For our anniversary my honey bought me drums!Ive been wanting to learn so we made the trip to Sweetwater to be able to ask someone who know about drums all the questions we could possibly think of since we weren’t sure where to start or what all we needed! I did some research on line and knew I was looking for a 5 piece set but wasn’t sure what the best set would be for a beginner, and a reasonable price. If you’re a musician of any kind or want to be, I recommend checking out sweetwater if you haven’t been or haven’t heard of it. They have a huge selection and everything is broke down in areas. Even guitars are separated by acoustic and electric, they also have a used equipment area where you could find a deal! I have never seen so many options anywhere for pedals and pianos, or even drums. It took a minute for us to find someone who wasn’t already busy with a customer but when we got help, they were very informative and helped with the knowledge and experience he had of drums. After the sale we got a huge bag of candy and had to pull around to the warehouse to pick them up, where we got more candy! The building and grounds were quite impressive and everything was clean and organized. They have a cafeteria and everything in there. Very happy with our visit there, definitely looking forward to making another stop!

Very large store with a wide range of musical instruments and stage setups available. Fully staffed with very knowledgeable people who help answer any questions you have. In addition to a nice cafe attached to it to grab a flavorful bite to eat.

Currently a music production student and had very gear specific questions before making an investment into higher quality gear for my home studio. Although some did not know the answer, they didn't sugar coat anything and quickly turned me to an associate that has prior experience In the music production world to help with my needs. I am so thankful that these sales engineers are knowledgeable on music equipment both as an individual or through their network of associates, as it helped make the best educated decision on my next purchase. You won't find better service anywhere. There are availability is usually pretty great as well. One thing that makes this company is very different from other dealers is that you can do the actual guitars, and I assume other instruments, and select the exact one that. That means no more playing the lottery when you buy an instrument to see what's going to look like. You know exactly what it's going to look like before you even buy it.

Absolutely gorgeous facility expands in all directions to your heart’s delight. The staff are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about music and equipment as most of them are musicians. I appreciate old school customer service with a smile and this place delivers in spades. I jokingly refer to Sweetwater as a “musician’s playground” but there’s a lot of truth to it. I could spend all day there. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you’re in the area.

Do you or your kid need a musical instrument or lessons? Does your band need a studio to record in? Would you like to slide down a two story, adult size sliding board? You can do all of these things as well as get lunch at their outstanding cafeteria. This place is the most full service music store that I have ever been to. My son and I are here frequently as he is a musician. We have purchased an electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic/electric guitar, acoustic guitar and an electric drum set there. Every one of those experiences has been excellent! Their staff is technically knowledgeable, professional and friendly! Outstanding service and products!

Definitely a mandatory stop for the music lover. The building is huge with a variety of music sections and the opportunity to try out the instruments and guitar pedals. There is a cafe, coffee shop, spa, slide and a small, free arcade for families. Lots of places to sit and relax if you are not the one trying out instruments. The prices at the Cafe were reasonable. The staff is friendly, welcoming and informative.

Sweetwater was phenomenal! My boyfriend is a musician and had been wanting to come here for years. We were in the market for a new guitar and it only made sense to visit Sweetwater since they have tens of thousands of guitars with several models to try so you can pick the perfect one for you. The sales reps were all extremely helpful. Braeden was amazing and went far above & beyond for us, even stopped to jam with us for a few minutes. It was a 3 hour drive for us and worth every minute of it. Plan on spending the entire day here because there is so much to do. It's like a mall for musicians and had just about everything you could ever dream of. The building is enormous, there is a huge cafeteria, a two story slide, demo rooms, rooms for every type of instrument & a used section. I'm not a musician & still had fun. I had a blast going in the drum room and playing the test drums with headphones so no one could hear how terrible I was!

