Has most of what you want/need. That's to current economy prices are ridiculous on certain things of course. My biggest beef with this place is checking out. No walmart ever has enough lanes open. Mostly all self service because they don't want to pay people. People go in with 20 - 30 items and you constantly have to get help because the scale is off. ( place item on scale, please wait, please reach item etc).

It was overall a good experience. The employee's where helpful and friendly. They used to have soda vending machines out in front of the store and wish that they were still there.

There meats are always fresh. They stay in the fridge for a good amount of time they dont start turning color in 3 days.Go patriots.

This Walmart is very clean and well kept. They also provide with face-mask and sanitizer at the entrance. They also have subway, nail place inside. Ample of parking space right in the front

This is a decent location, and waiting to check out isn't a big issue if you don't mind self check out. My only two problems are, it isn't a super Walmart and although staff a usually friendly, not all employees are actually helpful. Other than that, I don't have many complaints.

I'm being nice because I've had a good experience with the people that work there. But in most cases I don't know if it has to do with supply issues, some of the things are missing that I normally shop for at this point. So I leave disappointed, and since it's close to my house I tried to get out and take a good walk for my exercise.

♥️me some Walmart 😂 I miss the 24 hour ones 😢. One thing I would change is the managers attitude in regards to my request to view 2 laptops before buying one the night I did it shouldn't matter it was 30 minutes before close sorry to trouble you. The employees were quite helpful and did search upon my request for what I was wanting to buy before making my choice of laptop and the help button in car audio actually worked 😂 someone came within 2 minutes and was very nice and helpful to and for me. I found everything but my car 12v inverter I needed. Scored a gateway laptop for 179.99 on clearance great deal thanks Walmart but I really wanted the Asus 17.3 " vivobook for 299.99 the manager wouldn't search for 😢.

This Walmart was clean and well organized. Bathrooms were cleaner than typical for a Walmart. There were also more open registers than typical and a lot of self checkout registers. One issue was in clothing for men's . It seemed like every shirt was only in 2 sizes either S or 3XL, nothing in between. I'm not sure if this is an issue specific to this Walmart or some supplier issue.

I went to that Walmart because I wanted a Microwave. Kohl's , was my first intention to buy a Microwave because I seen one online that I looked and it was good in price, buy I got there at Kohl's, they didn't have any Microwave ovens, so I decided to go to Walmart and found a nicer one. The only problem I had is when check-out. The credit card machine was not scanning the chips on the cards. The cashier insisted that the machine was working fine and I kept telling her something's wrong with the machine, and she saying no it's not. So I pushed my carriage to the other register in the card went through with no problem. Then, she had other people going through the same problem. She did not call anyone for assistance about the problem that she was going through with the credit card machine.

Good thing about Walmart is if the lines are really long and you only have three or four items to purchase you can go to the pharmacy and they will ring you out.

Plan on your trip taking a little longer if you need underwear. You have to wait for an associate to unlock the case. But the store is very clean and is the super center with groceries, craft supplies, fabrics and paint center.

They are doing their best to keep the chaos at a minimum and keep items on the Shelf. The place looks okay but there seriously needs to be more open registers. I will not use a self-checkout and I am really sick of people trying to steer me towards them

Clean store, self checkout is easy to use. On Saturday nights there is music in the parking lot from across the street, which is fun to load my groceries to.

Had everything I needed in stock. Only two registers with live cashiers. Really pushing self checkout. Prices are through the roof but still a good deal in comparison to other retailers. Beware of being overcharged though. Found an item I needed online that was available for curbside pickup. Decided to go in to store since I needed a few other things. Item was $33 online and was actually $37 in store.

Is this Walmart closing? Every time I go, they have people stocking, blocking shoppers, and don't even think of asking for any help! They are always out of stock and / or lacking what other locations have in abundance. OH, and gone are the days when you ask CS if they can check a different location for your desired item..

