I like this location much more than others closer to my house. The selection is better. I went to buy groceries and on my way to register I stopped by clothing and found some garments discounted which I didn't want to pass on. I found two 3XL dresses ($5.00 each at register) which translates to two unique summer skirts ( I'm either small on women's and medium or large in juniors). A yellow mustard color dress (also $5.00) whith a smart feature (the top portion of the dress, expands!!👏). And last, I allowed myself to venture into a crop top and skirt set...very sexy😜

I've been in many Wal-Marts and this one in particular was huge with a nice large varation in products. Nice and clean with friendly employees.

Seemed like a good location. Was mostly well stocked for what we needed. Staff and other patrons were friendly. Unusual that it was right across from Target and CVS but great proximity if you need to go to multiple places to complete your shopping list. No need to run all around town, just one general area. Cashier was not particularly friendly and seemed annoyed to be there, so that's the one star off. But overall good experience.

Generally stocked. Most employees are helpful when I need something that's locked behind a case. Last I went an employee was helping another customer who I thought was another employee. The employee immediately called for another employee to unlock a wallet for me. I got the wallet in a timely manner and didn't have to wait.

They have some products I want or need at fair prices. The only drawback is it takes longer to get checked out than to shop. Not ever enough staff at registers. I love Walmart!! Clean store very well stocked on everything but on the grocery side, but what grocery store is at this point in time? The only thing I would say was not a good experience is when I tried to use my healthy benefits card from my health insurance, it says when I scan the product with my phone it's eligible to purchase but when I get to the scanners up front to actually use my card ,it's not eligible. Was embarrassing to say the least. And this has happened on more than one occasion. So just be wary when you go to use the healthy benefits card.

There's never enough registers open. Customer service has, on a good day, 2 of the slowest customer service reps around, which makes the wait roughly 25-40 minutes. If you purchase something, you'll spend a MINIMUM of 10 minutes in line to checkout, you drive home, try out/on your new pick ups.... and I PRAY everything fits & so I don't gotta go wait in 2 lines thatll cost me every bit of 2 hours.... it SUCKS.

Thanks Mrs. Sherri in customer service at 2020 Bardstown Rd. for being patient and helping me. Although the issue wasn’t resolved I do appreciate how you dealt with me as a customer. In general I purchased a 58” Hisense tv in 2020 along with Allstate protection plan for 3years. I wish the sales associate would’ve communicated better about the plan and what if’s. I’m thinking as soon as I purchase plan with my tv purchase that was it thinking it automatically enrolls me in Allstate system but it wasn’t. I need my receipt and they have something on their website that says it could save your receipt just incase. I’m not pointing finger at nobody but just wish sales associates was more vocal about this protection plan besides just offering plan and saying how many years do you wanna protect your item. I would’ve done what I needed to do long ago to protect my protection plan..that funny I gotta protect my protection for plan like wow there has got to be a better way for customers to be aware of details surrounding the protection plan.

In general I am not a huge fan of shopping at Walmart, but this one is clean and the employees are helpful and friendly. I saw the store manager personally help an older man whose cart had died as he was traveling the store. Good store.

I found a lot of great deals today thanks to the gracious help of my shopping assistant and Walmart associate Ellen 😊👍🏼Well she’s not exactly “mine” but...I would always see this lady working steadily back in the toy department. With 3 kids I am I frequent flyer in your toy department. I’ve been shopping at this location for many years. What I appreciate mostly about Ellen is she’s always respectful, even when she is very busy, she speaks. Also, she is so helpful. She doesn’t have s problem unlocking a case, so I could buy nail clippers. Heck! She even price checks for me, helping me save from one item so I can buy additional items. She helps outside of her “area” as well. Today she walked with me to show me where I might find Command hooks for basement walls! Then she sold me a doggone Brinks security camera! Like I said, save a little here, spend more there! That’s great and so is she! The cashier situation is showing continued improvement. Let us hope no one quits before Black Friday! Yes, candy was also on sale!

This is one of the larger Walmart supercenters in Kentucky, they have a wide selection of goods. They also have a could of fadt-food reztraunts inside along with, a eye-doctor on certain days of the week. I will say that this eye doctor, is an excellent eye doctor, and he is willing to go out of his way to help his patients, his professionalism and support is what makes my trip to walmart a 5-star trip every time.

I was surprised that they would locked up ordinary cosmetics and perfumes. Maybe lots of thievery going on in the cosmetics dept. That's really bad! So sad! It's not even that expensive perfumes or cosmetics! Ridiculous!

