First time shopping this store. Great customer service. We called this morning about the availability of the turkeys and spoke to Brandi. She was so helpful & polite. When we got to the store she helped us get our turkey & a ham. What a great asset to to your store she is. We also encountered John in Produce, Charles in dairy, John in frozen section & Cheryl in the bakery. All wonderfully helpful. William the checker was super helpful as I was having problems with my Safeway app. He gave me all my discounts & told me how to contact the Corp. Office to get it cleared up. I can't say enough good things about this store. Made my day to encounter such a great bunch of employees.

Really nice and speedy staff during a busy time of day. We came in for some on-the-go deli chicken for a passenger on our trip that didn't want lunch where the rest of us ate. Then we heard a customer's magic words "Are the pot pies ready?" The hungry passenger loves frozen pot pies. We were informed that there was an unreserved one that we could purchase. My passenger also wanted some salad and asked about each one's ingredients. The deli lady knew the ingredients by heart. That pot pie was apparently fresh made, not frozen, and delicious. The aroma made everyone in the car wish that we hadn't already had lunch so we could have a pot pie. 12/10, will probably go back next week to get my own pot pie

I'm a digital deal/weekly ad shopper and one must check the receipt before leaving to make sure all deals/sale prices were discounted appropriately. No rhyme or reason behind glitches. Don't get burned, just goto the customer service desk and they will happily make appropriate adjustments.

Not a bad place to go for food and household items, if u enjoy starbucks they have one inside, the only bad thing is they only keep a few registers open and it's very slow so be prepared to stand in line for awhile. Nice people clean store

I think they are a little overpriced but they are close to home and I didn't want to drive all the way to Walmart. I had to request help 5 times 2 get the prices to ring up correctly for the sales. The clerk was very helpful but they should have had them right in the computer

Lorrie in the deli is awesome. I come in frazzled, in a rush and needing food to feed my staff! I left with arms full of hot fried chicken and a smile on my face. If I could hire Lorrie to work for me I would! She is professional, knows her job well and delivers customer service that Safeway should be proud of. Every encounter I have with that gal is remarkable. I hope Safeway knows what they have in Lorrie. She is a treasure!

Safeway has been a part of Cheyenne's grocer's business community since I moved here in 1997. The staff are all friendly active. Being the only grocery store located on south Greeley hwy you would wonder why aren't more staff members scheduled to help at peak hours? And if you're an early bird seeking items only provided by the customer service desk then your outta luck. No one there to man the station till between 9am-10am. Meaning no cashing checks, money orders, western union, renting ruff doctors, and I'm pretty sure propane is on the list as well. Other than that I give em 4 stars.

I am only able to testify to the Safeway that my two daughters and I were patrons to, we were treated like family. Most of the employees were childhood schoolmates to me, and a few were my friends. My girls and I were clowns while we were doing our shopping. We were basically entertainment to admirers of our relationship. Many stated that the store is meant to be a Family store. As for what I recall, in my lifetime Safeway is Family.

I don’t know her name, but she works at Starbucks and her mom (I guess) runs the deli. They are the only reason you have—for now, at least—retained my business. I came in for Cheap Chicken Monday. Your closer called in and forced a closure. The deli gal that told me all this (different person) was very terse about it. I’m not the only person who was asking about your closure. The daughter called her mom and she offered me a free 8-piece chicken next Monday, 9/20. Prior to today, my grievances included no Kraft Thick and Creamy Mac n Cheese for several months and no longer carrying Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Big Packs (photo included). About a month ago during your re-opening one of the managers that was there was going to try and get them back. I have not seen them. I live a mile from the store and have been coming here for 4 years. I don’t want to have to drive across town to one of the Albertsons for my chicken.

I use to love this Safeway and now I won’t return. I apologize for being so fickle over Self Check Out. If I have a handful of items I don’t mind. The employees here have a wonderful attitude and are helpful even early in the morning, this is the reason for my rating, but self check out forget it. King Soopers has several self check out lanes as well, but I always wait for a cashier.

For a small town Safeway, there is a surprisingly good selection of products here! The in store Starbucks has outstanding, kind staff and all of the seasonal retail. The staff were kind and helpful. The one place of improvement is in bathrooms, the cleaning crew just wasn't getting it done on the day of my visit.

It is a good place for people on a budget to get fairly decent food but, it's not a high end grocery chain like King supers or some of the other more expensive food stores.

Nice friendly staff. Well stocked shelves. I think the scales are off, either at the Vegetable department or at the cash wrap. Weighed an item at both places that differed by 1/2 a pound, resulting in paying more than I thought I should. Although, the cashier did give me a break on the price half way.

I was just in there Bill at the cash register was great and the lady in the deli that sliced my turkey was awesome! Although I tried to use the self checked it would not let me move the bags once I had them full to my basket and that little bitty area does not hold more than one bag so it was very frustrating I ended up going to Bill at a regular checkout

I like this store very much. Grew up with a Safeway store in my home town in southern Utah. Sadly, it might very well be a while until I return due to my relocation into a town in Colorado. I've got storage right next door to this Safeway and I always visit for a snack or drink. Clean store, more than just helpful staff, they care and are very cordial. This store has been able to compete with Walmart .... out of the 4 Safeway stores we had in Cheyenne, this one on South Greeley Highway is the only one to survive. With the most modern equipment and a good selection of food as well as competitive prices... friendly and very helpful are all the staff especially Robert the night manager. A good store however there isn't much selection or very good deals as far as savings goes. Staff is very kind and willing to help when needed. Was impressed with how well stocked they were on merchandise for the items they do sell. Every customer is offered a Safeway club card free of charge and that will offer savings. It's a store I choose on a weekly basis however I wouldn't recommend it if you have a big shopping list more like a stop to make if you need a few things while on the go.

