Reviews of Seattle Best Tea
Stopped by Seattle Best Tea and trued their Heavy Oolong Tea and Kiwi milk tea with boba. The kiwi milk boba tea was refreshing but the heavy oolong was too strong for my taste. It is a great choice for tea lovers as you can taste the notes in every sip. Service is pretty quick and the owners are welcoming explaining what their best sellers are and also help you make a choice if you are confused. Highly recommend giving them a try.
The tea is really good! They have lots of flavors. I tried the Passion Tea Milk Tea and it was really good. You can adjust the sweetness level (not all boba cafes do that).
This tea spot is right in the heart of Seattle's Chinatown. It's a small location that transcends time and culture by allowing a mixture of old school tea room, combined with new school boba tea. The boba tea is priced far superior to others of it's kind. Also, they only serve one size which is large, for the price of $5.25 per drink without even charging for extras (jelly, boba, popping boba, etc). This is how boba tea should be. Other places are charging upwards of $6.50-$8 for the same experience. I miss the good old days of average priced bubble tea and this place definitely serves it up. The service is also respectful and kind. I'm only visiting, but this would be a regular spot for when I return to Seattle's best tea joint.
They really back up their name with actions! The tea flavors are amazing and the boba is not soggy and just the perfect amount of chewiness. We have a handful of great boba places in San Diego and this shop rivaled some of my favorites.
They even have a board with a list of best sellers and local recommendations if you are feeling adventurous. Had the Peach Coconut Milk Tea which was nice and sweet; would recommend that one if you like fruity drinks. Also had the brown sugar boba and that one really hit the spot too!
The customer service and the boba were both fantastic in this little Boba tea place. One of the best boba I've had in Seattle and walkable from the link light rail international district. You take a receipt with a number and wait for it to be called.
I ordered boba tea, since this shop was in china town area I was expecting something different but it’s like boba tea from any other place.
The service was fast and the staff were nice.
Very friendly and informative staff.
Appreciated their honesty about pricing and quality of products. Felt like they would steer us to exactly what I wanted (except I wasn't 100% sure at the time I was there)
I had intended to go back for these cups (photo in the review) but I was unable to.
It's very convenient to get here as it's very close to the sky train. Unfortunately I did not try the tea there.
We were super tired after the Mount Rainier hike in Seattle, and in our way back we were craving for some juice or drinks, to quench our thirst.
All thanks to my friend who recommended and take me to this place. The queue was super long, at least 10 customers before me. Finally, we ended up ordering Mango boba and Macha boba tea, it was definitely worth waiting and I’ll tell you that it was just the perfect drink after that long tiresome hiking.
Sorry, I forgot to take the picture of actual drink.
The guys working when I ran in were so nice! I ate some really spicy poke and just wanted to not feel like my mouth was on fire. I don’t know what they made me but it’s delicious and helped so much!
Great milk tea, although the boba pearls aren't the best. Not soft and sweet.
This is classic value boba. I really appreciate that the toppings are free, as a person that loves toppings, this was great. The teas use syrups to flavor, which is okay. The boba texture was not that good, hard okay the inside and too soft on the outside. The strongest aspects of this place are the price and the character. With the amount of new boba places opening in seattle, it is important to appreciate the family businesses that started the trend. They are opening a location in U District, which will hopefully do well. I recommend you stop by and see how boba started in seattle.
Delicious and authentic place. 10/10 brown sugar milk tea with tapioca. Would highly recommend this place
Seattle Best Tea is a great place for teas and milk teas! Everything I tried there has been solid. There is a good selection of teas to choose from with plenty of toppings at no additional charge.
There are no "modern" drinks that a lot of new milk tea places have adopted, but if you're looking for just good, old-fashioned milk tea then this is definitely a place to consider!
Hands down the best bubble tea in Seattle. Hot or cold, both are just perfect! I have tried so many bubble teas around Seattle but nothing beats the flavor of this place. The people running the shop are so friendly. I recommend everyone try this place at least once when you are in Seattle. I bet you’ll keep returning.
Tried this place twice in a week and ordered both times the strawberry milk tea.
It was an amazing drink and their service is as amazing as their drinks.
A must try drink!
Thanks to the excellent reviews, we had to try this place as we were waiting for our Korean hot dogs. I enjoyed my Oolong tea. It was creamy and delicious. My toddlers loved their mango bubble tea. So good. Recommend.
I got the hot classic milk tea and it was really tasty; not too sweet.
They do toppings for free here but I didn't get any.
The decor here is really cute! I wish the seating area was open.
I frequent this place so often they know me by name, which is probably a sign I should cut back on boba intake, but it's definitely my favorite boba place in all of international. Really chill, no frills, run by really sweet and funny staff that have never once messed up my order. They have legit good tea, so good that sometimes I just skip the milk and boba and just order iced tea. There's a good variety of options, including hot tea, and they have ice cream too. Super recommended for tea fans.
Our favorite milk tea in the centralish part of Seattle. Also best priced for sure. Super friendly staff who chat with you and are willing to teach about their selection of fine teas.
The staff here are so sweet! Like other reviews claim, not the typical milk tea - but in my opinion it’s better than the high processed ingredients other places use. It costs 3.99 for this strawberry milk tea (added tapioca balls for free) and it’s huge! The have this organic tea section in the back where people can sit (sometimes people bring their own guitar and play). Definitely a MUST STOP if you’re in international district!
