They've been around a very long time and I've always had my frustrations with spending money at R&R'S, as a simple 'Hi' would definitely feel welcoming when you walk through the door. That being said, customer service has improved with new faces in the store who are willing and enthusiastic to help me find what I need. Sometimes that one simple gesture makes or breaks a decision to spend hundreds of dollars during a single visit.

So I've been here three times now. And I bought two Arrma RC cars from them. Both experiences were good. The staff seems knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend checking them out if you're in the area and need RC anything cars planes boats. They also have a mechanic on site that can do repairs.

I've been going there since they were in their old location. I've always been impressed with the wide variety of stuff they are able to stock. The owner's definitely an airplane guy, and I've felt like he didn't want to be bothered with questions in other areas, but that's his passion and I understand that. They have other employees that specialize in other areas so as long as you can get there on appropriate days, they can answer all your questions. They are always helping people out with technical questions, as well as in house repairs, so they are very helpful . Their prices seem high, but they are equivalent to any other hobby shop I've been to. I enjoy the casual atmosphere and being able to look around at everything without being bombarded by salespeople .

We bought my son His very first RC car here for his birthday. The man that helped us was very friendly, knowledgeable and made it a fun experience for my son. He picked out the traxxas slash! We were so impressed with how fast it went and he had so much fun. We had issues with the charger, we called them up and went in to exchange it. The man that helped us today was great he exchanged the charger for us after checking our battery too. He also gave my son a charger for the house😁. It was so kind and I really appreciated the customer service we got. I definitely recommend them and will be back to get him upgrades and other toys. They also have the coolest race area for RC cars there. So thank you to them.

This is a good place to go if you know exactly what you're looking for. They can order stuff for you. Lots of stuff for every hobby out there. The reason I am giving a 4 star is because of the prices. They are expensive. Very friendly staff. Parking is in the parking lot. They have models, RC, Ariel like helicopters and planes that are RC, and miniature dollhouses with accessories. Too much to list. Good for the beginner collector or advanced hobbyist. Check them out.

We stopped in here thinking that we would find Dungeons and Dragons collectibles. However upon entering we found out that it was a VERY nice RC hobbyist / model place. The folks we talked to in here were nice and helpful even though they knew they wouldn't get any business from us.

A bit over an hour's drive from Rome this place was well worth the trip. Extensive stock of models, rockets, and all sorts of gas, electric, and remote powered vehicles, drones, and more. Friendly, knowledgeable service, and COVID rules followed to a T.

Great place, out of stock with the Corona, otherwise great hobbyshop, I go for rcs, which are generally cheaper here, especially in the upper range prices. Customer service is good, could be better, but it's personally run, and they try real hard to accomadate everyone, so intent is there but sometimes others might get the short answer cuz thier so busy with others, it may seem as thier lazy and don't want to look, (when calling) but they are just busy, they know thier stuff about rcs, I think they underestimate what I know lol but whatever, they'll figure it out all in all very helpful, and a very decent store, the four stars is because theme customer service and that touch of know it all attitude, or that you should know, when thier the paid pros lol. Again love the people thier just honest review.

Great place but they are not stocking as much stuff for us scratch builders. They have plenty of foamies though. Foam won't get you home lol

This is not the best spot for a train enthusiast. My son collects Lionel and MTH O Gauge trains and they have one small aisle devoted to O, G, and HO gauge models and starter sets. They have track and some scenery, but the selection is limited, so it's hit or miss if you're looking for an add-on car to your set. The staff is friendly, but the focus seems to be on RC products. They also have a smattering of dollhouse items and other toys, so I've found it's a good resource for out of the ordinary small toys.

This place is all about r/c. Not sure why they advertise plastic models. They are very high priced, way better options are available online. I believe because it is the only option anywhere in this area you have no choice and they sure know it. As far as being considered a "hobby shop"..it is really.. underwhelming and ehh.

I knew I love this store. The minute I walked through the door. There are model cars and model airplanes in every direction. The model airplanes go from what people consider drones to very large rc airplanes.. If I knew where to fly something that big I would have it after that trip. My daughter found doll house accessories to entertain her. I took off a star for being closed on Sunday. I just think Saturday and Sunday would be natural days to be open at the minimum.