Literally.....jaw......dropping. I've been to hundreds of music stores in my day, mom and pops to the big chains. I have driven my truck past Sweetwater a thousand times and FINALLY had some time to stop. Plenty of parking, semi trucks included. I was greeted by Sophie at the front desk. She gave me a quick history of Sweetwater, told me where all the different departments were, including the cafeteria, which is larger than most college cafeterias. Need a coffee? We got it. Massage? C'mon up. Haircut? You're covered. Having been in retail management and ownership my whole life before trucking, this store is surgically clean, from the parking lot to the bathrooms. Speaking of, bathrooms? Yeah, most 5 star hotels don't have bathrooms this nice and clean. Everyone I spoke with, especially the keyboard guys, were beyond friendly, helpful, ridiculously knowledgeable, and they talked on my level, not down to me or way over my head. I can't wait to go back when I can spend an entire day there, and yes, you could do it, easily. ANYTHING that makes music, you'll find it here.

The most wonderful store in the world! I could never thank Sweetwater enough! We visited the store today for the first time. My 14 year old son started playing the guitar only two months ago and I had only seen commericals about Sweetwater, and it turns out we only live 15 minutes from the store!!!! I had no idea what we were in for when we got there. It's NOT just a store. It's an ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!!! The employees are the nicest people you'll ever meet in any store the rest of your life. We can't wait to go back to have lunch and start buying Sweetwater merch, he already wants their hoodies, beanies, everything he can get his hands on. I fall asleep listening to my son play the guitar in his room late at night and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. I was amazed when I called Sweetwater and actually got to speak to a live person without going through any sort of automated process. That was so refreshing. When I spoke with the service person (Cameron), I shared what I was looking for. He personally handled and coordinated every step until I received the guitar and equipment I ordered. He even provided his cell phone so that I could text or call any time. It was truly such a pleasant experience. I'll be purchasing guitars and gear from Sweetwater in the future.

Wow! This is an amazing experience. We spent 3 hours there for our first visit. I can not possibly list all the things you can do here. Experience music and equipment at its finest for free. The cafeteria dining area is well maintained. The slide is a fun touch. The staff are impeccable. Prices vary from affordable to extravagant. A fully immersive and enriching environment. We'll be visiting again for sure.

EPIC! Stopped in on a Sunday and it was still fully staffed. Staff are EXTEMELY friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have different rooms for different types of instruments, all with an unpeckable selection in each section. In the center "hall" they have pedals on pedals on pedals, OOF! Anything and everything as far as I could tell was there to try. They have "demo" rooms that you can personally try out gear in. The drum room had a drum kit that was surrounded with audio foam and plexiglass to try. They have a Live and lights section, as well as software and engineering section. In the facility there is also a cafeteria i assume is for the employees but I could imagine during normal hours they'd allow customers to eat there as well. Off to the side there is also a game room with arcades, billiards, and ping pong which I thought was cool. Musicians Dream! Would go again!

I have had some issues with faulty products on an occasion or two, but Sweetwater has always been quick to take care of any problems and to make sure I get what I need. I want to thank Sweetwater for having Robb on the team and I will encourage anyone reading this to ask for his assistance, though I know from experience the other Sales Engineers are just as awesome too. Sweetwater is AMAZING. Best musical instrument and music equipment store I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Their website is very easy to navigate, and makes finding products a cinch. Their customer service is beyond incredible. Super friendly and super responsive. They have an enormous selection of products from beginner to pro-level, and yet they maintain a down-to-earth family-run business culture and attitude. Buying from Sweetwater feels like supporting the good guys. In addition to the professional instrument I own from them, I also just bought the best headphones I've ever been able to find. On this last note, I had previously spent years doing research on the best headphones for my needs and after repeatedly falling down rabbit holes of conflicting reviews and options, I found what I needed with a quick search on Sweetwater's site. Their staff-vetted reviews and write-ups are incredibly helpful. I can't recommend Sweetwater more highly!

After my purchase, I actually got a phone call from the store personally, to ask about my experience and to thank me for my order. I was really thrown off but in a good way. No one does stuff like that anymore and I just thought that it was so thoughtful for a company to take the time to personally call me. When I received the package (some small items for my son) it also included a few little packs of candy which was a top notch touch and will make my 13 year old really happy. He loves candy. Awesome experience! Sweetwater seems to have not only a huge variety of instruments and sound equipment but it also carries a wide variety of suppliers at various price ranges. But there us a very good cafeteria, cafe, and even free ping pong, billiards, and video games. Plus there is a 2 story slide! Our grandsons had a blast exploring the instruments and games!