Seattle Best Tea was a great little tea shop! Growing up in LA, I've admittedly gotten bored of going to typical boba shops, and was turned off to the idea of coming here with my friends. However, this place was anything but typical. The owner was extremely informative, and definitely knew her stuff when it came to tea. She gave us all samples of the ice creams and teas she served, including her "best tea ice cream" which is based on a wintermelon tea. I decided to get it as a milkshake, and was not disappointed by the subtle sweetness that complimented the ice cream. My girlfriend got a lychee milk tea, and we could tell that it wasn't just flavoring because we could feel the little bits of lychee in the drink. Certainly a great place for authentic ingredients and superb flavor.
One of the best tea shop in greater Seattle area. Don't consider it as the same as other bubble tea shops. This shop is the expert of tea. They mainly providea high quality tea and sell them as packages. The owner is happy to share the knowledge of tea and you can have the tasting. If you want to learn more about tea, this place is an ideal place, just come and sit down with the owner then talk about tea.
25% sugar and still delicious!
I was visiting the International District and I thought that this restaurant was one of the higher reviewed places and I was craving some bubble tea. After walking inside I realize that this place was even more authentic than I believed. You can definitely taste the tea when you order the drinks. They also serve ice Cream And macaroons
Got their jasmine milk tea with boba (75% sugar) and heavy oolong milk tea with grass jelly and egg pudding (50% sugar). Their tea was really good. I would say this shop is better than the other milk tea chains in the area. Free toppings and cheaper than other places, but taste better. What more can I ask for?! I recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.
I love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, I enjoyed having a conversation with them as they made my drinks. They’re also really quick so you don’t wait too long. I love their heavy oolong milk tea. I’m not from Seattle, but when I come visit again, I will definitely stop by. The size and price is perfect. Truly Seattle’s best tea.
One of the best experiences I have had at a tea shop. I didn't know much about the higher quality loose tea and how to brew it. They showed me the right way to brew it and allowed me taste the tea before I bought it. They treat you like family and I would recommend this tea shop to anyone that enjoys tea.
Found this place on a whim as I was walking around Chinatown and man am I glad I stopped in! The coffee boba tea with tapioca jelly I had was almost as good as my cousin's passion fruit with lychee. the staff here are awesome, and recommended that we get the tapioca and lychee toppings respectively, which made all the difference. I may have been playing tour guide for my relatives, but I know I'll be back here again next time I find myself in Chinatown.
Great bubble tea and ice cream choices. Pick any of the top choices for drinks and you wont be disappointed. Also has some unique ice cream flavor like durian, brown sugar and green tea.
great quality. they have a variety of options and they even have soy, almond, and coconut milk for dairy free options. it’s less expensive than most boba places around like share tea and happy lemon but it’s so delicious. i’ve never been disappointed here.
I love that this is a small business, the owner is so nice and everyone who works there greets you with a smile.
But, most importantly: their drinks are AMAZING. They have unique flavors and the more common ones. They make ice cream-smoothie-milk tea-shakes that are so good they make me want to come by every day.
The heavy oolong milk tea (and shake) with boba is a must try. :)
The #1 place to get boba. That is all you need to know. Staff is super super friendly and welcoming. I usually order the Matcha milk tea with extra boba. An amazing taste. There is a wide variety of flavors and tea types to choose from!
Honestly the best tapioca balls in Seattle - super bouncy, chewy and QQ的- if you know, you know. The brown sugar milk tea is a classic but the fruity flavors like lychee are all great choices! It always has a line for a reason :P
Love that they have a chrysanthemum tea and give you a free topping! Really refreshing on a hot day. Not watered down at all with just the right level of sweetness (25%)
Always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend taking the time to try some of their teas. They have High Mountain teas and many other high quality specialty teas.
Got the winter melon milk tea! Nice price, great service! Overall I really enjoyed this drink
This is NOT the typical kind of bubble milk tea that you'll find in any other bubble milk tea store. Normally bubble milk teas will taste like milk+flavoring+sugar. Their bubble milk tea blends with Traditional Chinese Tea taste, which is very unique as I have never ever seen this anywhere ever. They're milk teas are also super cheap!!! Besides selling teas, they do sell various variety of Chinese Teas. The store owner is super friendly as well.
This place is worth a try. It was recommended by a friend of mine and I definitely do not regret trying this!!!
First time here and got the black milk tea with boba. This place at 4.50$ a milk tea with toppings is a great price point however there was no flavor. The boba especially had no flavor and was just chewing on tapioca, wish it had some brown sugar or honey on the boba. I should’ve shook my drink to stir as well. Friendly service.
Great tea. It’s a small place and it’s usually crowded.
This place lives up to its name. The employees always make my day, the milk tea is so good. I've tried all the flavors and they haven't disappointed. The ice cream is also really good and the area is chill. If you're new to Seattle, I recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!