Entered the apartment for a week, officially checked in, just a day feeling is: front desk lady, amiable 🌷 Duty Manager, Meet the Responsible 👍 Staff, stick to your post 👌 This morning, an apartment worker with a dog saw me taking out the trash. Specifically stop the car, and I took the trouble to use translation software, to communicate, tell me in the corridor can throw different types of garbage, very convenient. Just now, he was afraid that I was too old to understand, so he knocked on the door and took us to the garbage room in the corridor and taught me and Heimer how to deal with it. Made us feel like home. Thank you. 👍❤️🙏

I mean it's a Walmart, but this one is on the bigger and significantly cleaner side. I was a little intrigued that the men's undergarments are behind locked cases, but I guess that's the world we live in now.

This was not a good shopping experience. That was the last time I visit that location. Staff was just going through the motions even when I asked them to please help the man with his pants around his ankles(actually happened) while I was shielding the eyes of my children. 3 stars because the associate that helped with my online order at the loading was kind.

Walmart was so busy it was insane. There were people everywhere in every aisle. Clothes were on the floor. However the employees were working very hard helping people while loading and stocking shelves. The lines to the cash registers and cashiers did move quickly.

Got my Covid Booster and Flu shot. Made and Appointment for my wife too. Pharmacist took us both in and we were both done at the same time. Very fast and convenient. Could not Thank Them Enough. Was easy to do an on line appointments.

Store had a lot of Christmas things in stock. The store was in good kept order. It would be better if it had self-checkout machines that accepted CASH. The only option available to pay with cash was to go in a very long line with a cashier.

I usually have no issues with Walmart, but last week I was looking for a specific item, and couldnt find it. I asked three people, and they all pointed me to a direction the item was in. This location is not a supercenter with a grocery market. Not really a bad thing, just unfortunate because the nearest one of those is all the way out in Johnston. I only took one star off because they tend to be out of stock on so many things all of the time. And this issue predates the pandemic, but has certainly been exasperated by it. All in all not a bad spot. Don't come to this one if you want to pay cash. They only have 3 registers that take it right now and those are never all open.

It's just ridiculous how they are so very aggressive with checking your receipt, like a criminal. It's not like restaurant Depot where everyone is obligated because of the bulk and chaos. Walmart has security cameras on the ceiling , walla and between aisle on yh ground level, plus staffing for security including undercovers losing as shoppers. And you still going to check my receipt after I just paid?. Besides THAT. IT'S WALMART. Helpful staff.

It's a walmart. It's often very busy being in providence. What sets this particular walmart apart however is they have a large shoe collection for men women and children.

VERY busy in the middle of the holidays, but staff was working very diligently. There was a brief power outage when i first arrived which resulted in all but 4 registers being down for nearly 15 minutes. The lines quickly backed up, but once the self checkout corral reopened at full capacity, people were in and out very quickly.

I am not from RI, needed to make a stop to get pajamas and socks for my daughter who is in the hospital. Handicap parking was easy. I asked an associate in store for directions and was pleasantly directed to the items I needed. Check out was also a pleasant procedure. I would shop here again.

Wal-Mart on post road Warwick, RI, USA has the best stocked shelves, cleanest store and nicest associates of any Wal-Mart you will go too. Definitely check out the outdoor section and solar lighting section and selections. Plus there is a bank and McDonald's in the plaza as well. Every customer I've encountered has been more than friendly and pleasant as well. Stop in you won't regret it.

I have to give mad props to this Walmart’s curbside pickup! We ordered online & picked the time we wanted to pick up the items. We drove into the lot, parked & within 30-60 seconds the employee was putting our order in the car. If you strapped for time, this is a huge time saver & a really great convenience.

What can I say it's Walmart but this one is very disorganized and busy it's kind of a rougher crowd here but they have everything you need including a small section of food but no fresh vegetables, their prices are hard to beat I shop here when I'm in the neighborhood but rather go to a nicer location in seekonk or Attleboro

This store must have very good management because the sales floor is always nicely stocked. They also get seasonal items out as soon as they arrive. Their clothing section has the best selection out of local Walmarts. The only bad part is the limited food selection.

