It’s a nice mall where you can find various stores. It has multiple levels and has a small food court. There’s also a multi level parking building which is free for the first two hours. There are macys, boscov, journey, carters, Sephora, Children’s place, gap, Victoria secret, old navy to name a few of the stores in this mall.

This store is Great 👍 nice people, very clean. The bargains are crazy, from clothes to furniture, all the Gizmo's Nice candy dept. Kitchen and household goods. You name it they have, escalators. Elevator. Remember too go to bargain central!! That's where the Great deals are. Good luck 👍 have fun Happy shopping. At least 2 hrs you'll be there.

Finally went here for the first time today. Reminds me so much of the old time department stores in NYC and NJ from when I was a kid - like Macy's (herald square location), Bambergers, Gimbels. Even has a Godiva counter!

Edit ; I came back here because I was forced to lol (the only place open this early in the morning) and there was one worker, I think her name was Ma-Kay? She was great. Seemed happy to be there and was nice. A good sales person also. One of very few employees I’ve seen here that doesn’t seem miserable to be here. The place still sucks but she’s one of the only good ones here. My review from years ago which is still accurate; Almost everything here was an XL or bigger. Hard to find XS sizes. I actually didn’t find one for anything that I looked for. Had to settle for the one medium I found. Just OK quality stuff like you’d usually find at a discount store. I was told this place is just like Nordstrom. It’s more like a TJMaxx. Reminded me of a slightly better organzied Walmart. It’s OK if you’re looking for a JCPenny type store and not a replacement for Nordstrom.

I love going to this department store at Providence place Mall they have amazing deals on Jewelry they have $5 tables $10 tables $20 tables they also sell Clinique and Estee Lauder and perfumes and clothing and shoes and housewares lots of good deals and sales going on but they can be a little on the pricey side except for their sale items and the jewelry tables are excellent they also give away samples if they have them at the beauty counters

Recently I had the chance to spend a lot of time to shop at Boscov's at the Providence Place Mall. The customer service there is amazing. It reminded me of my shopping experiences 30 years ago when Nordstrom opened at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. You could not get just 100 feet inside the door with at least two, sometimes three salespeople asking what they could do for you Deepak and Maria G. were SO helpful when I was purchasing some china. They were also very professional. Truly they both went above and beyond even holding my merchandise until I retrieved my wallet out of my car. Josmari and Maria G. also were amazing. When I asked about gift wrapping, they explained although they are unable to wrap (covid) but would be happy to give a box, gift wrap and box for items I'd purchased. Another amazing employee was Miguel. He also went above and beyond finding a price for me. Every single one of these employees had the greatest attitude, service-oriented, polite and kind to those around them. I felt Boscovs is so lucky to have them as part of their team. Thank you, Boscovs and all of you who make my shopping a great experience. PS Many weeks ago I also purchased some Clinque and a man in this department helped me. He was SO helpful, patient and I ended up loving the powder he found for me.

I needed black pants and found some. I asked the girl if the fitting rooms were open. Not only did she say yes but she actually took the time to walk me over to it. ☺ She went the extra mile. I bought one pair there. 2 more online identical and an additional different pair, which after they came in the mail, I had to exchange them for a different size. A week later I did the curbside pickup but for some reason that was a complete fail. I showed up to get them and nobody even pulled them. They never even got the notification alert that I placed a curbside. It was okay because they had 3 of them right on the rack so I just grabbed one and brought it over to pay. Overall I really like this store so far.

Got a nice Dunder Mifflin shirt from the graphic tee section for $10 and the cashier checking me out was very nice. Their selection of clothing items is pretty big and their prices are very reasonable as well. There are also multiple floors with well-organized sections so shopping is a breeze.

My daughter in law took me shopping here. I know now why she enjoys it. I love it. Besides having great price range and good quality, they have carriages too. I have difficulty walking so that’s a big plus. Isles wide clean and so organized. They have everything, even delicious fudge. Customer service was wonderful and free wrapping was so helpful. I came across Boscov’s while looking for a coat I saw at Vince Camuto, Macy’s and Dillards; they had the coat listed 70% less then Vince Camuto, and 50% less than what the other two had listed…. I was skeptical, thinking, there’s no way it’s legit. Wayyyyyy! It’s legit! And the shipping was super fast. The cost fits perfect! And I’m even more thrilled at the savings! I’ll have to make an in person trip now that my online experience was so seamless. They also had free shipping and a 10% discount code. The coat is beautiful 🤗.

