The store is great but picking up an on line order is beyond ridiculous! I received an email telling me my order was ready for pick up but when I got to the store the staff couldn't find it. Even though all ordered items were available on store racks I could not get them that way unless I paid for them again because my order had been packed. I had to return to the store two days later for my order.

Being a student, I'm partial to the campus store at the U, but having been to various stores at higher education institutions, this one is admittedly nicer than some. The variety of notebooks, pens, pencils and other stationary materials is quite good. I especially appreciate the fact that the store carries Leuchterm 1918 notebooks over Moleskin. Starbucks is good in the store. Staff is wonderful. Lastly, the technology section of the store could use some merchandising panache, but overall has a reasonable selection, keeping in mind it's primary purpose (Education over Entertainment)

A huge shout out to the integrity of the U of U students and the staff at the store. (Specifically Cory with mailing it back) My dad was visiting from out of town and lost his phone while in the campus store. It was found, turned in, and mailed back to him. On a side note, I love the friendly service I have always received and I love the variety and styles of merchandise

One of the best places to find any supply you need to succeed in college. There is also an extreme supply of University of Utah swag such as clothing in every size from newborn to adult and any kind of swag from pens and mugs to interesting gadgets or gifts. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop inside and a credit union attached. They can even special order something in if they don't have it in stock.

This is like a huge toy store for adult University of Utah fans. They have so many cool things and great clothing to show your Ute pride. I could spend thousands here and a few days. Great place to spend your money.

Best place with good prices for art supplies and average school supplies. I bought a sketch board for 32.00 at Michael's, when this store had it for $13.00.

Expensive. They have the school supplies you need in a convenient place, but you pay for that convenience. Half of the store is overpriced clothing. If you need to buy textbooks here, be sure to check Amazon first. The textbook prices are not competitive. It's not a bad place for stationary type items or electronics.

Very large selection of products. They have notebooks, pens, textbooks, backpacks, school merchandise, everything! The people that work there are all very sweet too!! The prices are cheap, and they offer a lot of jobs for on campus students.

Everything U could ever want U related. Store is nice and clean. It is easy to navigate and find items that you are looking for. Store has everything from paper and pencils to clothing and books. Prices are a little steeper than you can find elsewhere, however, it is a convenient location.

It’s great, definitely worth a visit regularly. Good layout, awesome staff, very clean. That being said, don’t buy the tech and consider other places for textbooks (if possible, could be way cheaper). Also, expect long lines if your shopping in-between classes.

There was a lady in the store selling class rings for Jesters and she was so professional and courteous. She hooked up my old man with a 1976 medical school ring so he can properly bar hop around the lower 48 and meet chicks. He's going strong. Just like this campus store.

Always had good service here but WOW are things overpriced. Seriously had to buy socks for my husband and of course they only had U merchandise socks, but the cheapest single pair were $10 and the worst quality too! Just wish they didn't try to gouge students for so much money considering how freaking expensive tuition is.

I have used their computer repair and bought a variety of items over the years. They are so helpful and more cost effective than any other agency I have used (Ma Docs, Apple Store and what ever came before of after MacDocs. They explain everything without rolling their eyes when senior citizens are stuck and need help.

Arrived on a sale day. Had pre-ordered to ensure inventory. Store was well prepared with extra staff in anticipation of the sale brining in customers. Lines moved smoothly, staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Check out went smoothly as well. Small but free parking area. Overall a good experience.

Improvement has been made since the lockers have been removed and you can bring your bags in the store. Makes it a lot easier to buy smaller items on multiple trips without a hassle. Staff is always willing to help out. Sometimes there's not enough checkouts open. Biggest complaint is book buyback. Books will be rejected if you underline or take notes, which lead me to sell on Amazon.

Works well as a convince store for school supplies. Good selection of notebooks, pens, books, tech and clothing. Can be affordable for school supplies if you are careful to select the cheapest option (if you want the school logo on it, you'll pay a few extra dollars). Best location to get University of Utah clothing, but watch for sales to avoid high prices durring college acceptance/graduation season and football season.

Extremely overpriced and my experiences with staff have ranged from fantastic to awful. It challenging to find anything without help because it is so poorly organized. I only go here if I am desperate for something. Otherwise Amazon/Smith's/Staples is better.

An anecdote that's very relevant: we went to Arches National Park and nowhere around there did we find better merchandise about it than the bookstore at the U has. Also, if you have children that are interested in science or art, you'll have a very hard time finding supplies for them if the bookstore wasn't an option. It was easier in San Antonio, TX to find lenses for a microscope than it is in the entire Salt Lake Valley. This is my go-to for that sort of thing.

Very very large store. I have never seen such a large store for colleges. It is like a 7/11, Starbucks, Campus store and student store in one!. It has supplies for students and clothes for visitors. It has a convenience store also mixed in.

Very friendly staff, good collection of University of Utah fan gear, not so many books but plenty of school supplies. Has a plethora of notebooks, drafting and architecture supplies, art supplies, some games and puzzles, and various electronics. There's a Starbucks, post office and general drinks and food are available for purchase.

This is the place to go for Ute gear. As a student there is everything you need for supplies for school except for textbooks. After two years I've only found my class textbook twice. I like the location on campus and the variety of snack options.

You won't go un-noticed here! I must have been asked at least 20+ times if I had found everything I was looking for (annoying after the first 5 times). Either the staff is trained for excellent customer service or this 60+ year old scruffy man looks like he's a shady character... LoL I would suggest a large magazine section, the profit margin may go up by doing so...

All prices are marked up, but that's what you get for the convenience of having a store on campus. They sell an extremely wide variety of goods, and your uCard should work at the market place and the campus Starbucks.

In a pinch the campus store is a good place to grab a needed pencil, paper, or charger. If you can plan ahead and avoid the campus store I would for one reason, price. Everything is marked up as if you were at a sporting event.

The University of Utah book store, I felt a little strange on campus I grew up in Utah County Cougar Country. It was clean, organized and friendly.

It's good, usually has a little bit of everything from gift cards to technology. Also has a Starbucks inside and some food. Only thing is anything with a utes symbol is overly priced You can find a water bottle for $10 and the same waterbottle, same color and everything in the same store, with a utes symbol, it'll now be $20. Employees of the U get 15% off and if you parkin the paid parking and you buy something they will validate up to an hour.

One stop shop for most things. I asked a cashier for the location of some art supplies and he said they did not carry that type of product. The next day I asked someone else and they knew what I was talking about and directed me right to what I was looking for. Moral of the story? Ask around, not everyone knows what they are talking about.

You don't shop here for textbooks. You do shop here for U clothing and accessories. There is not such thing as customer service. I know kids steal but don't ask me to lock up my motorcycle helmet when it will not fit in the tiny lockers.

It has a very wide array of University Apparel and school supplies. Unfortunately in the case of graduation supplies (rings and whatnot) the staff is not particularly knowledgeable. While they have a display, they can not answer questions concerning these items. Apparently they rely on a third party, Jostens, who only visits this store a few days in March.