My Favorite drinks are Taro or chocolate milk tea as for toppings I always choose Boba aloe vera/coconut jelly and egg pudding. For a first time, I recommend trying taro with 25% sweetness with tapicoa
Best boba I’ve ever had In my entire life, super friendly and had to come back to let them know how of a amazing job they did and how delicious the boba milk tea was. Would definitely recommend and come back again 100%
Best employees ever. They were very friendly and you get to customise your own drinks (though don't do it when it's busy)
Best Boba tea shop I've been to in Seattle, you can tell the Boba is homemade and not preprocessed like many other Boba shops around the city. Also absolutely incredible service, they always seem to be so happy to see you come in and they welcome you like a friend. After reading the other reviews, I can't wait to try their ice cream and other kind of teas.
O my gosh. The best in seattle, the best i have ever had. The nicest folks work there, ma and pa are great. Cris the worker is amazing, friendly and sure makes good choices to drink. Thank yall
It aight. Pretty normal milk tea except I think got mild diarrhea from it.
Good bubble tea for a good price, very nice service. I've had some really exceptional bubble tea before, so need to save the five stars for those times. But you can't go wrong here!
We had such a great experience here! My brother is learning Chinese so he brought us here while our sister was visiting from college. Everyone was so nice and teaching is about the tea traditions like how to pour, how the tea should look and how it should taste. Three woman that helped us also helped my brother with his Chinese and was very playful with my baby. I will definitely be back with my family again!
This is my favorite place to get a blended honeydew milk tea in Seattle! Their taste is just the best in the area. Highly recommend this place. I had to edit my review because every time I go their staff is so friendly!
Honestly, I've traveled the world and still haven't had a tea better. I spoke to the owner, and there's a great story behind it too.
AMAZING drinks, ice cream, and loose leaf! Honey jasmine and heavy oolong are soo good. Best staff and friendly environment. Truly the best tea in Seattle. Thank you!!
First This place is always friendly, Second this place have the best flavor and The price is very cheap for the size they offer. Third For those who are not a Boba tea addict and saying this place is not good then you should try all other places then come try this place last. Because of my wife I had drank at many places even the popular ones and they are nothing compare to this place. I honestly would deal with traffic just to come here than other places that are convenient for my commute home with little to no traffic.
Got the honey lemon jasmine tea, so flavorful and refreshing! You can really taste the jasmine honey flavor coming through. Also they don’t overfill the ice! Definitely coming back 😊 …
Average boba tea, nothing special. Better off heading down the street to Yomi
In terms of the classic bubble tea flavors and the cost of the bubble tea, no one in Chinatown beats out Seattle best tea. I have found that this place sells some of the most affordable bubble tea in the neighborhood, and they have a good variety of flavors.
The name of this store says it all. I've taken many people here and they ALL Agreed that this is DEFINITELY the best Bubble Tea they have had. We all got the classic Black Milk Tea and the flavors are just not like what you've had at other stores. I've tried SO many other teas and this is just perfect.
No need to choose sugar level.
No need to choose ice level.
They make it just right.
Can't go wrong with the classic but I bet all their other teas are good too. I just love the black milk tea so much that I haven't tried the other ones. Reasonable prices too.
Also, they have a punch card for 1 free tea for every 10 you get. They use to keep the cards in store but since Covid, they just give it to you now and you can hold on to it but the old cards are all still there in the corner.
Hands down the best mom and pop tea shop in the International District. Large variety of Taiwanese imported tea, great place to taste test, and best of all, if you just want bubble tea or other tea flavored ice cream, they have it! Toppings are unlimited and included, but their true value is high quality tea leaves used in their bubble tea. Made fresh daily and real milk (and milk alternatives). The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the store staff as well. Don’t be shy and come in to their iconic store located under the huge China town gate!
Absolutely zero falsehoods in the name, seriously the best tea/boba place I’ve had in Seattle, try the almond jelly if you’re not into boba texture
Got the #4, best tea i’ve ever had, super creamy and good flavor. Environment was awesome. Super popular place.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. So so kind. I was looking for Thai tea but the shop owners kindly informed me that they were Taiwanese and instead the closest option was black tea and it was SO GOOD!!!
Wow, haven’t had milk tea this good since I was in China ☺️ I love that they make it clear you can choose your sweetness level. For me NO added sugar is the best, I add jellies and red bean and they are sweet enough. I heard some other Chinese people near me commenting that their tea was too sweet because they didn’t specify, so if you don’t like sweet drinks just ask for 0% sweet!
Tried the milk tea with peach boba, it was extremely filling, a tad bit sweet, but you can always ask them to reduce the sweetness
Also tried peach tea with passion fruit popping boba, this was a very refreshing drink and the boba would pop quickly giving it a lemony flavour
The tea is great, and their customer service is even better. The guy who made my tea was able to tell that something was wrong with my order; even though I said I didn’t mind drinking what I was given, he was determined to get me the drink that I wanted.
The place was relatively cheap and had many drink options, plus they give stamp cards! The drink I had was a sweet mango tea with mango jellies and I got a lot for what I paid for, so I'll definitely come back again 😁 …
Nice staff and fairly priced bubble tea but nothing special. I definitely don't think they are the best tea in Seattle. If you're looking for unique bubble tea I recommend "Don't Yell at Me".
This IS the best milk tea!! So good, I like it so much! Better than ever
This is a traditional tea shop that also sells bubble milk tea. I love the complex flavor of their original black milk tea. They use fresh milk instead of nondairy creamer, and their flavored teas also use real ingredients instead of flavored powders. If you like the base flavor tea they use, you can buy those same tea leaves or other types of teas from the shop as well.
