This place always has something new, and the prices are excellent. They are also very generous if you are shopping for a non-profit or charity. If you are shopping for yourself, I recommend the punch card and that you check out the bargain bins close to the front door,

The Craft Outlet is a cool warehouse that has been converted into a doscount craft store. The space is well organized and the deals are amazing. Expect to spend 30-90% less than the retail stores. They have weekly deals and items up front that are less than a dollar. Check out their email newsletter for the best deals and secret passwords to get even more of a discount. Pretty much the crafters dream. Plus they have some pet stuff and other items from time to time.

Recently went here for the first time. They have a lot of craft stuff you can’t find at Joann’s or Michael’s, but the selection is limited & I believe some things are overpriced. But they do have some decent deals as well. Mostly a lot of scrapbook stuff. Was disappointed that I couldn’t use a gift certificate & debit card at the same time. My order was more than my gift certificate covered and they made me pay all of it on my debit card. I’ll probably come back just to use the certificate but I don’t think I’ll be coming back very often after that.

This place is so wonderful that I have to give it five stars, but I secretly want to give it one star so that other people don't find all the great deals I want! It's an outlet, so you never quite know what is going to be there. What they have is sold at fantastic prices, even more so on weeks that your products of interest are on sale. There are usually a couple categories of items on sale each week (like craft basics, needlecraft, memory, sewing & quilting, etc.), and then the deals are truly phenomenal. Fair warning: it's a big old building, if you go in the summer it does get HOT.

Oh my goodness, this is a giant selection of craft items. The nice thing is, this is a TRUE outlet. Everything is already 50% off, and then each week different sections of the store (kids crafts, paint & paintables, knitting, floral, etc) are discounted even further! 40-50% off the already reduced prices! Amazing. I got a fantastic self-healing rotary cutting board mat here for $8 instead of the $60 it normally would cost! Huge assortment of knitting, crafting, scrapbooking, painting, wood burning, acrylic, watercolor, finger paint, markers, stamps, floral, spray paint, wood crafts, craft books, etc. Wonderful, friendly staff. Organized & laid out very well. This is a newer location, though it’s in an old factory. The new location has been wonderful! Very open & airy, and it’s fun to see what parts of the old factory they’ve kept on display. TIP—> you can follow them on Facebook or receive emails to get a “secret word” and receive an extra 50% off a non-sale item (of course all items are already discounted, this is just for the weekly sales). TIP—> they have a punchcard you can buy for $10, and every $10 you spend, you get a punch. Once filled, you get $15 to spend at the store. It may not sound like much, but with their prices so low, I often have to work hard to get UP TO $10!! You really get a lot for your $$$.

They are so friendly! I always find a good deal on craft supplies. They also have a good selection of dog and cat items. I bought a leash and harness set in there for a fraction of what it would normally be. It was super cute and very high quality. I already have a set but at that price I now can just keep a set in my vehicle so when we go I am ready without having to find everything first. If you sign up for the emails each week you get a Secret Word for 50% off one item. That will add up to great savings. You never know what great stuff you will find. I Really like the inside of the building too. Must check it out.

I was not as impressed with the craft outlet as I had hoped. They do have a wide variety of items which is a plus, but the prices seemed very high. Maybe that is reflecting the trouble with Russia, but I'd prefer to just shop at Walmart or hit the craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby for sales/coupons. It might be right up your alley for what you need if you know the regular store prices and can compare them. It just wasn't a great fit for me personally.

I love this Outlet! It is like a hidden secret store full of crafting treasures. Lots of items are random so if you see something you want grab it as it will most likely be gone next time you shop. Unexpected find so was fun. Many supplies and things i knew nothing about but bought some Viva pain and leather paint/stain. Was only 2 $ going to experiment. Spent 100 bucks but got a nice load. The store is SUPER organized and staff sweet.

This place has the BEST PRICES!!! On clear stamps, card stock, scrapbook paper, basket making supplies, craft paints, anything you want for crafts look here first they just might have it. I bought a pattern kit for making flowers that anywhere else you would pay up to $10.00 for I got it for $3.25 and it makes a 13 inch rose, I was so happy. Plus the employees are super friendly. I love this place.

This is an amazing place. More craft supplies than art supplies but if you dig for the diamonds you can get some spectacular deals. Very neat and clean, staff is warm and wonderful. Hope to go again soon! Worth the trip from Detroit.

Update: i love this place. If you join their email list, each week they will email list of three product groups that they give an addition 40% discount on, one item that is discounted ridiculously low and a word of the week that gives you an addition 50% off one item (that is not one of the additional 40% off groups). Oh...and they have punch cards. For every $10.00 you spend you get a punch and after you spend I think its $100.00, you can redeem it for $15.00 off your next purchase. Today was my first time at Craft Outlet. Most items 50% off, with a few area at 70% off. They have a huge variety of crafts, sewing, baking supplies. Too many to mention. The staff is wonderful and I had some great conversations with customers.

You can find anything to do with crafting ,scrapbooking, art, sewing and a small section of home goods Some thing are in open or damaged packages but all parts are there unless notes. They have specials every week and a bonus word to also get a1/2 price item. You may purchase a punch card for $2.00 and when filled you will receive $15.00 off your next visit It is in a vintage factory building and you have easy access to the expressway and free parking I was able to get my granddaughters many fun craft items there for Christmas

Only open Wednesday through Saturday, this is a thrifty artist or crafters dream! To save the most, shop the weekly sale departments and use the "secret word," for a big discount on a non-sale item. Although there was lots of stuff here, I was disappointed. I was specifically looking for crochet hooks and a hook case. I found a multi pack of hooks that had some missing and they only had one option of cases to buy. They didn’t seem to have lots of craft supplies that were very craft specific though.

While it's true that it's an outlet store, so you never know what's going to be on the shelves on any given day, I gotta say, they have a huge amount of stock. I was looking for some supplies for a costume (some spray paint, some paper mache stuff called Celluclay) and they had both. It was marked about half off the retail price, PLUS there was another half-price sale going on that covered my items as well, so I ended up getting about a 80% discount. Definitely worth stopping there first to see if they have what you are looking for!