Less in stock than other Walmarts. Easy entry, but difficult to exit if you leave without buying due to Covid-19 barriers. Staff is professional and courteous. Ample parking and clean bathrooms. Been there three times without a single purchase.

Not a bad Walmart from what I have seen. They don’t have a large selection of food products as they are not a super Walmart which is kind of a bummer. They have a small selection of frozen foods and other processed but no deli or produce section. The staff is nice from what I’ve observed and they have 4 self checkouts which is what I like

This is a good WalMart with a decent selection and is very good for quick shopping. Of course, the Super Walmarts have a much larger variety of items and groceries, however, I rate this WalMart highly because the staff are courteous and helpful, it is conveniently located, and I can buy just about anything I need here.

Great place to pick up what you need for the next three weeks. Just DO avoid the restaurant inside, last time when I visited with my niece she wanted a sandwich and a cookie but I noticed the floor littered with food and bags. And the girl didn't apply gloves before handling the sandwich (it was a mini sandwich to-go). I left it there, no thanks.

I was looking for a cheap converter box for my television or a remote. There was none,the clerk said they always run out. Lucky me! I did buy a more expensive one. Good strategy. I did have help from a clerk helping out in the department that was very helpful and cashier was very nice.

This walmart is in a plaza with McDonald's, planet fitness, dollar tree and Citizens bank. This walmart is fully stocked. This is a super walmart with the market attachment with active deli and bakery. The sale and clarence process is on point! Yes! You can shop your every need and essentials in this one place. However, the customer service is about a 1 star! Not very helpful on the floor with assisting customers locating item when their in a task mode - no customer first mentality at all. Sales associates appear angry to be at work and appear bothered in assisting customers. When you attempt to leave the store - anything not in a bag requires a recipe check. However, most likely you will be made to feel violated and embarrassed!! The cashier lack the know how in processing at the checkout. And the lack of respect for each other demonstrates as a impact on the consumer... Mask is a must for the entire shopping and exiting process! This store is a pretty good shopping option just don't expect much in regards to customer service!!

Very clean, it is not a supercenter, so you won't find fresh fruits or veggies but on the plus side, I never saw a sale or a popular product being out of stock. The location is also great near a Wendy's, a home depot, you can easily do all your shopping for a project you're working on.

Walmart has just about everything. For example I just bought a phone and the store didn't have a case for it. I asked if it was out of stock, the clerk said that they couldn't get that model yet. Guess what? Walmart had it and cheaper. Most times I start my shopping at Walmart, if its not there then I seek alternative stores.

Seemed to be very clean! The staff was very nice and were helpful when I asked for questions. The selection is not as good as the really big ones, but good enough where I can find what I need! Obviously the prices are low, but remember the price others are paying to make them.

Walmart as usual was exactly what I expected. I did manage to get there and pay my bills today before the 3rd of the month Social Security rush so I did not have to wait in line as long as I usually do. Regular register lines were very quick, which is unusual but was nice.

Great prices, all the amenities and lots of great natural products to choose from! I look for items for my family and I, like deodorant and shampoo, etc, to be as natural as possible without breaking the bank and I always find it at Walmart. I highly recommend an hour in the beauty section too!

Walmart in silver spring has limited stock but other Walmarts would have particular better quality items. This Walmart does have workers who segregate, discriminate, against particulars and have only one cashier and the rest is self checkout. I would advise buying everything online except for clothing for convenience to avoid confrontation with this Walmart.

