Very kind and helpful staff. I did a lot of research before my purchase but they were experienced enough to fill the gaps in my knowledge. Great selection of supplies for reptiles and amphibians. I never asked, but it seems like they source their animals from reputable breeders and treat them well while they're for sale. My White's Tree Frogs, which I got as froglets, are now fully grown and have never had any health issues.

Staff are friendly.and prices are as expected but 80% of the fish I bought from World Wide have died within a day or two and I gave them a second and third chance but no more. Good thing my guppies breed well and have lots of fry or my tank would be empty! And YES, I brought a sample of my tank water that they tested and it was fine for tropical fish environment! Whatever the reason or excuse, no more wasting money on fish from this establishment...... $.02 🇺🇸

The selection of fish was astounding, basically all the fish I had planned out Were there except for the apistogrammas, and many a fish was very hard to resist buying. However I cannot give full credit in good faith due to the condition I got some of my fish in, My loach has a rather battered tailfin and I have a tetra I have dubbed ''Sawtail'' Due to the fin damage I see on most of its fin I have a low quality picture that I edited to make it more obvious what it looks like that I will put below. (oh and I think some of the other tetras have fin rot)

I just bought the most beautiful baby bearded dragon from them and I'm 100% in love. Update: She's very happy, the light of my home. 10/10, fantastic little girl. I liked how they housed them, too.

The staff at least at the counter does not seem too educated on reptiles.I asked the one guy about something that cost about 100 dollars,so I bought it and it was useless to me.It wasn't for my type of reptile.Expect to pay 30 dollars for dubia roaches.Their prices are pretty high but if you are waiting for an on line order it's a good back up.Really nice people but for a neighborhood reptile store you are gonna pay ,but it's close so what can you do?

Fantastic place. You want quality fish at a competitive price, go here. Waited patiently for about a month for their supplier to bring in a big beautiful male bristlenose pleco. Was worth the wait. He's been thriving for the past 2 months now.

Fantastic store! They’re knowledgeable and friendly, and we love Cricket too! I was going on so often for guinea pig supplies (we foster guinea pigs) and they even offered to order extra large bags of food and orchard grass to save me money and trips. If they don’t have something in stock they’ll order it, and our beardie we got there as a baby is doing great!

Great store, the staff are fantastic and educated. This pas Sunday I went to the establishment to get a leopard gecko and all that is needed for a bioactive setup, and one staff member provided me with all of the information needed. During my visit, I also bought decor for my future axolotl tank, all of it for great prices. For all of my future exotic pet needs, I will be shopping exclusively from Worldwide Aquarium and Pets.

The staff member knew which fish would do ok with all that I had. My fish are doing great, all getting along and all doing exactly what he said they would. I will be going back

It's a tiny store. They have a nice selection of fish, mostly small ones but it is a nice variety. They also have a few different types of lizards as well as Turtles, frogs, hamsters, snakes and it looks like they had a few other animals perhaps rodents didn't really look so I can't say what they were for sure. For such a tiny store they also have a nice selection fish tanks and accessories as well as many other things for your pets including bones for your canines and toys for your felines. I did not see any birds when this trip in there but I knew they used to carry them maybe I just didn't see them or maybe they no longer carry them I'm not really certain if that's what you're looking for you could always call and ask, they're very friendly and always helpful.

Locally owned business, who really only carry quality stuff for your pets. Willing to try product lines customers suggest, or get something special in. They always have healthy feeder rodents and insects in stock. Not the spot for mass market petfoods - I don't think they stock Purina. The employees are also super chill. Great vibe.

Just found this place yesterday. Staff were so helpful, made me feel really at home. The atmosphere is great and I will 100% go back again. Searching for clean-up crew insects in our area had been FRUITLESS until we came here, where they have springtails and 3 kinds of isopods!!! (Plus a cooler of live wiggly boys to feed your furry/scaly friends). my review: extremely poggers.

Amazing shop with even more stellar staff. My son has been hunting for a red bearded dragon for a while and we were fortunate there were none close to us in DE. We drove over an hour to World Wide Aquarium to get the dragon and it was well worth it. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I could not recommend a place more. Thanks for a great experience.

It was my first time there to buy fish for my tank, and I liked it. They didn't have Particularly what I was looking for, actually, None of the pet stores do, yet, and they're going to call me when they get them in, But, I did walk away with a couple of fish that I've never seen before, and a couple of plants for the tank as well. The staff was knowledgeable of the various fish and other creatures. They had several Beautiful discus fish but they're a little too expensive for my blood. Otherwise, I'll go back.

I was very impressed about the assortment of potential pets! They have a great supply inventory, but I gave them 4 stars because to have a cat as a mascot they did not have kitten formula or bottles that was the only disappointing thing.

Forget Chewy and support a great local business! Customer service is the name of the game here. If you're getting a large bag, they'll even carry it to your car for you. And if they don't have what you want in the store, they'll order it for you and have it in a couple days.

