Moved to NJ end of 2020 and since then we have been taking our pet for grooming to this place. We love everything about the team. Booking an appointment is great, we do it every three weeks and we are always notified if there are any issues and they call us a day before or two to verify if there are any changes on our end. We have a doodle and due to weather he gets matted a lot, they have always patiently removed them whenever possible or got it trimmed accordingly without hurting our pup. Definitely recommend getting your pup groomed here ☑️💯 They make our pet look so handsome with scarfs, ties and our new female pet with bows. Sharing few pictures! They also take photos during festive seasons with a theme and share it with us ❤️ Shows how much they care about their clients

I took Lucy to My Love Pets and Grooming today and they were fabulous! You can't tell from the picture but Lucy was loving it!!! I recommend this place to everyone. Wish I had found this gem earlier. As a new dog mom I made the mistake of taking our baby to Petsmart for grooming. They ruined my babies haircut (I’ll insert a picture below). I waited 2 1/2 months for her hair to grow in and did a ton of research before booking her next appointment. I stumbled upon this gem while googling grooming services near me; the reviews are what made us book. The booking process was very easy and the staff incredibly friendly. On the day of the appointment the staff immediately knew who we were upon arrival & greeted us very friendly. I showed the young lady in the front a reference pic & she took a pic of it and showed it to the groomers. The groomers were polite and explained that Stella’s coat was a bit different but they would try to match the image which they did. Stella looked absolutely beautiful, smelled amazing and seemed happy. This will be my furever groomer. Thank you for such amazing service!! Do not hesitate & book your appointment. Truly appreciate the great customer service that they provided for me. Walking into the shop I immediately loved how quickly I was greeted and how organized and calming the atmosphere was. I have an Aussie Shepard named chase and they did such an amazing job with him. I’ve never seen him so happy and I can’t get over his smell. He has the most amazing smell ever and such a silky coat I am obsessed 😂😍! Most definitely happy with my experience and looking forward to taking him every three weeks. ❤️

This is the best groomer in Essex County! She’s an artist and a heartfelt animal lover. Believe me, I’ve been to multiple groomers for the past 20 years, she’s the real deal! She makes my 3 pups look like they just attended a dog show. For Thanksgiving, she actually gave me beautiful framed photos of my dogs. OMG, SO BLESSED I FOUND HER.

I’ve been taking my dog here for awhile now. He always looks so cute after grooming and the people that work at My Love are always nice. Today he got a little trick or treat goodie bag. What I love most about this place is they don’t over book which usually leads to your dog sitting in a cage for hours with no water. Make sure you book your appointment in advance because they are busy!

I found this business after Googling & calling many places & boy, am I glad I did! They treated my fur baby, Ash, with so much love. Everyone was super kind to the both of us. I was nervous leaving him (as this was his first time at a groomer's & my first time dropping him off some place); but I was quickly reassured by another customer that this was the best grooming service. Upon picking him up, they informed me he had an ear infection & gave me the tips to bring to the vet. They showed me the products I should be using & how often I needed to be using them. The groomer even came out herself to speak with me & show me the photos she took of him (I will attach one). When we were leaving everyone said goodbye & I made sure to make another appointment for 6 wks from now. Overall, this place was great & so were the people running it. His haircut was great, they filed his nails, cleaned his ears, & he smelled SO GOOD! Bottom line: Would recommend, would return.

Always a great job on grooming on our baby they have a great selection of food an healthy products for your pet. They also have a great line of clothing for your dogs. And the owners are polite an very helpful. So I recommend anyone come here for their pets needs an cuts. And the groomers they truly love our baby's,,it's not all about the money...They really love and treat your baby like it's theirs. I would give them 100 stars If I could.. It was easy to set up an appointment for my 2.5 month old mini poodle. They made sure she was the first one to be seen due to her young age. They are professional and clearly love animals,not to mention that the place is squeaky clean and smells lovely. They even gave me treats for my puppy for free. I absolutely loved this place. The staff treated my 7months American Bully like it was mommy giving him a bath, they truly love pets. I was nervous because my dog with all this social distance did not like anyone to pet him, but the staff gave him the love and treatment to change that behavior, I am so happy to see my dog feel confortable with strangers at first time. They are so professional, the place its super clean and the love and care its all around the place and their hearts. Will be my place forever. I came to this shop today and I absolutely loved it! I have tried many different grooming places and they never cut my dogs hair how I wanted it. When I came here they cut my dog exactly how I wanted! The owner was very nice, and all the employees were very respectful. The environment as a whole was very friendly. So my cat Ace was shedding like crazy and I had to do something about it. So i called a few groomers in the area and no one would take cats except My Love Pets. When I walked in the place is extremely clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They took Ace in the back and within about 35-40 min he was shaved down and looked amazing!!! No more hair all over the place in my apartment. I will definitely be returning for a regular grooming for Ace!!!! Oh and they have the best selection of food for animals in the area and the prices are great.

