$400M+ for tomorrow night’s MegaMillions lottery. The surrounding gas stations don’t sell lotto tickets. We were told there was an entire store down the street and all they sell are lottery tickets - wow - REALLY? Lo and behold - they were right! I didn’t want to stand in a long line so there was also about a dozen vending machines I purchased from. I highly recommend this as a stop to or from Las Vegas! Good luck!

Great experience. 33 miles from south las vegas. 30 minutes travel. I went there to buy my mega million ticket, jackpot was 1.1 billion Expect long lines but moving fast. Service has improved considerably. There are 2 lines: one to pickup your numbers and second line is for pre-printed quick pick but only in muliples of 20 dollars (10 numbers). No change. Bring your water and umbrella or cap

Get here early. The line was around the back of the building by the time we arrived about 930. The sun was brutal at this time of year. They open at 10 most days unless the jackpot is really big. But yes, the staff was very concise. I do love the fact that you can use ma lines on the sidewalls for quick picks. You can also buy scratchers. You spend all of your money too! Great trip to state line with loved ones. Breakfast too!

On 12/29/2022 at approx 10am, I was helped by someone fantastic! I'm sorry I didn't get her name- she was toward the far right of the cashiers. She upsold me- and I'm so grateful because otherwise, as a lottery novice, I would not have known that I can play my chosen numbers for up to 10 times ahead (that's helpful because I live in Vegas so preferred to avoid the trip). I also bought a ticket on 12/27 and then, too, service was fast (even with 100s of people on line) and pleasant. My only suggestion is to PLEASE get a lock for the women's restroom! (and maybe have both restrooms available to all genders).

Can never tell what the hours are when there are big jackpot days. They should have a separate line for those who only need to deal with the self serve machines. They do have a hut outside on big jackpot days if you're willing to buy a set $20 quick pick ticket, but I've only seen it open once.

It’s so unfortunate that Las Vegas is the largest gaming spot of the world that has all types of games with gambling but does not have lottery tickets for people who do not play the slot machines or play the tables. If you live in Nevada you will have to drive at least a hour to get to the California state line to get a lottery ticket. This store is the only place that’s close. It’s a nice store with souvenirs and most of all the place to buy lotto tickets.

It's a store just inside the California border where they sell Lottery Tickets, I'm not sure how to review this. The staff is nice. They have a lot of vending machines for scratchers. Parking is sufficient. It's not hard to find, I guess.

Nothing special at this store, literally they only sell lottery tickets and scratch offs. It's so popular because these items are illegal in the state of Nevada and this store is technically in California. Lots of vending machines, otherwise a long line to get to the cashier.

This is the place to go to to get your lottery fix if you live in LV! The employees are nice and helpful - it's just the other patrons that can get rude and pushy because theres usually a line regardless of the time of day. What's really convenient, though ,is that there are electronic machines that you can use to pick your numbers, so you won't have to wait in line if you know what you're doing. It's also nice that they sell drinks and alcohol, and furthermore they also have signs everywhere that will tell you the current jackpot value of each type of lottery drawing.

Glad there is a lot to place close to Vegas roughly a 45 minute drive from N. Vegas. Las Vegas needs to add lotto to the state. I know it's the gambling capital feel they're missing out on the opportunity to capitalize in multiple markets. Thank you Lotto store located in Primm.

Primm is one the world's busiest lottery stores. The store actually lies in California, as it's about 50 feet into the California state ...They get you in and out as fast as they can. 2 hour lines can wrap around the store and down a side road on "Large Pot" days. On regular days you can be in and out in 5 minutes. Due to High Jackpot amounts guests must be in Line by 3pm to purchase their tickets before the Lotto Store closes

The only place in Nevada to get lotto tickets. But they are extremely clean extremely fast and extremely professional. They are very knowledgeable on the Lotto and are willing to help whatever the problem. Security always does an excellent job and very nice and very professional. WARNING. These are pics from MLK weekend. The Lottos were past 700 Mil. You couldn't see the end of the line. It was literally 1/2 mile away. It took Me 5 hrs in line, but it actually went pretty quick. Unfortunately, due to C-19 Rules, they can only let do many in at a time. So, a great suggestion, get there way early.

The line was extremely long, but once inside you have time to do what you stood in line for 4 hours to do in 5 minutes...or however long it takes you. Friendly enough staff. Ugh mega is at 1.6 billion right now. Lets hope all that time pays off. I wish it were closer to Vegas.

