Cute little shop in downtown Hartford. Good place to go for gifts and souvenirs. Lots of local artists work there. Clean, bright environment. Easy access from the Main Street. I picked up some postcards and stickers as souvenirs.

I followed this shop on Instagram and was finally able to stop by- the shop is adorable. The staff was very friendly and I was able to find a delicious smelling candle, some cute post cards, and even an ornament. I'll definitely keep this shop in mind when getting host/hostess gifts this holiday season.

Love the store, but def need to change the market module. This is a GIFT shop, not a PRINT shop. Very confusing for those who want to print their own work locally - this is the main option that pops up. Very cute store for consumers but for creators looking for vendors - not so helpful. Great for tourist though..

I’m a long time customer of HP! and consistently have positive shopping experiences each time I visit. The retail staff is always kind and helpful and make great recommendations whenever I’m looking to find something special for someone else. I’ve definitely walked out getting more than I intended with zero regrets. Hartford Prints! is a great store! We ordered online and they had our item ready for pickup right away. We were also greeted with delicious hot chocolate. Great selection of Hartford and CT pride items plus locally made goods. Definitely will keep in mind again for future ideas.

Hartford Prints is the embodiment of Hartford Pride! I love that this shop exists and is staffed with tried and true Hartford natives. They sell custom gifts and have such a nice variety of Hartford and CT based gifts I (as a fellow Hartford native) often feel compelled to buy literally everything! I am the proud owner of two Hartford pillows and a new Hartford alphabet print that I am having framed to hang proudly on my wall at home. This place is a must see if you are in the Downtown Hartford area!

Such a cute place with so many things to look at! The lady at the counter was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely be browsing the website for Christmas presents in the future. Local & charming. Things we saw in the shop were: prints, pins, candles, cards, apparel and more!

Thoughtful, quality, unique gifts. I grew up in WeHa and the pride I felt walking around and seeing all the home grown goodies was deep, I highly recommend shopping here if you’re passing through the area. I’m a fan of shopping in museum shops and Hartford Prints actually provides goods to some local museums in the area, I learned about them from the staff at the Wadsworth. Shout out to Hannah! Customer service on point.

I was shopping their selection online when I came across an item I wanted, only to find that it was out of stock in my size. I decided that it couldn't hurt to inquire about when they'd restock it. The very next business day they re-checked their inventory, found what I wanted, set it aside just for me and let me know that I could make my purchase whenever I wanted (which I very promptly did). So in short - great customer service, and if my sweatshirt is any indicator, their wares are top-notch quality (not to mention all locally-produced). I can't wait to visit their Pratt Street location in Hartford the first chance that I can get.

I have visited this store on many occasions and I keep coming back for more! I am in love with the quality and variety of the fun items that they have to offer. You can find everything from super soft t-shirts and hoodies with cute logos to hand printed cards and prints to honey and locally made beauty products. This place has it all! The great, cozy space, amazing products and fun printmaking events make this place great, but the ladies that run it make it fantastic! The next time you're in the area, make sure you stop in.

If you want to give someone a piece of Connecticut that's made by a local business, come here! They have sweaters, journals, prints mugs and so much more to explore. Keep in mind because this is a small business, it does come at a price. The girls here know Hartford very well so we should commend them for it!

Wonderful shop with such a beautiful selection of cards, gifts, and prints. I have one of their "Hartford" mugs and it's held up for years (even when I put it in the dish washer). If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time!

This storefront for a Hartford-based letterpress shop makes a walk down one-block Pratt Street in the center of downtown worth the trip. Founded by a trio of sisters, the press turns out original designs on cards and other stationery, as well as T-shirts, gifts, and a few art prints. Anyone who loves the old-school look of hand-printed work and the feel of the words and images pressed into fine paper with substance will enjoy browsing in this cheery shop with shiny hardwood floor. It's just the place for times when you want a thank-you card that will make the recipient feel like posting it as a little work of art. Or an invitation that promises a truly special event. Or a note card that feels weighty in the hand. Many items feature Hartford-booster designs, such as cards with line drawings of icons of the Hartford skyline (yes, they exist) and wearables printed with the Little State, Big Heart slogan. Hand printing is labor intensive, and it takes skilled people to set type by hand and run an antique letterpress. Fine paper is costly, too. Therefore expect sticker shock if you're accustomed to greeting cards from the local drugstore chain. But if you want to snail-mail something memorable, head directly to Hartford Prints! Plus you can't beat the personalized and pleasant service. After I bought thank-you notes that came with eye-catching dark blue envelopes, I realized I had no pens with ink that would show up well on them. The staff immediately offered me the use of the shop's metallic silver Sharpie and invited me to take a seat at the bright turquoise schoolkid's desk in the back corner to address them. (Maybe by now the shop sells high-contrast pens for those dark envelopes.) Located just a block and a half inland from the Constitution Plaza and all of its bus stops. And a block and a half on the other side from the Trumbull Street Starbucks and Trumbull Kitchen.
