 80$ in gas . Oh WOW this place is huge! It's the size of two Walmart Neighborhood Markets together! Don't forget to get atleast a t-shirt and a bag of beaver nuggets! Get a bucces soda like their very own fountain drinks the Orange dreamsicle or the Blue creme or even the Pineapple soda! If your on the interstate and run across this I highly recommend you to stop by!

Only suggestion I would make would be smaller portion sandwiches like sliders for the kids that want their own. And also the ability to customize sandwiches because we asked to a burrito with no Mayo and were told no. Other than that, no complaints.

Enormous gas station, food court, shopping, snacks etc. lots of etc. must have at least 100 gas pumps. Place was packed. BBQ Brisket and Turkey sandwiches were actually very tasty. Mustard potato salad was what was expected. Fresh and tasty. Homemade potato chips and a variety of fudge. Banana cream fudge was tasty. Fountain drinks galore. I figure around 30. Helpful staff. They know how to move the people.

Had to see what all the hubbub was about. Bub. Huge. Expansive. Almost overwhelmingly too large. Coming from a city of around 50,000 people, I expected it to be light on visitors. But It wasn't. It was like walking into a very popular Walmart or Target on a Friday night. On a WEDNESDAY afternoon. More food than you can shake a stick at and more pumps for gas. JEEZ this place is huge. Humongous!!!!!!! Lived up to the billing...all of it. -30 cents lower on the gas than anywhere in Richmond and or the Lexington area. You can bet we will be back. Welcome to Kentucky Buc-ee's👍

I say 3 stars, but my boyfriend says 4. It was busy, but the lines moved quickly. My only quarrel with the place is that they don’t set out extra sauces for your sandwiches and don’t sell feminine products. You would think a place that sells slabs of granite and clothing would also have tampons

This is THE premier rest stop. It’s incredibly convenient to get in and out of from the interstate. There are dozens of fueling stations. The shop is incredibly larger with and endless amount of options. It was extraordinary. If you’re traveling on I-75 this is a must stop. I’ll be back each time I travel.

I loved every detail of my first experience at Buccees! If I had more money I would have bought lots of things! After walking around for a while we decided to get the BBQ Brisket sandwich. It was perfection!!! It was a teeny bit spicy, but not too much. Ideally infused with a sweetness that brought this sandwich up to perfection. Hopefully, next time I will have to spend a little more time shopping. The staff was great. The lady at the check out was so nice. As I was there I said, OH I forgot napkins. She reached under the counter and pulled some out. My meal was fantastic and I WILL be back!

Beautiful break after a long drive. Need a better entrance and exit! Round about to get back on the road. Not lit up good enough! We we're a little lost exiting! About 120 gas pumps, no wait, good gas prices, well better than others, $3.15! The fueling area is well lit up. A good camera system at the register also. There were about 100 employees in the store, all were working, and looked happy! Very polite! The store is beautiful, and clean. We need a whole day to explore it. Didn't have too much time! We'll be back! Prices in the store were affordable also! I would of gave it a 5 star but the entrance and exit was an issue, for us! Can't miss the exit for it, plenty of billboards before you get there!

Wow is an understatement! We were headed back home from our vacation and decided to stop here. They literally have everything you need/want! The prices are very reasonable and actually cheaper than an average gas station. Although it was extremely packed it was totally worth visiting!! Will definitely be back!

If you've never been to a Bucees location, it's a must stop to fuel up and take a break. They're primarily out of Texas and have extended locations in the South. Bathrooms are spotless, hot and fresh beef BBQ sandwiches along with home made jerky to bakery goods are just the start. It's big inside as a typical dept store. Everything from clothing and knick knacks to bucees brand merchandise.

Seriously this place has the absolute best BBQ brisket! Purchased two sandwiches and they were so perfect that we bought a pound to take home. Fun store with lots of unique, brand name products. Definitely need more ice cream selection as the only option is dippin’ dots, though, they did have several flavors to choose from. If it were closer I would probably get BBQ a couple time a week! If you’re a brisket fan you will not be disappointed.