Five stars doesn't do Sweetwater justice: it shines far more brightly than that. I've been ordering from Sweetwater for years and have always had a positive experience with them. In particular, working with Kent S. has always been a pleasure: he has helped my (non-musician) wife select gifts for me; follows up with me about many purchases; called me to let me know that they didn't have the product I ordered in stock, and checked to see if I wouldn't mind if they sent a slightly upgraded version (for cables, not for guitars, etc.); helped my father find a few specific guitars that he was looking for; and Kent was kind enough to not only meet with my father and me when we visited the store, he also volunteered to take us on a tour. Speaking about the store, it is unlike any store I've ever been into. The footprint is massive, there is a huge selection, *everyone* we interacted with was super friendly (but without seeming fake or overbearing), the pedal area is great, there is a cafeteria, and even a curly slide for the kids. Everyone I spoke to really loved working there, and that says a lot about the culture of the company.

Sweetwater for the win every time! Seriously, I can't say enough good things about my experiences with them over the last 20 years. Their sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are excellent. The free and super fast shipping is fantastic and if you are having issues, their engineers are top notch. Why would you buy anywhere else? While I have never personally visited Sweetwater (may make the trip one day, when I'm "casino brave" and have cash to burn), this is simply the best company to do business with when you're in the market for musical instruments, supplies, amplification, or other gear. These folks really do go the extra mile, particularly the sales engineering team (looking at you Erik Bothwell 👍) and the warehouse team, who do the signature 55 point inspection on all outgoing goods provide fantastic, boutique level service. Quality musical instruments aren't cheap, and yet I've never once had any stress, issues, or uncertainties when buying from Sweetwater. Makes me wish other companies would follow suit, frankly, because it's not like shopping anywhere else. Keep up the great work!

This was a great buying experience. I bought my Son an Alvarez electric acoustic. A new line they are carrying, but know of the Alvarez brand. I bought it online and the day after I bought it, I had a call from, John, one of their technicians. Thanking me for my purchase and had a genuine conversation with me. Then John sent me his personal cell phone and told me to call with any questions. This is impressive and seldom do you get this kind of service. If you are unsure about buying stuff from Sweetwater, well, I was unsure too the first time. It was too good to be true, lower prices than GC, two year guaranty, excellent customer service, fastest shipping, a little souvenir every time you buy, they are just amazing. We loved how hands-on everything here was. The only downside is that if you compare any one instrument represented in person here to a store just for that, you would see less here in person than there. So, for violins you still would do better at your local violin shop, for example. The room full of acoustic guitars in particular felt anticlimactic to me. Such a huge store should have lots to try, right? Though I'm pretty sure you could ask them to get any instrument out of their inventory for you to try, just walking around the room you're not going to find a little of everything. I didn't see a parlor guitar, or a true jumbo guitar, and I couldn't find two guitars that were exactly the same except for the tonewood (I was hoping to directly compare rosewood and mahogany). Also, judging by the couple of questions I asked the worker, it seemed like he wasn't as knowledgeable as one might hope to find the workers there. Aside from my little gripes, everything was great overall. We could have easily spent way more time there, but two hours was okay for a decent quick trip. It was really out of the way for us to go here, but we're glad we did!

Definitely one of the focal points of Fort Wayne, Sweetwater Headquarters is such an amazing place to be able to visit. The shopping experience here has been really well thought out. Upon walking into the guitar area, there are demo tables completely set up with different pedals, guitars with straps, and headphones, all so you can try out different gear. They also have these wonderful practice rooms with many quality amps, 9v outlets, and guitar cables, so you don't have to be in the main guitar room with everybody to try out an instrument or amp you like! Always wanted to try out a certain guitar brand? They have it. Always wanted to try a brand of amps? They have them. That is barely scratching the surface of what Sweetwater Headquarters really is though, as the amazing customer experience I had with the guitar section carried on to the bass guitar, drums, piano room, the used gear room, and the wind instrument room. There really is just so much to see and so much to try out, it really feels as the company has put a lot of thought into really letting the customer try things out and the end user experience of trying new instruments really shines. I never thought I'd be interested in an electric drumset, but because I got the opportunity to try not just one but multiple different demo units that are always available in store, I now want to get one, and I feel that that kind of experience is just not out there anywhere else. All in all, I am very happy to see the company taking such an excellent approach to the way they do business. From the follow ups after purschase to the excellent staffing and customer service in store, this company really cares about its end user, and the way they do business here will keep bringing customers like myself back.