Workers are very nice, but the lines are a extremely long most of the time, with only a couple registers open. I understand having staffing issues but from what I can tell every time I’ve applied they never respond. Some aisles are typically a wreck, with half-eaten bags of candy strewn about. They’re extremely concerned about stealing, but will take 15 minutes to come unlock products that are locked up.

Too busy, and clumsy. It doesn't feel safe after a certain time in the evening. I have visited recently, and it seems that they have shifted some of the items from one place to another. Update: now their sections are much better labeled. Though everything has an increased cost. Ginger and cilantro aren't available for the past 3 weeks now. No reason why!

Under staffed, never enough registers open at regular check out, money center and customer service. Shelf's are always under stocked and out of numerous things. The store needs more people to pick up and straighten up after customers even tho i work retail n know thats a losing battle bc people are down right nasty n disrespectful but still could use more staff to help in this area. Most of the issues are due to under staffing so thats not all their fault bc people are lazy af today.

the store is neat & clean & usually pretty well stocked.. the store associates walking the floor are usually HAPPY to HELP the customers. my only real complaint would have to be- the occasional closing of the you-scan area; & NOT having enough lanes open! & thus- the line(s) become SO ridiculous- stretching out & winding thru the sales floor..

Ya know I have given Walmart a lot of flack over the years for lack of customer service. However, I buy several items from there and have to exchange and/or return often and I have to say only about 10-15% of customers doing returns have their receipts and then pitch fits when there's an issue. This one I give to Walmart. You should keep a supersoaker under the counter give them a good spray.

I got in the self checkout because I was hurting too bad to walk to a cashier. The young woman who was supervising the machines signaled for me to take a vacated machine. As soon as she caught sight of me limping she took the wand and scanned my groceries. She even bagged them for me. I was so touched by her kindness. She could have let me struggle through that checkout but she jumped right in to help me. That's what great customer service looks like. I didn't get her name but I'm truly grateful for her kindness.

Walmart superstore everyone's favorite place to shop. Why Mom has the best Christmas gifts for your family. Stocking stuffers Christmas trees lights decorations tree stands. They also have fresh fruits meats vegetables baby Pampers. Do you have baby formula they have all the new baby food that's out. Walmart also have a great line of winter coats. A lot of socks under clothes a lot of stuff that you can use for stocking stuffers.

This Walmart, most would say, is rough around the edges and it shows. It deserves four stars because of the radical mix of clientele in addition to the challenges of its extreme traffic. This place is F • U • L • L from opening to closing. Somehow, it is fully stocked and my visits are seamless.

It took 35 minutes to get some one to help me get a bag of soil in my cart. I was told by the cashier that she could get some one to help but it would be 45 minutes to and hour if I wanted to wait. I had to walk around the store to find some one to help me. I am 63 and can only lift 10 lbs. This was very bad customer service.

It was fine. Not bad experience but nothing special stands out about my visit. So actually I could even bump it up a half star because at one time, maybe 4 yrs ago I would say, this store would have been a horrible experience from parking, to getting a rickety raggedy cart, to not being able to locate products I was shopping for to rude workers at the checkout. It's definately an improvement from that.

The Grand Haven Walmart is great. This store plays music outside as you enter the building! I wish the Walmarts in my hometown of Orlando would play music when approaching the building. It is so pleasant. The pharmacy staff is very accommodating about transferring prescriptions when necessary. This store is one of the best.

Food was delicious. Iordered the 2 for $25; 1 appetizer, 2 meals and 1 dessert. Dine in seating was packed so I got curbside pickup and food was still hot when picked up. Only issue was I ordered my steak medium rare and it was more on the rare side than I prefer which made it very chewy. Still had good flavor but I wasn't a big fan on the chewiness.I'm sure they would of fixed it had I asked but I was in a crunch for time.

One of the better Walmart Stores in Louisville. It is often better stocked and has a more varied and larger inventory than many other stores. You can often find great deals on electronics in the clearance section. My only negative points are that if you visit after 9pm or so it can be hard to find someone working outside of the grocery section and getting any items locked up in some way may require a long wait on a manager or not even be possible. Also, they shut down the self checkout section after 10pm and only ever have a couple other lanes open. I've seen this lead to very long lines (backed up into the clothing sections across from registers and beyond) that take forever to get through. Can be a bit frustrating if you're only buying a couple things, have frozen items, etc.

I signed up for pick up on my purchase. I did what they said to do in the email, and they said someone was working on the order. I sat in the pick up lot for 15 minutes with my engine running, And I finally got a notification on the app that they were not going to bring it to my car and that I could come and pick it up anytime in the store. I finally went into the store to pick it up, and there was only one person handling pick ups and I was told they did not take the item I purchased out to the car. He did, however, give me the item I purchased and I left a little frustrated. I realize with only one person manning the pick ups that it would be hard to take orders to cars and handle the in-store pick ups.