They are super nice!!! The mango smoothie is so good!!!
You should definitely try some finest hot teas there -- absolutely the best around!
The teas are delicious and toppings taste fresh. We tried the Pink Lady (a refreshing drink with leche), Taro milk tea, and matcha tea. The prices were very reasonable, and toppings are unlimited & free!
There are vegan options and they have milk alternatives, even though it's not clear on their menu.
The milk tea here is amazing. It's super flavorful, with a great balance between any flavor you choose and the tea notes. I like that certain flavors have real fruit pieces (e.g., there are taro pieces in the taro milk tea). Also toppings are included in the price, so you can simply have whatever you want without having to consider additional costs.
The people are also extremely friendly and kind.
One of the best milk teas I have ever had! The boba was perfect consistency and tea was so fresh and flavorful. On top of that, service was so friendly! The gentleman at front was very helpful and had such a positive energy. Feels great to support this business that has been here since 1996. Will be back for sure!
Hands down the best bubble tea place around. Smoothies have fresh fruit and tea is done fresh when ordered. Everything on their menu I have tried has been a knock out. And you can grab an amazing corn dog next door to go with. Can't recommend enough.
We stopped by after grabbing groceries at nearby Uwajimaya. We really like our bubble tea and after reading several reviews and articles, we were hoping Seattle Best could live up to the hype! I ordered a black milk tea with tapioca and my partner ordered a heavy oolong tea.
Oh my gosh! If you’re a tea lover, their bubble tea will be right up your alley. In each flavor the tea was front and center, and the milk and sweetness level accompanied the tea perfectly. (Maybe a little sweeter than I personally prefer by default, but I can’t deny it was a perfect balance!) My black tea evoked memories of brewing a gift of loose leaf assam tea in my friend’s dorm in college and learning for the first time how the world of tea was much more than Lipton.
We went back this morning to grab 2 other flavors (taro and green tea) and we were similarly impressed. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. A word of warning, though… this may be the place to set a new bar for your tea expectations!
Delicious boba and very kind staff! They use real milk unlike many other places - and will even substitute non-dairy milks at no additional charge. Fresh and tasty ☺️
Best bubble tea place in Seattle. If you don't rate it 5 stars you're a monster.
High quality tea, fresh milk, well balanced drinks, soft & succulent boba, loads of flavors, cute quaint shop, good price, free toppings, customizable sweetness level...
I could go on. They're serious when they say it's "Seattle['s] Best Tea." This is the highest level of bubble tea I have had in the city, and I drink a lot of bubble tea. The customer service is good too, I've been here many times and service is always prompt and friendly.
Definitely would recommend.
Go to flavors: Taro (classic boba tea experience), Light Oolong (more emphasis on the tea part), or Passion Fruit (great tangy fruity flavor with your milk tea.)
Please never change!
Best boba tea I've ever had. Highly recommend the heavy oolong. I've always had to ask boba places to adjust the sugar and ice level to be around 50-75% but this place got it just right and I didn't need to ask for any adjustments. The boba is fresh and warm and chewy too
I thought the tea and bubbles were just OK. The smoothie tasted very powdery and left me bloated and the taro tasted odd, not like other taro tea I have had before. We couldn’t finish drinking either drinks.
I have definitely had better (outside of Seattle). However, the customer service was top notch and the people helping us were incredibly friendly!!!
I always drink heavy oolong milk tea. because they're tea shop, their tea are really good and I think matches boba too.
even if you don't drink boba, they also sells ice creams and does plain tea tasting and you can buy the tea leaves too so I think its worth checking out if you like tea, boba, and/or icecream.
Taro ice cream is *delicious* here
Durian ice cream tastes like garlic I don’t understand why
Teas are yummy
Boba a little too soft/overcooked for my liking
2nd time visiting here and staff are SUPER NICE! The gentleman at the front counter is very friendly and welcoming! Best Jasmine Milk tea I ever had...no exaggeration! It’s authentic and it doesn’t make my stomach hurt unlike other places who uses powder! I’m happy my friend relocated here from Florida from work, this will be my go to place for tea!!! Must try and only $4.95
It was our first time there and it did not disappoint! We got the jasmine and Taro milk tea along with a ice cream with 2 different flavors. Everything tasted good and the guy who was working was very friendly.
This is definitely an excellent bubble tea place in Seattle. I tried the mango flavour and it was very tasty and fresh, not like a lot of the fake mango flavours you would find at other shops!
The pearls were also pretty decent, definitely not a bad boba place. The owner is also really friendly as well and in the interior there is a kinda cool Chinese tea set. Would go again!
Wonderful little place to buy loose teas in bulk or get fresh drinks. They’re super accommodating and go the extra mile to make sure your order is just the way you want it! Such nice staff and mom-and-pop atmosphere make it a great stop while exploring the International District.
Their strawberry milk tea has crushed strawberries in it. Delicious! 🍓
How could you argue with a name like that?
It is indeed, Seattle, Best, Tea.
They have a rewards program too!
Cozy interior, hasn't been overrun by strange people on the outside.
(outside the usual strange Seattle people)
Come here if you are passing through the city for whatever reason and need a bubble tea! It's right next to the fancy arch thing.
