Went here for first time looking at dog harnesses for my 2lb dog. They didn't have any in the style I wanted small enough so they took me to the back and got my info and they are searching for product they could bring in that is small enough. Above and beyond service for sure! They then answered some questions and gave advice about how I could help my dog gain weight. Lastly they gave me a bag full of treat samples for free so I could find some treats that my dog might like!!! Very friendly and amazing staff!

not to be dramatic, but this place is quite literally the best place i’ve ever been. the groomers groomed him PERFECTLY, exactly how i wanted it. Nicest people. I’ve never been to a more welcoming and just overall warm establishment. The owners are the sweetest people i’ve met and helped me tremendously. I stopped here once about 8 years ago and never forgot how nice and accommodating they were. Decided off the whim to stop in again a few months ago, and it is just the same. Every employee is knowledgeable and so kind. My dog has a sensitive stomach and would only be able to eat few choice dog foods. The products these guys offer are healthier and at a more affordable price. Couldn't be happier with this place!

1st time in this store (Euclid) today i gave 5 stars just for customer service i was greeted when i entered, greeted as i walked around staff asked if i found what i was lookin for..offered advice- and i felt that they cared about my pets issue -showed me sale items-gave my fur kids some snack samples ( and not 1 not 2 but half a baggie)i thought that was very kind and generous as we dont give store bought treats that offen due to not knowing whats the safest treat Will diffinatly start shopping for our fur kids here again. Thank you for the warm welcome and helpful/caring staff

This store is a good 15 minutes further than any other pet store around me but it is my go to when it comes to the pets. The staff and owners are very helpful, professional, and you feel like part of thier family while your in there. They have a good selection and have gone out of there way to get in what I use to get from other stores. They have a groomer who I plan to use that reasonably priced in store and they support our military with a discount. I strongly recommend this local business!

Great locally owned pet store. Stocks nothing but the most organic and healthy foods for your pet. They also have grooming services. I love the fresh treats you can bag up and pay by weight. Very cheap and my dog loves them. They also get some of the best and most durable toys.

I love their Loyalty Rewards program they have. When you buy a certain type of food for your pet, they keep it in record so you can always get the same brand every time, without second-guessing yourself. They have a groomer on site they sell a treats for your dogs cats and other animals. Always helpful always ready to assist in anything you need. If they don't have it they will help track it down and send you where you can go to get it even if it is a competitor. Truly a very pet oriented establishment.

I like that they offer free advice. They have always given away treats for cats or dogs. Great variety of foods for cats and dogs; and again, offer advice on the best food for you pet. I like shopping local instead of at the big box stores. Great variety of extra items, such as beds, and other items. They offer other services like boarding too. They have a lot of merchandise in what appears to be a very small store.

We stop by here for a few things: 1 being dog food & treats, 2 being cat food, and 3 being cat litter. The employees are always helpful, and will help carry food out to the car if you ask. They've also got a decent variety of dog toys, our dogs love the tennis balls.

This is the BEST pet store you will find. I have an older lab (13 1/2) that was having some diet and joint issues. When I went to the store they gave great advice and didn't try and sell me on products I didn't need. We also bought one of the amazing beds (well worth the money and have a warranty of a year). Needless to say this will be the only pet store I will go to in the future and will recommend it to anyone who will listen.

This is the place for Pet Food, supplies, and beds without any question. They love pets and kids, and will do pretty much anything for the people who shop there. We get our dogs food once a month, and we have ordered a custom pet bed, and it still going strong. We also get treats and chews from time to time.

I take my dog here for grooming, and treats. My dog is a total jerk when it comes to grooming. Nail trims become wrestling matches. The groomers here are FANTASTIC. They are so sweet to my dog, even when he is making their job a challenge. He is a little better each time we take him, because the ladies give him cookies. Petsakes is the best place to get high quality treats. They sell prepackage bags and bulk. I love this place.

Just stopped by to check this place out I usually go to a Dog Bakery in Ankeny and want to compare prices. They were a little cheaper on some of the items I get for my animals and a little more expensive on others so it just comes down to customer service. The people I interacted with were very kind however not welcoming. From the time I walked in the door until the time I left if I had any questions I had to find one of the employees to ask the question and sometimes that employee had to run down the question before able to answer it. It was kind of a hectic day so I will try again hoping it was just an off day for everyone
