We went in to find a box to hold my mints. It's a very odd and specific need but I got them in bulk and want to take them in my purse so - purse box full of mints. We found the perfect sized plastic box back in the scrap booking area. I was thrilled! We walked around for a good 30 minutes looking at att the neat decor and things we might use around the house. It's been a little while since we went in but it's always neat to check out. The seasonal area is always worth checking out.

This is another "date night" for my wife and I, usually it's to be expected to spend a bunch of money but you can also find great deals if on a budget, customer service is actually really really good and everyone is very pleasant to converse with, so great store to get holiday items or just regular house dressings - entire tree decorated and tree purchased at hobby lobby exclusively Santa photo also from hobby lobby

We went to Hobby Lobby about 7pm on Sunday night to get supplies for my granddaughter to be able to design her jeans for homecoming for her senior year. They are called senior jeans and each senior designs their own. We found everything we needed except some paint brushes. While standing in line to check out I look at the end cap for our check out lane and there on the bottom shelf is the exact paint brushes we needed so now I didn't need to go to another store. We were in and out of the store in 20 minutes. As a bonus she got to get some candy she loves. The coconut striped bar that has pink brown and white. She was so exited and all for less than $45.00. We bought several bottles of paint, fabric glue, a couple bottles of fabric glue. A container of different colored gems and a couple of bandana's

A good store for all your crafting needs. Or decorating needs. Or furnishing needs really. They have a little bit of everything, and a lot of it. Stores are almost always clean and well organized except when there's a changing of the seasons.

Awesome store with endless choices. One word of advice - use barcode scanners at the checkout! We waited in line for 20 minutes and there was only two people ahead of us! For the love of all humanity - use barcode scanners already!

I’m only putting this many stars because of the sweet cashier who was treated so badly. Gary at the Hobby Lobby in Sioux Falls was awful. He was so rude to me when I came into get my fabric cut. When I went to check out, I had a confusing return and eventually led to Gary having to be called up to help. He was unbelievably rude to the gal helping us to the point she was crying. Gary needs some communication training or find a new job because how he treats both customers and employees is disgusting.

Overall the store is good. You could do worse as far as retail goes but I've had good luck overall with most of the stuff Hobby Lobby has and I like how they carry items for hobbies that no one else even comes close to. It is expensive in some departments and I do think that Hobby Lobby does carry some junk in some areas more than it should (seasonal is really bad at this). The other issue is the checkout process; this place is slow and cumbersome when it comes to checking out and the poor cashiers are overburdened with the manual scanning and pricing of each item (not to mention dealing with the customer base here). It is horribly slow, to be honest.

So - I am not in Hobby Lobby often - it isn’t my forte - but my wife loves it! I needed supplies for a project I am working on however - and thought I would start with Hobby Lobby - as they are a known craft store. I wasn’t sure where I would find what I was looking for - so asked an employee who brought me right to where it was at. Prices were decent and I was able to get in and out with ease! It seems each time I have come to Hobby Lobby, they are in stock with what I need or what my wife is looking for, and the employees here at this location tend to always be helpful!

I feel like I'm stopping in here at least twice a week if not more. Since it's on my route, I always find a reason to pick something up for the studio or home. My absolute favourite is the organization! Everything is logically and tastefully organized, and displayed! The store is always clean. The employees are pleasant and knowledgeable! I was in this past Saturday and I had my three children with me. My son dropped and broke a decoration that he picked out for his room. I gave him one of those disguised looks as I would have to now pay for it and can't use it. We walked up to the counter to pay. When I told the person checking me out about what happened, he very kindly said we did not have to pay for it and just asked where it happened. I thanked him and thanked him.

Prices & selection are great but employees were not eager to offer assistance. Walked around the frame department & several employees worked to avoid eye contact although they were close enough to trip over me. One gal stood & stared at me while I worked to get to a frame because the boxes she was emptying were in my way, and presumably I was holding her up from task completion. Oddly, I even apologized to her because she looked so annoyed with me. Not a fun shopping experience.