I was at your store today (9/2/22) as my son was picking out some cymbals. I went to the live sound room with a very small question about some cords to be able to play my phone through my hot spot. This gentleman talked through and helped me with my dilemma. (I could get it to work but only one channels was playing no matter the cord combination I tried) This guy treated my $24 sale as if I was making a $24k sale!! I’m always amazed at this company’s culture. I’m a musician as are my four sons (two professionally) and we buy every piece of gear from Sweetwater. Great store to shop for guitars: I've been told they're the only online shop that'll do a professional set up on your purchase. Although, I personally have never purchased a guitar directly through them. I've only made a couple really small purchase for my enjoyment. Wow! Went here over the weekend to check out their new showroom and its way better than the old showroom, they now have a dedicated room to each instrument such as: keyboard room, synthesizer room, acoustic guitar room, electric guitar room, bass guitar room and a few other rooms! They also have 2 guitar demo rooms and they now let you try out guitar pedals. This is a really great place for any musician!

I've purchased musical instruments and gear from Sweetwater over the years with 100% satisfaction, and this time it was a high quality Kala Ukulele, which I ordered after several conversations with Matt Subers to determine its suitability for me due to serious finger damage requiring my unusual tuning & playing style. He was typically helpful, but upon receipt I realized this instrument would be difficult for me to play well enough to do it justice. I hated to put these guys guys through all this, as this was a really nice instrument; however, they were entirely gracious about the return/refund process and talked me through it painlessly. I will continue to check with Sweetwater first when shopping for musical equipment in the future.

Have made multiple purchases from Sweetwater both for a church and personally but this past experience ordering two guitars was disappointing. I didn't realize that when the guitar you want to buy is back ordered (out of stock), that you do NOT get to pick your guitar from the gallery when they are re-stocked. I understand the challenges with logistics but that is one of the main reasons I decided to invest in a guitar from Sweetwater. I called and asked the sales engineer he said he should have told me at the time of the order but for this situation, "you get what you get" which I never would have expected from Sweetwater. He said I could exchange if i wanted when they get another shipment but I would have to pay for shipping. Honestly, I would have held off on the order until I could choose if I knew. That said, the first guitar that I did choose has been great.

Ordered two Kala ukuleles for my granddaughters. They were packed well and arrived undamaged. The girls loved them as each one was in their favorite color. I just typed in purple ukulele and Sweetwater Sound was on top. My granddaughter, the purple one, was shopping with me to pick the uke she preferred. In the list of ukes available she picked this one and would not change her mind. So I ordered them. I already knew what the red one wanted. I was contacted by Joel McCann about two days after I ordered them to explain the warranty and service to me and just to check on the experience of the ordering process. He also sent me his VCard complete with photo so I had all of the contact info to take care of my order and product. I really appreciated that. A day later I had tracking information. Once we chose the Kala uke, I checked other shopping platforms to compare pricing. Amazon, eBay, and others had the exact pricing with free shipping on all. Only Amazon had two day shipping for Prime members. I have purchased several ukes through the various shopping outlets and found that music stores tend to take better care when shipping my orders. The whole process took about a week. I have two Kala Ukes and they are well constructed and have rock solid warranties. As far as setup? I am sure they got a quick "My Dog Has Fleas" and a look to make sure everything is there. Not much else is required for entry level ukes. Overall experience was Outstanding! Great job Joel, and to the rest of the team that handled my order! Definitely recommend this shop!

one of my favorite places in the world. the shop is amazing, you can go in there and try out instruments. im a bassist and drummer, so i spend most of my time in the bass or drum room. they have a large selection of electric basses in the vass room that they switch out regularly. ive taken my own bass in there for repair multiple times and they are always very cooperative and fast. 5 out of 5 for sure

