I love this Hobby Lobby. It has every craft & home decorating item possible. You can find paint, sewing, crafting supplies & more. Gorgeous fabric choices from clothing to upholstery options & lots of notions: lace, ribbons, buttons etc…I can get lost forever in here. Staff is patient, friendly & super helpful. Conveniently located on busy route 22 in Union NJ.

This is the first time I've ever been in a hobby lobby and I have to say I was so impressed. They have so many cool little knickknacks and stuff for the holidays. I went here because I needed to help my kid build a science project and we needed it to buy a couple of little things. 4 stars only because you don't. Unfortunately the staffing union is just I don't know how to explain it. They all just have this look on their face as if I'm doing something wrong for shopping in their store. It really is a shame but the store is outstanding. I would highly recommend it.

LISA is hands down the best employee around , if you ever need help look for the friendly face with long brunette hair and awesome highlights. Amazing friendly customer service, will help you with anything . It’s like talking to someone you have known for years, extremely personable in a professional way . She always saves the day! She saved hobby lobby , she’s a hero ! The ashy tray outside was smoking and went over and dissembled it and got the smoke to stop. She’s the best !

It was fine, staff was nice. I did obtain an small injury. One of the decorations for sale had an medal point sticking out of it and it punctured me and made me bleed. I informed a sales person and he removed the item from the shelf but not b4 noticing there was dry blood on the item which means others had been punctured as well. Just praying I don't catch anything.

I'm posting 4 stars instead of 5 because of the staff. Hobby Lobby is a great place for everything one needs when crafting or just about anything DIY. On today's visit I was surprised by how unhelpful and just plain uninterested, not one, but every staff member I interacted with was. Somewhat disappointed! With that said, if you know what you want, have a little time, get off the couch and make a trip...you will leave with more than you ever walked in to get. Lol😊😊😊😊 this time it was dyed yarn for me!!!🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶

Always find what I need and a little extra. Stop in to the store because they had some Christmas items on sale for 50% off and ended up getting items for Thanksgiving, Christmas and 2 events I have coming up. This is a event planners dream for small scale parties with a Big Wow factor...Also found the letters for our home... They have a large variety of novelty goods for the whole family. And the Christmas themes are in abundance I would however urge if you need a particular color the store continuously stocks but the inventory runs just as fast.

Store is always clean, and organized. Prices are always clearly marked and when an item is on sale, or clearance there's plenty of signs in that general area. Product range in a wide large selection, from BBQ tools, to feathers, to frames, and home decorations. Overall this is a great store, that you can find a house gift for someone, or toys, or a hobby supply.

I love me some Hobby Lobby but my last visit I have to say that staffing needs to be more helpful. If I buy a recycle bag, why is it that the staff member checking me out not putting my stuff in my bag? So no bags in NJ means they don't bag your items anymore? Joans & Micheals does.

Great stock and prices but could use more cashiers; especially when I'm shopping on my lunch hour. They also need to start using scanners for checkout and not punching individual product codes into the register..

expect long SLOW LINES AT CHECKOUT, the corp bosses never update computer system so the clerks must look up ALL SALE ITEMS ON A NEWSLETTER BROCHURE. STOOPID, but they do have good sales! Probably 30-50% less than Michaels rip off store.

Lots and lots of home craft items here - right now its Fall and Christmas. Don't come here for any of those pesky pagan Halloween items, though. Not their target audience. I was actually surprised to see some dinosaur stickers there. Same for some Marvel licensed items (Thor is a Norse god, right?)

I went into this HOBBY LOBBY inquiring about employment and got swept away with the excellent customer service and vast variety of items in every section of the store. I only have 1 bad thing to say about the Hobby Lobby of Springfield Pa. and that is they don’t furnish their customers with late or absence notes for taking the day off or taking too long when shopping there on work days!!!😂🤣😂 If you have a decorative vision, They definitely have what you’re looking for. Great Management, Great Staff, Great deals for the creative mind!!!

hobby lobby used to be so wonderful as the smell of the burnt crisp hair ran through the air. I would see a emo girl standing in the depths of her cashier waiting for a customer to come her way. I miss those times so much. I could tell very much she was the main character as she had a small picture of namjoon in left side pocket waiting for her one and only to come get her.

I was able to find the items I needed and more. I even called before I went to the store and the employee did a floor check, confirmed and told me which register I would find the item I was looking for, on hold. All the seasonal, promotional decorations were in stock. I will be back to grab more items for my craft projects.

Huge store for crafters and much more! They have fabrics and sewing supplies too. The only downside are the very long checkout lines. Additionally, when I went to buy fabrics, there was only one person to cut the fabrics and the line got a little long.