Place was packed for good reason. Prices are super competitive. Chicken fajita taco was fantastic, and so was the iced coffee. Employees were super kind to everyone who walked in and out of the door. This place is incredible! My first time to visit was last week in Richmond, Ky. Absolutely loved the sliced brisket sandwich - melts in your mouth, it’s so tender. On my return trip back home, I made it a point to stop and gas up, go potty and grab the brisket sandwich for my husband back home in Michigan. He could not believe how good the sandwich was! We are all headed back that way over thanksgiving and it’s on our must stop at list!! Impressive place

My mind was blown. Jerky, coffee and snacks. Wow. Restrooms were European style which is awesome! Also got a 3 year old son. Dude was able to pee in the urinal on his own. Huge win as a parent. Definitely pottied like a rock star! Lol.

What can I say...it's Buc-ees!!!! Everything at this newly opened Buc-ee's was top notch. The delicious pulled pork, absolutely perfect and I mean perfect, mustard potato salad, the banana pudding and of course the beaver nuggets. It's all at Buc-ee's and it's awesome!! I almost forgot the staff. Just amazing. They are so busy and running around cleaning, stocking and organizing but are always willing to help and answer questions. Plan to spend some time there as it will be busy and there's so much to see. We drove 250 miles to visit Buc-ee's and we weren't disappointed!!!! Super easy 5 ⭐

Visited this new location this past weekend. For the amount of people shopping, the staff here did a fantastic job. I've been to several Buc-ee's locations in Texas and they're usually busy as well but this one was exceptionally busy due to the grand opening. The crew here was outstanding making sure things were in stock, on the shelves, and that the store and restrooms were clean. Several employees greeted us walking through the front door and everyone working here and helping out from other Buc-ee's locations were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome. Felt like I was legitimately in Texas based on our visits and experiences at the locations near the DFW. Brisket was excellent and I found plenty of items I ended up buying. For as busy as it was, the lines went quickly and smoothly while we were there. Highly recommended. Cant wait to make another 6 hour drive from Pittsburgh to return. Keep up the great work, everyone at the Richmond store. Yall are doing a great job. Thanks for making our initial visit so much fun! Only thing I must say is based on what I know from upper management and the Texas locations we frequent, the employees who make this company what it is need to be treated much better and with more respect. At minimum they should get a 30 minute break to eat, take a moment to relax, and recharge for the remainder of their shifts to make things just a little bit better for them and everyone around. Yes, I know Buc-ee's pays well but this is a convenience store... not a boot camp.

Buc-ee's in Richmond, KY is a great place to go for gas (they have 100+ pumps!!), gifts, and barbecue briscut and pulled pork sandwiches! We were on sensory overload on our first visit because they have so many things to check out! We've decided it's a destination spot on our way back home from travels south or east.

The whole place is incredible! Wow! We counted the gas pumps, there was 120.... inside the store it was clean,(very clean). For food you could choose from several options, all of which looked really good. Everything was ready to go. There was no wait line. There customer service was awesome too. My husband and I stopped here for the “experience” I really enjoyed looking at all the home decor they had and every unique thing they had to offer. Would loved to have stayed longer however, we had our 2 year old with us and had to carry him the entire time because they don’t have carts that children can sit in. It gets pretty hard packing a 30 pound toddler around with you. Probably would have purchased more if I didn’t hurry and leave due to the fact I was carrying him and it limited my ability to really look around. If you plan on stopping here with toddlers be prepared because they do not have shopping buggies for your kiddos to sit in.

We stopped in a Buc-ee’s for the first time in Richmond,KY on our way from Ohio to Alabama. It just opened in April of this year. The restrooms were spotless. The Brisket sandwiches are fantastic. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We only had one hour to spend due to our travel schedule, but could have spent more time. We didn’t see it all.

Huge place with about a 100 gas pumps and the lowest gas price I saw along I-75 from Michigan to North Carolina. Had the chopped brisket sandwich and it was great. Tried some of the flavored jerky but it didn’t really appeal to me and got stuck between my teeth. Very crowded as it is still new but it is a fun stop on a long road trip

Wanted to see what all the fuss was with this chain of stores....well I enjoyed my visit there. The shredded brisket sandwich was unbelievable!!!! We had no idea what this place was, but we kept seeing all the signs in our travels to FL from MI. We decided to stop and see what all the fuss is about. Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure I've ever seen a place like this before. Massive. They probably had a quarter-mile long set of fuel pumps (at least), and the place was packed. I now know why. Gas was CHEAP compared to surrounding areas ($2.47 as of this posting). Walking in, it looked like Walmart on Black Friday. There was a huge line for the women's bathroom, but it went very fast. My wife said they had 2 employees in the bathroom playing traffic cop with the stalls. Both men's and women's restrooms appeared very clean. We then picked up some brisket sandwiches, having seen the signs advertising them. It wasn't cheap, but It might have been the best brisket sandwich I ever had. Delicious. After looking this place up afterwards and saw their Texas roots, I understand why it was so good. Highly recommend this place!

