Shakedown is the best head shop in the whole state let alone Grand rapids!!! The have all of your smoking needs. Best of all they have the best Grateful dead selection!! They have everything from beach towels, bandannas, decorations, posters, stickers and a great variety of GD liquid blue tie dye. If you are in the area or even if not you have to stop in and give them a visit

I love the cool hippie vibe atmosphere. I love the dresses they have styles you won't find in a large department stores (I have 5) The tie die clothing is also cool. I also love the aroma when you walk in they have a huge variety of incense. I really like the jewelry especially the rings. They have a lot of cool stuff, too many to mention. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Been on the west side of the for two years, and I just came across this place. It's amazing, anything and just about everything you could or want in a head shop. Wonderful little store! I frequent here almost three times a month and I make a 45 minute drive to GR just to do it! I struggle with poor sleep and I was looking for some help and advice about how CBD might help. The staff here could not have been more awesome. They were not only friendly and helpful but they really took their time in matching me up with the right CBD, combined with CBN, and walked me through what dosage I should start with and gave me literature to take home so I could better understand how to use it properly moving forward. My favorite place to shop!! Clothes, glass works of art, anything hippie dippy, this is where you want to go!! Everything is reasonably priced and it's way better than the competition, they're a local Mom and Pop shop so don't go anywhere else but here!! Love this place. I have been going there for years. It was actually founded during the Grateful Dead tour. 92 I believe. They have a huge selection of MANY different things. Niche jewelry, hacky sacks, pipes, water pipes, vaporizers, paper, wraps, clothing, decorations, incense. You want it? Shakedown has it(sans food).

Understand one thing before shopping here. It is essentially a cleaner version of a head shop. They sell clothing that I occasionally buy (hats, pants, the wife loves the dresses), large incense collection that I'm a huge fan of, and their pipe & accessory assortment is both affordable and high quality. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Most important to me is that when I have a question they don't know the answer to, they don't just make something up. They tell me they don't know, they call someone to find an answer, or they refer me elsewhere to get the correct information. Thank you Shakedown.

A beautiful little hippie store hidden deep within old side of Grand Rapids. A hidden gem. I love this story dearly. You enter and you can just feel the positive energy. I bought so many cute clothes here.

Reply to owner: I've been using kratom for years and have tried an abundance of different vendors, today I tried yours and it was moderately good but nothing special by any means. You're ripping people off who have yet to learn of "normal" pricing for kratom, and your product is far from high quality.