If I could give Sweetwater twenty stars, I would! My daughter, who is in 6th grade, started band this year. I had a horrible experience with the company her school promoted. We were sent an order form, for the same company, to order instrument maintenance supplies; I pitched that and grabbed the next online shop I could find. I thought the name was a bit weird, but I saw the star rating and decided to purchase cork grease, she needed it and they had it. I was surprised to see a call from Colton, our sales guru, multiple times in a row and thought, 'jeeze, pushy much? I work for a living too ya know!' followed with 'maybe something was wrong with my order?'. I called back and was pleasantly surprised to know customers are "assigned" to a sales rep who they go through for anything. Colton is awesome! He was genuine and knowledgeable, let me vent a bit about my situation, provided information and answered any questions I had. I hung up the phone with a different perspective! Somehow, I landed in the right place and Colton, being the only person, I was in contact with, played a major role in changing my entire outlook on 'this band thing'. I am so grateful my hail mary was a good one! I can't say enough, our cork grease came with a little bag of candy and a Sweetwater brand sticker. First visit to Sweetwater. A 3hr drive from home for me, and well worth it. Amazingly huge operation. From the rooms of instruments and different departments, the Cafe, game room, and other areas we didn't visit (like the pavilion or medical facility), it's awe inspiring. The staff are top rate in knowledge and in courtesy (and that includes the online sales staff). Tyler helped me via email to line up several acoustic guitars that I wanted to try out when I visited on a weekend. Casey was really helpful in making that happen once I arrived. He was very patient and great to work with. They brought the guitars in a room and left me there to narrow down my choices. No hovering, and no pressure. We were there nearly five hours (including lunch in the Cafe at bargain prices for the food!) I went home with a new guitar that wasn't even in my radar until Casey suggested it. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend stopping in, or shopping online for all of your musical needs

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is so incredibly nice and intelligent! Any question you have they can answer! (In regards to music that is 😉😄) Plus they even let you play just about any instrument you want! I literally watched my son play on a $100,000 piano and the only thing said was "he having fun?" Seriously?!? You can't ask for a better place of business! And yeah that piano was expensive, but the prices on everything else is pretty reasonable and expect. I've actually been shocked at some prices and couldn't belive it was so cheap for something as high as quality as it was! So, we definitely keep going back! And will continue to do so! My experience with Sweetwater was second to none. I ordered a drum set for my son recently. The price was right and the shipping was free (which was a major selling point). At any rate, the order ended up not going through b/c of a credit card snafu. I emailed the and their representative (Eric) contacted me shortly thereafter. He ran the card again and it turned out the expiration date was wrong. Meanwhile, however, I had lost a few days since the order hadn't processed yet. Eric informed me that he was going to Fed Ex overnight the drum set so it would still arrive on the anticipated date and wasn't going to charge anything for that courtesy. Long story short, my son still got his drum set on time (and he loves it!). Expert customer service is often elusive these days but not at Sweetwater who went above and beyond. They definitely earned a return customer!

Bought a demo model oxygen-25 pro that was broken and they exchanged for a new one without any issues they now have a customer for life. I will happily drive 2 hours to have this kind of customer service. they stand behind what they sell in a way of that most music shops won't and I plan on buying my next big guitar upgrade from them because of this service.

It's always fun coming to Sweetwater to check out all the new equipment and toying with the pianos. It's a great pass time with quality products and the employees seem to love their job so it ties the experience together well. Edit: Went with a friend who picked up some equipment and everybody who helped us in the whole process was super friendly and helped him decide which speakers to purchase. The assistant, whose name I believe was Steele, didn't try to force him to buy something more expensive or flashy. My friend wanted the Mackie 15a thumps and that's what we left with. However he did answer any questions we had and showed us the different lights. Overall still a great experience!

