A place full of games, sci-fi and fantasy TV and movie memorabilia, costumes etc. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Dr Who, Star Trek, D&D and/or J. R. R. Tolkien, etc., then you have found the right place. Check out the Tardis, pick out a new wand and cape or a replica of the Borg Cube. You might even want to pick up a few Jammie Dodgers while your there.

The shop was absolutely awesome. It's small, but stuffed with so many things that a geek like me, my husband, and my kid could want -- Harry Potter, Doctor Who (including a huge TARDIS model), popular anime, dungeons and dragons, and classic movies represented in a great variety of items. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by the young man that was working this afternoon. While we walked around exclaiming about all of the cool stuff to each other, he stood stoically behind the counter with a deep frown switching repeatedly between his phone and the computer. That wouldn't have bothered us much on its own, but when we went to check out he was extremely put out by the whole thing and went as far as rolling his eyes at my son (who asked the price of small item with no tag) before assisting him by looking it up on the computer. I really wanted to leave this store 5 stars, but after going out of our way to stop in it was a bit of a disappointing experience. On a day with good staff I bet it's a lot of fun.

I was squeeeeeeeeeeeeeling in utter delight, before I was even able to get in the front door. There is NOTHING about this shop, and the people there, that doesn't say welcome home let your nerd flag fly! I truly wish I had more disposable income to take 1 or 2 of everything home with me!

This is a unique store nestled behind Wendy's off Rock Road (across from the East mall). There are many unique items such as shirts, gaming collectables to mugs and salt shakers. It goes by The Burrow I'm guessing because of the owners last name. They also refer to as Gifts for Geeks. A neat store to check out for a one of a kind gift for a reasonable price.

We need more places like this in Wichita! They have a large selection of otherwise niche things. From tabletop gaming, to your favorite fantasy series gifts and collector items, you will most definitely find something, even if you weren't looking.

My favorite shop! I call it "The Nerdery" and it should be required for all nerds to visit there at least once...a month. Like a pilgrimage, only don't walk. Just drive. These guys are kind enough to support local gaming by selling my game merchandise. I love their stock. Still the greatest store in town.

This is a really cool place. They're not super specialized, so if you're looking for something specific they might not have it, but they have a little bit of everything, including stuff I've never seen before. Their prices are good, the store is very cozy and inviting, and the owners are really nice. There are four tables for gaming in the back too, and they've got plenty of supplies and cool stuff for D&D. I'm running a game weekly on Wednesday at 6, so feel free to show up and ask for Mystara!

Sweet little shop. They have lots of nerdy themed stuff from goblets, t shirts, dice and a ton more. The store it's self is rather small ish, but they do well keeping the place neat and not feeling too crowded. Pricing is good and even have some locally made items. Deffinatly worth checking out. I don't live near by but I'd make it a point to visit next time I'm out that way.

The people who own and run The Burrow are very nice, you can tell they put a lot of love into The Burrow. "Gifts for Geeks" is right, and they have a great selection if you're looking for a gift for the geek in the family, your friend circle, or yourself! I used to participate in the card game communities here and made a lot of great memories back in the day! I unfortunately had to stop going due to my vehicle being unreliable, but I definitely love to visit from time to time when we visit the east side of Wichita!

Simply amazing is what comes to mind when I think of The Burrow. Staff is friendly and accommodating. This place has everything you would ever want for your nerd needs. Recently requested to allow Yu-Gi-Oh players to call this place home, and the owner welcome us all with open arms. Incredibly recommended, this is a MUST see. Wish I could give more stars.

My girls loved this place. Its small but has alot to offer. They walked around in circles for about an hour until they narrowed their purchases down to some chalice's for the kitchen table and some other items. It was clean and well organized and they had some fun items we haven't seen at similar stores. I believe there is a backroom for gaming but didn't actually join in on what sounded like fun.

This store has a little something for all kinds of geeks. Board game geek? Gottem. Trading card geek? Gottem. Anime geek? Space geek? Harry Potter geek? Fairy? Steampunk? Steampunk fairy? With the loss of places like Hastings and thinkgeek.com, this shop is a welcoming place that you will easily find something you want but didn't know existed. And grab a tasty British sweetie while you're there too! (I recommend the butterbeer)

A great place to get really niche collection items or paraphernalia. Not really a hobby store, no models, or painting supplies, drones, or boardgames, very small selection of dice. They do have a small selection of DND specific to-scale pre-painted miniatures. They are also loose minis, not in boxes and sell them on a flat pricing based on creature/base size. (Current pricing- $3 = small, $6 = medium, $9 = large.) Depending on market value of each mini, you could get a good deal. If not, at least you don't have to spend $15 for random minis you have duplicates of. Overall, I've had good experience here. The people working there haven't been very knowledgeable to my experience, which is a shame. Other than that I would recommend a visit.

Was just in the store with my family. We were searching for DnD related items such as unpainted mini figures, dungeon accesories, etc. We have been there in the past for other purchases and had a pleasant experience but felt their prices were high. This visit we had a different and mixed experience. When arriving at The Burrow the staff were outwardly friendly and helpful. I believe the owners were currently staffing the store. They pulled out chairs for my girls to watch Star Trek which was great. However, the male store clerk shadowed us around the store and, we felt, he believed we were attempting to steal. It wasn't until we were nearing the end of our trip there and realizing they did not have what we were seeking (unpainted mini-figs is what brought us in). We ended up only buying one thing when we likely would have spent a considerable amount more (they have some neat dice, and a fairly nice collection of Zelda related items currently in stock) without the outward hostile attention of the clerk. *After speaking, in a fashion, with the owner I would honestly like to believe it was the general awkwardness us geeks have that didn't happen to rub right with my family at the time.This is a great niche store and one Wichita desperatly needs. While there are other hobby stores and comic stores in the area there are no true fandom stores which is how I would classify The Burrow. * Made edits to this review due to the well thought out response from the Owner.
