It has always been a nicer FYE. Now it one of the last ones. (Lynnhaven Mall is weird anyways being one of the last malls around.) They did still have some DVDs and blue rays. You know what you walk in for all the cool movie/show propaganda.

I love this store! I hope more people give it the love it deserves, I always stop by when I get a chance. They have a good anime merch section, lots of DVDs and vinyl, really cool foreign candy and oversized candy. They have lots of nice shirts, a very friendly and helpful staff and neat the holidays I found merchandise for an otome game I love called Obey Me Shall We Date. I couldn’t believe it was there and I always check for more I hope they get some more in soon but that’s not up to specific locations. Shout out to the super friendly African-American woman who told me to call Wednesdays so they can check for me if what I’m looking for is in stock. :)

This store would get a higher star review simply because of the quality customer service I've received while visiting it but I found out last week they fired one of the best employees I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with bc he kicked a customer out whom was demanding a cash return on an item without a receipt.. FYE really messed up here imo bc ignoring the exceptional customer service they once offered the store now is just a bunch of action figures for sale 25% or more expensive than other retail options.

Pretty cool has lots of mha stuff and k pop. Lots of Pusheen and they sell vinyl records. Tons of Funko pops and DVDs also sold. They have DVDs of good TV shows movies and anime even ghibli.

Pricey is the reason for a 4 star. Otherwise, a neat store. Cool anime gifts and collectibles. Definitely closely related to Hot Topic merchandise (they are affiliated) but less clothes and more items. POPS are in abundance. Neat store all together.

The store is neatly organized. I would give this store a 5 star for cleanliness. The customer service here is awful..I went here 2 days in a row and the cashiers always talked to each other ( two female cashiers) and keeps talking while I am checking out.. didn't even say thank you or anything.. the cashier with a Navy sweater and curly hair just handed me the bag and says "here" and kept talking to her co worker..

It was pretty neat and organized. The products do not have labels though so I took off a star. I would've bought more if I knew how much things cost before I grabbed them.

Been walking in the mall the whole day visiting different store's and will say this has been the top 5 best personality store in the mall. They do have good deals if you sign up...it's free!

Pricey and kind of plain. I don't know if it's just not the type of store I am looking for but I have found a few cool things just not really a lot though. Cool Cthulhu statue but it was only one thing in the genre and nothing else. Seems like they could focus a bit more on that niche stuff and not the Japanese gummies and candies.

Peach Perrychute

This store location did not have much to offer (maybe due to seasonal low inventory). There were several empty shelves. There were items on shelves that either had been on the shelves long enough to collect dust or looked at and then put back and handled more than a couple of times causing the packaging to appear very worn/faded/crumbled/cracked. For items to be brand new and be priced as brand new the packaging should appear to be brand new. Most of the items in this store that should especially make for brand new gifts looked like they'd been purchased from an old, abandoned cardboard box and then priced and advertised as brand new. FYE is not a vintage/consignment store which makes this shocking and confusing. Lots of items whether they were collectibles or not or even the snack foods for sale or/and the bins of small cheap-looking toys were all overpriced. The employee that helped us was nice, patient. After explaining FYE 's membership for savings/rewards the same employee then shared that it is not a free membership to sign up for.

It was very nice, I saw some things in there that I had never seen before but it was a little overwhelming to sign up for their VIP thing. You have to sign 3 or 4 times it's very confusing and it's more beneficial to cancel it and renew it whenever you go in there.

It's an F.Y.E. so pretty typical. Hipster behind the counter who wears the expression of Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons. Weird kit-kat flavor from Japan and every movie from the 90's you didn't know you were looking for as well as the odds and ens to go with that movie. You ever been into an F.Y.E. anywhere? Well, it's like that but cleaner.

The store was really bland compared to the FYE I grew up with. There wasn't much selection considering the size of the store. It seemed to be trying to be an imitation of other pop culture stores we see today. Service was good however but there was only one employee. You might have a better chance going to Boxlunch or Hot Topic.

I have always liked this place. They have a very good assortment of specialty toys that you can't find in many other places. I'm not really into CDs but they seem to have a pretty good assortment of those as well. they also seem to have a pretty good assortment of DVDs and blu-rays. They do have a pretty cool but limited selection of specialty candies that are a little rare as well. I do worry that this place will not be around much longer because of other competition like hot topic and a couple other stores that seem to be popping up then I can't recall the names of.

This location of F.Y.E. is nestled inside the lovely Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach, Va. Lynnhaven mall is a true shopping mall, rather large but not Mall Of America huge. The mall is in a relatively safe and busy area. F.Y.E. is, if you've never been, a novelty shop dedicated to music and television entertainment themed merchandise. Specifically, dvds, cds, dvd box sets, vinyl records, record players, t-shirts, pop figurines, candy, headphones, etc. A large portion of the merchandise is anime related as well, so if you like that genre, you definitely want to visit. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are helpful and cheerful. As this location is inside a shopping mall, there are no restrooms or seating inside. You'll find plenty of that in the mall itself. There is no entrance outside of the mall, so prepare to have to traverse a minimal distance from a main entrance to get here. Would totally recommend a visit. This is a fun place to go.
