This specific location is the crazy You never know what you're going to see or experience in the parking lot, let alone in the store location. Only reason I go is out of sheer I don't want to drive all the way across town for a better Walmart, laziness. The shelves are empty most of the time but it could be worse. Half of the "staff" Just get paid to pretend they work there, a quarter of the staff are very nice and helpful and try to make up for the last quarter, that try to win worst customer service awards year round. If you come here often, you pretty much know what you need and where it is, and then get out as fast as you can. If you go into it knowing all this, you can actually have a pretty enjoyable time. 🙃

Huge parking lot, massively wider aisles than any store I've ever seen. Big enough to carry just about anything you have in mind, yet customer oriented to help anyone with a question. Good number of self check out machines to keep the small buyers cycling in and out without waiting long.

Only problem I have with this store is they don't have enough employees and some of the foreign ones they have just walk around and you can't understand them at all. But everyone here is nice and they always are stocked up. Just long lines and employee issues

It was alright . They had everything we needed at this one .we travel alot and didn't mind big trucks either as long as they shopped and left when they were done .very few walmarts let truck drivers in to shop these days and my biggest thing is groceries and medications I have transfered from Walmart to walmart . Gotta have that insulin and blood pressure meds. Their are other walmarts I have to call to get permission to park to get what I need and leave. Trucker path app really helps to . I light up walmarts along the way see wich ones allow trucks and have my perscriptions transferred their. And sometimes the truckstops will let you drop a trailer only to go get medicines wich is nice also .

They do a great job under pressure! Sometimes you will need to have patience and during these times its best to remember why your there. Take the good with the occasional inconvenience. After all they have never disappointed on their motto! Save money, live better at Wal-Mart! Overall, I'm a very happy customer and a tough critic. Thank you always and forever. My ,Wal-Mart !

I had made a purchase through Walmart with a third party business. Wasn't what I expected or wanted. Directions were to return to any Walmart, free postage. I did exactly that and refund was completed within 1/2 hour. Just as easy as an Amazon return!

Have to say this is the worst Walmart I have ever walked in to. Such a lack of merchandise. And absolutely disorganized. Items that were very inappropriately marked for price not even in the isle they belonged in. And absolutely rude staff. Clean up your store and organize it appropriately please. It was decent. I went there at like 8am on a Tuesday... I was traveling and my wife's brush broke. So I drove down from the hotel. The one door to the bathroom items was locked. So I had to go through grocery. This walmart was overly abundant in employees and people stocking shelves at this time of day. It was quite peculiar.

Shop in your Sunday best or your pajamas. Either way, no one judges and you can find about anything you need. Groceries? Yup. Gardening? Of course. Forgot your underwear? You got it. Self checkout available too, with a new feature: WalMart Pay. Put a card on file in the app and use it touchless to pay. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the produce.

Nice place to shop with in Fargo but I found out that some items were a little pricey or almost the same price in Canada. But there are alot of items that you can't buy from Canada.

I am in town visiting Fargo, ND, and this Walmart went above and beyond my expectations even though there were not alot of registers open every employee that I encountered was extremely nice and not rude at all. The signs for each aisle made it very helpful to find all my items. All aisles were very clean and well organized. I will definitely be using this Walmart when I come back to Fargo, ND.

So this walmart is mediocre, the pricing of food is through the roof compared to their other half Sams Club, the pricing of non food items are fantastic. I have seen some items that have been opened and shop lifted unfortunately. Their electronic section should have a bit more variety as well.

Had everything I needed, but bathrooms were not the cleanest and the store was very busy. It was hard to get to where we wanted to go without stumbling on other shoppers. I like to get in and get out as quickly as possible in busy places and this was hard to do.

I absolutely HATE carts as a single person. I like a shopping BASKET as it lets me get around the store quickly without having to dodge pallets or people… This store doesn’t have them up front or doesn’t stock them. I saw many customers holding things in their arms which shows me baskets would be nice. NO BASKETS NO SALE here. I walked out empty handed. PS I feel the store was so busy you would get covid for free while you are at it. Not a safe environment at all!