Well I was charged the other day with taking my father (now in his '80s) over to Sweetwater for the very first time! I must say I was overwhelmed by the scope /layout of the place.. And if you like music, this is the place to visit. My father and I did just that the other day. We were on a mission to figure out why his trumpet was not tooting the right way.. A wonderful lady by the name of Deb (brass and orchestra section) came out and helped us identify some steps to take.. She also suggested that my father ease up on his morning Reveille routine (something he does to honor his father) & let the blister on his upper lip heal... We all joked that that was likely the reason he was experiencing some high-note misfires.. Deb still went above a beyond and offered other solution like offering to clean the valves and checking out the felts.. She was very professional and kind.. I guess the bottom line is that Sweetwater is just an easy-peasy place to walk into and discover what is available in today's musical universe. You are sure to discover something that you may not have known or felt before-. Sweetwater is a this area's one-stop-shop for the music aficionado. Plus it is easily located off the interstate & offers plenty of parking. . In the end, if all you do is walk in and walk around for a little bit, you're not going to regret it. Everything about this place is amazing. It's to the point where I live 5 minutes away from Sam ash and guitar center but I go of my way and drive 2 hours from Indy to make my purchases here. The employee knowledge, hospitality and overall environment is top notch and something you can't find anywhere else. I purchased two guitars over a year from here and I worked with Randy. Both times were excellent experiences. When I purchased my first guitar here, it was my first time visiting and Randy gave me an excellent tour of the place and answered every question or concern I had. He put the guitars I wanted on hold both times and I'm happy with the results. During the tour I passed through the area where they train their employees. It seems like a long and rigorous training process but you really see it on the floor when talking to an employee. Everyone working here knows what they are talking about and its clear that everyone loves working there. It just goes to show how much effort the owner puts to make it a good place to work for his employees. What can I say about Sweetwater?! It is the greatest music store on the planet! I have purchased a couple of guitars from them, I have had two amplifiers repaired, I take music lessons there and I eat in their café. Let's talk about the buying experience. I purchased a guitar from Brian and one from Mitch. Both are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the instruments that they are selling. They never pressured me I asked them for their opinion and they gave me what I felt was an honest opinion. Sweetwater provides music lessons and I happen to take guitar lessons from Kenny Taylor. Not only is Kenny one of the greatest guitarist in Fort Wayne, he is a phenomenal teacher. I had an accident which prevented me from going in for a lesson and Kenny dropped off lessons to me. Just honestly one of the greatest guys that I know. I collect lab series amplifiers… I know kind of odd, but I have picked up a couple of them from music stores out of state and have had Sweetwater check them out to make sure everything was in proper working order before I plugged them in. One of them needed some power supply repairs that would've caused some serious issues had I plug it in. How good could the food be in a music store?? Well I will tell you. They work very hard at making great lunch specials and they have awesome soup. They are always very polite and helpful. I had mentioned I had an accident and they carried my tray to and from my table to help me out. When I had came back in the store after my motorcycle accident, as I was walking in with my guitar in one hand and using my walker, one of the receptionist, Julia came running over to help me with my guitar. If you are a musician and you have not been to Sweetwater, you are missing out!