Slightly busier than normal, may be due to Powerball rising close to 300 million. The lines moved fairly quick but the space those aisles is a bit too large, makes it uncomfortable to try and get scratchers on the wall where the entrance and exit doors is located. Customers waiting in line kept bumping into us. 5 ⭐ if they made getting scratchers more roomy. Other than that. Everything has remained the same for years.

I don't recommend this place. But I will after I win a bundle. It's very busy if you intend to enter the building. If you need tickets redeemed then wait until this huge POWERBALL pot is gone. If you're ok with preprinted tickets with only 10 games for $20, then there's a plywood shed in the parking lot selling those tickets and you'll be on your way in less than 2 minutes.

Not enough signage to let newcomers know what line is for what. They should have an ATM outside so that people can get cash for the lotto tickets. One line offers lotto tickets for CASH ONLY. But the ATM machine is inside. But when it’s very busy, the security guard doesn’t let you in. So you can’t get cash from the ATM. So you can’t get cash for the lotto tickets in the cash only line even when the credit card capable line is closed.

My first time there and was amazed at the number of lottery machines available for selecting quick picks and scratchers. The sales cashier was very helpful in assisting me with filling out my lottery play sheet. The only problem is that the line for the windows are long and you should get there as early as you can. I was lucky, although the line was long, the cashiers were fast and efficient. A really good experience. Great customer service and friendly staff.

It was a long line when I made it there. But it moved quickly. It was weird that one of the ladies from behind the counter kept rudely yelling at people coming through the door "don't come in until we come get you." but there was no one manning the door. So people thought it was ok to come in. Other than that everything else was good.

How can you not give this place a five star? The people inside are very respectful, helpful and courteous. Even security is doing a great job. Like many of us from beautiful Las Vegas, NV, we travel here for our chances to win big. I’ve been here many times, been here when it was over a billion dollars, and over 1/2 a million dollars. I’ve waited for an hour and 1/2 before and been here at 5:30am to be the first one in line to be stuck in the back of the building. They don’t open until 10:00am, so when the money hits high, bring a chair and get ready to meet some interesting awesome people in line.

It's the only place to get lotto tickets in Nevada. But I give it 5✨ because of Service and the speed at which they operate. I have seen lines outside the store at almost a half a mile long, but the speed at which they operate, you get through it quicker than you would really think. Extremely professional, extremely fast, also really extremely helpful and they even have restrooms.

Closest place from Vegas to buy Lottery tickets, 45 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. Good place and right by the mall. The lines can be long at times though. You can drive further into Baker, California, or go the other direction, 27 miles into Arizona (1 Hr. 7 mins. from the Strip) for no lines and 3 stores to choose from.

Usually no issue here but today there security person (big huge blonde with a bulldog look) will not let people who are handicapped park in the store lot. She is just standing out there chit chatting with a silver vehicle pulled over! Had no problem last week to park in lot security guy moved the gate to let handicapped people in!

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of 5/19/2020, this location is still temporarily closed due to government lockdown orders; be aware that convenience stores further into California are open but may require face coverings to enter unlike most such establishments in Vegas. As others have noted, this is the closest CA Lottery outlet to Las Vegas, about 30ish minutes South on I-15. Reasonably convenient, but when jackpot amounts get very large (>$500M or so) keep in mind that EVERYONE in the Las Vegas area is visiting this one location (it's advertised as the highest-volume lottery retailer in CA for good reason). I've seen (and driven right past) lines around the outside of the building during such times; in that case I drive another half hour or so deeper into California to stop at a convenience store instead (Baker is the next town on the road). During "normal" times, the line can be long inside the store but does generally move quickly; there are self-serve kiosks available as well to buy tickets but redeeming them requires waiting in line.

It's the closest place to buy California lottery tickets. The next closest is about 30-40 minutes away in Baker. Whenever there's a huge lottery jackpot the lines are incredibly long. Expect to wait 2 to 4 hours or more. Be prepared for extreme heat in the summer or freezing cold in the winter. When the lines are that long, you'll be standing outside in the weather with no trees or shelter and the line wrapping around the building, through the parking lot, and down the road. Restrooms are kind of dirty and stinky. If you need to use the restroom, I'd suggest going to the the casinos down the road. Employees here seem indifferent. They'd chat hours on end with some of the regulars who seem to buy tickets there everyday. If you're not one of the regulars, just use the machines to buy your tickets. The employees are nearly as emotionless as the machines and they get annoyed if you ask a question about the lottery. One thing of note: They will stop cashing out scratcher winners about 45 minutes before they close. Not sure why they do this since everything else is still open.