The tea here is amazing, but honestly, it's the customer service that makes it 5 stars to me. EVERYONE who works here is just so beyond nice, helpful, and just all around amazing with customers. My boyfriend and I walk to get smoothies (I love pineapple/strawberry, and Honeydew/Mango was referred to me by the main guy who always helps us) and bubble tea about once a week, and we have never been even slightly disappointed with our drinks, ice cream, or the service!
Enjoyed the tea itself, but didn't get the boba in her drink. Not sure how the heavy oolong is different from light oolong, but the heavy had a creamy texture, like they used heavy cream. Want to come back to try the jasmine tea and tapioca!
pretty good they had free toppings tea was well priced considering this was in seattle
I’ve been going to Seattle Beast Tea since the inception and it’s my favorite boba place that focuses purely on tea - no overly sweet specialty concoctions. Not only is the boba, tea and ice cream exactly what you need after a long day, the owner is very hospitable and friendly as well. Definitely a great addition to the Seattle boba scene!
Exceptional milk teas make this place a must try. We ordered the mango, the oolong, the peach jasmine with lychee jelly (on the board inside) and a pink lady (also on the board). All were well balanced and flavorful without being overpowering. Don't miss this gem in Seattle's Chinatown!
My new favorite bubble tea place. Flavor options are great, not overly sweet and prices are awesome. There are some seating options but it seems like everyone takes it to-go. Even when it seems a little busier they are fast, so easy to pop in and out real quick!
delicious bubble teas, highly recommend!! they really hit the trifecta:
high quality (they import their tea from taiwan and brew a fresh batch for each order!), tasty, and fabulous customer service. great experience overall!
I love their non sweeten tea options! When you're watching for your sugar but want a good healthy drink out of it! Looking forward to try their white tea! :3
Not sure what's up with the reviews that mention bland teas, I've never had that experience in SBT and we come here a lot! I love that you can taste the teas out of their boba, and their toppings are on point. Nothing beats a honeydew milk tea with lychee jelly during the summer 😀. The staff here are super friendly too, love the vibe. …
This place lives up to its name - it really is the best bubble tea I've found in Seattle. The bubbles are cooked perfectly, but the tea is the star of the show - it is absolutely delicious. My husband and I tried the black milk tea and the Jasmine tea - both were exquisite. The shop is very unassuming, simple, and comfortable. A number of teas line the shelves, and the staff is very friendly.
Heavy oolong milk tea was sooooo good here with grass jelly! The staff are also incredibly friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're into bubble tea.
Amazing tea! Free toppings. My sister and I walked in and a man walked in following us. He asked us earlier for change 4 times each time saying no because he gave me a bad vibe. The guy at the counter told him to leave and asked us if he followed us. The guy at the counter made us feel safe saying dont be afraid of him and be strong. Not only amazing tea but amazing humans working there too. I can not thank you enough!
This is hands down my favourite place in Seattle for bubble tea. The owners are a pair of cute Taiwanese parents who only use the best ingredients for the tea. Toppings are all FREE, and the teas are all extremely reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!!
The only thing I can say is that it’s definitely NOT the best milk tea, even in Seattle.
i got the red bean milk tea and it was so good! the workers were lovely to talk to!
Truly the best tea in Seattle. Heavy oolong is definitely the best!
Theres a reason there are no bad reviews! This is the best customer service in all of Seattle with amazing teas. I used to go to oasis all the time and I honestly wasted so much time and money. Coming here literally makes my day because the staff are so kind, patient, and energetic!! I love this place!
service is 10/10, depending on how busy they are, you can get your boba pretty quick 👍👍 …
Great price, great tasting, friendly staff. Heavy Oolong and Jasmine are both delicious.
I think this is the best place to get bubble tea. Free tapioca and free other toppings. They have a decent size menu options. They offer a stamp card for frequent goers. The prices run around + tax $4.39 for milk tea. They fill all the way to the top, which is very good!!
Super friendly and good tea! Boba was really fresh too.
this was my favorite place to get boba while I was on vacation in seattle!!!! they're so sweet here, the employees actually gave my little brother free ice cream one time because he was throwing a fit while i ordered!! Highly recommend!!
I’ve been all over and this has to be hands-down the best milk tea I’ve had. The black milk tea w/ tapioca was absolutely perfect! I’ll definitely be coming back! :)
Best tasting tea in Seattle. Heavy oolong is the best
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had in my entire life. Definitely will recommend 10 out of 10 hands down. 💯 …
The jasmine milk tea was amazing, probably the best I've had. The tea is fresh so expect to wait longer than other places, but the wait is worthwhile.
They ran out of boba but caught it early enough so they were able to change my order with my consent. Their flavored teas are my favorite and very refreshing
The name says it all. This is a genuine tea shop. Go to the back and you will be guided by a Tea Master to find the best tea for you. Whenever I go here I listen and learn.
one of the best jasmine milk teas I've personally tried!! nice strong tea flavor that doesn't need much sugar, i ordered the 25% sugar option and it was very fragrant/flavorful
All the positive reviews here are true. My friend came to visit from Milwaukee and he loves tea. I had to take him to tje best place but I didn't now where. Thankfully I found this place! He and his boyfriend loved it and so did I. I decided for the Matcha Tea and it was simply delicious. I also tried the Jasmine Tea Ice cream!
Their matcha smoothie and ice cream are amazing. The best ive ever had! Their hot tea is also delicious. They are meticulous with making sure you enjoy your visit. They were extremely kind.