The in-laws found this little shop in a newsletter or newspaper of some kind. We brought in the little teacup Yorkie we have and are so glad we did. The staff is very welcoming and professional, the place has a great selection of treats, food, and much more...and best of all, after about two hours we were able to pick our little dog up who can actually see fully from her eyes again, is so soft, smells great, etc. Plenty of parking in the strip mall it’s in as well. We couldn’t imagine a better experience.

This place is a gem. It is hard, at least it has been for me, to find reliable and great groomers. These groomers are accommodating, love animals, lightning fast and do a great job. My dogs ALWAYS look and smell great and I love the extra touches, like bows on the ears and neck bows. If I could change anything it would be that the dogs get sanitary cuts because with the curly poodle hair, as the hair gets longer, poo gets stuck there and they wouldn't charge extra to use a credit card. (I always ask for the sanitary cut, but never seem to get it).

I frequently visisted this pet store while under the old owners. This store has come a long way since the new owners have taken over and I always buy my dog's food and get him groomed at this store. Arlene is hands-down the best dog groomer that I've been too. She adores dogs and is awesome at styling my dogs cut. A plus, they always give him a cute tie to come home with. I will not go to another groomer! Highly reccomend this store.

I am so glad that i was introduced to My Love Pets & Grooming. I absolutely loved my experience with my 4 month old shih-tzu. Both Arlene and Anthony are extremely knowledgeable in grooming and in the products that they sell there. Arlene allowed me to stay in the back with her and watch the entire time she was washing and grooming my baby. This was my first time coming to this establishment and I am more than happy with the service at My love Pets, the groomers were so welcoming and excited to cut my fur babies first haircut and they did an excellent job on her. I had such an amazing experience!!!! The woman are so friendly, sweet and care deeply about your pet. My little 9yr old Shorkie girl has always given every groomer a rough time cutting/filing her nails, and it was time to find a new place. For the first time i was not disappointed picking up Stella! These ladies are truly experts in their craft because not only did they make me feel so welcomed but they showed my girl so much love that made her comfortable enough to trust them to do their job. I am so impressed with this place. They provide excellent customer service. Arlene is an excellent pet groomer with many years of experience. Her love for dogs, cats and all pets is obvious. She provides gentle loving care and treatment to all of the animals entrusted to her. She really loves what she does, grooming is more than a job to her. She genuinely cares for the pets and when she is done with cutting and trimming, you won't believe it's the same pet you brought in the door. I love the little finishing touches like a scarf or the doggy stick on earrings or a ribbon collar. Each time is different. My puppy smells so good when I leave there with her, I love the cologne. She just does an awesome job! This store not only provides dog and pet grooming but is an established pet store that can fill all of your needs. They will special order anything you need as well! They even gave me free dog food samples to try for my puppy. I ordered food from them and had it in a day or two. Give them a try, with their excellent customer service and friendly welcoming atmosphere, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Just wanted to say a public thank you to My Love Pets and Grooming. They always do great job following my requests for how I'd like my two Labradoodles groomed, especially since these requests tend to change according to the season. Last week they reported that they'd identified an ear infection in one of my doodles. He had no symptoms, but when I checked his ear when we got home, sure enough, there was some inflammation and redness in the canal that was not visible by routine inspection. We began treating it that day, and he's fine now. I'm thankful the groomer pays such careful attention to every aspect of my pups!

My dog has lymphoma and has been very skittish lately so I have been worried about her being around people she doesn't know. Arlene was so sweet and gentle with my baby. She made a special appt for her considering her health needs!! She made her look beautiful and comfortable during the process. Love this place! They’re the best for grooming! My dog is a very nervous little guy and the owners and staff are the only people who know how to handle my dog and make him feel safe (not easy with my dog). I refuse to take my dog anywhere else because they are worth every penny. I came here for the first time for a dog grooming since other groomers could never seem to get my dog groom to the way that I wanted. The staff is very friendly and attentive to help you with all your needs. After a couple hours I received a call saying my dog was ready and to my surprise my dog look amazing. I love this pet shop! The owners make you feel like you are family not just a regular customer. My dogs are never afraid to stay for grooming and they are very flexible if I am a little late for my grooming appointment. Every time my dogs go here for a grooming they come back with either a bow, some cute bling or a tie/bandana for my boy. I feel so at peace when I drop off my dogs for grooming because I know they will be treated with with love and are going to look so cute and smell great. If you want good quality and exclusive brands of foods, this is the best place to go. My dogs are eating a food that not many people know about and this is the only pet store that carries such great quality foods. I tried this place out as per recommendation from my parents and sister. I took my 5 lb Pomeranian female and she came back looking fabulous! Most importantly she didn’t come back scared. They finished her up promptly and within 2 hrs my baby was finished. The dogs aren’t caged up in kennels all Day linen other places and are given option to roam while being supervised at all times. They even gave my baby bows and dog treats at no extra charge! Fast, friendly and wonderful. Will definitely be coming here again.