I quit going to Hobby Lobby because of some of the issues I have with the store and staff, but I went to their new location 2 times to give it another shot. I find it difficult to find things because of the layout of the store. Aisles run different directions around the outside edges of the store, and the middle of the store is a mess of aisles and displays. For a craft store, I find their selection of fabric to be lacking. It's an extremely simple selection that I would expect to find in the WalMart craft section. It is super hard to find any staff if I need help finding something or have a question. In such a confusing layout they really need to have a better guide system or have more staff walking around. The staff at the fabric counter are slow and inefficient every single time I've bought fabric here. They take a frustratingly long time helping each customer, and they have to write the ticket by hand. This means they have to write the price of each cut of fabric, write the sale price of each cut if its on sale, then total it all up on a calculator. The checkout is equally as inefficient as the fabric counter. Prices are typed into the register by hand, any sale prices are typed in manually, then coupons are entered by hand. Hobby Lobby seems like a great store for framing, home decor, floral crafts, jewelry making, and kids crafts. However, for fabric and string crafts I will always go to a competitor because of their lack of selection and their super slow systems. Factor in the awful layout and not being able to get help, and I will probably not go back here for awhile.

Paradise for anyone. Since I work there I’ll clear some complaints up. Low number of Cashiers: We call people up when we get busy, if there is a low number our employees are not answering their page. Small Shopping Carts: You can ask a person for a flat bed to take some of your items and have them put to the front for your convenience. Closed on Sunday’s: we are a Christian based store and we give employees a Sunday off based on God’s day of rest. If he rested we need a rest too. Not finding what you need?: We don’t have everything! ;)

I have had some custom frame and case work done and each time the staff had the bar with the quality of work that is completed, at very reasonable cost. It is worth every dime to preserve memories. Requests completed: Football action pictures, Newspapers Sport Clippings, Diplomas, and Football cases. Next project will be a football Jersey! Cannot wait!

They just moved recently too a new location and the store is much bigger now too. So much more to find and discover. It is soooooo much nicer then the last locationand that was beautiful too. I could spend days and probably weeks on end 24/7 in there and still find something new and exciting. I just LOVE Hobby Lobby. It is one of my all time favorite places to visit and it always has been and it always will be. There will never be a better store to find home decorations and craft supplies then this store. The only bad thing is since they moved they don't carry a whole lot of coloring things like the books and the gel pens like they used to and that's really too bad because that is one of the major reasons I started shopping there so many years ago. Of course I discovered all the rest of the great things they have too. Hopefully they will bring back those types of art supplies back again real soon our umm going to have too find some other store that carries that stuff.

I really like everything except for customer service. I've had a couple different things framed and they act like if you don't see the bell to ring they don't see you. It's odd. Another time I had a very large mirror that I had an employee bring to the front for me. I didn't really know how to get it to my car with a toddler, but figured it out on my own. Once I got to my car I realized it would of been nice to be offered a hand. I don't it'll affect me going there again, the deals make up for it.

My favorite place to pick up drawing supplies in town. Wish it had more charcoal drawing items. Can be pricey without coupons. Hobby Lobby seems to be marketing more towards Pinterest project ladies and not regular artists, the amount of professional art supplies compared to Pinterest project items is lacking a bit. Boooooyyyyy hobby lobby was a zoo today warm weather brought out the crafters and big savers everything was on sale, from the frames to the fake flowers from the knobs to the knicker boppers. Parking lot had people parking sideways, hey I found everything my wife needed, no help to the workers, they were for sure short staffed but the made it happen, on the overhead speakers you heard a soft voice say..... We need so and so to register 6 code 1, painting to register 3 code 6... Yeah it was the weather almost 50 degrees, South Dakota, February... Oh yeah... Pure mayhem.. People hit hobby lobby looking for all their winter wish list waiting for spring to show it's face. I could see it in the faces of most of the men there, that we were there against our wishes but oh well.
