Reviews of PALENGKE ORIENTAL MARKET
Was looking for fried catfish and I was able to purchase with EBT and they fried it for free so I must say I am very happy 😁 I decided to stop in here very helpful polite employees will definitely come back …
I like visiting and purchasing from mom and pop shops. I admire the risk and work it takes to run your own spot. The store is neat, clean, and orderly. The market expansion is nice and has allowed for better staging and more fresh vegetable variety and more authentic frozen goods. I do notice that items are not always priced and it deters me from purchasing as I'd like. I enter and leave saying an audible "hello ladies/everyone" to counter staff and most times not a peep back, just as Marie Caballero stated. So, I am glad the owner has a pipeline to reviews
of the business and is mindful and open to improving service at the location. WE APPRECIATE that you are here on the EAST SIDE and I remain a patron even if the Island Pacific is opposite your lovely little palengke!
All of our favorite grocery foods at slightly higher prices than 2 years ago.
Great selection of produce, cans of goods, meat section, Samoan and Fiji Taro, NZ butter, taro leaves luau, etc and so much more. I found great snacks that we used to eat growing up back home in the islands. I am very happy I found this market I appreciate and love the staff especially, Yolanda 😊 …
its great i feel like im in my home town every time i get here !
Just discovered this great market! Clean, neat and well-stocked with snacks:). Persimmons and enormous avocados from the owner's tree, I think. Kind, friendly staff.....a wonderful find!
I live walking distance from this store and we love it!! Yolanda is the owner and she is amazing and friendly and loves my girls!! They have a little restuarant in the store that uses the ingredienys from the store and the food is amazing. The freezer/refrigerator section was expanded and all the selections are excellent. I literally can't stop saying how wonderful these peoole are!!
Love you Yolanda!!! From Amanda, Petra, and Nara!!
Slightly more expensive, but convenient and happy to have a Chinese market on the east side.
Love love this place. And the hot food is amazing!
Love to pick up some rice from here
I ordered pancit and lumpia for my daughter’s 21st birthday and my coworkers and guests love it, I should have ordered more - definitely recommend!!!! Five stars to the staff! Keep up the good work!
There was no welcome even after i greeted store attendant. I liked the dinengdeng at their steam table selection and their siopao was yummy too.
I always love to stop in here & shop. The cashier is a very nice & freindly lady fm the Philippines. Their is a nice selection of asian products & beverages to buy. She even has some asian poster for your house to buy. If you get hungry their is a restaurant in the Palengke the food is very good. They even take food stamps not in the restaurant only in the grocery part. Salamat Po.. Aloha
My mom loves this place. Ive been taking her here for years and the staff here always treats her great. She won't go anywhere else for fish and taro.
Absolutely Love this Store. They have everything I need As if I never moved from Hawaii. They even carry Fresh Luau Leaves.....Right on now I can make Beef Luau Stew🤙🏾 …
every marketing day vegetables fresh seafoods also, i remember when i'm looking for a sack of rice 25lbs. month of march or april they ran out ,they give me a hard time just to buy one, hansen biscuit is always run out, the person whose in- charge in raw fish ask too many questions about where do you work, did you just got-off from work? something like questions its not related to why you're in palengke! sonny or sammy the owner needs a lot of help, in terms of inventory, marketing etc.
For those people that are searching for ingredients for Asian dishes, Palengke is the closest Asian market in the northeast part of Vegas. Cross streets are Nellis and Charleston on a very busy intersection. They have handicap parking but I wouldn't advise people in wheelchairs to go in because the aisles are pretty tight. A bit pricey but it is expected because of importing.
The main door was block, due to painting. The photos online did not look like in person in certain area. Their were out stocks in refrigerator. The food court was close.
Very small market with some basic Asian cooking ingredients. They have a decent produce section with quality vegetables.
Spent $9.00 for Pancit that didn't have any meat, Very Disappointed.
Nice employees. Got most ingredients I need. They have cooked foods to go or to dine in. I Like their pansit palabok and malabon.
Very friendly people.
great place for pisupo, wahoo and NZ butter. they did not have Nz lamb though... bummer.
Staff are nice and it's very convenient to buy food that you want to cook and other things that you need instantly.
I'm glad that bangs same price as Chinatown. Closer to me more convenient
Great freshly cooked food at very affordable price!
The store was very clean well stocked the reason I gave them 3stars because they weren't friendly at and the service was mediocre.
We come here everytime to eat at their small restaurant they have inside the store, then we buy our groceries afterwards. Good selections of asian food, etc.
I drive 30 minutes to get here because they have what I want. There's another filipino store somewhere in Henderson but they're much more expensive so even though they have a bigger store I don't ever go there unless I absolutely have to.
Only Filipino market on the east side for your tocino and longaniza and sinagang packet needs. And they got a small restaurant on the side. Fresh BBQ and fried tilapia.yumms.
Grate coustermer service.really nice ppl and I will always come back to get my jasmine rice in bulk and for imported drinks.
They have many different foods from all around Asia and if you ask them for something specific they will probably have it.
I only go to the deli and it's pretty good but I can't offer nothing else about the market.
Clean place and easy to get in and out. Has restaurant, small meat market and freezer items.
Not as big as seafood city or island.pacific
But very cozy and great employee.i recommend this one
Great store and really great prices. I bought a work that was 12" and it is twice the price at Walmart.
Staff is very friendly and they have a good selection. Prices are good.
Good store. Keeps getting bigger. Lots more stuff to buy
Nice market. Have a lot of selection and the staff is friendly
The closest Filipino store and restaurant in my area. They are very nice to me.
Just got my free 2021 Calendar, shop and get yours right now...
It was a okay market i bought a few items. They need more options to pick from.
I love pinos food yummy
Love the produce and very helpful staff...love the ramen!
Very good. Enjoyable and friendly staff.
They have alot of things you can't find when it comes to home in Hawaii.
My mother's favorite little 💓 Filipino grocery store. …
A bit of the Philippines right the in Las Vegas. My wife went there and had a bit of a homecoming.
Prices are a bit high. Nice customer service!
Sure hope they stay opened.
They have a lot of Oriental type of food
Great service and very good food
Nice people. Not hard to find things.
Small but had all the Asian essentials.
We stopped to get wonton wrappers
Good phillpino food
If I can't find it here, I just go to Chinatown
1st time very helpful.
Has what we need most of the time
My Philippines food fix.
Small but good
Good Filipino food
Great clean
Really helpful staff
Love this market.
Not too good
Great Market!
Clean and organized
Baloot is great
conveniently nearby
Great
frendly ...
I keep going back for their sweet buns! I love returning to this place it's like on family I've gotten to know the stuff there and it's very welcoming
It's really Filipino. When we are in Vegas, my husband and I would love to stop by to eat and enjoy the Filipino food that made us feel so at home. Compatriots, come visit our nation and enjoy our sailing. Pinoys are good at cooking even if they are the world's dado. Proud pinot from Utah.
Regulate high prices.