The Man With No Name (The Good)

Crowded, always. Difficult to navigate at check out area. Also, long lines at checkout. Sometimes, it's similar to a third world country. Hardly ever is there a "quick get it, dash out gone" experience. I suggest order for in store or curbside pick up. Curbside has numbered parking spots designation upon arrival. In store P/U is next to customer service, usually quick. Check your order before you leave, at/eyesight of the pick up area, for accuracy/condition. UPDATE: visited on Thursday March 7th, 2022. Several registers for check out were available. Several individuals were in each and every single one of them. Wait time was unacceptable however, more cash registers were open, and still the wait was too long. What the issue is with this problem of waiting no matter how many registers are open only speculation is the available resource. I will not take a guess, that would be unfair to those associates doing their job. They are working, they showed up. At least one can go to Walmart after 10 p.m. and grab some feline food, so this man won't be stalked and made a meal of by his ravenous furry unfed friends while sleeping. 🤣🤣 It was "late-er" and stockers we're present, store wasn't in disarray or unclean. It was actually in a more acceptable condition than usual. So, 4 stars for the Bashford Manor Walmart.

This location isn't really as great as the one located just off of Gene Snyder East, however, this location is second best, in my opinion, to it's neighbor, which is further down Bardstown Road. This particular location is situated directly next to some other very busy, home-goods stores, also a very populated, residential area as it's seated directly across from a neighborhood consisting of single family homes as well as several, apartment complexes, that have been there since I was a child. That means well over 30 years.

Great store. If they are out of apparel or some things, you can purchase it online. They sell Famous Daves BBQ sauce and corn muffin mix. Taste just like the restaurant meal when you add a sweet slaw and veggie pork n beans

Yes, in this past wk. I've been to 2 different Wal-Mart's! Just happened to be in the area both ×'s & a odd & end was wanted. Wal-Mart seems to usually fulfill! I like many of their selections! Just wish in clothing they had more kinds of "Big & Tall" /* now as for the 1 on Dixie hwy needs more ✔ out cashier's. To scan myself out is ok if I've got a few items but, if I've got a cart full I MUCH rather use a ✔ out Ln. & there's usually only 1 or 2 so a long wait can be./ & when it gets busy slow down on restocking because it blocks us up & difficult to get around & shop. As for the Wal-Mart on Bashford Manor. ✔ out was good! But, the entire store's temperature was to warm! I don't know what that was about? Hopefully just a temporary issue./ * as for Wal-Mart on the overall: it's my #1 spot to go! Especially if I'm wanting 2 or more different kinds of thing's!

Bought everything I needed in one visit. Seemed slightly understaffed and wasn't able to obtain some cologne. The headphones I wanted were out of stock but found a comparable back up. I usually go early, this time I was there after 12noon. Let's just say peace is priceless. There was a yelling match over a cart at the front entrance grocery side. I will go early everytime I go. I have heard a fight at the front registers one evening when I was shopping! So my window for shopping is opening til 11am. Not the store's responsibility but they might want to consider police officers at the front of this store. Ppl r going nuts over silly stuff and I refuse to keep shopping in the middle of chaos. It's typically very clean and well stocked, and if I get out there earlier in the day I don't have to wait too long in line. Large Walmart. Well stocked. Beware of the soda machine outside if the grocery store entrance. It does not take $ bills, even though it has a reader. The coin acceptor kicks back MOST quarters, dimes and nickels. Worth spending 15 minutes feeding it all of the change in your car, just to to get a 12oz can of Hawaiian Punch. Little Factoid; Hawaiian Punch is the lowest calorie option in that machine. A healthier option than Sunkist, Grape whatever, and Ginger Ale. UPDATE::. THEY FIXED THE HAWAIIAN PUNCH MACHINE!!!! Bunch of new creepy uniform security guards though.

