Big store you can get lost if you go in there just to browse. So many options and ideas. There's always sales, but I live that the carry diamond art painting. Just be sure to go in knowing what you want or you could be there for hours. The cashier's are nice, the store is clean and very organized.

I haven been in here a few times in search of craft items. They have a lot of options and areas for crafting needs. I know you can also score some good clearancr deals when you find them. It does seem compact inside to me. The store location is big, but I think they just have a lot of stuff in the store which isn't bad just seem compacted in.

I have shopped at Michaels for years. I love the fact that are open on Sundays and have a little bit of everything, including a nice Pride display. The lines can get long but most places are struggling with enough help. The bathroom isn't the best, but it does the trick and I like the coupons alot.

Didn't get what I originally wanted but was able to find something just as good thanks to the help of their staff. The only suggestion I would make is to call the store before you go to make sure that what it says online is true and accurate to what they have. Their stock on certain items is low or gone and it's because they are waiting on the trucks to bring these items and unfortunately they are not the only store dealing with this. I still gave 5 stars because the shipments are out of their control.

I love Michael's as a store, but I can never find help when I need it. And every time I've been in there, there's only one cashier and a long line. Just recently, I couldn't find what I was looking for and the line was so long that I had to leave as I was on limited time that day. The ribbon was overpriced as well. Best place to buy ribbon at a reasonable cost is Walmart!

I was so appreciative that the manager gave me a refund on my 3 packs of 8 1/2 × 11 colored cardstock even though the receipt had expired. I applied the credit towards two other items at regular cost. She went out of her way to be kind. The clerk was also very kind! At this crazy time in our country, kindness even goes a longer way. Excellent choice of Halloween items - they even have a"romantic" area!! I'd never thought of that before, but if dark & creepy's not your thing, this would be perfect. Went looking for photo albums though & they had a decent selection. Found an even prettier one than I got at Hobby Lobby, so I left happy. Cashier wasn't very engaged, but sadly that's par for the course in customer service nowadays! Always liked Michael's - very pleasant store, good & varied selection of all kinds of crafting items & more, I will return.

Safety shields, employee masks, & social distancing guidelines made me feel safer. Utter lack basic decency on the part of several, but not all, customers, not so much. But still love the things here I can't find anywhere else: Yarn, home decor, mini garden stuff, candy molds, various crafts... One of my favorite places to shop.

Background: never been in Michaels before. I rarely shop for arts and crafts. I was brought along to purchase an item with a coupon since only one coupon can be used per person. I thought that the aisles were quite narrow. Appeared to have a decent selection of things I doubt I'll ever purchase. Took longer than expected to get to the register with only two people ahead of me. The lady working the register for my line was nice and polite. Overall: Nothing bad to say but nothing exciting either. If I ever needed what they sold and I lived near the store, I would consider purchasing from there again.

The best thing about Michaels is they're open until 9. Other than that, I've found stuff I need (drawing supplies) is often not in stock, and they leave up broken stock. They lock the doors at about 5 til, so just know that. The staff is helpful, but they're often hard to get a hold of (because they're running around stocking stuff). I gave this place 3 stars because it exists, ya know

Very little signage to explain where to pick up my online order. The employee I asked, while friendly, did nothing to take and show me where to find it. Rather, they simply pointed me in the general direction leaving me just as lost as when I entered the store. Not a good impression for my first time being in their store.

You can get some nice quality stuff there if you know what to look for for decent prices if on sale however customer service could be a bit better and some of there other items you can get at Walmart or target for same thing can be a bit to high priced. Other then that it's a decent place.

Took framed photos in to have acid free backing put on. The gal looked at it, said if you wait I'll do it. 5 minutes later and $5. later, I walked out with 2 pictures done! Outstanding service

Tons of things to look at here, both craft related and decor. The organization is a bit wonky, and it feels like they could use a larger staff. If you have a question, it can be tricky to find someone r to ask who isn't busy at a checkout counter. Unfortunately, when I finally find someone to ask, they didn't have an answer, and he actually just left me standing there to help someone else instead. I left before finding out the answer to my question.

I went to get India ink and went for the bigger bottle, I wound-up buying a bottle of calligraphy ink... don't do that... it seems to be a medium gray. Why does the bottle say black? I actually got help from another customer in finding the quil pen inks The cashier was a sweetie and was very patient as I went through my best option for payment with my cards for each item, she's a real treasure!

Even though the Sioux Falls location is small, I can usually find everything I need. I also downloaded the app. I can quick search to see if the store has what I need, all the coupons are in one location & the app even offers craft projects

While they don't always have the more specialized paint colors of a Blick or other art store, what they do have is fairly priced, and occasionally on sale. I get most of my supplies here because I REFUSE to shop at Hobby Lobby (because of their narrow-minded politics. I don't know what Michael's political leanings are, and that's how it ought to be...)

It's a smaller Michaels, but there is still a good selection since it's filled to the brim with crafting supplies. They have fewer options than Hobby Lobby or Joann's in Sioux Falls since their store is physically smaller, but so long as you're not looking for anything too specific, it's a wonderful option, and very close to the S. Louise Walmart as well. I've also had better luck with employees being helpful and friendly here than I have at the other craft stores. Michael's is generally my go to store unless I'm looking for something (like I Love this Yarn brand yarn) that I can't find at Michael's.

Great craft store, plenty of supplies for your artistic hobbies, including paints, models, artificial flowers, drawing, and many more. Hobbies such as r.c. and drones aren't covered here, but there are good stores in town for those. So check them out, and get your artistic side flourishing.

Online orders are kind of a pain to pick up. You have to go back to the framing area and wait for someone to come out of the back room and help. Or wait while a customer finishes ordering custom frames in order to pick up your order. I only shop here regularly because Jo Ann is closed still after the tornado damage.

Sioux falls Michaels has the least amount of painting supplies out of all the Michael's I've been to. The Michaels stores themselves aren't bad it's just that I thought Sioux falls would have more supplies since it's the biggest town I've been to with a Michaels store