This place is very aquarium focused. But it does not without items for both dog and cats, it has a friendly shop cat and in the back parking complete with a nasty speed bump. Prices seem to be anywhere from on par to 5 % more expensive than something off Amazon. I can't speak to the aquarium side of things because I don't have a fish. Also if you want to bring your dog inside there is a prominent sign on the front door to let them know because of the aforementioned shop cat. The only reason I dinged this place is that the layout is cramped and the floor seems to be littered with trip hazards be it uneven carpet or just narrow spaces you have to squeeze past with jutting shelved.

A fair selection of premium and mid range dog food. Scores of different fish varieties, and well stocked for pets in terrariums and aquariums. Friendly staff and helpful staff, but could use a bit more knowledge on specific dog food dietary varieties (eg. We asked for senior recipes). Fair pricing. The store is a bit tight to walk through. All COVID protocols were followed by ther store.

Good- varied selection of fish, reptiles and inverts, friendly staff and wide arrange of produces Bad- reptile section- simply put those animals were in pretty small cages and those cages looked pretty bad considering lack of hides and stuff. Recommendation I have is for animals you know you'll have- turtles, ball pythons, etc I would say have decent size cages and make habitats out of it so the animals appear better. Overall not a bad place but improvements can certainly be made for the non fish love animals

Prices seem to be much higher in stores then stated on the website. Also make sure the fish is healthy before buying because one of the gold fish i purchased from this establishment had ick and it spread in my tank. The store employees are very kind and helped me quickly.

A great, small pet store with an emphasis on freshwater aquarium supplies and live stock. Don't let the lack of glitz deter you, the live stock looked healthy and there is a decent variety. The aquarium supplies seemed reasonably priced. I was able to get a recently released Fluval Flex aquarium for a long extremely competitive price. The staff is friendly and helpful, even carried the new tank to my car. Definitely worth a trip.

Great aquarium store for Philly. I often get feeder mice/rat pups for my son's ball python from them. They are friendly and customer service is good. I never feel ignored and never have to wait for service. Live feeder mice/rat pups/rats are hard to find in the city from my experience so we very much appreciate this service. They also have interesting fish and occasionally have rabbits and turtles. They have a great selection of unique snakes and reptiles but bring the coins for those. It's an old fashioned for real aquarium store, nothing like the chain stores (i.e pet smart, pet value, etc.) They are the real deal. If you've ever been in or heard of Martin's aquarium, this place reminds me of them just smaller.

I have been going here for over 3 years. All the pets I got have been in great condition. I recently got a Dojo Loach from there that is named DJ. I got him after the death of my oldest goldfish because the 2 others were lonely. DJ loves the tank and has been in great condition. This place truly cares about the animals unlike big chains like PetSmart and Petco. I also got 2 snails named Turbo and Flash. The people there are extremely knowledgeable about the animals and I will say it again, they car about them. If you want help with fish, I would recommend you go to the counter and ask to talk to Julian. He is there fish expert. If I could, I would give this place 10/5. Yes you heard me right, 10/5. They go so out of there way for the animals. :)

One of the only locally owned pet stores that still sells pets. Has a great aquatic selection, much different than any of the big box stores.. they are knowledgeable, and will order items for you if they don't currently have them in stock. Very helpful & courteous staff too. We travel here from the other side of the city regularly because they are that good at what they do.

Simply put...World Wide Aquarium is amazing! I don’t know what I would do without them. They are so well rounded as a pet store. They have the largest variety of reptiles under one roof in the area. The aquarium section is my personal favorite! Again, the variety is unparalleled. They have everything from goldfish to Tanganyikan cichlids. Any given day you walk in there you’ll always see something different! Rest assured you go here and they’ll have everything you need for caring for your pets, and more. I’ve known most of the staff up there my entire life and I can tell you they are personable, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable. The place is extremely well run and established. Couldn’t ask for a better local pet store. I feel like if I needed them to help me carry bags to my car they would. If I needed them to board my leopard gecko for a month while I traveled...they would, if I needed anything specific for any reason they’d order it for me no problem. This is a store full of solutions to all your pet’s needs, at a very reasonable price. I can’t thank them enough for all the good experiences I’ve had. 1st. Time here. Nice store, and I learned some history. That the original Owner of World wide Aquarium, had six stores with the same name. They were All sold to independent buyer, but keep the name. Now, I only knew about the one on Garrett Road, Upper Darby. But, I like there selection of South American Cichlids and African cichlids. The Prices aren't bad..customer service's is good. You would never expect the variety or the selection of fresh water fish when you walk in based on the humble exterior. I was blown away. They even have an African Cichlid section, which had the more AC's then any store in the Tri State area. S, M, L, even XL. I was helped by Devon who was really knowledgeable and patient, being as though he had so many questions about the store and there inventory. The owner even offered me an unbelievable offer that I will that I will take him up on next week on a tank ornament. Needless to say, the money I will save on gas is going into the tank. Great prices and selection. Wish I would have found out they were still around sooner.