I love stopping here but I am so disappointed! We used to Get several boxes of the sample fudge. They would be 1" squares of all the different fudges in one Box. We used to get a bunch of them to give out to all of our friends and family. Nowadays you can get fudge anywhere and that just made them completely different. It is very good fudge.

Follow me to see what's next! Stopped by the famous Buc-ee's on a recent road trip through Kentucky. Holy cheese! It was crazy! There was a long long of cars snaking their way into the facility but since they must have 200 gas pumps we didn't have to wait to fill up. It was "black Friday at Walmart" crowded inside. We made our way straight to the clean and large (no wait!) Restrooms and then explored the store. Thirsty? They have that covered. Snaky? So many options! Need something sweet? Fudge and a bakery counter can solve that. Want to grab something for later? Check out the jerky. Hangry? Grab fresh brisket sandwiches and housemade chips. We did get sliced brisket sandwiches. They were very fresh! And so good! I ate it so fast I forgot to get a photo. Stop by, be patient, grab a sandwich or snack. Definitely worth the stop. ⬇️ If you found this review helpful, hit the 👍

I ordered 2 pieces of every flavor of jerky they have and if you have been there you know that there are a lot of them. This guy took the time to weigh measure and label each individual flavor all with a smile and wonderful attitude! I hope his Boss recognizes what a valuable employee he is!

Phenomenal place, just way to busy to take everything in. Imagine all the people at Disney Land smashed into a building to, just understand before you go into Bucees it's very busy and there's thousand of people just like yourself wanting to see a Texas style icon in action. The store has everything you could imagine, clothes or food you'll probably find it there. The store is very clean on the inside and out. Yes the bathrooms our as clean as they say. Long story short, believe the hype because Bucees is the ultimate gas station hybrid store. I'm glad the people of Kentucky and surrounding states can now experience what the people of Texas have since 1982.

Neat place with all kinds of products to buy and good foods and snacks. This particular Bucees has had the best tasting hot food out of all of them that we've visited. I know all locations pretty much have the same foods, but this one was just better in my opinion.

My husband and I stopped to visit as we had never been to a Buc-ees before, and honestly, I was really underwhelmed. Pros: -An awesome selection of food. We got several different sandwiches to try and different snacks, and I really liked that. -Gas at that time was like 50 cents to a dollar cheaper than other locations. -I liked their camping/travel supplies -Everything was really clean and the staff was really nice. Cons: -I did not think their homegoods selection was better than anything you'd see at a Cracker Barrel. -It is SO crowded that you feel like you can't breathe. -We parked, walked the length of the store, and when we got back to the register on our side of the store-- there is no drink machines other than the coolers on the side of the store that's another mile away and so chaotically busy that I just didn't get a drink. -I did not think their snack/drink selection was varied at all. Very basic. Overall, I would stop in one as a quick pump of gas and maybe to get a bite to eat-- but it's not something I would go out of my way to return to.

Bathrooms are very clean. There are a lot of fuel pumps. Their sandwiches are not worth the money. We have tried fried chicken, brisket, cold lunch meat and beef burrito. They all tasted highly processed and are expensive. Coffee is good.

This is the best rest area to go to when your on a long drive. It may be a bit overwhelming with the amount of stuff but you'll find whatever you need for your drive here. It's super clean and everyone is super friendly even at 2 am. Also the bathrooms are amazing, never commented on bathrooms before on here but they are so clean and nice.

I was so excited to finally visit a Buc-ee’s! We stopped here the week of Thanksgiving on our trip from Indiana to Tennessee. It wasn’t as busy on the way down, but on the way up, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, it was SLAMMED! But, because of all of gas pumps, how many fast and friendly employees there were, and all of the bathrooms stalls, any line there was moving very quickly! The only thing that I thought was kinda weird was that the baby changing tables didn’t have any straps on them? Not sure if that’s by design though. Overall it’s a great place to take a break while on a road trip!

