OMG! We have been looking for a real Asian market since moving from Orlando and this is it! They not only had every single frozen, canned or mix item we were looking for but tons of fresh produce and lots of items I haven't bought before. Owner was SO friendly and accommodating, offered special orders and suggestions for products. I can't say enough about how great this market is if you love making your own Asian/Indian food at home!!!

This new Asian market offers hard-to-find ingredients such as lemon grass, bok choy, Japanese eggplant and many non-perishables such as curries, special sauces and rice cakes that cannot be found in our local grocery stores. The owners travel extensively to acquire these fresh goods. The prices are very reasonable. I have recently been trying out recipes that I enjoy in Asian restaurants and am happy to find elusive ingredients that are readily available locally here in Essex.

This is the place where you could get FILIPINO goods. Not much of a selection but they have different asian countries unlike the other “asian stores” as they claimed but only has indian goods. They have ample parking space too. Open 10am-6pm

Great store. Tons of Noodle selections!! Make better LoMein at home than at VT restaurants!! Or ChowFun or Soba or… Frozen selection is large and varied, as are the Oil/Sauces/Marinade areas. It’s clean, the employees are nice, and the prices are better than I expected. But what keeps me coming back is the Produce section. Best Baby BokChoi I’ve seen in VT. Really Baby BChoi- not just kinda small overpriced BokChoi like the regular market (if they have it)… small, super fresh and delicious!! Give them a try.

Everest Asian Market, in the new location is more spacious and brigther then before. I love that for first time on 17th year leaving in Burlington area, I am able to fine the cornmeal I use to have in my original country, Venezuela. This Pre-cooked cornmeal is use to make Arepas.

Such a great Asian grocery store. They have a little bit of everything from so many countries. They mentioned that if they were missing any products that they could special order it for us. They are also planning on offering cooking classes soon!

My daughter discovered the Asian Market online- checked out their Facebook page, and then we stopped there on the way to Burlington. It is located in Essex, but had moved to the back of the building. What an amazing place!! Clean, neat and filled with all sorts of good things. They have packaged items, freezers, and refrigerators- beautifully stocked. We bought Japanese ramen, rice noodles, instant black tea, boba, mochi( so good)- paneer cheese( I will use in my own curry recipe)- and lovely oranges. Thursday is fish day- a freshly made kimchee with fish sauce was available. He is thinking about making a vegetarian version. Wonderful veggies!! I also found wonderful, cheap temple incense- which cinched the loveliness of the store. Definitely worth the trip.

Clean, well kept store with all the goods you need and many you didn't you need! I walked in with high hopes and they were well met. Many different products from candies(they had my favorite lychee candies), spices and herbs, some house hold goods, and general shopping (ex. Hiyashi chūka for lunches this week so I needed soba noodles and seaweed, and they were both very competitively priced). Their produce is BEAUTIFUL - brightly colored with no blemishes. The woman working (I believe one of the owners) helped out the couple in front of me and let them know about ordering items, etc. and was very polite and knowledgeable. I have already told my fiancé how excited I am to come here more and expand our recipes (Vietnamese? Thai? What next?!). Thank you for this wonderful gem of a store!

Best Asian store in town! The shop owner is awesome, they always listen to our needs and are happy to bring us whatever we want to buy. It makes me feel like it is really the grocery store that serves the community, and that I want to help it to grow bigger. They offer the widest variety of goods, and fresh veggies twice per week(Monday and Thursday). The recent renovation made better use of the space and thus they can fit in more goods here, they also rearranged the shelf setting and have a better organization of the products. Love this store, would recommend anyone to here.

I am so happy that we have a decent Asian market in town! I love Asian food and the variety of goods sold in this market is really impressive for Vermont. I definitely recommend anyone to go and check it out. The owners are friendly and willing to find things for you if you're looking for a particular item.

BEST selection of refrigerated asian produce!! The quality of the produce is outstanding! Largest variety of asian dry goods within 2 towns. Friendly service and plenty of easy access parking. Large freezer section The store recently relocated here and is still in the process of finalizing things. It is adding new items every day. Inventory and selection will only increase. I'm guessing within a year, they will be the largest asian market. The owners are friendly and are constantly working. Prices are the lowest around. My new favorite Asian grocer!!!!!!

I spent well over an hour here just looking at all the things! Huge selection of products! A gentleman greeted me not long after arriving and offered any assistance should I need it and also mentioned if there was anything I didn't see they're glad to order products for customers which was very appreciated. The produce was really nice, all kinds of great finds you don't see in big name grocery stores typically. I stocked up on my favorite enoki mushrooms! Prices were very fair!

Went for the first time on a whim just to explore what they have and I was pleased. The store is clean, has a variety of products and the owner was extremely nice. He even gave me some rambutans at checkout and they were delicious! I'll definitely be going back to do some more shopping soon. I'm so glad I stopped in

I have been going to this store for years. I was a bit worried when the new owners took over earlier this year. However, they are fantastic! And their produce is the best, I won't go anywhere else for my produce. They offer the freshest and are reasonably priced. The new owners are always friendly and welcoming. If there is something they do not offer simply ask them and they will make every effort to get it. Most recently artichokes, yum! I only eat plant based food, which can be expensive and going to chain stores most of their produce is horrible. Here at Everest Asian Market, every thing is fresh each week. They offer a variety of produce, Avocados, spinach, mango, okra, cucumbers, squash, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, lemon grass.....and fresh herbs, I buy cilantro and dill fresh every week! Oh they also offer so much more. Come see for yourself~ I can't say enough about them! So proud to have them right here in my town! ~dmb So happy that they are doing well!

