This location is always staffed with the most helpful, friendly, and joyful employees. From the moment I walk in they greet me and acknowledge my presence. I always find what I am looking for as the store is clean and organized. I never have to look far for help as they are always looking for ways to assist/help. I always get more information than I expect from them. I could not have a pet without this store in my neighborhood providing for our every need within just a few blocks from home. My cats and I appreciate you all.

Ruth is the best! She handled my anxiety ridden dog and was very understanding. He even had an accident on the table during grooming and she and the team handled it like a champ... She did a great job grooming him, we will be back!

Great prices and staff. The last time I went they had a killer deal on walnut kitty litter. A 26lb bag that was normally $43 was on sale for $24 plus the bag had a $4 off coupon. They also typically have deals if you buy a certain amount. Store is always clean and they are quick to add more cashiers when there is a line.

It's usually hit or miss on having my cat's food in stock ... It's more the brand rather than Petco. The person who was helping me did a good job, but we were both aware of the slow down of the current shipments. So, although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, there was still an alternative ... and they price match!!!

Andrew at Petco was awesome and found wha I needed immediately Since this last review my 18-year-old has passed away but I’ve gotten a new puppy nine month old 40 pound poi dog. It's okay there's not much available for kittens in the solid food department and sometime it. Am seem so expensive. Yha that's my biggest complaint for most pet stores on island or even grocery stores no products for kittens under 1 year old. But the people who work there are nice.

Although I've been to Petco to buy things for my brother's dog, this was the first time to go for my own. We just bought a puppy and so needed to pick up a few things. I signed up for our own account at this visit. As a new puppy owner, my view on things were a little different as when i was buying for my brother's dog. I noticed there wasn't any raw food in the fridge (we are considering raw food) but will check again. We'll definitely be there more often now....with a new perspective.

Finally a store that carries the dog food " Honest Kitchen " in Hawai'i. Its the only Dog Food in the United States made in a Human Grade Certified Kitchen AND our pets love it and we are always asked what we feed our dogs because they look so good at 16 and 17 years old ! I love that Petco allows us to use Insta Cart for our pet needs as we have mobility issues and sincerely appreciate the kindness and assistance from all.

The store looks clean and the animal stock looks healthy overall. Nothing is worse than going into any store and seeing dead fish left in the tank unattended. Or seeing the fish kept in dirty looking conditions. So far, I've never seen that in my visits to this store.

I really like that I can return it within 90 days bc my dog is so picky and he has allergies, which makes switching food not as stressful. I don't have to worry about wasting money. I like coming here. My dog loves to come along, too. The employees are super nice and have hooked me up with deals more than once. Prices could be better (couldn't it always?) but it's convenient and they carry food my dog likes. The parking lot often has some crazy drivers in a rush, though.

It is much easier to shop online and pick-up in store. I'm not hunting around looking for what I want, then picking up things I don't need, just because it's there, or on sale. I also find the prices are cheaper online and I automatically get the lower price. I pay for it online, so all i need to do is go to the cashier, show my order#, in an email I received. and that's it. i receive an email when my order is received, when it is ready for pick up, and another letting me know it has been picked up. This time when i ordered (Liver flavored Kong paste), the girl checked my order before putting it in my bag and told me they picked up Bacon and Cheese flavored. I let her know my pup is not a fan of that one, so she went to the shelf and picked up the Liver flavored. thank you for checking before putting it in my bag. I would recommend anyone do this.

I don't normally post reviews but I am compelled to mention the rockstar customer service I received today from the manager Melissa. I originally popped in to buy some flea spray but found myself wandering to their aquarium section to look for supplies I needed to fix up my old tank. After searching around in a futile attempt to find what I needed I decided I needed some help. I didn't see anyone around but after asking at the front cashier stand I was quickly greeted by Melissa who answered all my questions and was able to direct me to their selection. The only aquarium hood they had that would fit my tank was a display model and she was able to sell it to me with a note on my receipt that it could be returned within 60 days without the box provided I bring the receipt back with it. I was impressed with her professionalism and calm demeanor all while being under staffed and bombarded with customer calls and requests. The hood works and fits great and I am a happy camper. Has just about everything you need to keep furrbaby in great health. Had some issues with customer service and a return regarding my points but the store itself has usually helpful great staff. Just should communicate when doing merchandise returns that even though you have receipt from paying online with card your return gift card can only be used in store! So heads up all.

Customer service is not that helpful. The guy did not understand what I was asking and only reiterated what I could already read on the package. He was not knowledgeable about dogs/puppies. I had to go here because my usual Petco store was out of the food I needed for my puppies. I luckily got the last bag at this location. I do not prefer to go to this location in town again, so far I will continue to go to the one in Pearl City only.

