My wife and I get house steak tips from SMM when we're celebrating, and since my one year old doesn't have many teeth, I wanted to try braising them. I got some very helpful advice from your employee, who asked me to share the results, so here's what happened: Pan-seared steaks in hot cast-iron, about a minute per side Dutch oven at 300 degrees for about two and a half hours (until internal temp was about 206) Results: As your employee predicted, it was SMM house pot roast. I made a bed of sliced potatoes (and Brussel sprouts cause they were in the fridge), barely covered it all with broth, then put the steak tips on top, so they really retained the flavor of your marinade. Was it better than slapping them on a grill for 18 minutes? Probably not. But I'll definitely do it again. My daughter (and wife) really liked it.

First word used to describe this place is Cha-ching! The meats are not cheap. The high quality is evident, the cuts are great. The staff is knowledgeable. Their seasoned steak-tips are great, the house chicken (or is it turkey?) is great. We would never turn down a guest who showed up with a bag from the Meat Market. Also a good wine selection, good beer selection and great cheese selection for the small size of the shop. Is it your everyday butcher? No. Is it your special occasion treat? Most certainly.

Amazing deli sandwiches, friendly people, and great selection of meats. A quaint little shop also selling local produce and products and much more.. and they have chocolate cake!
