We’ve been going here for 3 years. Very knowledgeable staff that will bulk order food for our pups. The ownership came out to do a meet and greet and were very nice guys - gave our big pup a toy. We keep coming back to Michele for grooming as she does a fantastic job and you can tell she really cares about the pets in her care. Highly recommended…

This location is a bit tricky to get in and out of but don't let that discourage you. The selection of products is good and the staff is friendly. Dog wash bays so don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit.

I want to thank Shawn for his service today. I tried multiple times to get the diy wash bays to work and could only get cold water and no soap. I was ready to leave with a cold shivering dog and he stopped me, ran back and got the machine to work. Thanks for going to the extra mile to ensure I left as a satisfied customer. I have taken my dog to the Spots in east for the self bath service a few times now. A little noisy with another dryer running during my dogs bath but overall nice place for a self service bath. The first time we went was the first nice day of spring and we went in the afternoon, the water was cold. Let the front guy know and he was very apologetic and mentioned the baths had been running non stop all day and gave me a free coupon for my next bath as an apology and would let owners know the rest of the day. Next few times the water was hot and able to adjust for my dog. I bring my own shampoo because my dog is a little sensitive but the water pressure with the rinse was great for her coat. I like that its a flat rate for any size dog. Store has good selection of toys, brushes, etc and bought my dog a bone after her bath that she loves! Will continue to bring my dog for baths

Everyone here are great with customers and the dogs. I lost my Lady, who was a frequent flyer here, 10 days ago and had a groom for my Dauschund on Tues. She is missing her sister so much and was acting out for them. They called me to inform they weren't going to push her for the groom and to bring her back in a few weeks. I'm so thankful they called others may have just pushed her to be groomed but they understood and were very kind. I'll be back with her in a few weeks. She's slowly coming back to herself. Today was our first visit and it was Amazing!!! I have a 90lb 1 year old German shepherd ( Alexander)and I was a little skeptical about leaving him because he hasn't really been around other people . They staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Alexander smelt Amazing and was thoroughly cleaned. We've found our new Groomers !!! Can't wait for our next visit.

Not a great vibe this visit.. very very hit and miss .. staff is not helpful. They “close” at 7pm but if you show up at 5:40 be prepared for the bathing stations to be all closed.. and a sigh from staff .. water that is usually warm to hot was lukewarm at best .. my dog was shivering .. etc .. it is that hard to just do the basics .. it’s a self-bathing setup 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love this place and so does my basset hound Sweets!! It takes me 15-20 minutes to give her a great bath and blow her dry. No mess, no bending over the tub, no muddy yard, no dirty towels, no clean-up after I clean her up and it's under $15 bucks!! The staff at the East Nashville location are very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate having somewhere to wash my dog and it not take up my entire day. :)

Went for a DIY dog wash. As advertised, they provide all the things you need for a complete (and affordable!) pet pampering session. Under $14 out the door, including: real dog tubs, shampoo, ear and dental wipes, a doggy hair dryer, and staff to assist. A real bargain!!

The DIY dog wash is a total game changer for my 2 medium/large breed dogs. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I kept one dog tied up by the tub, while I was bathing the other one - every employee that walked by pet the one who was tied up, which made my anxious pup more comfortable. My dogs looked and felt great, I stayed dry, and all for $25. Money well spent to not have a muddy yard, a messy house, and dirty towels... not to mention, they got a better bath this way!

I just moved from Florida to Nashville and went in and saw they carry brands I use, well recently my pup stopped eating her food, it was so great that they let me try some samples in store and we found a food my pup will eat! It wasn’t to bad, but it wasn’t great. The soap would not come out for nothing I tried all the soap options and all that came out was water, so my dog left smelling like a wet dog. Also all the brushes had hair left in them from the last dogs that were there.

They have high-end options for food but not a lot of your basic selection. For everyday items and toys they have a great selection however. Really great spot to bathe your pet and the staff is always very helpful.

Have been taking multiple dogs here on a daily basis for the past 3-4 years. Have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff has been very friendly and professional. The people at the front desk have been nothing but kind (Michael, Mandy, Maggie, etc etc) and are always very welcoming when I drop off or pick up. It’s nice to know my dogs are in such good hands whenever I’m not with them. I love being able to check in on my pups on their camera system, too. It helps put my mind at ease seeing them have such a good time. They’ve also got a doggie pool for when it’s hot. How cool is that?! Would highly recommend Dog Spot East if you live in the area and need a place for daycare/boarding.

Nice place to board your dog for a weekend away, it's nice to be able to check up on them through out the day using the cameras. I wish they had a bit larger pool area, and that they would upgrade the cameras though. Overall one of the best places to board your pup.

This place is so amazing and the staff are incredible! I went in because a lady next door was feeding a stray cat and then she moved away/long vaca... Who knows. The kitty kept crying and coming back so I went in to get cat food. The guy who was working on 6/16/16 showed me around, told me about all kinds of food, and then he went ahead and hooked me up about 2 weeks worth of free cat food samples. Left me speechless! I went ahead and picked up some dehydrated treats for my pups and they loved it. I will no longer drive to petsmart and come back to this gem from now on! Thank you!!!