Not my favorite Walmart in the world. So many products missing and not in stock. Many shelves in the pharmacy area were cluttered and in disarray. My preferred type and brand of yogurt was not in stock. I was very disappointed. I will do what I can to avoid this Walmart. There are two other Walmart stores in my community and I will be going to those long before I return to this location.

UPDATE FOR PERSONAL HELP. I'm disabled and I got myself to the car and realized my gallon of milk had fallen off the bottom. Since I took me a while to find my car. I had no idea where it was. I went back in the store and found the first person I could and ask them to. Please go grab me those gallon of milk. I have the receipt and I told him what happened. Sweet young man, David, said he could do it but he would have to check with customer service. Understandable. Instead of having to walk all the way to customer service, I saw someone that had helped me out before. She gracefully took care of it, David went and got my gallon of milk and even carried it to my car. I really wanted to give him a tip, but he would not take it at all. I really wish you guys would allow tips. For someone like me, it feels good to be able to do nice things for nice people. I don't understand why you don't let them have tips ever. Thank you, David! UPDATE. This is still true. Lines are ALWAYS too long. I want to throw in a good review for Cary at the self checkout line on Sept 1st, @1:45pm He was so nice after having a few things go wrong in the line while I was there. First, I came into self checkout with a VERY full basket. He went and got me another basket to load my stuff into after scanning it. VERY HELPFUL! Then someone spilled a bunch of soda or juice. He gracefully took care of that. Almost immediately, another person dropped a bunch of grapes on the floor. They didn't even TRY to clean it up. They just walked on by. The grapes got ran over by other customers until it was a mess. But Cary kept a smile (a little bit annoyed, but a smile,) KUDOS TO CARY !! HE'S A KEEPER!! Now I have to add Kim and Glorimar in the bakery and Alex in the deli. Since this review is so long. I won't give you the details, but they were definitely nice and did above and beyond call of duty on this one. Thank you All for the good service. Not all people are just nice as you are.

We have traveled and camped in seven states in the last 6 months, retirement is wonderful. Walmart is our go to place to resupply all of our needs. From camper equipment and chemicals, to clothing, to tools, to food and beverages we are always pleased with what we find at Walmart . On top of that, the best gasoline prices.

Walmart you need to step up. Where do I start. Well, the store was very cluttered with carts with items being stocked or pulled. Isles had these carts in the way. Items are out of stock or extremely low. Is this pandemic related? Then they literally had 2 check outs being staffed. You could do self checkout but that was extremely busy. Seemed like store was short staffed. I had not gone to Walmart in a while as we sometimes go to target but we figured since it was closer and mid day with not overly busy parking lot we would give it a shot. Maybe I will drive farther to target next time.

Eh. It's ok. Employees don't look thrilled to be there. Certain of them can be rude. Self checkout lines go rather fast, and work great. Aisles are sometimes messy, but not as bad as the one on 52nd street. It's average Walmart.

Store has a great parking lot and is clean and easy to find things. However i was very dissatisfied with the checkout. It should not take 20 mins to a half hour to buy 1 item. Of the 20+ checkouts no more than 3 were open. Its unacceptable i would never be a cashier at WM for under $20 an hour. Give them a raise for crying out loud

It was like your average closing Walmart. Slightly crowded, one cashier and mostly self check out available. Only downside of the self check out was there wasn't a single one that took cash at the time and they didn't have any signs that said that until it was time to finish the transaction and it was small.

The Walmart on 13th Avenue is a great place for basic amenities like food and drinks, as well as luxuries like electronics and jewelry, with often a good selection of other goods. Staff turnover seems a bit high, so some might take a bit to find something specific. 4 Stars, as it's a great place to go, but the selection could be bigger, and the good deals tend to change fairly quickly, so beware split second buys.