This place is completely opposite of the definition of social distancing means. Pre-pandemic I'm sure lines out the door were common but just recently went to try out luck a d buy some scratches and some quick picks low and behold no regards for any CDC recommendations other than masks wearing. Patrons were at best arms-length. Go and enter at your own free will but be warned of what to expect. I went in and luckily the quick pick machine I used was empty and so I was able to quickly get what I need and get out but while I was setting my picks up a gentleman and his son (I presume) stood next to me so thwy can scratch off on their scratches and all I kept thinking is, dude, you can do this right outside where there is no one next to you. He was no kidding running shoulders with me.. Now im not much of a germaphobe but I have stayed healthy (a d thank God so has my wife and child) mostly because I avoid large crowds. Enter at your own risk I say....

The store is only open until 5pm. The line extends around the building in order to keep safe distance between customers. You must wear a mask. They had a table with lottery slips and pens outside. The guard let's an equal number of people in as others leave.

I never imagined in my wildest dreams that places like this existed. It's in California, but on the border of Nevada. If you'd like to gamble go to the casino but if you want to strike it rich take the short walk to the lotto store. Lottery tickets to your heart's content. Scratchers? Yes! Fantasy 5? Yes! Mega Millions, you better believe it! You want a lottery ticket this is the place to be!

Road trip just to buy lottery, it's a straight run but last exit in Nevada, casinos on both sides of the highway, go under the highway and turn right onto lotto rd. The building is the only thing across the line on the loop, the California lottery sales outlet. Lines when the pot is high on Powerball and mega jackpots, vending machines for scratch off tickets and automated lottery terminals, line to multiple stations moves quickly. Friendly sales staff took time to help out on a jammed auto terminal, but it wasn't busy at 2pm. I can see where staff will be curt when it's a buying frenzy...

I would have given 5 stars, but they removed the machines that allow you to manually select numbers, draws, etc. They changed their hours and now they're open 10am to 5pm daily. People brought folding chairs to sit when they arrived at 5am. By 9am, when I got to the store, the line was already wrapped around the whole building. Next time, I'll just drive and extra 60 minutes and go to Baker. The staff are nice, but that long line is a real pain.

On the border with California, it is onlyn45.minutes from Las Vegas and a great spot to get your lotto tickets that can not be bought in the State of Nevada. The ticket line moved quickly and the sales rep was friendly. Check out the Fasion Outlet Mall across the entrance qhile there.

There was a line outside but people are very polite and kept a good social distance space between each other. They are limiting the amount of people that are allowed inside the store and have hand sanitizer available as well as tickets to fill out while you're in line outside so that you can be in and out faster.

Located in Primm on the California side of the state line (barely). All they sell are Lotto, scratch off tickets and a few soft drinks. The lines can be hours long when the jackpots are long. The staff is friendly, but one reason for the long lines is only about 1/2 of the registers are open at once.

It was clean inside, except for the bathroom. I had to become the plumber. I understand it's the staff's responsibility to clean the bathroom but there are things some people can do. The toilet was clogged and since there was a plunger handy, I unclogged it. Problem solved, for now.

Nevada doesn't have a lottery (go figure). So this store is literally a couple of feet over the state line into California. They sell California Lottery tickets and had a few coolers for beverages. Well I really like going here until the first week in February my wife and I took a ride to get some lotto tickets and scratchers. This is to the person that did this which I know you done it. I lost my leg in an accident being ran over by a truck, although rehabilitation to learn to walk on a Prosthetic I parked and a disabled parking in front of the lotto store as me and my wife gets out the car a strange person viewed us. driving from Vegas we had no problem everything was fine this person that watched us park seem to give a hateful look as we were parked in handicap spot to which my license plate has disable symbol getting tickets was fast and fun when we came out my tire was going flat, this person had slashed my rear tire. I have special tires so it cost me $ 400.00 dollars to fix and get back home thanks for that. Everything that happens to you. sir you will deserve remember that. Thanks

Don't go when either lotto is huge or you can wait up to two hours in line. Normally you get in and out in minutes. We avoid the lines by buying the maximum number of draws ahead, This for both Nationwide lotto's is 10 drawings. It's a fair drive there, so that way you only need to go every 5 weeks to stay in the action!
