Craft stores are going by way of the dinosaur. Michael's is one of the few stores in the Greater Portland area. They have much of what you need for painting, crafting, creating etc. I did notice quite a few empty shelves (might be supply chain or employee/help issues). I need some assistance to find what I needed, the employee was attentive and courteous.

Alot of really nice stuff only problem I had was some of the prices were high on cricket and supplies. But on the other hand it might be worth it to you and you won't wàist 3-7 days shipping! Both are good and bad! But they have a very good supply in store

What can I say.... It has every crafty thing you need and would expect from a Michael's. Not too crazy about self-pay system though. Wasn't given any other option. We watched another couple have to wait Lmost 5 minutes for an associate to help them with ringing out, which brought the line movement to a crawl.

Always great here and everyone is so helpful they are never pushy at closing time which for me is very important as I struggle with anxiety, so, often times the best time for me to be in stores is late evening when not many other people are in the store. I find many stores are extremely pushy to get you out even as far as claiming they are closed as much as 10 minutes before they actually close. I understand everyone wants to get home but they could be a little kinder in how they approach customers not be rude and just about shove you out. Thank you Michael's for NOT being that way towards customers and letting them finish up their shopping. I will always appreciate you.

The store has been a mess for at least 2 months. I’m always shopping reaching over boxes and carts of merchandise. The last time I went the cashier forgot to put all of my items in my bag so when I got home I didn’t have what I needed to complete a project. Today they tried telling me I already used my rewards when I didn’t. It’s always something new.

We found one of the items that we were looking for. The inventory is pretty thin in the areas that my daughter and I have interest. The sooner the truck drivers grow up and get vaccinated the sooner they can get back to work. Personally, I think the truck drivers should just be replaced. The companies that they work for should invest in a bunch of automatic transmission big rigs and then hire and train people who actually want to work. Automatic transmissions will attract drivers who otherwise wouldn't be interested in driving. These people will actually appreciate the money that truckers make. They make really good money in most cases and in others they earn decent money. Thank you.

What a fantastic dinner we had! The food and service was excellent! I hadn't been there for a few years and it was just as nice as remembered! We were there on an overcast day and lights in the trees were lovely. The Edison style lights on the porch would have been great, too ... if they'd been on!

I bought a frame and needed a mat to go around a picture verse for my son. I was helped by a very knowledgeable young lady who knew exactly what I needed. She took measurements and took her time and explained the process. She said it would take 2 days. I got the call in 2 days. The picture and the mats look smazing!!

I haven't been to the store in a long time. I went looking for scrapbooking materials. The shelves seemed low on stock, but I'm not sure. I struggled to find the stickers I wanted, but settled on a few good ones. The cashier was amazingly helpful because I was having trouble with my phone. I couldn't get my coupons up at first and she offered to use her phone to get her discount for me. I thought that was so nice. Then, when I did get my coupons up, she talked me through getting them available for her to scan. I appreciated her immensely

Prices were a lot higher than other Michaels I've been to recently, it comes out the setup was not conducive to easy shopping, they had boxes and things that need to be unloaded just lying in the aisle

The majority of the shelves were bare, they didn't have any of the items I went in looking for, and the things I did find were a little more pricey than I would have hoped. Most of the other craft stores went out of business due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but I can't for the life of me imagine why THIS one is the one that lasted. I ended up spending over $40 to put some small chocolate pops the size of a quarter on my daughter's birthday cake.

Stuff is anywhere rather being where it really goes. Appearance to the customer is horrible, dust is piled high, floor needs mopping or better yet a shine to it and nobody can not live off of the hourly wage even with a second job. I have had problems with roommates stealing stuff and money so I can't trust people and concentrate on my job. Store in South Portland has all of these problems that I listed above. Also, that store closed earlier than what the sign says on the door which deters me from going in that store.

The store has been revamped and looks great. Prices better than AC. Moore, and staff was super sweet. My only disappointment was that I was looking for information on a Cricut machine and no one knew anything about them. Not the staff’s fault, someone should be making it a priority to train them....especially since they had about 15 Cricut machines behind the register....someone behind the register should know about them! I was ready to buy one yesterday.

I found what I was looking for when A C more did not have it, But A C more is so much more inviting and i would go there first. Sorry Michael's but you need more stuff and a better display. Take a walk through A C then re design your layout just a bit. Don't get me wrong Michaels is a good store.

Michaels (in Biddeford)is a really nice and clean store. It pretty much had everything I was looking for. The reason I gave them a 3 star is pricing. Two items I purchased were actually double the price I found at Walmart. One of the items was $3.97 at Walmart and $7.49 at Michaels. Another item was $9.87 at Walmart and $18.99 at Michaels.

Teeny tiny leather section, by no fault of theirs, floor staff seems to be more interested in stocking shelves, racing past you, I leave empty handed sometimes because I just answer my own question "I guess they don't have it".