I went to the Moorhead Dilworth Walmart which is one of the more cleaner and friendlier Walmarts in our area. They had what I needed which was a few technology items and personal stuff. Employees are helpful, you can understand them when they speak, and the shelves are stocked. I rather go to this Walmart or the one on 52nd in Fargo. Stay away from the Walmart on 13th avenue in Fargo! Just like most Walmarts these days everything seems self-checked out and there's one person actually who will work the cash register. I had a very full cart and ended up kind of with a sore back after lifting, scanning, bagging, putting back into cart but at least I could mind my own business and everyone else can mind their own. So if you're looking for a Walmart in the Fargo Moorhead area I would recommend this one as well as the one on 52nd.

I avoid this place as much as possible. Too many issues. This trip did not disappoint. Apples rung up nearly double the posted price so had to wait for someone to come and correct the issue for the cashier. Glad I paid attention as I have had previous issues on bulk apples not ringing up correctly at Walmart.

Every Walmart is better than the one in Thief River Falls, Mn. This was my first time in this Walmart and they had everything I needed. Someone left with stolen items. Watching them shuffle away from the greeter was added entertainment.

My wife and I went there to get some supplies and when we got to the register to check out there were no clerks to check us out. So we went to the self check out. If there is to be check-out clerks why should they leave and have us use the self check outs? One of these days we are going to be using credit card check outs and there will be people that don't have credit cards to use. That sucks.

This Walmart is always hit or miss with me. Usually when we do go to this one, it tends to not have at least one of the items we are looking for. They definitely are lacking in some of the art supplies that we might grab as a quick pick up at other Wal-Marts. After the holiday season they took right until the end of January to re stock shelves in departments other than grocery. There have also been times (multiple times) that we get stopped at the door, and I see many groups behind and in front of us that don't get stopped.

Very dependable on having what I want and need, always stocked and decent prices for most items I shop for. I would say they could do better with services and staffing and attitudes, but its not terrible and I am sure it's not a blast to be out risking your life to work at a place thats filled all the time with people and chaos and germs & etc. Keep doing good Walmart! I expect you to let me down, but still never have much problems and can always find what I need. Whenever its convenient. The worst Walmart, but MY favorite. Coming in close with Dilworth location which i like as well, just saying. 5 stars 🌟 may change one day but for now its like 95% a necessity to my living, and needs, more than any where else. Couldn't live without one. Wouldn't want to! Thats my opinion.🤫

This used to be my favorite Walmart in the Fargo/Moorhead area, but not so much anymore. I realize there was a "Pandemic" that affected the "supply chain", but nothing gets restocked in a timely manner it seems. On top of that, purchasing seems to go off an old forecast and doesn't adjust to demand.

As far as Wal Mart goes this is a four star, a bit busy at times but then what Wally world isn't?? The pace is quick and you get in and out pretty fast too which is good. Like always more tellers please, so sick of checking myself out all the time!

This rating was only for this visit today and the reason it went from 4 stars to 3 stars. I went in looking for a new phone 📱 charger 🔌 for my Samsung android. The first guy my best friend and I encountered was I think a Latino or something, he acted as if he did not want to be there, uninterested in my concern, and basically brushed me out and waved his arms to say "it's over in that aisle. My friend started to make noise and got loud as well as making threats to just steal an item and leave. My friend had to use the bathroom, I took this time to find another employee. STACY, (with the tattoos) SAVED me, she was very personable, friendly, and made sure I had what I wanted even after I had to come back again to exchange the item I just brought for the right one. PLEASE HIRE MORE LIKE STACY, THANK YOU again, so much STACY 🤗

Busy place at this time of the year. Self checkout is good option if you don't like waiting. Also, if you want good storage containers, stay away from the pioneer woman brand. The lids are impossible to place on the containers and is simply not worth the 5 to 10 minutes of hell you are putting yourself through!