Nice people, noisy, high prices. Lots of gas pumps and clean bathrooms, as advertised. The food's good but there's no place to eat it, not even benches or picnic tables. I guess for the authentic Buc-ee's experience you could eat like a beaver, sitting on the ground. Worth a stop if you're driving by, but don't make a special trip unless you're really into jerky.

This place is everything I love about America, and more! Where to start. First, the fudge is amazing. I don’t normally like fudge, but theirs is perfect. The texture alone is exactly what fudge should be. Second, when you pull up you know this is no ordinary gas station. The number of pumps is overwhelming. But that means little to no wait time at any pump. Three, bathrooms are large and clean. Fourth, ginormous selection of coffee, energy drinks, adult beverages, and every road trip snack you could imagine. Fifth, I love the selection of T-shirts and HomeGoods. They have lots of Kentucky paraphernalia to display at home, candles, high quality outdoor goods, and Grunt Style T-shirts. The Buc’cees merchandise is also expansive with something for just about everyone. Sixth, their fresh food selection was very good. We had the fried chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. My wife compared the chicken sandwich to Chick-fil-A‘s chicken sandwich, which I thought was a stretch, but it was very good. Seven, the nuts were out of this world. I couldn’t stop eating them. Eighth, didn’t get to try the ethanol free gas, but I’m very excited to.

This location is busy. It has around 100 gas pumps. Large parking, good BBQ sandwiches, a variety of beef jerky flavors, fudge, Coffee area, and so much more. Even though this place was very busy, we were able to stop, get our gasoline and road snacks and back on the road in an acceptable amount of time. This location is still relatively new, so it almost felt like an amusement park instead of a stop along our travel. The gas pump area had excellent lighting, and enough area to move around while fueling. All the staff were very busy, but were still polite enough to help if needed. The restrooms were clean, probably cleanest on Interstate 75.

My first time at a Buc-ee's. Staff is very friendly! Plenty of gas pumps! You can grab lunch there and lots of snacks. A big variety of hot sandwiches! They also have souvenirs. It's a huge convenient store with lots of cool stuff!

This is a must stop on any road trip heading through Kentucky. There are tons of fuel pumps, so we didn’t have to wait at all. Plus, gas was cheaper than other places in the area. They also have additional gas options that are harder to find, such as Ethanol-free. The bathrooms are always spotless, and the doors only have a small 12” or so gap at the bottom, meaning no huge gaps on the side or short doors for people to stare at you through! Even when it is super busy the women’s restroom has only had at most a 2-3 minute wait for a stall. There are plenty of food options if you are looking for a little snack or a full meal. They make BBQ fresh all day long, along with sandwiches, baked goods, chips, fudge, etc. The apple pie is especially good! They also have walls full of Buc-ee’s brand jerky, nuts, candies, and more. Along with items from name brands. Everything is reasonably priced, including all of their apparel & home goods merchandise. We make it a point to get a shirt at each new Buc-ee’s we visit, and our collection is slowly growing. I’m hoping one day we will have one closer to us in the Mitten!

Always impressed with past stops at a Buc Cees, but today it was not up to usual standards. Opened three bathroom stalls before finding a clean one. Turkey barbecue was tough and clerk was not real sweet or smiley even after spending close to a hundred dollars. I’m sure next time will be different. Thanks for letting me rant.

Enjoyed my short stop (because of the endless row of fuel pumps !) there are always plenty of pumps available ! Diesel at every pump , plenty of room to pull a horse trailer into , either side too . Not to mention the price , Diesel $3.81 🤯 !! Plenty of area to walk Fido with complimentary bags and can to clean up . Bought a brisket sandwich heading out , bought a pound coming back YUMMY 😋 . Every employee is super friendly and helpful . No line for checking out , like the pumps plenty of cashier's . Buc-ee's will be an every trip stop for me . I only had one negative that's why I didn't give 5⭐'s . The pecan pralines are horrible . The sugar isn't melted , they're like chewing sand and I bet sand has more flavor .😟 My suggestion don't pass a Buc-ee's w/o stopping , just don't buy a praline .

Oh my, what can I say bad about this place? Buc-ees was easily our favorite part of the ride home and we hope one comes to Indiana soon! Staff was very friendly, it looks like they treat their workers well, lots of options for food, and very nice and clean bathrooms! I got some cinnamon pecans and a chicken sandwich, both were good sized for the price and we're fresh. Hopefully we can make it to a Buc-ees again!

