They usually have what I am looking for, but not always. They are pretty good with “the usual” office supply items, but are not always so good with my more “arts & crafts” needs. They are a great time saver for printing and cutting to size for homemade Christmas cards!

The associates at the Ala Moana OfficeMax always greets you and always offers you assistance. The printing staff are knowledgeable and efficient. I enjoy shopping here. I can't say much for management though. I did shop at Office Depot at the Dillingham location and they helped me with a purchase that this location refused and didn't accept a price match.

I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes were easily one of the best parts of my day. It was a slow sunday morning, I only came in to purchase some CD's and pens, and every single person I talked to in that store was the model of professionalism and outstanding customer service. The team working at Office Depot in Honolulu approached my concerns and helped me find my products with a surgical efficiency that I wish my sailors would approach their duties with. Marvin and staff met my needs (and more) to solve my printer problem. Appreciated the greeter when first entering the store, who directed me to the printer associate. Even if I had to return, Marvin walked me through the process to resolve the problem. Also helped me with a discount which helped with the cost of the new cartridges. While waiting, I observed the teamwork among the associates. They focus on the customer, extraordinary. Liked the real-time communicating to associates in the store to be available for assistance to a customer directed to a particular aisle.

This OfficeMax on Ala Moana Blvd is the go-to store for this product field. Unlike the other popular, big-box store near Ala Moana Blvd, the staff here are extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We were greeted by one staff member, identified the product we were seeking, and were directed to the aisle where it was located, with the promise that they would send someone else to assist us. That second employee arrived seconds after us in the aisle! They walked us through all the options, checked with their sibling stores to see if they had inventory, and even told us the schedule of upcoming deliveries of more product. (COVID-related supply chain issues meant the exact item we wanted was not available today. ) We will be going back, not just to get this item when it comes in but for all our needs in this area. Added bonus, especially in Honolulu? There's plenty of free parking!

The store is well stocked so my time is not wasted by an empty shelf. And the store is well organized and the staff was very helpful in finding the exact item I was looking for. Used the self server copiers to print out some files from a USB drive. The process was easy and quick. And liked they had a small work area with staple remover, stapler, and cutter.

OfficeMax on Ala Moana Blvd is the best store in this sector for office type supplies, I feel the staff there is helpful and their cheeriness has been on the upswing. Prices are right and selection is often superior to competitors. Parking is plentiful and the AC is blowing cold. Mornings, around 10am seems to have little traffic and is an ideal time to avoid crowds or long lines.

I had to place a large order of programs for my organization's conference at a nearby hotel. We had to wait until the week of to submit our document to the printer and I was so stressed that it would not be delivered in time. However, the printing manager (Julia) and an associate (Nik) were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Our 175 programs were created in less than a day and sent out the next. They were even delivered early! Thank you to the team for putting my mind at ease and helping me handle such an important part of our conference.

Great customer service and decent selection of office supplies. They don't always have what I came in for, but they have really nice staff that is willing to order things if they can. I bought both my printer, and my laptop from them, and got really good deals on both. Depending on what you are looking for, you might get better prices online, or at Fisher's, but the service and availability of products makes it worth checking out. Bonus is the great Kakaako wall art, and good parking. Negative is the homeless people that have set up camp all over the neighborhood.

Visiting OfficeMax is a pleasure. I feel relaxed. People there listen to my needs and show me just IT, no more. On the other hand, going to Best Buy is like going to the car dealership. Their staff up-sale me at every chance, and I always feel uncomfortable not getting the best. I get all stressed out at Best Buy. Same goes at the Apple Store. OfficeMax has great weekly killer deals, so that's what I end up getting. Their regular price seems to be on the high side. My daughter did found the $1 gift bin, shaped erasers for all.

We just recently purchased another new work station/desk from them, along with a chair and lamp. We are very happy with the quality and prices on all of these items. We find everyone at the store to be very helpful, friendly and professional but would also like to give special praise to a particular employee, Ms. Sherly Doropan, for being a great sales associate. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful to my wife and I as we make purchases and all the while, makes us feel like a part of her family. As a writer who works from home, I spend many hours at my desk and thanks to Sherly's expert consultation, this new work station is very comfortable and functional, making my job much easier. I like comito this OfficeMax as the people I speak to are knowledgeable about the products they sell. If in the likelihood they don't know, they either find someone that does or look up the information for me. Pro tip: if you go online and see a better price then what the store offers they will match the price. Just show them the add on your electronic device and there you go. Worst case scenario is you can buy it online and pick it up at the store as well.

I went there after going to BestBuy and a small computer repair shop with my computer that would not start up at all. Nando help me out and was able to get my computer working! He figured out I need to replace the battery, but everything else was fine. He did everything right in front of me! If you have any computer issues, I highly recommend going and visiting Nando!