It was quite large. And seemed to have wide selection. Moreso than the one I usually frequent. Store looks nice, but their evening (8:30pm) staff during my visit are very anti-social. I tend to smile and nod my head when making eye contact, most of the staff would act like eye contact was not made and avoid any unnecessary interactions with guests/customers.

I really appreciate and respect how ethnically diverse this specific Walmart location is. How helpful the people at this Walmart location are, how hard the people at this Walmart work. Typically in a standard Walmart people just go and do their jobs nothing more, but at this specific Walmart I have come to find the people go above and beyond to help you as the customer. I have stood and watched even when people are racially profiled and singled out while working at this Walmart, and they still respected the customer and tried to help them with a smile on their face will doing their best to resolve the issue at hand. I wish more Walmart's had people this dedicated to their job, who were this willing to go above and beyond helping the customer, despite how they themselves might be treated by that same customer. It never ceases to amaze me the wonderful example that these employees at this Walmart set.

I had mostly positive experiences but this last one makes me never want to order delivery again and close my card. My food was supposed to be delivered between 7 and 8pm today. No communication. Nothing. At 8pm the app said they were still preparing my order. 8:30 rolls around and they are still preparing my order. I try calling at 8:15 and the phone just rings. No one picks up at all. I call the pick up department and they are so busy no one is there. No option to leave a message. After trying the system automatically transfers you to "customer service" where, big shocker, the phone just rings with no one picking up. I get it. Things are hectic right now. Walmart is an essential business. All I'm asking for is some common courtesy, take a few minutes to call and explain you're backed up, and ask if the delivery could be rescheduled or I could pick it up. When the whole pick up/delivery thing started there were emails that were sent out saying they were behind. The store closed at 8:30pm and now I have to wait until tomorrow. All I have to say is if they can't deliver it or attempt to make it right, I'm not shopping there anymore.

Prices are great, check out experience was smooth today. Only downer is the bathrooms. But that's all Walmarts....I mean, with all the $$ Walmart pulls in, they can afford to give their customers a more pleasant bathroom experience. Amiright?

Everyone was helpful and polite. Store was clean and all the registers were open. Huge store compared to my home store! I had to do a money transfer, and Rosi in the money center was very friendly and nice, and all 3 of the ladies there were fast and kept the line moving. I would have to disagree with the other reviews calling this a ghetto Walmart, my experience was a good one!

Everything you would expect from a Walmart Supercenter. We stopped in on our road trip because we know we will be able to just about everything we need almost guaranteed. This time they didn't have paper towels but the had nice quality napkins that took care of cleaning up after our lunch.

we spend a couple of hours today checking out Walmart and they have an excellent selection of clothes at really been prices in really good quality. They had all sorts of pharmacy items like Advil toothbrushes etc that were much better prices than in Canada. food area selling groceries is really good. I've got so many different types of things that we can't buy in Canada and I think the prices are still pretty good even with the exchange rate.

I have shopped there over twelve years ! at least once every two weeks ! from the time you walk in till the time you walk out ! They are very pleasant! and ask if you need help finding anything 😊 and they will walk you to where it is ! The greater at the doors say morning, and so do the rest of them they take time to talk to you to me it's a GREAT store ! THANKS WALMART FOR BEING THERE

I just went here for a small watch battery for a garage door, and the gentleman at the door directed me to a lady at jewelry who guided me to go to Interstate Batteries on 45th as they were low on batteries if they had them and I got just what i needed, thanks! I go here all the time for groceries and stuff, would recommend

I've never in my life seen a Walmart store as large as this one in such a disappointing condition. The shelf products (what was available) were every where like an earth quake struck. Watched couples steer their carts (unpaid for merchandise) to the front door but then chicken out during the final run for freedom at the last second and leave the cart in the way.. 🤣😁🤣 workers using shopping carts to put product on the shelf only tells me one thing, this store is doomed to fail miserably.