Another thing - I NEVER eat gas-station food, either, but I was blown away at the brisket sandwiches available at this establishment! Prepared out in the open, customers can see the quality of the food. Then there's retail, and the cleanliness of the gigantic restrooms is amazing. Amazing. Gotta see it to believe it. LOL!

Only place in world you’ll spend $100 at a gas station and not actually buy gas. I went from “that’s an ugly beaver” to buying all the merch with said beaver on it. Best Texan beaver logo gas station that serves food that rivals best in town BBQ places that I’ve ever been. It’s like Trader Joe’s and Sheetz had a baby and named him Buc-ee.

Yes, it is worth the hype. These mega-convenience stores have made it to Kentucky. You'll see why it's not just a store, but an experience and possible lifestyle! LOL They, despite 2/3 of the population of Kentucky being at it on opening weekend, still kept their reputation of cleanest restrooms. Their sandwich stand had great hot sandwiches of chicken, pulled pork and brisket. The fudge reminds you of road side stops from a forgotten time. The jerky station is gourmet and amazing. Each and every employee seemed very happy and was very helpful. I hope that as things calm down- their reported treatment of employees can change. All other locations have very happy employees (that we've encountered).

Very clean! Everyone was friendly! A fun atmosphere for a break from a trip or to stop by and visit if you live near! Lots of good food (the bqq is amazing), shopping, and snacks! With so many gas pumps you never have to worry about waiting for gas! Usually fairly busy but all the lines move fast!

I love this place but it has its shortfalls. The food,staff, atmosphere all awesome. Problem is these are purposely placed in the middle of nowhere to avoid competition, so most people are coming from a long drive on vacation etc. This time of year the bugs are so bad your windshield is covered in dead bugs. This is a safety concern and to advertise as a gas station and not provide squeegys is a huge turn off. Next time I'm stopping at a station that does. Also be warned there is no seating inside or outside. Whatever you buy to consume must be done in your car which isn't pleasent. If you are older and need to rest for a minute while shopping plan ahead. I assume it is to save on taxes not being a restaurant? Change these 2 things and you get 5 stars.

What's not to like? You don't come here expecting a quiet trip. It's like an organized chaos that's never out of order. For example, a spill happened behind me and before I knew it an employee, asked me how I was and to not step back for a second because she was already mopping up the spill. I don't even know where she came from! All the employees were very nice and even the other customers were polite. My chicken strip meal was delicious and that brisket sandwich? Ugh, so good! The whole place was clean, the bathroom was huge, I loved that there was sanitizer in the stalls. Loved the stalls being more individual rooms than flimsy walls. I wish I didn't live so far because I would spend all of my money here.

A unique experience like no other I have experienced! Very clean restrooms. I haven't eaten all the hot sandwiches yet but I really like the brisket and the BBQ turkey. Stopped by for the first time and holy smokes. I'm from PA and moved down to KY, it was hard to move away from WAWA! Been here for 18 months and was recently thinking about driving to a wawa with the kids just because, BUT I think we may have found a place much closer! Buc-ee's is BIG. Like everything they have is immense, from the number of gas pumps to ice machines. You go inside to a world of different experiences. They have so many options I instantly became lost in a world of inviting aromas, a food wonderland that is second to no other gas station experience, maybe even Including wawa. Their food options were limitless, with menu items like Brisket and Egg Tacos and breakfast burritos of every variety. I couldn't stay long, as much as I wanted to hang out and see what came about during lunch time, but I will be sure to come back, and maybe I won't have to plan that trip back to PA to go to WaWa anymore. With tons of luck maybe I'll even find a soft pretzel, but I think thats big dreams.

The only thing that loves station has and Bucees station does not have the wind screen whipe cleaning thing. So if you want to clean your windscreen seek for another place but gas and restrooms are good

It pains me to give Buc-ee's less than 5 stars because they are my all time favorite road trip gas/bathroom stop. Cleanest restrooms, fun shopping and good eats. But this one made my heart sad when I couldn't find an adult shirt that was horse related like my daughter's (it was the cutest). All my choices were guitars or generic. I love getting different shirts from the different places we visit and I just knew I'd find a horse themed shirt at the Kentucky location. It will not discourage me from stopping again though because well it's Buc-ee's!