The 'count tracking clerk' - the one keeping track of how many customers come in - needs to really listen to the customer's question. To save time & myself knee pain, I asked him where totebags were located in the store. He ONLY kept pointing to the electric cart that I could see. So very unhelpful. I wasted my time asking him anything! As I was walking past the self checkout, I saw the associate running the self checkout & took a chance to ask him where totebags were. This man - and I unfortunately did not get his name🙁 - was MUCH more helpful and way more friendly. He shared Walmart no longer carries totebags beyond the Walmart recyclable bags used for packing groceries in. Not quite what I needed. We talked a bit more until we finally got on the same page of what I was looking for (a zippered totebag which could be used as an overnight trip bag) but not a piece of luggage. He shared I would find what I was looking for in the luggage area ... he was right!! Success!! While I was waiting to checkout, I noticed I couldn't find the UPC & told this same young man I had a bit of trouble & needed his help again, explaining I couldn't find the UPC. He knew exactly where it was (inside the bag) & not only showed me the tag but rang me up as well. This young man was the complete opposite of the unhelpful 'count tracking clerk'. This young man running the self checkout was friendly, helpful in me locating what I needed, focused on me, quickly checked me out, all while still watching the self checkouts for issues! AWESOME customer service from him!! I just wish I had checked his name tag & got his name to better compliment him! I do wish to make a recommendation. The Walmart website for this store's location (Bashford Manor Lane, Louisville, Ky) shows they close at 11pm. However, they had already closed & locked the "Lifestyle" doors before I got there at 8:35pm. If they close at 11pm, I feel both the grocery doors AND the Lifestyle doors should remain unlocked till closer to 11pm. If this Walmart location closes Earlier than 11pm, then the website needs to be updated to reflect the cotlrrect closing time.

This is of course Walmart. You expect certain things before walking in the door. Great appealing prices, variety, great savings etc. Store cleanliness also comes to mind as well customer friendliness and cooperation. The store overall is a 4 of 5 stars because the store failed to satisfy my ,5 stars overall rating because there are things that the store needs to work on that is bringing down there overall rating. Not enough working electric wheel chair carts. One I found upon parking was missing the entire electrical system. No start button no switch. I'm basing this review from several years previous visits up to the date this was given. This is the most difficult Walmart that I've been to in the Louisville area. In spite of low labor force at this time in our history, it is one of the lowest shall we say worker forces, meaning people are lazy and do not want to work. Despite this taking into Factor of this commentary and review, it has still consistently been one of the worst Walmarts to walk into not because of how dirty but because you cannot get any help from the employees that often. Not knocking the ones that do what they can, not saying anything about language barriers, it's just downright all non-american of Americans do not get off the couch. Yes this perhaps might be classified as a rant, and whoever is reading this at least you're getting up off the couch to go to walmart. All in all it is a two-star out of a four-star Louisville Walmart area. Mainly because things are not in their proper spaces blocks etc it is wrong things in the wrong spot.

As far as a Walmart goes, this one is pretty okay. At the very least the staff tries their best, even if it's not what customers who haven't worked in retail expect out of them. My only real complaint is since it's in a busy part of town it easily gets run down and going there is a bit of a gamble as far as "in stock" is concerned.

I needed Hair color. I parked in the back by automotive. Walk straight in where the hair color normally is, picked up one I needed. I did noticed they're trying to revamp the make up area it looks like it will be better lit still in disarray,not sure how well it will be kept. From there I headed to front the store walked right up to a Clerk she scanned my item I paid for it. Then I left.

Bathrooms are always very dirty, especially in photo area, watched an employee go in and leave and act like nothing was wrong. I spent a long time due to faulty equipment to print pictures from our phones. Told it would be 30 minute wait, checked out, left the store went to another, came back well after time limit, was told it wasn't ready yet because of different sizes we ordered, the paper had to be changed for particular sizes and there's no one in the back to do that. On a busy Saturday? My biggest problem with this store, and it is my local store, is 2 things, the employees act like customer service is a problem for them, act annoyed I'd you need help, and I believe in diversity as I come from a multi cultural family, but not many employees can understand or speak English when you ask for help.

A lot of these reviews speak of how negative and unhelpful the employees are. However, customers need to understand these people work for a paycheck that is BELOW poverty level. They never have enough help so they are overworked. My attitude would most likely be less than positive if I worked here. The turnover rate of this store is so high that it’s difficult to keep employees well-trained and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the wheelchair situation. For a store that size, they only have about 4 wheelchairs. Therefore, the people who really need them either have to wait for one or come back later and try again. It’s shameful.

Came there and everything was out of order, I was shopping for a TV deck for my car, the electronic part in the back of the door where it’s all locked up was a mess, the manager I spoke to was so understanding and took great care of me. He walked to the front with me and my wife and gave us a discount because the TV deck was in the wrong spot. And said if anything was wrong with it just keep the receipt and I would be able to return it with no problem.! So started off bad but ended up good, I didn’t get the managers name which is unfortunate.. he deserves a raise!

This is my neighborhood Walmart and I love their ship to store feature. However, this place is really crowded at certain hours and some of the clientele are sketchy. Very friendly people that know what they're doing in the Auto Center, when I almost got in a wreck and had to swerve into the median and popped a tire, the store happened to be right there.