First, I want to say that I am a 62 year old man who wants to learn how to play the digital piano. Since my local music store had a limited inventory of digital pianos that were priced out of my budget, I had to search online for a music store that might have a digital piano within my budget. After, three months of searching and contacting various music stores, I eventually discovered Sweetwater. Second, when I contacted Sweetwater by phone, my call was directed to Brandon Younglao (Sales Engineer). I was impressed with his friendly and courteous manner, his professionalism, and his patience with me as I expressed my needs and concerns. He answered the following to my satisfaction which lead me to purchase from Sweetwater: 1. What size digital piano should I buy that will not limit me to a specific genre of music only, and that will fit into my budget? After Brandon listened to what genres of music I wanted to learn, he suggested the Alesis Recital Pro 88-key digital piano which was within my budget. 2. Is there a warranty? Brandon said that there is a 1 year manufacturer warranty plus Sweetwater’s FREE 2-Year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty. 3. If the Alesis Recital Pro 88-key digital piano needs servicing, do you have an on-site service department or will I have to ship it to the manufacturer for servicing? Brandon said that Sweetwater has an on-site service department that services virtually every piece of gear that Sweetwater sells, and if they are not authorized to service a piece of gear, that they work directly with the manufacturer for service. At this point Brandon checked to see if the service department was able to service the Alesis Recital Pro 88-key digital piano, and the service department said they were authorized to service it. 4. Is there free shipping? The answer was “Yes”. 5. What steps does Sweetwater take to ensure that the item shipped will not be damaged? Brandon said that not only is the item protected in the manufacturer’s box, but this box is securely wrapped in bubble wrap and placed into another box. (When I received the shipment, the outer box was slightly damaged, but there was no damage to the inner box. Also, it was tightly packed so that there was no movement of the item.) 6. What accessories do I need for the Alesis Recital Pro 88-key digital piano? Brandon said that I would need a bench, a stand, and a sustain pedal. (I purchased these items, also.) Third, I appreciate that Brandon did not try to sell me more than a beginner would need. I was shocked when Brandon reached out to me after a month to see if I received the items, and if I had any issues (greatly appreciated). Back in April, when they did the initial quarantine because of Covid-19, I was bored out of my mind and decided that I wanted to play guitar again to pass time. I pulled out my guitar from high school and surprisingly it tuned fairly well, but the strings felt very old. I was going to just order some new strings but since I was basically starting over with learning guitar, I started to research new guitars. Visited for the first time this past weekend, despite driving past it everyday for 4 years…. I assumed that there wouldn’t be much to see and we would be out within 15-20 minutes. This wasn’t the case. I think we were there close to 2 hours and I was surprised by how much inventory they had. The kids really enjoyed it and for the most part you can test a lot of the equipment. While visiting family over the holidays, I decided to go up to Fort Wayne with a friend of mine. We were both blown away with how awesome of a music store it is. I wish I wouldn't have blown all my money for the holidays so I would have had some for my trip there. Getting to play some of the instruments on my wish list that I've not found in any other music stores so far was awesome and confirmed (and disregarded) some of them. The staff is awesome, as well. Super friendly and helpful. Everything was laid out in very easy to find ways, as well. The synth selection is the biggest I've seen. Just a genuinely great place to get your gear.

This company knows that a successful music store depends on two things: having the best gear in stock and going all out on customer service. They got it on both counts. Often they are the only on line store that will have something in stock when even a larger chain will say “more on order” and It’s amazing that they go so far into details like showing all the different individual guitars of a specific model with photos and weight so I can choose the exact one. And I’ve gotten demo deals several times where there’s supposed to be a blemish but I can never find them, these folks are just super concerned about details and obviously take their customers satisfaction seriously. And the sales engineer I work with Aaron will always take time to make sure everything’s good. Just a pleasure doing business with them now for 15 years.

First let me say, Sweetwater customer service is great. Every order they have a rep contact you, and that is great. Unfortunately, most times when I need an item, I end up going to Amazon. While Sweetwater always has a competitive price (before shipping), items usually take days-weeks longer to get here (Southern California). I have had at least 3 times I have ordered something, only to get a call later that day to say its on back order. I like their service model, but if they don't make some tweaks to stock and shipping, Amazon is going to eat their lunch. I have ordered thousands worth of equipment from them, but have also spent thousands elsewhere, that could have been theirs if the stock and shipping were a bit better. We don't need you to be Amazon, but it can't be as slow as it is.

Had an accident with my brand new Gibson SG. My fault. Took a nick out of the finish down to the wood. It was small, but highly visible on the top side of the body as you look down at the guitar when playing. Knowing this was not a warranty or Sweetwater problem, I phoned the Service Department To my surprise and due to some incredible timing, Dakota Bishop went beyond expectations. He said, we understand how you feel and while we cannot replace the guitar, we have the last 2018 model on my bench now and it has a very small imperfection on the fretboard that has no impact on play. Sweetwater sent that to me to examine, it was perfect and I could not even find the defect! I sent my dinged guitar back. Sweetwater picked up the shipping cost and the replacement guitar was set up with the same care the original was. This is so far above good customer service that I wanted to give credit where credit is due.. Thank you Dakota and Sweetwater! Every review about your great service is true and may even be understated!