Definitely an "experience," not just a stop at a gas station. The food was good and tasted fresh. I was most impressed by the customer service; all the employees we encountered were very nice and personable. It was definitely very busy (10:30 am on Sunday of a holiday weekend) and the flow of the store is a little weird, but it was a fun visit.

Buc-ee’s is an awesome stop no matter how you put it. Everything you would need while traveling they have and more. Unfortunately I had a group of over 30 people who wanted to sit down and eat the incredible brisket burgers they just purchased but the one thing they did not have was seating. We stopped thinking at least outdoor seating, tables, picnic tables or anything like that would be available but unfortunately this particular Buc-ee’s did not have that.

My first Buccees experience. All the hype is real. Best gas station convenience superstore ever! This one seems to be a smaller scale according to my wife who has been to one before but it is still massive for a gas station and quite impressive. The bathrooms are clean, with private stalls, and an attendant keeping everything clean. There’s more food and snacks than you can imagine and it’s all delicious. I had a brisket sandwich and brisket tacos and fresh hot candied almonds and cashews. Possibly the best brisket I’ve ever had especially on a sandwich or taco. Gas pumps for probably 200yds. We were there in the middle of a weekday so it wasn’t that busy but I’ve heard it gets crazy. Definitely worth a stop if you’re on the highway.

This is a great stop. Clean bathroom, lots of food options from fresh BBQ Brisket to healthy sandwiches and salads. The snacks are great. Try the spicy trail mixes or the jerky. You can buy a swimsuit candles, hard sided cooler, lake chairs. Anything you could need for a great road trip.

They have a ton of pumps, with good spacing. In the Richmond area, they offer ethanol free gas. One can get regular, diesel or ethanol free at the end pumps. Very busy, and the inside seems chaotic. But we were able to fill both the truck and boat, use facilities and get food. They have a store inside with a good variety of items.

They have FANTASTICLY fresh food, the place is always super clean, no matter what store you go to, the employees are always more than helpful!! Now, why would I always stop here when traveling??? I always take my dogs, they have a huge area to let your furry family stretch their legs out and go potty, not to mention they have potty bags stands and they ALL have bags in them. Their restrooms are top notch and always remarkably sparkling clean. Lastly, you have over 100 pumps to fuel up your vehicle. One stop shop here. Not only do they have everything you need in one stop, but you can look around at their store full of beautiful paintings and miscellaneous clothes, decor and necessities. Personally, I feel this chain of “gas stations” has hit the jackpot! Keep up the good work Buc-ees!! 🙌🏻

As soon as you enter you'll realize there is a happy place in the world and it's know as Buc-ee's 🙂 Their brisket hit the spot! For $23 per lb it's not the cheapest lunch but it was well worth it. Stopping here is more of an experience vs a convenience in my opinion. Especially with the silly round-abouts to get out and back on the interstate. If you have kids they will enjoy stopping here at least once and will probably request that you stop by again when passing back through!

Wow. This place is absolutely unbelievable. I can’t think of one thing that they are doing wrong. This place is truly pioneering the gas station competition. From the fresh made beef jerky to the In-store bakery, bucees spares no detail. This place will always feel like home to me. I would never think about stopping at any other gas station while traveling down south. I will happily have a family one day just so that another human being can know the joy of the bucees experience. They have items that like the glazed almonds, the brisket, and the beef jerky that will simply blow any competition out of that water. The only issue with selection of merchandise is getting out of there without clearing your wallet! Next time I go I’m going in the bathroom even if I don’t have to poop. I might just sit on the toilet and read. This gas station is absurdly large and their issue is not being large enough! It has more excitement and community engagement than a major city’s downtown. I absolutely have to get some bucees merchandise to simply pay my respects and represent the best gas station in the world. Truly an amazing, unique experience. Wow. I’ve never seen anyplace quite like Bucee’s. It really is a sight to behold. They have anything you could want in a convenience store and then some. The bathrooms are very clean, first of all and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We tried the chopped brisket sandwich and it was delicious. The coffee was nice and hot and there were many varieties of snacks. I bought a jar of Bucees apple butter and my daughter said it’s better than Cracker Barrel’s apple butter. The souvenir and home interior items, T-shirts etc are really neat. Way to go, Bucee’s! Thumbs up!