We take our 7 month old puppy here for day care and he loves it. As a dog mom, I love being able to watch him on the cameras and I really appreciate the fact that the play areas are supervised at all times. My dog sleeps for 15 hours straight after coming home from day care! We look forward to trying the Dog Spot for boarding in the future too.

The Dog Spot rocks! I love bringing my dog here and he loves going here! I have been bringing him here pretty much since they opened in September, 2011. It is clean and has a gorgeous outdoor area as well as a spacious indoor area (I have an 85lb high energy dog so he loves being able to run around.) The staff, especially, Kayla the manager and Chad the Owner, are wonderful, approachable and open to feedback. The location is also great for us East Nashvillians and, last but not least, they throw great parties for dog owners and other folks in the community- what's not to love?!

The staff here are really friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are very reasonable. They have a do-it-yourself dog grooming station in the back; for $10 you can wash your dog with access to four different shampoos, ear wipes, eye wipes, mouth wipes, towels, and hairdryers. The best part is not having to clean up fur out of your home tub!

I went online to find a groomer in my area (Goodlettsville) and several came up. I did all my research and decided on 1 in particular. I wanted to get my puppy Chino groomed for the very 1st time so I scheduled my pups appt and all was well. On the day of his appt the groomer texted me to cancel with no explanation so I was a bit upset. I got back online and searched again and Spot's popped up. I had seen it before but I didn't bother checking there because it was a lil further away and I assumed it would be too expensive. I decided to call and ask for their prices. I called and spoke to Richard and he was very polite and professional. It was a Sunday and I wanted to get my Chino in right away. Richard took my name and # and had the groomer Christina give me a call back to see if she could squeeze me in. Christina was very personable and knowledgeable not only did she fit me in but the cost was less than the original groomer had quoted me. Chino is a pit mix and has not been socialized at all but Christina and Richard were very patient in getting him to open right up to them. I wanted to get him a hair cut and a bath but Christina encouraged me to hold off on the hair cut for now, she didn't want to overwhelm him with so much all at once. That decision alone lets me know that not only does she care about my Chino's hygiene but she also cares about his well being.... I'm sold! The Dog Spot has always been incredible! I have one senior anti-social dog, one senior dog who loves everyone and a youngish, shy rescue dog. They have taken the time to get to know my herd and help make sure they (and I) are always comfortable. I just dropped the off the other day for boarding...I thought they opened earlier (I read the hours wrong). I was about to panic because I didn't think I would be able to make my flight. They let me drop off before they were open like it was no big deal. My dogs love it there and I think they are the best!

I've had great experiences with both boarding and grooming at the East Nashville location. The staff is very friendly and great with our dog. I like how he's able to play and socialize with other dogs throughout the day, and that they have webcams to check-in when I'm out of town (although they are sometimes a little spotty). I've only had him groomed there on a couple of occasions. My dog is pretty low maintenance in that department, and the groomers have done a good job each time. All in all, I always feel comfortable leaving my pup there and would recommend it to any friends looking for boarding.

The Dog Spot is awesome! We live in Huntsville and have used The Dog Spot when we have visited Nashville or when we are traveling north. They always seem to be able to accommodate us and our Beagle, Frank! The best part is they include day care in the boarding price. Most places charge extra. It is great to know that our dog is out playing all day and not cooped up in a kennel.

I continue to have positive experinces with daycare and grooming. They offer access to their camera feed through a link on their Facebook page. This leaves no doubt for what kind of experience your dog is having. I would recommend anyone with any size dog and temperament to give them a try. On the grooming side of things, Devon is amazing at what he does and even better with the animals. If you are looking for a groomer give them a call and ask for him. You may have to wait a week or two but its worth it.

I boarded my dog Walter at The Dog Spot in East Nashville! I couldn't be more pleased with the services provided. I was able to check in and watch Walter play with all of the friends he made in their webcams. I called in a couple times to check on him(because I couldn't help myself) and the staff was always so friendly and happy to let me know how Walter was doing. The dog spot is awesome! My 12 year old miniature schnauzer is incredibly anti-social, but after a few days at the dog spot, he found he could peacefully co-exist with other animals (still doesn't know the meaning of "play" but maybe that's next!). Chad and his staff are super friendly and helpful. I wish they'd franchise this place so my friends and family in other towns could learn how boarding, grooming, and daycare ought to be done! The Dog Spot is fantastic - I won't board my puppy Elvis anywhere else! Chad and his staff genuinely care about the well-being of the dogs and show flexibility and compassion with their owners. I have boarded my energetic great dane/lab mix puppy several times in the past 8 months and have not been disappointed. The webcams are great, too - I love being able to check in on my dog from out of town. East Nashville - and Nashville in general - is lucky to have The Dog Spot.

We take our 9lb Havanese and 70lb Labradoodle here once a week for daycare and once a month for boarding when we travel. Our dogs are well taken care of and loved and respected here. The staff love Rocco and Rolly like their own pets and they are always excited to run in the door. That is the proof in the pudding.