Super dope hanging out spot. I have found all of my baking needs, home improvement stuff, clothes and shoes, toys for the kids, dirt for my plants, small appliances, paper towers. I like to go and walk the aisles, look for new things to be creative with. I bought a can of paint and painted my walls, but my landlord got upset with me and I have to go back to Walmart to buy more paint, at least they had paint and paint rollers. I was able to paint the walls but I messed up and tripped on some wet paint and smeared the wet paint, so I had to start all over. I went back to Walmart and got some paper towels and cleaning spray to clean up the mess and of course more paint. I met a really nice sale rep that hooked me up with painting boots and a hard hat, best day ever. So by the end of all this I was pretty hungry so I went by the chips n dip aisle for some snacks a rooooooo. I also picked up cake batter and sprinkles from make some cupcakes. I found all I needed in the bake aisle including the trays, went on the hunt for some eggs and found them in the grocery part of the place. Can't wait till my next trip. Huge shout out to the self check out lanes so I don't have to explain my madness to anyone. Today was a good day 😊✌️

Walmart is great for so many things. I do a lot of online shopping and just in the past six months I've started checking Walmart before I buy anything from Amazon. Their prices are very competitive for many things, and shipping is free after $35. The downside is that shipping takes 2 days, and if you order on a weekend that can slow things up. We actually go inside a store for groceries, because Walmart has good buys on everything from grapes to tissues. I've become a fan!

Pretty small for a Walmart, has a good selection of clothes but that's about it. No produce section although there are eggs and dairy products. Lines can get pretty long, especially now with covid. Prices are good as always. If you just want to make a quick stop for something specific this place is fine but if you're looking for anything more it's probably better to go to the Super Walmart in Cranston.

So, this location is also my Pharmacy. I'm diabetic and get my meds here. The counter staff are always great, quick efficient service and awesome smiles. The overall store isn't bad either, though there tech people are not the most savy. The place is usually better maintained then there competitors, clean floors and while some bits out of place, friendly to walk about and shop. I've been at this location at all times of operation and also solid.

Yes it's a Walmart lol. Mostly the same as all the Walmarts. Bathrooms are always being cleaned they have paper towels and sanitizer for you to wash your cart. It's a Walmart... They have great prices and a lot of stock. This particular store is often messy and the bulk of the shoppers seem to be less than considerate. You can pretty much guarantee that there will be someone near the entrances looking and /or asking for money. This makes me very uncomfortable.

Only Walmart in Providence, the other two are a ways from Prov(Cranston/Warwick/Woonsocket/North Attleboro). This one is not a super Walmart, also tends to be more crowded. It does have some props like rout 146 is literally across the street and 95 highway is super close, theres a subway inside, salon (nails), theres a Wendys by the charles street entrance as well as a Home Depot. l There some extra services, you can send and receive money (like walgreens does with western union) though it closes an hour or two before the store closes. Customer service is ok, some nice people throughout the store but sometimes it can be difficult to get helped for how crowded it can get/be, especially on the 1st and certain nights between Friday-Saturday.

EDIT: I'm updating my previous one star review to a five star due to today's visit. Today 9/26/21 I found a certain item usually high priced at a really hot deal!!! A $20 item was advertised for $3!!! At the checkout counter, the item scanned for the original price. An associate by the name of Alyssa, I believe she is an CSM, went way above and beyond to investigate the issue. Once I showed her exactly where I found the item, which there were plenty more on the endcap, she took a photo with the advertised price, and informed me that I would get it at that price shown. Alyssa showed professionalism and is extremely friendly. She definitely showed that she absolutely cares for her customers. Alyssa is a huge asset to Walmart! I wish all employees are like her! Thank you so much Alyssa!!! Below is my one star review prior to my update: They don't care about their customers. All that high tech security they have is just for them, not for the safety and security of their customers. My wife's phone was stolen from their store and we've asked for them to view the security footage and was told that they can not. However they can see when someone steels from them and apprehend them at the door. Unbelievable. We was told that we would have to file a police report first. By that time the theif is long gone. Unreal.