First time I've ever been to this place was today, my husband has gone before me and brought home coffee for me which I have to say is the BEST COFFEE EVER! When I first enter the parking lot I'm like wait, this ant no gas station this is a grocery store lol. And the bathrooms omg is the best public bathrooms I've ever seen and the cleanest like usually when u go into a public bathroom u seen toilet paper on the ground and water everywhere not here like it's so clean like u could literally eat off there floors I'm just saying. Today I stopped at Buccee's Richmond to buy gas. And lo! What a surprise...gas had risen from $3.569 to 3.789! Granted, the week before gas rates had been lower for the grand opening. No major gas savings here compared to nearby locations in the area. I would like to point out a few missing amenities for the motoring crowd - no windshield wash/squeegee stations on any of the many pumps! inside the store or outside there aren't any places to sit and enjoy the food purchased inside the store - walking around trying to eat a messy sandwich isn't very appealing! Forget grandma or grandpa having a comfortable place to rest after moving through a crowded store! These are hospitality suggestions I hope management takes to heart!

I just had to go! Took the whole family just for fudge, brisket and a cowgirl hat. The place was awesome had a good experience buuuuut not everyone eats sauce on their meat. Lol my daughter and husband were very upset that we traveled that far and the couldn’t get the brisket without sauce. I myself prefer no sauce but I came for brisket so I ended up with their food along with mine lol. Very fast paced and I expected it to be bigger but hey that won’t stop me from going back! However, as much as I love it at Buc-ee's, we stopped at the one in Richmond and there was NO soap dispenser in the handicap stall of the ladies room. We just had to stop. We heard all the hype. I must admit, staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Had a brisket sandwich and fresh fruit cup, both were fresh and delish. Was able to pick up a couple gifts as well as the prizes were reasonable. If you are in the area, make the time to stop. Spend a little time to walk around, will find something you want including the coffee wall that can keep you going!!! Bonus got to meet Bucee😍

If you ever have to go #2 (doo-doo), this is the best place ever! Best, cleanest, most private toilets I’ve ever experienced. No one can hear your farts or kerplunks, no humiliation just privacy and cleanliness. My favorite place to do my business. Snacks, food, and swag are great too. My wife’s Buc-ees cup is her favorite. Gas prices and pumps are clean and nice as well! You can’t loose at Buc-ees. Great American business run by a beaver.

From the potty like a rockstar billboard we knew we had to have the original buck-ees poopin experience. 20 people people poopin at the same time plus Walmart Black Friday vibes is the buckin truth. Pretty sure we walked out with Covid and an std and the flu but ya know what? The brisket boys were primed in on point! Slingin ten meats at a time! Not only is this probably the greatest gas station ever it's more than that. You see my girlfriend hadn't been feeling well from the heat but said she felt better so we were traveling from Indiana to North Carolina when we stopped for gas. She went in to use the restroom while I pumped gas. A man came out to my car to get me. Your girlfriend is having some problems he said. When I got inside there she was on a stool being treated by not one but two EMT's and being looked after by three employees. They had ice and ice packs on her till I arrived. She still had to use the restroom and one of the EMT's went with her. Thank you again. You guys are the best

Y’all we have been missing out for too long!!! Drove almost and hour each way just to see what the hype was all about and I was not disappointed!!!! Well worth the drive and the crowd to visit! This place is well worth a visit! They have a broad selection of merchandise for the traveler and beyond. We were there on opening day and as expected it was crowded! I loved Buc-ees. Only thing is I got the stomach bug from one of their salads. But I think I just had like a bad batch. And only reason I say it’s buc-ee’s is because my niece and nephew and I had the same breakfast and their not sick. I had the same lunch with my mom and she’s not sick and I had the same dinner with my family. Except I had that salad and no one else had it. But I’m not blaming anyone. It was probably just a bad salad. That’s why I gave a 4/5 stars and if I could it would be a 4.5/5

Over the top Walmart of the truck stops. Overpriced and overhyped, a modern day Stuckey's...including pecan logs. The sidewalks are lined with wares from firepits and grills to store branded lawn chairs and sun shades...if you want to show such loyalty. Its very clean, as all Buc-ees are, but the turn off is its gargantuan size: its a purposefully built mad house to impulse shopping.

They had a fitting room in a gas station. I witnessed something out of a Harry Potter novel. Three teenage boys walked up to me and I took a selfie with them. I was scared when I walked out of there to find out I had spent a month in there.