Good bubble milk tea and friendly service. Ice cream is very yummy. We always get Heavy Oolong, black, and/or winter melon tea.
It was a great customer service, I like the older lady enthusiasm and her Chinese was very clean and pure, I could understand what she was saying after studying mandarin back in university.
The drinks were good, we liked them
Amazing Tea. I love coming to International District and getting their tea. Lydia is really nice and teaches you how to drink it and gives me a good price. I recommend it to all my friends in the Seattle area. The service is simple and nice. The oolong and green tea are my favorite.
[EDIT: Now my bf and I buy six at a time: black and Heavy Oolong at 30% sugar. It’s SOO good!]
Place lives up to its name. Owner recommended Jasmine Milk Tea and, oh my, was it the best MT I’ve ever had. And I’m a flight attendant comparing boba worldwide! Oolong and regular Black are also great! Balance of tea and milk flavors. Cups are huge. Get a stamp card too. You can just leave it on the counter for your next visit. Owners are from Taiwan where boba milk tea originates. This place is legit.👌🏽🇹🇼🍵
I came with my family of 4 and each of us ordered the Tung Ting Oolong hot tea, the Ti Kuan Yin Oolong hot tea, Rose Sweet tea, and a Lychee Milk Bubble tea. All tasted amazing, and very distinct. You can tell them how much honey (sugar) you want in it or not at all. My family and I drink a lot of tea, and were doubtful upon our initial visit but after trying the tea, we fell in love with the place. I'd definitely recommend this to non-tea drinkers and regular tea drinkers alike. Environment is family-friendly and the staff is nice. Would definitely come in again if I lived in Seattle.
Nicest family-run business with a true appreciation of tea. Our kids (and we) love that they can choose unlimited add-ins for boba and the price is the same no matter what.
The lady owner is totally adorable. As soon as I mentioned loose leaf she was rushing around the room showing me a dozen different options in every style I wanted. At the same time, her kids sat in the back eating soup and joking around with her. Will be back.
Lots of options and they were very fast with the order. No dine in during covid
Best boba in Seattle. I'm pretty sure I've tried them all.. Gossip, Oasis, Young Tea.. this place uses much better tea and also uses real fruits for their flavored drinks instead of powder. The owners still make the drinks too, although the husband is a bit hard of hearing and there might be a slight language barrier. Get anything with mango and you can't go wrong
Since this place is tea shop, so their tea is really tasty. I would recommend getting them about half sweetness. I love the "Heavy Oolong" here.
Not watered down like Oasis or other milk tea places. Great tasting tea and unlimited toppings too. I only go here for boba when I'm in ID. Go in and try it for yourself, the owners and Cris are the best!!
Incredible! So much better than Oasis, in my opinion, because you can taste the tea and it's delicious! I just got the mango sweet tea, 75% sweet, with boba + lychee jelly and my mind was blown.
It was super deli!! I had a Jazmine bubble milk tea with tapioca and red been jelly super delicious, great price, and the staff was really friendly, fast and efficient! Very recommend if you are around thr area or even if is out of your way because it's really tasty ;)
This is the place to go to experience tea. If they are able, the owner will sit down for conversation and to provide you with samples of tea. They have a large selection that they get from the source (typically Taiwan). I highly recommend shopping there and experiencing a tea ceremony if you can.
They also have ice cream, but I haven't tried it so can't comment.
Lidia taught us about tea and shares her knowledge with us every time we go in. We love this experience! She has fresh organic lovely teas, highest of quality, and not marked up like other stores. Thank you Lidia!!!
We tried the new Pink Lady. It was good. Boba was pretty decent too. Would be great if you could have size options. We were not asked about the sugar level though.
The service here is very friendly with tea tasting and the owner showing you how to seep the tea and letting you experience the different flavors of the tea as it goes through the servings. It's quite educational and I learned a lot just sitting there trying some of the teas she recommended. There's also the large containers of tea leaves if you want to have some for yourself and many different types.
Variety of boba tea selections, down to even the voice of milk. With lots of other food places around, it definitely helped wash down my lunch.
So far my favorite boba place in the Seattle area. I've been looking for a place that actually taste like tea instead of milk and this one fit the bill. They're boba was a little tough for me but otherwise it was good
free toppings! quality tea, and not too sweet. boba is a hit or miss--sometimes it's amazing and sometimes its so-so. I got their matcha bb tea and it was kinda watery and gross, so prob wont get that again. try their ice cream!!
This place will for sure become a favorite for me. Nice humble feel, so friendly and great service!!! They have great teas and there's real tea in the bubble teas, NOT the cheap kind of powder other places use. Also a great place to go if your looking for specific teas for naturalpathic medication pourposes, the lady there knows her teas
I've been coming here for years; Lovely tea and people. Great ice cream too!
Third time here and now it's official: this is my favorite boba spot in the ID. You know they don't use powder (unlike Gossip and other places) when they have a whole cute little separate space dedicated to tea. Very mom-and-pops kind of vibe, I was literally chatting and drinking my boba while the shop lady was having lunch and relaxing with a few friends/family.
Nice boba tea here !! Shop lady here is very nice and kind..
Very friendly staff. Had some warm tea to get out of the rain. We were greeted warmly. I would definitley go back. They have lots of different tea, from loose leaf hot tea to frozen boba smoothies.