This is the type of store I was hoping would arrive at the mall. Staff are helpful and there are enough of them to actually help you (unlike at Macy's). Finding things is easy and the men's clothing was high quality at good prices. Happy with my purchase and have been back several times since. Thanks Boscov's.

I visited during the grand opening and saw Debbie Boone perform...she was great and definitely 5 stars and I enjoyed the store. There are many different items to browse. Some really good deals. Spent $90 -- unfortunately a lamp that I bought sparked when I plugged it in at home and never worked, so I had to return it. My second visit for the return was kind of horrendous. The employee had no idea how to do a return, even after I circled the UCP code myself. She told me that I had gotten the lamp for free. Then that I only paid $1.99 for it. She was confused, and so was I because all of the info was on the receipt. I went up to the courtesy desk and they had problems helping me as well. I did finally get my money back, but it was so unnecessarily difficult. Coming from someone who has 15 years retail and customer service experience. Not sure I want to ever go back, but do enjoy the home goods section.

Tons of great stuff. Was there on a Friday afternoon and it was a little hard to find help on the sales floor. This store has 3 floors of stuff. My favorite is the top floor with the as seen on tv items, candy counter and kitchen stuff. Good deals on everything. I would park close if you plan on a shopping trip here.

Great they carry everything at great prices even furniture and have candy on the thrid floor which we love. This department store is the way old departments stores used to be many years ago completely full service with a very helpful staff. Absolutely love shopping here for the home goods. My only minor request would be for them to carry more mens sweaters. But they really are a great deaprtment store

Totally amazed!!! Went to Macy's looking for a black suit for work. Didn't have my size pants (42). Had about 2 40s. Insane! So I went to Boscov's. Best move I made that day. Got a suit. There was plenty to chose from. And I ended up paying $120 for the jacket and pants. Unbelievable!!! I can't wait to go back Christmas shopping this week.

Throughout my life I never enjoyed shopping at department stores as when I need help or need a question answered aka known as poor customer service. Learning by trial and error in my previous business I found that the best customer service people have these three character traits; they enjoy helping people, do not take themselves too seriously and have a really good sense of humor. Others can give good customer service but they have to work on it, Also mostly all department stores except for the cosmetic departments have so few employees on the sales floor and are stretched out so thinly that there is no way they are physically able to give a shopper the individual attention that they deserve. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service at Boscov’s. I was definitely impressed. Although there were sales personnel from other Boscov stores it was apparent that the new employees were pretty well trained with the majority of them having the qualities I would look for to give excellent customer service.

The only problem at Boscov is that when I’m ready to check out, there is never a check out person available. And I mean never. You always have to wait for someone to spot you at the checkout counter. Once I had to go down to the shoe department from the men’s dept. in order to check out.

I love the idea of a family owned department store here in 2019 when big businesses - a la Amazon -rule all. However, considering their whole draw over a JCP or Macy's is the personal touch and dedication to customer care, I'm surprised that on their opening day I walked every department, caught eyes with about 20+ employees, and not one greeted me or asked me if I needed assistance. I'm sure it was a busy, hectic day as it was their opening day but if a customer smiles at you....smile back and say hello! Not a good look for a new company. I'll be giving them another chance as the prices seemed decent, there were some cute clothes and unique finds plus I frequent this mall, but I think they need to put the focus on customer care. In the age of internet retail is the only thing that will set you apart!

Place is all the hype. Prices seemed a bit lower but quality of what was there seemed better w Nordstrom. I wish the place good luck, but in this website world it may be tough. I was not blown away with what was there. They do have a chocolatier there which I found odd, yet neat. Hmmm. Maybe they will do well and succeed, but if Nordstrom couldn't....I feel this will be tough. Good luck though Boscov's!

Boscovs is similar to JC Penney, Sears and Macy's but it has its own charm. They possibilties are endless when you go in the store. I think in the future non-covid i will spend many hours there.

Thank you Nordstrom for leaving Providence Place because we wouldn't have this WONDERFUL Boscov's store here otherwise! Literally everything you can think of under one roof with even a bargain area on the third floor that rivals any dollar store! Been almost daily since it opened, even bought boxes of facial tissue there! A first class addition to an already great downtown shopping area!!! To the lady who whined about only one restroom, what do you expect, Port A Potties in every other aisle?! Welcome to Providence Boscov's, you have a customer for life!!!
