Ariel, one of their pharmacy techs, single handedly made me a loyal customer by way of going above and beyond to help solve a co-pay problem I was having and for introducing me to their in store reward program for transferring scripts and refilling them. The staff of the Desert Inn / McCloud Albertsons were very courteous and helpful ! The product was neatly placed and organized. As always the Albertsons Bakery products were fresh and tasty! This Albertsons is what I call a mid- Albertsons where it's not like the newer larger Albertsons but not like the original '70s Albertsons in size ...easy to find the product!

I love shopping here with the Albertsons app. The rewards program is great. I love using the coupons and sales to get better prices on items I want for that day. Very nice cashier's the other day we were both distracted I thought my cade went through a she had too make an announcement the store was closing in less than 20 minutes and we both thought everything was good. So went to the car to load up the groceries and was surprised when she came up to me very nicely and let me know it had not gone through. That an embarrassing moment but she played it down. Don't know what was wrong with the bank plenty of money on the card. Ran it again Same thing bank was being very over protective because I had got cash an hour earlier, and didn't mach my spending record in the past. So paid in cash and I just wanted to thank her for not making it into anything other than what it was a computer glitch. Wish all people could have that understanding that not everyone is trying to walk off with the store LOL.🙂

Most recent visit was to purchase some New York Strip steaks on sale. In over half the packs available in meat section, some of the steaks had a noticeable and significant taper. This means overcooked meat. It seems to me almost deliberate. As if upper management figured out that if you taper the steaks just a bit and hide the tapered ends under each other you could fool the customer into thinking they were getting more product. Or perhaps the steaks were layered this way to reduce the protrusion into the plastic film wrap? Or perhaps it was simply sloppy work? 4 of my 6 steaks were tapered. Perhaps I'm fixated too much on this? Perhaps all of these things are true- and more. It is up to you to decide. You have to choose your own destiny.

I must admit that I haven't shopped at Albertsons for some time now. I went back recently because I saw reasonably priced meats in their circular. I was pleasantly surprised with the nice quality of meats, very good sale prices and a nice selection. I was most excited over there prepounded chicken cutlet at 30 percent off, which I used to make a delicious chicken marsala. I definitely will become a frequent customer.

All around top notch Albertsons! There's only 1 problem & that is a blond haired cashier who tries to act like shes mgmt but she isn't & she is the least helpful & has no clue what customer service means & how to provide it. She never wants to do anything for the customer & if something can make your experience more difficult, she will be the one to make it that way! In spite of having her there which ruins my day when I see her, the rest of the employees really are amazing! Special shout out to the butchers in the back - they are always helpful and incredible at their jobs! The bakery dept always makes sure I get my cherry turnovers without glaze on the top&absolutely love the cakes that go on sale & I buy one almost every time I shop for my husband!

For a Albertsons its clean, friendly, respectable. Prices are high but that's every Albertsons i have ever been into...Deli food is usually fresh n hot. Again I do not buy a lot of stuff here at all... Just way to expensive for people like me who has to watch every dime they spend these days due to this horrible economy...Look these places need to lower the prices for everyday people, are one day your business might be closed due to No customers...Pricey

Joanie in the bakery was amazing. I came last minute for a baby birthday cake and cupcakes and I had no idea what I really wanted and gave her a vague, confusing description of my idea. She was able to give me what I wanted but better. Thank you so much! Will definitely come back as long as she is there.

I have to change my review to 5 star because of the positive experience with a staff member. Nice guy going above and beyond collecting carts. He just had one cart so he patiently waited for me to unload into my car and offered to take the cart then went to the guy next to me and did the same. I don't mind returning the cart but this felt extra special and he is doing this diligentlyand respectfully in this terrible heat.

I come here often for smaller items and simply because it's convenient.It is very close to my house.For the 9+ years I've shopped here this Albertsons has been consistently well organized and clean.The produce is beautiful- it looks like the wax fruit my grandma used to keep on her patio table that fooled just about everyone-What the employees lack in pleasant demeanor they make up for in efficiency.I give this a 4 not 5 star rating because their prices are now and have always (at least in the past 9+ years)been noticably higher than the other competing stores near by.I'm also not a big fan of their hours.Since Covid they've been closing @ 10pm which just plain sucks for me.

Normally I have something good to say, but my last visit, I had a feeling that the employees didn't know a clue about the department they work in. If you're going to be in Deli, make sure that you are ready to answer questions. Be knowledgeable about the product.

The deli staff is very friendly and quick. The Store looks clean, and the produce is always stocked. The check out lines, could use some improvements, the cashiers are quick it's just that the lines get log, and other registers are not always open to accommodate all their customers. I mean why not train all staff to be able be Cashiers, the employees would all benefit from learning and acquiring new job skills, and the costumers turn around shopping time from start to finish would lead to true customer satisfaction. The upside benefit for the company would be more money in your pocket much quicker and happier employees who learned new job skills. Hopefully this is some food for thought to District Managers.

This is a great little grocery store, always clean with a really fantastic selection of food. What really stands out is the bakery though! There's such a large variety of choices, especially for cakes, cookies, and rolls; So tasty!!! Not as much variety as an evil big-box chain (that shall remain nameless) and a little higher prices BUT I'm more than happy to pay for it to get fresher food!

This is the largest and nicest Vons or Albertson's store in the area. The 2 closest to my house are disgusting. For small trips I usually shop at the one on the 1100 block of East Twain. But for a bigger shopping trips I always come here and this has a better pharmacy.