It was a small store with the most delicious teas! Its definitely a more intimate environment that is cozy if you can get a table. I would definitely come back for more, if I was walking around the international district again.
Very friendly staff and a good price. Their Jasmine ice cream is absolutely wonderful. The one downside would be that they don't keep bananas stocked
Cozy place with knowledgeable staff a willing to walk you through the different types of tea and give you tasting if you buy large quantities, otherwise you can purchase tastings. Also their tea with boba is outstanding.
This is actually Seattle's best boba. Cheap, fast, super kind service and the boba just tastes really damn good. Go here if you're in the international district.
Black milk tea tasty and delicious.
Probably my favorite place to get bbt in Seattle. When you order a hot one they make the tea from tea leaves, not powder, and the owner was really kind to ask us about our preferred sweetness that she adjusted with honey
Literally everything is perfect here. The family that owns the place is friendly and generous. The cold honey teas are great, as are all their milk teas. They even have awesome milkshakes!
Great milk tea! Perfect boba
They’re super nice and the tea is always gas
Awesome establishment. People here are awesome and the tea is amazing. Never been into a tea house before but, the staff made it way easy to understand the differences and made us feel at home. Will come back...
Always a great time :,) I’m pretty sure we go 3x a week
Best Tea is undoubtedly, absolutely, the best place for Milk tea in the city. Everyone that works there is fantastic and the drinks are delicious.
Their Heavy Oolong is actually one of the best drinks I’ve ever tried! Very amazing!
Very good service and great tea and a very large selection
Authentic Taiwanese teas are available here. Their bubble teas are top notch. Not the powdery stuff other places use. Sit in the back to learn and drink tea at the tea tables.
Live up to its name. Hands down the best bubba tea place in Seattle. And best service from Chris.
Sooo TASTY!!! The staff is so friendly and the boba really hits the spot. I got the strawberry boba & omg!! Going back again! Thank you!!
Employees are really nice. All of the teas and smoothies here taste great. It is really clean inside and is decorated in an Asian Culture Style.
Smacks. Different. Truly the best in Seattle, went here 3 times. Decent prices, great service, and some of the best milk tea I have ever had.
Delicious taro milk tea.
Whenever I have gone in I always get the feeling of home and community. The pineapple milk tea with boba is delicious and the staff is pleasant and helpful.
Favorite boba in seattle. Love the customization options that go well beyond other boba places I’ve been - flavor, milk, toppings, add ice cream, etc.
Really good tea for the price! If you like diff ice/sugar levels just make sure to let them know because the servers don't usually ask from my experience.
Very yummy! Had the mango smoothie and lychee flavored green tea! Mango smoothie had a punchy authentic mango flavor and the lychee tea was nice and refreshing.
Best bubble tea and friendliest service in town! They make you feel like family!
Fresh tea. My tea was freshly brewed upon order. If you like heavy cream milk tea with artificial flavor don't come here. But if you like fresh tea here's the place.
This place is really special to me. The owners are so warm and friendly. Both Joe and Lydia have sat and poured tea for us. Truly special to me. Beautiful people, amazing tea, and awesome conversation.
My favorite Boba place in I District! The drinks are great, prices are good, and the employees are the best. Can't go wrong going here, always stop by when I'm in the area.
I have to be honest, I didn't expect a place called Seattle Best Tea to actually have the best tea- but I've gotta say, the milk bubble tea here is the best I've had in Seattle. It's definitely become my go-to spot for bubble tea!
Every chance I get to grab some Chinese food in International District, I'll drop by Seattle Best tea for a few drinks. I usually drink coffee but they have some really amazing tea and Lydia knows a lot about Taiwanese oolong tea. They specialize in High Mountain tea and it's refreshing after eating a lot of food in chinatown. They also a mix of art, organic green tea, organic VG e-liquid, and post cards.
Great selection of loose leaf tea, particularly Pu erh. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can have your tea western style or gong fu.
Great drinks and fantastic menu variety. Highly recommended for the reasonable prices
The lovely lady running this shop helps you figure out what type of drink you'd like. Many free toppings, and delicious tea! Highly recommend!
Got the best coconut milk tea from here. Would highly recommend!
Kind and generous people, delightful facility, and excellent tea! They have high mountain tea from Taiwan that is rare and delicious at very good prices. Highly, highly recommended!
Wow!!! Amazing Tea! I am only in Seattle for two days and I’m glad I went on the first day so that I can go again on the second day!
It was ok. Small place, very nice people. I didn't like my smoothie, too sweet. Next time I'll try the milk tea.
Best bubble tea in Seattle, hands down. They also sell ice cream 👌 if you haven't gone here you can't call yourself a boba lover …
Both the teas made on site and the tea available for bulk purchase are great. The owner is kind, and will sit down with you and give you tea sampling and just make conversation.
Good tea with nice management! I like that they serve both hot and cold loose leaf tea, as well as bubble tea. Convenient location in the International District.
Good boba,friendly service!
Really is good bubble tea here, my daughter can't get enough of this place. The ladies are always nice here.
The best milk tea forever.
This place delivers: high quality tea, great staff, and no frills. Not trying to be appeal to anything other than your taste buds!
Many varieties of milk tea and smoothies. Love the Plum boba.