I enjoy these places too much. I think I redecorated two rooms of my home IN MY HEAD about five times on my last Hobby Lobby trip! Maybe I'll do a Parisian theme! Or Moroccan?! Beach theme? I'm overwhelmed... but with lots of great ideas. I'm a fan of Chroma Inc products and really wish that was something Hobby Lobby supplied. They do not at this point, so I'm still getting those paints from another supplier. This particular location, on the afternoon I visited in April, was busy but managed socially distanced lines with no problems and no significant wait times. The store was clean and, despite a tremendous inventory, seemed organized.

This Hobby lobby is clean organized the employees are all very friendly. There is a lot to choose from and on this visit I had a small glimpse into my childhood. The actually had several types of vintage doll house made of wood. You should check it out if you haven't and create your own magic. Oh and don't worry about parking they have lots...

Nice new store. Very roomy and well lit with plenty of products. Their holiday products are a must to see at reasonable prices. All you craft needs can be found here. They are closed on Sundays which I think is good for their employees. They have a large parking lot. Since it is located on route 22 be prepared to get in and out fast with the traffic on route 22.

This is a dangerous store for me! Love, love, love! It's a decorator and crafter's dream! So many aisles of tempting items to choose from! My favorite aisle to check is the clearance area-- you never know what you might find there! Be sure to get the app and coupon before you check-out....usually works on a regular priced item!

I love Hobby Lobby. I always find what I'm looking for. I do a lot of sewing and I love the quality of the fabric material, the ribbons and rickrack, and the selections. I also love the quality of the felt squares they sell: nice and thick. The seasonal selection has a lot to choose from. Most importantly their prices are very good and the staff is always friendly and willing to assist.

First time there and looks very organized and clean. They had what I came there to get from jump. Customer service from one of the employees was great in leading my wife and I to the right location. He stood there until we was very pleased with all the questions we ask...lol. But as we was about done with the employee, he asked if we had the app and we answered no. He then told us to dl app and we will save 40% on our purchase today. Now me being very conservative I said (Hell Yeah) and told him thanks so much for saving us money but, also said thanks for the knowledge and help. Now I only gave 4 out of 5 due to some of the prices in store. But overall it was fun and 5 below is next store which is a plus.

She apologized for her fellow employees & directed me to their 40% off coupon online. Their inventory is massive & it's much closer to my home than their competitors.

Mostly a hit, rarely a miss. Coming from the south, I'm a huge Hobby Lobby fan and I was so happy when NJ finally jumped on the bandwagon. Easy accessible location with huge parking lot. Large selection of any and all crafting, decor, and general art needs. 90% of the staff is friendly, fast, and attentive. Occasional rude cashier (maybe just a bad day?). The Islin location is larger, and has a bit of a different selection, but not enough to trek down there frequently. Be sure to bring your 40% off coupon!

A good collection of stuff for the serious & casual crafter. From holiday decorations to stitching to painting to yarns and household decorations, they have it. The environment is comfortable and usually if you need help, it's available. The yarns are overpriced but it's still a good selection. My favorite time of year to shop there is Christmas. They have everything. The scrapbooking section is also good. Definitely a keeper for me!

This is a nice store but PLEASE count your change when you check out. Three times I have been shorted money upon checkout at this store. I have caught it each time when given the money back. Now I don't know if it's just me and the dark cloud or incompetent or dishonest workers but keep your eye out. The kicker is I shop a lot not just here but in general and have never been shorted in all these years other then shopping at this Hobby Lobby, not once but three times, crazy

Ok pretty good selection of a wide variety of products. However, why would you sell storage jars AND NOT sell replacement gaskets, they (gaskets) eventually they dry out become brittle and NO LONGER make a seal!!!

Good stop for kids project supplies. Well stocked store with everything from home decorations, arts & crafts supplies, to a few model rockets and pinewood derby parts. Somehow, cashier counter is always understaffed, and there will be a line and a bottleneck at checkout evey day of the week, even if there are only 2 people in the store.

Went in to buy some fabric and materials for a wreath project. Ma'kaiah (spelling may be incorrect. I'm sorry!!) Was our cashier and was so sweet! We had two associates help us with the fabric and the first woman to help us, Renee, was extremely rude and dismissive. Someone with an attitude like that should not be in customer service. The second associate who helped us in the fabric depart was Jules and she was so friendly! She answered all of our questions and even made small talk about the projects we were working on! Would go back just for Ma'Kaiah and Jules!

A very nice craft/hobby/everything knick-knack, store. Wonderful wood, metal, and picture frames, with beautiful sayings. A very large selection of pictures with great scenery. If you are of CHRISTian faith this is the store for you. VERY large selection of CHRISTian products. There is also a very large selection of crafting supplies and products. On our visit they were putting the CHRISTmas and holiday decorations away but there was still a large amount on display at a great discount. Just be advised ... don't go there on Sunday. They are closed so there staff can worship and be with family.
