They had a lot of neat things for mostly great prices. But omg, the line for checkout was CRAZY. I was in line for like 30 min, and only moved like 1/3 of the way up the queue line. I ended up leaving my stuff, because it was almost time to go get my daughter from the bus. It would be a neat place to shop if you have time, though.

Fun store. lots of stuff. Long wait though. And unfortunately even though half of what I bought was advertised as 50% off, it was full price. You can't see the amounts as they ring it up so there's no way to know until it's too late.

From shoes and shirts to rugs and furniture to cereal and candy. You will find great discounts on almost everything. There are still some items that are still spendy. There’s even deals on their current prices every once in a while. For example rugs. The store can be messy and busy and slow lines at times but can’t complain with the prices. Plus with the demographic, some customers aren’t careful.

Just drove by on Central and saw a line of people about 200 feet long. I hoped to God they weren't waiting for some vaccine or something. I drove up to the front door to get a better look and was relieved to see it was just a store. With a line that long, they must have some pretty good deals.

Discount 70 is a wholesale Pallet reseller. The have an eclectic selection of goods from Tj Maxx and Target. Mostly Target. Linens, like bedding, sheets, mattress covers, curtains, bath towels, wash clothes, toys, art supplies, makeup, socks, purses, wallets, photo frames, trinkets, coloring books, cell phone chargers and cases, coffee cups, to go mugs, food, spices, shoes and clothes for the whole family at deeply discounted prices. The selection changes often. They almost always have a selection of seasonal holiday decor for Easter, Halloween, Saint Patrick’s day and the like at the front of the store. The left side of the store sells larger home furnishings like chairs, tables, rugs, outdoor pillows, lamps, garbage cans, from department store returns, furniture needing repair is repaired on-site and resold for reasonable prices. The stock and selection changes often. Its typically one of a kind furniture. Shop the store on a regular basis as you never know what kind of bargains you may find. The staff is mostly friendly with the exception of one woman who is beyond burned out from working retail. If you don’t mind that- check this place out- it’s fun treasure hunt shopping experience for random wardrobe and household finds at prices 70% lower than retail. New hours: M-Sat 12pm-6:30pm Sunday 12 pm -4:30 pm

Overall great deals. It would be nice if there were purchasing limits implemented on items. Based on several shopping experiences there would be one specific individual that would block others from obtaining an item and swipe them all up. One of the times the item was a metal water bottle from TJ Maxx and the individual put their cart in front to prevent other people from grabbing the item.

This is my absolutely favorite store in the cities. I live over two hours away but if I am in the area, it is a must! Usually always find a good deal. Clothing, food, toys, rugs, furniture, they have it all! Do have to check the items are not broken and pieces are all there. Not necessarily the store’s fault as I believe other customers are pretty tough on their products. Will absolutely be going here again!

Was super excited to find a place that was comparable to the one I used to go to back home. Now being the person I am, it's best for me to go for the last half hour to avoid draining the bank, when it's clearly a place that helps to avoid that for most.. upon arriving at 6:20, and getting to the door at 6:25, I was faced with a sign that informs it's customers of it's 30 minute to close, refusal of entry policy. Now, that normally is not an issue so long as it was dually noted when I was browsing the website, search engines, ect. To which it wasn't. That being said, I made a 405 minute commute, just to be let down. Communication is key...

Value-oriented furniture shoppers should always check this place. The furniture department guys are very nice and helpful - it's a real bonus.

Great place to shop thanks to the fabu staff and vast array of bargains. They put in some great safety protocols, but 4 instead of 5 stars as no one seems to make sure guests ( and a very few staff) are properly masked and distanced ( an announcement or 800 would be nice).Many folks don’t feel relaxed there anymore because of that so not as much fun to shop. After pandemic they will get 25% of my paycheck for great stuff.

Don't let the location or inside setup fool you. This place has really good deals on furniture. My dad recently went into an assisted living facility and we found a leather (yes, real leather!) 2 seat reclining loveseat for $429!!!! It is unbelievably comfortable and sturdy! I am always suggesting this place to family and friends. The inventory changes daily and they usually always have some type of special deal even with the low prices.

Always have some great items for cheap prices. You never know what you will find here. If you like shopping at Goodwill, you will like this place. The manager and staff have excellent customer service. Not everything is the neatest or in place with people going through it, disorganzing items.

I haven't been to discount 70 for over a year and I suspect after black friday and the weekend the place was pretty picked over, but I still managed to find some Christmas decor and a couple of gifts for my family. They had a good selection of shoes and boots, and clothing but not enough check outs open. People were standing in a line 10 people deep at 6 ft markers. My suggestion is to go early Monday is senior discount day and Tuesday is active member of the military day.

We always find interesting items and deals here. Staff seems friendly enough. I recall about 18-years ago, while we were at the register, this girl came in the store and asked the lady behind the counter if they had a drinking fountain. She said "no" but handed her a half-finished bottle of diet Coke instead, and to my amazement, she drank from it! One of those rare memories I'll always cherish...in my mind was screaming "don't do it" as I stood there in shock and disbelief. Can't fault the lady for being kind to a stranger.

This is a closeout style store, so their merchandise changes all the time. I like that, because it means I might find something really cool at any time I visit. They always have a neat selection of food, clothing, shoes, furniture, and home decor. They even have books sometimes. If you're looking for cool, affordable holiday decorations, this is a great place to go! Only down side is that the lines and wait at checkout can be quite long.

The general section is great and they have great Xmas deals going on. Love this store!! Sometimes it's not as much of a discount as you'd think but usually they have good deals. To make the most of the discounts and the best stuff, you should go there regularly. There merchandise changes often and it varies from day to day. You never know what kind of shipment the store got that day, some days they have great selections of jeans (I've gotten Hudson and Bitten by David Buffalo there), sometimes it's the bags, sometimes it's shoes, other times not so much. It all de ends on frequency.

Relatively slow turnover compared to other thrift stores. Good place to check in on every month or two. Great sales, often 50-75% off their prices. But know what you are buying, sometimes items are cheaper in retail stores.

My second time shopping here. The first was the period between Christmas & New Years when most everything was half off. That special time should be worth the trip each and every year in the future. This time around I again came later in the day on a Saturday and I think your overall selection might be better earlier in the day. I purchased some Chicken Stove Top Stuffing Mix that was marked all the way down to 10¢ a box that didn't ring up right along with 2 items of Valentine's Day candy that should (you'd think?) be marked down with all the other Valentine stuff, but I was charged the normal price. Anyhow it still was worth my time to visit and I shall return only a little earlier in the day...

Discount store for clearanced items, usually from target. You'll need time to browse. It gets crowded and the line can get LONG. The staff aren't very welcoming, they do not let any new customers in the store 30 minutes before closing and there's no public bathroom on the entire strip mall (I had to go to the library a block away). I've bought furniture items, clothing and beauty supplies which worked well! I'm a fan but it's definitely not a store for everyone.