Boba tea is amazing. Friendly service, great prices, and centrally located!
Extremely nice staff! The jasmine bubble tea was so amazing-went everyday while in seattle!
My go to place for bubble tea. You need to order double boba if you like boba. Free toppings
Amazing customer service! Always nice and make you feel like part of the family. Their teas, ice creams and bubble teas are delicious
Best milk tea I have ever had. Highly recommend Jasmine and heavy oolong.
The best, no doubt. Nicest staff you'll ever find, and a great place if you like real tea flavor.
Best Tea has the best service ever, the staff are really really nice and welcoming, the boba is amazing, it’s probably the best boba I’ve ever had and the boba is cheap, this is the best boba in Seattle.
Cozy and friendly with a great selection of fine teas. A wonderful respite while waiting for the Bolt Bus nearby. Thanks again for a superior experience!
Great store with a great topping assortment. I got the peach milk tea with lychee topping and it was good
affordable, tasty, seattle, best, tea
Great selection of bulk tea. Wonderful and knowledgeable customer service. Good prices. Very limited seating.
One of my favorite stops. Their milk tea with boba is enjoyable each time.
Excellent. Well priced and an abundance of options. Tasty too; I finished my kiwi bubble tea too fast. I'll have to get some more.
I like the black tea it’s the best boba that I like
Great tea, quick even though we had a big group. Loved that they use real fresh brewed tea.
The best! Millions of combinations of flavors, tea, and ice cream! Cool people and very convenient!
They are so nice!! They also have good ice cream and give pretty big scoops. They even have tea making classes which is super neat.
great staff, good milk tea, boba pretty good. not sure if actually Seattle best but no complaints.
They use real tea to make all their tea drinks. Service are friendly and nice
Amazing tea and great boba tea. The service is amazing here. They also offer pretty good ice cream
Best milk TEA with real flavor. Also service is fast and customer service is great!!
Good place to visit
Delicious tea in big cups and nice service! Super good location next to the Link.
The owner is so nice, and server Chris is really friendly. They have a lot of non-dairy options if you can’t do milk.
They carry wonderful High Mountain Oolongs from Taiwan, delicious pu'ers, and provide a comfortable atmosphere to sit around and talk over tea
Both the tea and the ice cream are amazing. I love their durian ice cream and black milk tea.
Really good, a little pricey
Best bubble tea they make it less sweet upon request. Tender tapioca bubbles, not too sweet, A+!!
This has become my go-to place for bubble tea. Quality is consistently good, and the people behind the counter are some of the friendliest
Awesome place! Hard to find papaya smoothie and they have it! Friendly people too!
Best tea indeed
Name says it all. Consistently good and better than any other boba place in town. And I've tried them each several times over
Amazing bubble tea. This place is a go to for me for some quality bubble tea and it's cheap which is even better.
Hot #2 jasmine milk tea! Awesome
They use fresh tea (made in front of you after you ordered) to make milk tea and that's all that matters!
Nice little boba shop with ice cream and macaroons. The owner is a friendly lady who likes to feed pigeons.
Best milk tea in town, great quality tea, and very friendly. Price is also reasonable.
Amazing bubble tea. You can taste the tea in their milk teas and to top it off, all toppings FREE

Awesome service and bubble tea! I love their egg pudding topping.
Seems impossible to go wrong here whether you want hot, sweet, unsweet, or bubble tea, or a smoothie, or tea supplies, or a modest tea-house feel

they have a rule that if the people for the table you booked are not all they don't give it to you and they say they only wait 10 minutes if they don't arrive they all give it to another person no matter if you already waited for an hour

Tea is good but boba is too hard unacceptable!
Very good service, funny employees! Bubble tea was good!!
Neat place! Tons of flavors, great service!
(Translation) Friends say it is the best hand-cranked shop in Seattle! The proprietress is Taiwanese, and the tea there is also brought from Taiwan, the quality is guaranteed! Almost all of them have a uniform price of $5.25, and you can add more ingredients for free!
Black milk tea (soy milk) +Crystal boba + Egg pudding $5.25: The color is very light, maybe the soy milk is not strong enough (well, it can’t be compared with Taiwan), but the taste is not bad. Sucrose is healthy!
Crystal boba is actually konjac. It tastes crunchy and tastes better than their pearls.
Egg pudding is not the chemical pudding that you usually see. It feels like steamed egg pudding that I steamed in an electric cooker. The egg flavor is very strong and natural, but the broken pudding tastes like egg whites XD. Give it a lot, usually at the end of the drink, you will find that a whole piece has sunk to the bottom
*btw this pudding shop sells it separately, a box of $5, it is more cost-effective to add drinks
Tapioca is a normal pearl, but I think it is too hard and not tasty
(Original)
Crystal boba
Tapioca就是正常的珍珠,但我覺得過硬,不好吃
(Translation) My girlfriend and I went in looking for milk oolong tea leaf. The owner was very kind and invited us to try the tea before our purchase. The owner have been drinking tea over 50 years, so he also taught us important knowledge about tea. tea was great and we purchased 2 different tea that night. Recommended anyone who is looking for taiwanese tea.
Boss Xu and Boss Lin warmly entertained us to try tea and taught us a lot of tea knowledge that we didn't know before. It is highly recommended for people who like tea and those who are looking for tea. The boss will be in the shop on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