Great produce section and good meat section as well. I find that they are frequently out of different products, the shelves aren't stocked . But the meat counter is very small with a small variety. The employees are helpful to get you the cut you are looking for. Store is clean and well organized. One of my go-to stores for my grocery shopping.

Lady named Rhonda in the bakery gave such great customer service. You can tell she really loves her job and cares about people. I have always shopped here since I was little with my mom. The renovation is looking good but the quality of the produce is very poor. I cut into a green bellpeper and found it rotting with bugs inside. Tomatoes are on the stand rotted already. I can't get past it so I don't purchase veggies or fruit there anymore. Attempted to respond back to them as directed. The questions bubble did not provided anything on topic nor do I see why I was responded with this. Sounds automated. No help and waste of time doing .

I think this Safeway goes out and finds the slowest cashiers sp force you to use the self checkout. I had 3 people infront of me with less then10 items and it took 23min to get out. I gave the store 3 stars because the lady in the meat dept was vary nice and helpful. So bottom line go to meat dept and ask for help then before you head to the checkout get a drink at the Starbucks grab something to read.

Hard to navigate and many empty shelves. Whoever decides where to place products has apparently never had to shop! This location is clean and friendly and includes a Starbucks and a nearly full service Blue Federal Credit branch location.

Just a regular store. It seemed a little dark to me when I was there. I noticed that a lot of the floor tiles tiles in the ailes had a lot of marks, probably from rearranging the ailes over the years. Edit: They have recently did a remodel and things are looking better. The one thing that I don't like is now there are no cart storage on the north entrance. So if you park on the north side of the parking lot you have to walk to the south entrance to get a shopping cart.

The closing manager should keep the self checkout lane open and not just have one person at a lane checking people out. This would result in less longer lines of people waiting, and you could use that same person to monitor people to prevent stealing. Every time I come in at night there is a long line because there’s only one person checking people out and this is very frustrating when I could have just gone to self check out. Another thing, I have noticed that the staff sometimes closes one entrance, this is very frustrating to customers as you can park in one spot and have to walk to the entire other side to be able to enter the store.. and half the time a door is having issues and won’t open properly.. I love shopping here, but I feel like these things should be tended to as I’m sure it frustrates other people too. As someone who works in management, I understand that issues like these can cause someone to not want to shop at your store again when there is Walmart, Albertsons, and other stores that will not have these issues.

Very nice store. Close to our hotel and the Starbucks is located inside. We were in such a rush i didnt have a chance to "shop the store" but these places can be like little jewels. Hopefully when we swing back in the future i can shop the store and give another review. Clean, light, organized staffed with friendly people.

I've been shopping here for many years now, coming in at all times of the day ranging from when they first open in the morning to mere minutes before they close at midnight and I've always had a very pleasant experience when interacting with any of their staff. They maintain a pretty good selection of foods and even carry a few (or more) exotic fruits that you won't usually find at places like Walmart. Adding to all that the extra savings by carrying a Safeway card, then even more by using the Safeway app makes this grocery store my favourite in town.

This store has improved since they remodel a couple of years ago and the customer service is better too. Surprisingly their prices are currently better then Walmart and comparable to King Soopers ! My biggest complaint is that they are often out of staples and their selection isn’t always good.

Safeway on S Greeley is a full service store with a deli and bakery and butcher on staff. I went to the Pharmacy and was able to check out with a few groceries at the same time. Wonderful people. The only negative is that the pharmacy is busy and can have wait times.

This place has what I need. If you are a Safeway card member, which requires no payment to join, the products are low priced. The employees are nice, helpful, and seem very close. Everything is organized well for me to find what I need, and I never have an issue with parking or getting in and out. During busy hours, they actually open up registers and work to get you in and out! Imagine that. The donuts are really good too.

Stopped in for some ice and some dry ice. Got some pretty good treatment. Cashier opened another Lane so that we could handle the dry ice without bothering anybody else. Have I groceries here quite a bit and their prices are reasonable. So great snacks that late night snack.

The grocery part is fine and they have a few things that you can't find at Walmart. The fuel island though... They need to get some people with WAY better customer service. I even complained to the GM, I was treated so rudely. (And I saw others treated the same) Whatever you do, don't ask ANY questions of the cashiers...OMG. if the store wasn't decent, this place would have gotten 1 star because you can't do 0.

I shop at Safeway because it is the store closest to my house .....I like the manager and the workers....but I am unhappy that Albertsons bought Safeway out....I am not quite sure when I wrote my up above review...apparently some time has passed as it seems more often than not the shelves at safeway rarely have what I was looking for and certain sections just keep getting smaller and smaller as the prices just continue to rise. I had forgotten a critical prescription on our vacation. My doctor contacted Safeway's Pharmacy in Cheyenne, WY. They filled my prescription right away and it was ready for my pickup immediately!

Great customer service and super clean store. I would give 5 stars but they recently switched the beef to pink slime once Albertonson took over. It used to be the only store that had good normal beef. I liked the the store better when Albertonson wasn't a part of it.

We went to Safeway today and had to go back out to the parking lot to get a cart to shop with. There were no carts in the store at all. A employee was going out to collect the carts when we arrived, we were in the store for about forty minutes, when we were leaving he had only brought in a handful of carts. Customer service was a joke. We asked several people about items and if they could check in the back for us, but the answer we received was either it's not their department or that the person for that department was not there today.