I love this place!!! After living in Asia for a few years I missed a lot of the food from there. They have Thai, Korean, Chinese, and Nepali ingredients to name a few countries. If you are Hispanic or African they have a lot of the spices and vegables that we use in our food. Great place.

I have lived in Burlington for 3 years now. My wife is from the Philippines and she frequently cooks cultural food. I can say with confidence that Everest Asian Market is by far the best Asian market in Burlington. It has the friendliest owners and staff, is kept clean, and always carries items that are hard to find at other stores (such as Korean rice cakes). I have tried many other Asian and Indian stores and they just can’t compare to the cleanliness and content of Everest. The owners of Everest also listen to their customers, and often add new inventory to meet their consumer’s needs. I’m glad they are successful, and will be expanding in a new location soon. This store comes highly recommended.

Produce was incredibly fresh & I will stop here first before going to one of the big grocery chains. Lot of fun, and tasty stuff to cook. Prices are very reasonable, especially affordable for a neighborhood store.

Three months ago, I would have given this store 5 stars. Great selection of interesting Indian, Japanese, Chinese food and spices you can't get anywhere else at reasonable prices. Past three times there was a child there, the owners' daughter, about 7 or 8 who screamed nonstop. She was having fun, but never stopped screaming. I love, babies and children, but this child was the most grating little thing I have ever confronted. She seems bright so not a challenged reason. Her parents, the owners I assume, never once told her to lower her voice. This time she was on a large two wheel bike going up and down the isles, telling customers to get out of the way, no distancing no mask. The isles are about two feet wide. I was in there for 15 mins and left with out getting all I wanted as I got so stressed out dodging the maskless demon child on her bike. Plus, really, no mask? I LOVE the food, but will never go there again.

You will find your typical Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Japanese grocery items here. The store is clean and organized and they get fresh veggies twice a week. The inventory is also expanding every week. They will do their best to take requests for items they don't typically carry. To top it off, the owners are super nice and they will always greet you with a friendly smile. Check the place out if you haven't!!!

This place is the best. There's so much to choose from and even if they don't have it they'll try to get it for you. I've tried out all sorts of produce you can't find in a typical grocery store and they always are willing to tell me what something is and how to use it. I love their selection of candies and drinks. Prices are much cheaper than any grocery store around for produce. I spent less than half the amount I would anywhere else.

The new owner did a stellar job with the new layout. It is much brighter and items are much easier to see and it is much nicer navigating through the store. I do wish there were prices on more items so I wouldn't have to ask. However, that is not an issue because they will happily lookup the price and they do it quickly. Speaking of which, the prices are lower than the supermarket on many items. The rice sack I purchase from the supermarket is half the size sold here and the Everest Asian Market price is still cheaper.

The owners are very kind and accommodating. Great Quality and Customer Service. If you cannot find a particular item, the owner is willing to order it for you and the item will be available the following week. Fresh produce is available on a weekly basis. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful owners and great place to shop. They have wide varieties and quality selections of vegetables....not to forget the reasonable prices. Cutomers are always greeted with a smile and the owners are very helpful and willing to get you the items you are looking for if not already in store. Again, it is a great environment to shop.... A small local Asian grocery (soon to be relocating to the back of the building into a much larger space.) Amazingly good and cheap greens, fresh veggies and fruits. Does special orders and manages to stuff a very wide range of basics and some hard to find items on the shelves.

Kash went above and beyond by special ordering a specific request I cannot find in Maine and went out of his way to make sure I received my order in Portland, ME! Great place for Indian and Asian groceries! My go to for rice noodle, Indian spices, Thai, Vietnamese, Sushi supplies. Their produce is usually fresh and far less expensive than a conventional grocery store.

I am thrilled that this wonderful market has decided to stay and grow in Essex Junction. The new renovation and developments are truly exciting and the owner is always helpful to a fault. He knows his inventory and is able to find exactly wheat I need. I recently spent 2 weeks in Vietnam where I participated in four cooking classes and I have been able to find everything I need to prepare those foods here at home.

Solid, small scale shop to pick up Asian imports and produce. Not a huge variety of produce, but enough to get the job done. Try going on Thursday evenings, as that's when they get their big produce shipments so you'll have the biggest variety of their freshest produce. Dried goods and sauce selection is decent. They carry some fun novelty imports too, like Ramune sodas and Pocky sticks. Family run business, so they've always been super friendly and helpful. I am used to larger Asian markets in the Boston area like Super 88, Kam man, or H Mart, so I may be a little biased in my expectations.

The store could really benefit from a reorganization....and guess what? They are supposed to do just that in a few weeks, so maybe it will be better then. The best thing about the store is that if you need a specialty Asian item, you're going to have your best chance in town to find it here.