Petco Beretania is a great place to get pet supplies and services. Friendly staff, clean store and well stocked with a diverse selection. Prices can sometimes be higher than average but Petco is great about price matching :) Barrier free access with wide isles and restrooms inside the store. They were about to close. I knew where and exactly what dog food I needed. The girl kinda was rushing. Didn't offer me a bag or help. I like this store though. Just that night was not a 5 star experience. Try get there before 10 mins before closing or the haole girl might night your head off.

It's pretty much the only gig in town if you need pet supplies. I'm a little disappointed because my dog is a service animal and hotels, restaurants, supermarket and the general public like to see the service animal wearing some type of official-looking vest or sweater or some type of clothing that says, "hey I'm in charge around here and I'm helping this man so back off!" And they don't have any good service animal clothing. I didn't see any. But I'm legally blind so I probably didn't see much of anything that day. You know that little stick that blind people use to walk down the sidewalk with? I'm thinking of installing one on the front bumper of my car. That way when I go up the sidewalk like I often do people will be aware that this person is handicapped so we need to be extra cautious as I mow down people like corn stock at the bus stop. Or I could stop driving altogether like law enforcement keeps suggesting every time one of these incidents takes place. It doesn't seem like they're suggesting seems more like they're trying to tell me what to do and I don't like that. I'm a free thinker, I burned my bra in the 60s! Oh wait a second that wasn't my bra that was a neighborhood that I burned. I'm a guy so I certainly did not burn my bra. Not that guys can't wear bras I'm just saying that I didn't burn mine. I should have but I didn't. Anyways, y'all take care

I brought one products which I purchased NOVEMBER 1, unfortunately, the machine did not work well so I asked replacement to a staff. He told me Petco also has 60 days guarantee. That is why I could replace new filter for my fish tank. Thank you Petco staff. They are always friendly and very knowledgeable.

We just got 2 puppies recently and have relied heavily on petco staff. From signing up for the puppy training to asking which food would be best. Spent a full 20 minutes explaining the differences between the brands and what would be best for our breeds. Love the staff and can tell they love animals too!

The staff here is so nice and helpful. The store is clean and organized. The gentlemen that was at the cash wrap, Adrew, was very nice and patient. We couldn't locate our Petco Pals reward account, so he patiently waited, and struck up a conversation with us. Overall it's a 9 1/2. I ordered a couple of flea treatments online separately because it wouldn't allow me to get them in one order. When I went to pick it up, they could only find one, so they gave me the second one from the open store stock, which is ok, but I keep getting emails, reminding me to pick up my order. I even replied to one of the emails explaining the situation. No response till this survey.

Cashiers here are real helpful. The store is always clean. The fish tanks birds and rodents are always clean. High standards for a big box store. The crickets are on the other hand are not. They prepackage them and they end up eating each other rather than cricket food.

There wasn't really anyone around to help so I asked some customers for help🤷‍♀️ I called my son and he told me exactly what brand he likes to get and it's for all types, the brand, whole hearted. This is probably better known as a Super Pet Store. If you are looking for anything for your little furry friend and you have shopped all around and still couldn’t find what you were looking for, may I suggest your local Petco Store. When I need pet supplies the first and only store I go to is Petco because I know that I will find it there. Not only that, but they usually have a large verity of that item. I hope that this store is going to be there for a long time. Oh did I mention that their prices are lower than their competitors and that they are always having sales and weekly discounts for your shopping pleasure.

This place has everything from aquarium supplies to dog grooming services. My only complaints are the occasional long check-out lines and the difficulty finding help from an associate while shopping. Most importantly, make sure you download the Petco app so you can price match your items at check out. Price matching makes their prices waaaaay more reasonable. Open the app and click on the scanner button on the top right corner next to the magnifine glass. Scan the barcode on the item with your phone, select the appropriate amount/size you are purchasing, and then show the new price to the cashier. You will need to repeat this process for each item.

I shopped for cat food, and there's a lot to choose from! I also bought kitty litter. The reusable bucket saves a couple dollars. Clean store and set up for social distancing at the check out. Overall a good place to shop for pet supplies.

The employees or partners as they are referred to are mostly awesome, a couple of sour faces.As far as the fish go, the care seems POOR. Every tank in the freshwater selection is rampant with ick. TIP: The prices at Petco.com are different and usually lower than in store. The store does not price match with their website. Also, some gift cards only work instore, others only work online. Found this out the hard way. But the store itself is top notch when it comes to selection and they host adoptable dogs from the humane society so good in them.

Oh yeah, the fried chicken wings are the "bestest" in Hawaii and my son's little league team would whack that tray first. They've flavorful and crispy outside while moist and juicy inside, twice both sides, pull our the two (2) bones and you'll have the bestest chicken nugget ever,...ever!!! It's too bad that the little league Moms showed the little leagues how to eat wings. Now, the little league fathers must naw on the drumettes. Try 'em!