I like to give real reviews and try my best to be honest and at the same time be careful what i say publicly for all to see... First this Wal-Mart is always busy or at least packed with tons of people which is good for the stores budget. With all this being said they lack customer service skills long lines and i mean long. Self checkout always malfunctioning and one takes cards only then the other takes cash the other ones doesn't take cash and one is always broken or offline or something odd going on with it, funny thing is there's only 4 self checkout registers lines always 20 people deep, unreal and unnecessary but i digress. If you're looking for in and out this is not the place to go if you looking for help with in the aisles you will see a lot of employees and people stocking but you will not get help. Crew is really to themselves not people friendly at all. But I'll give them a 4 star because i try to shop with a positive attitude i know these times have folks unhappy hard to smile with so much ugliness in the world. I even assist customers at service desks that aren't even part of my department. I go out of my way to make customers feeling acknowledged & leave satsified.That's my job. Yes indeed this store has its flaws & yes management & staffing need to be resolved. but it's not just some the employees who are careless, it's also the customers who clearly have no consideration while Shopping. So when you see a mess don't just think it's the employees being careless. The people who shop there also take of part of the condition of the store. Silver Spring is just something different. Do not go, for any reason, during holidays, prior to storms or anytime during the first week of the month. Super long lines, with one human check out clerk. The rest is self check. The lines run through the store in both directions.

this is in the neighborhood and is always crowded. And when I go to the dairy Department I never find what I need because it's usually sold out or they haven't restocked. That also goes for the cat food I buy it there cuz it's less expensive then down the street at the market. They could use a little bit more merchandise and restocking cuz I hate walking out disappointed. Because they certainly do have a good product and a reasonable price.

I had a 1 star review here before any other, this was the first review of this Walmart and it clearly showed the issues with it at the time. However, I needed to update my review because the state of this Walmart has changed over the years. It seems as if all the complaints about its lack of inventory, carts, the mess, and the poor service have been fixed and I appreciate these concerns being mostly addressed, even on Saturdays when they're very busy. The service people are English speaking, there are certainly enough cashiers and store operators, and the phone service is responsive and helpful. They did make the aisles a little too thin to push two carts through but they did that in order to increased inventory overall. After my last phone call with them I finally decided to change the review, I've seen this review all too often and as the change has been permanent, I have made the decision to change my review from 1 stars to 4. It's a still a danky Walmart, that's not changing any time soon, all Walmarts are somewhat like that, and people who shop there can still be selfish passive-aggressive cart pushers, but they've addressed most of the voiced concerns about the store and I appreciate that. That's why I like shopping here. It's cheap, it's easy, and I'm not missing the bus waiting in line anymore--it's not an inconvenience to shop here. If I wanted good service, I'd buy off Amazon, or just go to Target.

Most things at Walmart are overpriced for a so-called inexpensive store! They clearance prices needs to be a lot lower... Instead they're at sale prices! I only pick up a few things here mostly for my cat and also few food items. Their brand of lactose free milk is better than Lactaid! In their brand of lint roller extra sticky it's a lot better than the 3M brand!!! Also some of their health and beauty items are at a lot better prices regularly then other stores with sales! If you know the basic costs of items, then you should be okay!

In defence of the employees of Walmart. I'm in the store daily and see the clients that come in. The staff is always cleaning and their friendly when given the respect they work hard for. Bathrooms are not made discusting by employees and is destroyed with the first 2 hours the store is opened. Shoppers put unwanted items everywhere and anywhere. By end of day there are 4 or 5 carts filled to the brim with items customers decided not to purchase and employees have to put away. Its a never ending battle so its no wonder why they look upset or look like they don't want to work. Customers you should look at yourself. What kind of shopper are you? Are you the one that picks up a pair of shoes decides not to buy them and put them in with the food. or are you the one that uses the bathroom drops paper on the floor and leaves it for someone else to pick up. The store is only as good as it shoppers.

This Walmart has alot of more ethnic people here so they play different types of music which is cool and the prices are LOWER than the other Walmart's in RI. For sure I've shopped at all of them often and there is NO fresh produce or anything like that here canned goods and frozen stuff ect.