It was a Walmart like any other Walmart. I fought my way through the hordes of blue vests and strangers in order to acquire the necessary items for my day. At the self checkout, I had some troubles with the card reader. A helpful cashier sprite helped me to enter my card information manually so the payment could be approved. At long last I exited through the southwest door and back into the warm sunlight, which I feared i may never see again.

Before covid it was well stocked and plenty of employees. Now you have to go on a scavenger hunt to find what you need and 40% of the time it's not there. Staff is pretty nice but was understaffed which means long lines.

Go to this Walmart only because how close it is to me. It isn't the best experience. The staff is half nice and half trying not to be there. A lot of them don't care about their presence there. Door greeters rarely greet and just ignore you or stand there to check your receipt when you leave.

I'm not crazy about Walmart but they do provide great prices and easy access. I'v never had a problem returning anything as long as I had the receipt. CONS: Less and less of the staff speak very good English. Lines are always long unless your a vampire and can shop at night. Be informed before you shop. Don't rely on there staff for comparison shopping PROS: Walmart prices. HUGE selection of very affordable items. Grocery items include very hard to find American and Ethnic items. Find virtually anything you could need. Even if the staff speaks poor English they are always very helpful. SUPER PROS!!! Diane the cashier and Roger the greeter!!!! I go just for these 2 folks!! What amazing people. If you see Diane checking get in her line. If you see Roger when you walk in reach our your hand to shake and say "Here's the 5 I owe you" One of his favorite jokes. Bemidji Walmart is a typical Walmart store. To ensure you have good choices and stocked shelves you should shop in the mornings. This store has quite a large draw and inventory gets bought out often.

it's walmart, what else can i say? usually pretty overshopped and messy but that's purely on the customers and i empathize with the staff as a former employee there. you'll usually find what you need at an affordable price and it's very good for when you're on a tight budget

Good store. Found everything thing I needed there, very convenient location! One criticism though, the way they take care of the fish there is very cruel! Goldfish need a minimum of 20 gallons (+10 for each extra goldfish) and I see them swimming a 10 gallon with a bunch of other fish!

The staff members that I approached with questions were not excited to help me, and weren't afraid to let that be known. Other experiences range from better to slightly worse. The product selection and convenience is a redeeming quality. If you plan on making a trip here, it's best if you know what you're looking for and know where it is. Asking for help is often a big waste of time, and can put you in a sour mood.

If you ask them to open a lane for you they have to do it :) you may have to wait for them to count the drawer but if you walk in and simply ask them to open a few more lanes bam life hack

Everything was great...except all the self serve cashregisters were closed and there was. Only 2 registers open. (I was buying only one item) and waited in line 15 minutes while the doorman watched me go through the line...watched me pay...pick up my one item...place it in my cart...then Asked me if I had a receipt... So I told him "no I am Stealing it Der"... And walked to my car ... Drove home...and now I see Im under surveilance by Siri... Who asked me as soon as I turned On my phone... How did I like my trip to walmart supercenter. What the heck? You people are insane. I am never going to walmart ever again.

I would have given this place 4 stars, but I had to ask 3 different people (in the same department) where to find 1 item! I know it’s called "work," but it's also called "customer service!" Either train your employees to pretend to act like they want to be there AND learn where things are in their departments OR HIRE DIFFERENT PEOPLE...Problem solved! Other than that, good selection and lines were very short, especially considering what time we were there!

If you ever want to feel extra sexy. Just walk on in. I go there and anywhere else I'm a 3, but here in this welfare infested wasteland I'm a 8-9. The people tend to be built like whatever you drove there. So I suggest only picking up groceries. Prepare to wait in line because they only have 800 registers and only ever have 3 open. Avoid the bathrooms at all costs. But yeah, it's a Walmart. Just like every other Walmart around.

This is a very nice, clean, new Walmart in Grand Forks. The return process went very well, the lady was nice. I would like to see them have some sort of recycling cans since they sell so much stuff that people then turn around and put in the trash cans.
