This place is awesome! Always a good atmosphere, the incense makes the place smell awesome, and the music playing is always excellent! And the staff are A+ quality, I know very little about glass for smoking, but they are always happy to explain things and features of different pieces. Chelsea(i think that was her name, my memory is bad) was especially helpful as she gave me a crash course is the use of a piece. If you're new or experienced with glass, they've got something for you!

Been coming here for the past 15+ years as it’s close by. Alright selection of glass and “hippie” gear. Overall it’s a neat spot to have around, although I thinks it’s lost most of its charm over the years as employees come and go and less desirable interactions occur with newer employees. Some just seem strangely out of place here with maybe their only common relation to the business is “smoke consumption”. It being a deadhead shop seems more and more like a facade as the years pass.

While I do still enjoy coming here to shop and even just browse sometimes. But I feel like they focus more on selling glass now instead of the general merchandise. The only reason I mark the store so low is because I had a terrible experience with one of the employees. There is this blond with a septum piercing that is completely rude AF. First she stands at the counter chatting with a (obvious) friend forever while.ol.just standing there waiting to actually buy something. Then when SHE finishes her conversation she comes over and acts like a complete idiot when I ask her questions about a product like it's her first day there. She has a rude demeanor and really rubbed me the wrong way.

had a good experience shopping here. mainly bc the store is very large with a lot of cool stuff to look at. i almost bought a bucket hat but didn’t. i was looking at some nice crystal necklaces & saw one i really liked but really didn’t plan to get. i seen the price was $4.99 and was shocked bc i feel like places like this usually kinda overpriced. i bought it & then bought a vape what i actually came there for :)

I adore the south county location. I've been shopping their for years. I had a great experience yesterday 12/02/17 around 11-1pm as I was shopping for a gift. Stephan was super knowledgeable about the stores products, made sure to point out the locally made products, gave detailed explanations when I asked questions. He was super friendly and patient. He even took the time to show me an app, help me download it, and work it to help save me money. He made my experience easy and effortless. I shop for myself and others here often even thou it's not as close to my house as other places i could go for the same things. They always have excellent selections and fair pricing. I love that they support local business and local artists. 10/10 would recommend

I really enjoy going to this store. Very colorful and and smells amazing. I love that they have refurbished handbags from army tents and tarps. Also I have to mention the team of employees were really nice and the enthusiasm to help me with any questions or just to look at something. Wonderful overall experience.

This place has been around for decades and for good reason...they carry the largest assortments of smoking utensils and anything for the hippie culture you can think of. Everything they have is good quality, but pricey. If money is no object, this is your place. A 7" acrylic bong ran me $32.31. You can find the same one online for half that, but then add on shipping and waiting for the post office to deliver it. All in all, this place is worth the stop from time to time.

I frequent this place twice a month. With the current situation I try to limit my trips to once a month because I live an hour away and only go to work and only essential trips. They have done a great job keeping stock and although a few months ago they would sometimes be out it has been a great relief that my last few trips they had my exact Kratom order and were so fast at delivering it curbside! We appreciate all you are doing in these uncertain times

Think that the workers here are nice and friendly, and they seem like they know what they are talking about. I noticed that the products they have are nice but, bought online in bulk for much cheaper sometimes with a standard random logo on it, then up charged. This is a serious problem for head shops. While I like this one and prefer it to others, I won't buy anything bigger than a pipe as everything in their store is over priced, and can be bought elsewhere for drastically cheaper.

They have the most wonderful hippie colored shirts, sweaters, scarves, tapestries, nicknacks,purses, backpacks, incense fragrance, the most adorable rocks and jewelry and they also have a huge selection of the neatest pipes,bongs, hookahs and other really cool items. I went in there last night and was amazed at all the cool stuff they had and the 3 clerks that were working were so extremely helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this cute establishment to anyone looking for hippie items for going to music festivals or buying something cute for your best hippie buddy. I will definitely return to this store!!!!!

This is what we would (way,way back in the day) call a "head" shop, only much bigger and better than the late 1960s, ( what little I remember of that time) It has 2 large rooms of clothing and art, and a huge room of all sorts of glassware. Absolutely great, friendly people working there. Well worth the trip to South county to see it and spend a little bit of my retirement money.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to be, and for a good reason. Not only do they offer a large selection of merchandise, but the overall environment is very peaceful and friendly. The workers are very helpful and fun to talk with, and I could spend hours checking out everything that they have there. Although I wouldn't recommend taking young children there, because of some of the drug paraphernalia, there is something there for everyone, no matter what sort of background. Even if it doesn't sound like your sort of place, I'd still encourage you to go, at least for the experience. No matter how I'm feeling, it never fails to make my day.

This little artsy store supplies me with my favorite incense. At our house, we just call it the "Hippie Store". Just walk in and look around and you will instantly know why. Great sixties ambiance with tie dye clothes everywhere. The clothes are, surprisingly, expensive. The place smells like heaven, and instantly improves my mood. Pulling in and out can be a bit tricky during busy hours, and the parking lot could use some repair.

Let me just start out by saying this establishment is superior compared to any other local recreational shops in the area. The main reason why I shop at Sunshine Daydream is because I take Kratom daily as part of my supplement regimen (helps with anti-anxiety & stomach issues). If you want to explore the world of alternative medicine, need a glass piece, or even some novelty gear, this is the place to be! As mentioned earlier in this statement, Kratom is my main focus each time I visit. I've been taking this supplement for about two years now, and I have also gained a lot of my knowledge from (formerly) working in a CBD/Kratom shop. I've never been able to walk into a shop like this and receive accurate knowledge on the products due to lack of research and information. I've had employees (at other establishments) falsify information just to try to sell their product, which is not okay in my book. Cody & Ryan have been fantastic from the first day I decided to take my business here, and have never let me down with their knowledge and recommendations on their products. In addition, I was also just put into a situation where I needed a detox product (outside of my expertise). Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a gentleman named Joel. Joel took the time to explain how each product worked, pricing points, and even recommended which would be best for my specific deadline. Huge shoutout to him for being so knowledgeable in that department! Lastly, I went into the shop (just last night) to grab some Kratom and ask if I could snap a few pictures for this review, which led to me eventually speaking to the General Manager whose name is Susan. Susan was a delight to speak with, and was very professional when answering all of my questions. To conclude this review, I would like to thank Susan and her team for being so hospitable each and every time I'm in need of a product. Again this establishment is superior to all others in the local area, and I will not be taking my business anywhere else anytime soon!

I love my Sunshine Daydream! It’s the perfect shop for your hippie soul. I really hope they get hula hoops in! That’s my jam! I bought their last hoops a couple years ago but they haven’t got any in and I think that would be a great market to target for all your flow artist/ hoopers in St. Louis. But seriously, I love this place! The atmosphere is peaceful, the employees are gnarly, and the merchandise never seems to fail. We need more Sunshine Daydreams around, like the one off Lindbergh!

It's a head shop. The staff is always friendly. Anything a stoner/hippy could need. A wonderful tie-dye selection, band t's (lots of Bob Marley, Zeppelin, and Grateful Dead) a wide selection of pipes, bongs, batties and e-pens, all the incense flavors and other knickknacks. A little pricey, but no more than any other head shop.