I love this place. I usually only make the trip to visit durring gearfest, and that event is a great time for anyone who is interested in music and gear. If you have a list of items you would like to buy but are waiting for a better deal and live close enough to visit durring gearfest (a 2 day event each year around june-july) then you might be wise to go check it out. Everything is pricecut, but also there are vendors from every company, and presentations on a range of subjects, some informational some entertaining.. its a good time not only to get a good deal, but also to decide if you are getting the correct tools you need to acomplish what you want, because the people with answers are there. Dont know how to use your fancy new soundboard? Go ask someone from the company that makes them to fill you in. Aside from gearfest, its pretty fantastic, the store reminds me of like.. if google was a smaller company, and sold music equipment instead of ruling the internet. Ive heard from others that live closer, that the prices arent the most competitive around when gearfest isnt going, but that they are still very helpful and informative. Shoutout to Codie at Sweetwater, helped me out and got me a deal on my guitar this year at gearfest, thanks man!

What a candy store for musicians. If you're in Fort Wayne it's worth it just to poke around and see what they got. Sales associates were super super helpful in helping me find what I needed both times I went. Even items I needed to see but didn't buy. Go in there with a few hours to spend because it can take a few minutes if you want to look at something for them to get it from the warehouse side of the building. Some of the upper management looked a little stiff but otherwise, was a five-star shopping experience.

I've spent so much money here. they're everything you would want from an online store. great selection, the best prices, prompt shipping, and a sales associate that promptly answers any questions you have. i can't think of a single thing that I'd improve. as an example, the other day, one of my orders was in FedEx purgatory, stuck in St. Louis for days. this wasn't Sweetwater's fault, but when i reached out to my sales associate, he spoke to FedEx until they found my package and it arrived the next day.

This is my go to store for equipment whether it is something big ( for my budget) such as the JBL Eon One MK2 or something small such as a Check Mate SPL decibel meter. My rep is Devin Cunningham. Not to mention a personal message, email, AND phone call barely more than an hour after my order was placed. I was looking to buy some cymbals. Most places you are limited to whatever they happen to have in the showroom, but I wanted to actually hear the cymbals before purchasing them. I emailed Daniel Rivera (since he helped me with my last purchase) and asked if it would be possible to check out a couple different cymbal packs on a Saturday morning. I drove 3 hours...and it was worth it. Daniel set me up in a private room with the two cymbal packs I was interested in. He was extremely knowledgeable, but not arrogant or condescending at all. Very helpful and courteous. I ended up buying a bunch of stuff that day. They have a nice cafe in the building which is very reasonably priced. My wife sat in the cafe and worked on her laptop while I shopped. Very nice experience. Thank you, Mr. Rivera!

What a gorgeous place! I loved seeing all they had to offer. Not a lot with actual sheet music but if you ever need brand new instruments, repairs, or want to check their resale items, this is definitely the place. Great place to hang out with the family, they have a huge indoor slide, a pool table, free arcade games. Food is cheep and not bad at all! Super clean and beautiful architecture. They have a repair center! The music shop is great because everything has it's own room. Makes it very organised and keeps the noise levels down. Super helpful staff! They have some exhibits that come through as well as many events and concerts! My only complaint as a musician is they lack folk and ethnic instruments.

I've always been treated with kindness and care from all of the employees, and my shipments have arrived on time or earlier than I expected probably 95% of the time. I've been a Sweetwater customer for over 13 years. I discovered it through an ad years ago and realized that it had exactly what I needed for my audio needs. Way back then in California, I was assigned a personal sales representative, Dan. About 10 years later I moved from California to Indiana. Ironically I'm now only about 30 minutes from the world headquarters. Interestingly, that same sales representative, Dan, is still with me over all the years and all the miles. Whether I go to the store and shop there or shop online, I always get great service. Whether I go in and spend $2 on a clearance item or $200 like this week or even $2,000 to $4,000 on a big purchase, I always get excellent service. I'm not a fanboy and it's not that I don't use other businesses occasionally for audio needs but with their 2-year warranty on virtually all products and the amazing training they do for their employees on products they sell, they really just can't be beat. They also give a lot back to the community which I think is a big plus. I highly recommend Sweetwater.

Sweetwater Sound was such an amazing experience. This was our first time down here, and they had more gear in stock than any other music store I have been to in my life.