Highly recommend! I love this place is clean and the staff is friendly, I took my boy today for the first time and he came out spotless, I’ve tried other places and none were close to this one, they have a big window were you can see where they’ll hold your dog and it’s super clean, I personally don’t like places hiding my dog in the back, he left happy and calm which is always my concern, definitely coming back!

We can't say enough about this wonderful pet store. The owner's are a lovely couple who share a mutual love for pets! The store is fully stocked with a great deal of merchandise. The store is clean and cozy. We have two pitbulls and Arlene is now their favorite groomer. The younger of the two is not the easiest and is 90 pounds but that is no trouble for her at all. This business treat all animals with love and respect. This is a great place to fill all of your pets wants and needs. We prior used a large chain for groomer but now find this most convenient!

Me and my wife took our 7 year old toy pom here for a grooming for the first time ever yesterday. they blew me away with the service. Everyone there was so amazing and helpful. They did an amazing job with my dog and her grooming. Not only that, they gave me an awesome goodie bag filled with samples of food and treats for my dog!! They were also very affordable. Having a pom the groomings can be pricey because they are high maintenance. I will be returning again! If you are local give them a shot, you won't regret it.

Two big dogs, one older and very calm and one younger who is the complete opposite. Every pet is treated with love and respect, this business goes to all lengths to accommodate all of your needs. Kodi is a 9 month old American Eskimo , the smaller dog. 15 lbs. He had a bad experience with his first groomer. I kept up with him. As an experienced dog owner I did his trimming and grooming. But I needed help. I was so worried about him , he’s a total mommas boy , and nervous nelly. We all know how that is. Not only was my dog extremely happy when I picked him up , which only a mom would know , but he looked incredible ! I love her. Kodi loves her. That place is best. I have been tried a few closer to my home but not even one can compare to MY LOVE PETS. Stuff are very very friendly. Place are neat and clean. They answer any question you ask. My English is not perfect but they never get impatient with me. They explained the way I understand. Max really love the place and we love the way he looks after grooming . Price are very fair. My dog has a very dry and sensitive skin and I brought with me the shampoo (I bought in the same store) each time and there is no problem with that with use it. Other places not acce7pt that or simply my stuff is misplaced. The stuff and owners know that ourd doggie are very important for us so they are important for them. You can see they really love pets. I had really wished I started coming to this place earlier. Small business owned & personalized ! It was getting difficult to go to our regular groomer, and we didn’t what brand name store, my cousin recommended this place saying it was great. I was very skeptical! But my Sophie needed a cut and I came here first on MDW and it was busy! But my baby was out in 2 hours and it was great, second time around we decided to go back and we left even happier ! Sophie had a cute cut and she had exactly what I wanted which was a bow! I have been letting her hair grown just for that, so I’m veey pleased with that. I noticed they carry actual dog food(not purnia) and even raw food! Super impressed!! Aside from that they offer other products for other animals ranging from cat to fishes, they actually have a good decent variety not the stuff you find in the big brand names. Last but not least my favorite part, they have a good decent quality and material dog clothes, and they currently have Halloween outfits! What makes me happy again it’s not the poor quality you see in other stores it’s very good quality, which again leaves me impress. Not to mention they also offer cute cookies for dogs again I seriously love. I believe the owner unfortunately didn’t catch his name in very knowledgeable in his products and food information as well which is reassuring when you know someone operates a business because they genuinely love what they do. I’ll see if I can post photos A hidden gem thats under appreciated but definitely worth checking out

Just took my beagle/jack russel mix in for a full grooming. Teeth,nails, anal glands, ears, and bath. The price was just right and my baby has never looked so girly! They put a zebra print scarf and stick on earrings on her. She also smells so good! Everyone there was super sweet and they even gave us a small bag sample of Ancestry dog food and treats to go. I will definitely be going here in the future and telling all of my doggie parents as well!