I love this Albertsons!! Store is always very clean, employees very friendly and store is well stocked. There has never been a line when I am in here, no stocking of the whole store during busy times, always a great selection of items!! Store is never crowded! Easy, fast shopping.

Store is neatly organized and flows consistently with the other Albertsons stores. But the store never has any handicap Vehicles available for the patrons. So, I deducted one star because of this. And, the deduction was after maybe 8 to 10 visits and never having a vehicle available. I'm guessing this is a B or C size store. Consistently great staff from my 17 years at this store. Also, store has consistently improved over the years. The Savon Pharmacy at this location is the biggest kept secret. Great staff and they can fill most prescriptions in 20 minutes to an hour. You can take that same prescription 1/2 mile East to CVS and they will tell you they need 6 hours to fill the prescription (and there won't be anyone else in the store).

My wife usually does all the shopping, but she seems very satisfied with Albertsons and goes there almost everyday. She seems very proud and excited when she gets home, so I take that as a definite hint, that Albertsons is doing and extremely professional job. Great going Albertsons.

Had issues with getting cashback. I hit "other" for amount on 2 transactions. It said approved and thank you. The clerk was super nice and called the manager. The manager, I believe her name is Calleen or similar, was absolutely understanding and never acted like I was anything but the most important customer! Writing this sitting in my car in the parking lot. Everyone was great!

Friendly and good products. I wish I could shop here all the time but their prices are higher than the local Wally Market. I can understand produce and meat being higher due to the better quality, but the pantry items shouldn't be that way.

Albertson's is the only place to buy meat. It's always fresh, plentiful and tasty (not like Smith's that has no discernible flavor) a Rib Eye tastes like a Rib Eye. Prices are a wee bit more than most, but the store is always clean (DI and Pecos) and the associates are great. They always help me with the Just for U at check out.

This Dotty's store #22 is my favorite. I have been going to Dotty's for over 4 years now and I enjoy the atmosphere. My favorite game is the U1. I love playing the bear game, and the thunder game. I love the bonuses and the free play I receive monthly. The on issue I had with that Dotty"s the woman who work on the grave yard shift. Now she never really bother me but abuse of some of the customers that would come into Dotty's I found to be very offensive. I am very empress with the removal of the woman it makes the graveyard shift a pleasure to play now.

My first time shopping at this location. Nice, very clean store, friendly staff. Well stocked with a good variety of products. Excellent produce and floral departments. This store was a nice change from the Smith's and Vons where I normally shop. Checkstands were busy at 5pm, but wait was short. Store includes all of the same specials and club card savings as Vons and Safeway. At rush hour, the parking lot was a bit tricky to get out of to go north and west. I will shop here again. I also used the Great Clips in the same plaza for my haircut and had a good experience there as well.

I shop here weekly, I’ve not had to wait in line long, if you watch the sales you can usually get some of what your looking for. Prices seem to be in line with with other stores, cashiers have always been courteous For these reasons I give 5 stars

I was surprised at how well this store was kept. The neighborhood is dirty with a lot of homeless that typically hang around in the nearby park. The store was clean, well stocked and laid-out. Its apparent that the manager and employees work hard to keep this store looking nice.

While the store itself was clean and presentable, the overall prices are inflated. To get sale prices you need to download the Albertsons app and add the items you want the sale price on to a "list" prior to checkout. Not very convenient.

Sales promotions usually place strict limits on quantities and/or with conditions. Way too much store labeled products storewide leaves too little space for name brands. Very clean well kept store. Pricy but neatest store in 10 mile radius.

I have to say honestly I avoid this location mainly for the fact that I don't have time to wait an additional 15 to 30 minutes to check out... This is not a "one time" occurrence, I've noted since July 2017 the checkout times have been greater than 15 minutes 5/7 times I've gone. Perhaps it's the time of day I go (7pm usually) but they have no self scan! And the prices are almost always higher than Smith's

Sometimes shortage of carts, good produce baked goods. Learning to go there for the advertised leaders/sales. Soda sale, water, meats (especially on sale) Not the gimmick sale like buy one, get 3 free,the one is priced so high, better off taking a pass. Counter is good for the 8 piece fried or baked chicken. Many of the standards, are overpriced, so I go to different store. But take advantage of the specials, to get u in. Example, name brand soda, 4. 12 packs $10. Wal-Mart, 1. 12 pack $4.79. Fruit sales, etc, worth the trip, if you don't go many of the staples that are overpriced

The manager have very bad customer service, because I dropped my bags of food and case of soda right after I was finished buying them . I went to Albertson's to get some ice cream cones for the 4th of July and while I was in there there was a homeless man in there and he was trying to steal something the store manager simply asked him to take the items out and leave the store she could have called the police and had him arrested but she spared him the people who work there or people-friendly and very helpful that Albertsons is a great place to shop I don't know about any of the other Albertsons but that one gets five stars from me have a great day people

This store is hit-or-miss. The sell items are normally in pretty good stock. The workers are OK. I would stay away from the chicken in the deli unless it's fresh. The chicken that was pre packaged wasn't good and it was burnt.

The APP is confusing to say he least! Please get it together. I clicked on the Desert Inn/Pecos-McCloud store and it took me to SAFEWAY! When I put things in the just for you section, I still have to go back to the Just for U section and click on the checkmark to make sure it’s in my box. That is double duty work. And not necessary. I have lost and missed so many of these discounts by not knowing that I was supposed to do that. Now that I know I have to do that I don’t want to take the time to do it! It’s not fair! There’s got to be an easier way to do this. It’s not fair!!!!!
