Huge store. always has a generous clearance section of $2, $3, $5 & $10 items that are normally marked anywhere between $6-$50 bucks thats definitely worth looking thru. Generally better prices than hobby lobby or joanns for sure. Great location.

Always a great place for supplies and gifts. Staff is typically friendly and normally easy to find to ask for assistance. Sometimes it can be difficult or slow if you online a order for pick up, but that's all.

I love this store!! The customer service is incredible. They also have a hold policy that enabled me to get a big enough vehicle to bring my large canvas home. My visit today was extremely pleasant! I walked in and was greeted by a young woman who was diligently cleaning carts. I walked straight (well I had to stop at the cute things in-between) to what I needed. I actually found it quickly and it was a better deal than the one I had seen online the night before! Went to checkout and the line moved fast. The young lady that assisted me was so pleasant and helped me with my pickup purchase as well. Thank you for a nice addition to my day.

Have been buyong my supplies from Michaels for many years. Customer service, selection and corporate accountability are top-notch. Prices are better than Hobby Lobby, and better company policies too. Wish they had pricing closer to the dollar store on basic paintbrushes for kids.

If I'm looking for flavored oils for baking/candy making I go elsewhere because they're limited to mint and cinnamon-- no fruit flavors, ever. I go for the frames and art supplies on sale. Occasionally I'll find some baking supplies I'm looking for but during the pandemic there's been lots of empty shelves in that section.

I was absolutely blown away by their selection of resin craft supplies. It's not really expansive compared to, say, a specialty online shop, but they have way more than any other craft store I've visited. There were both UV and two-part epoxy resin in various sizes, as well as silicone molds made specifically for resin craft and several different custom mold-making solutions. They had so many nice resin inclusions as well, such as foil glitter and tiny polymer clay pieces, that are rare to find in a brick-and-mortar store. The price per item was similar though a bit more expensive compared to what you'd get at Amazon or Sophie and Toffee or Miniature Sweet, but with shipping taken into the question, I think I'd rather come here first for essentials and fill in any missing bits I have to have online.

This store is near my home. I like it a lot. Has a nice selection of yarns, and of course other craft supplies. I do feel they should have more workers on the floor to help answer questions, and for other general help. But, other than this they are very friendly and helpful when encountered. There are usually sales of some type going on most of the time. Definitely worth visiting.

Great place for anything hobby related. Michaels usually has a 20% discount, but the staff at the registers does not have a code they can scan. Instead you have to go to their website and point your phone to them to have it scanned. No big issue for me, but I have to deduct a star as I see a lot of elderly people without smartphones here that are not aware or unable to make use of this deal.

Me and my daughter make slime and other fun doodads. Great selection of fake plants, pictures, everything crafty. You can customize your home decor and make great cheap gifts here. Came right before closing and wasn't rushed at all. The girls guided me to what I needed. Great sales and coupons too.

This store is always clean and staff is always friendly. What I don't get is why some of their polymer clays and similar are so expensive. I can buy almost all of those things way cheaper online, have them shipped, and still pay sales tax; and pay well less than what the Michaels stores are selling them for. I guess it really is the era of the death of the brick and mortar store.

Granted, it’s four shopping days before Christmas, but I spent 20 minutes trying to find assistance in this place shortly before 7:00pm...finally a cheerful man who “officially” worked for the Arron Brothers framing in the back helped me find something on my list in the store. I wanted to use my 50% off coupon, but it turned out to only be good if I prepurchased online and picked up my order at the actual store...huh?? Whatever.

Great store. I would have given 5 stars if each time I visit, there is a huge line, and usually only one person working cashier. I understand staffing is challenging, but there should be support available to help people pay for their products, even if a manager needs to step up for just 15mins to help their team.

So, they usually have everything I need. However, their is rarely someone around to help. It appear to be a scheduling issue since I tend to go at non peak times. They do keep the place clean, and when you are finally able to find someone, they are pretty helpful. So in all, it's not a bad location.

Great selection of craft materials. I went in there for a few spools of thread in a specific color, and found a good selection. After calling all over town this is the only store that still carries sewing supplies! The employee who helped me was friendly and helpful.

I went here to asked about getting some unique things framed. 20 minutes later I was out the door having placed my order. Excellent creative staff, that helped guide my ideas and improve them. They have some software that let's you preview your order beforehand which was neat, but I must say that what they created far exceeded my expectations. Well, being excited for crafting and Michael's on a good date with money I couldn't have asked for more. Signs on the jewelry and said 50% off the watches were marked down to $4.47 how fun I picked up chalkboards painted containers and checked out the 50% off was only if you were certain member what was supposed to be $12 was 29th. It quickly turns sour I checked my receipt and promptly went back without question this girl was wonderful. I didn't have to explain anything to her she made me feel comfortable and welcome that was worth the experience. I will become the special member tomorrow but I learned a lot today. For that I will give them three and a half four stars check out girl I give her 5 she studying cosmetology

Went in looking for cross stitching or embroidery supplies, which were incredibly limited to say the least. Each time I go to Micheal's, and not this store in particular but EVERY one I have visited, it is pretty much the same story. I give up. It got 3 stars because generally the store was pleasant and tidy and the place to go if you are needing yarn, or framing, or seasonal decorations. I won't be bothering with any Micheal's in future.

They have a good selection and inventory, and there's always plenty of parking. I also always consider how easy it is to get around a store; Ikea rates a suck minus in that area. Anyhow, it is fairly easy to get around the store and things are stocked logically. HOWEVER. There is always, without fail, a huge long slooooow checkout line. Meh.

The best Michael's in the area. They have so much to choose from and the staff is super friendly. The Aurora 225 one is closer to my home but the Colorado/Yale store is so much nicer in every way. I go here for all my crafting needs except fabric (there's a Joann across the street for that).

Maybe it was the time of year. It was near Christmas the store and staff seemed tired. The products were not hung with care on the shelves more ransacked and picked over. Checkout seemed to take a long while, especially considering no one seemed to be making large or volumous purchases, and although the staff was helpful when you tracked them down they didn't seem to take much effort to ask if you needed help. It should be said I was dragged there and wouldn't normally have a need or desire to shop there.

Of the Michaels around town, this place is reliably the best. Come Halloween season they always have the most of the good stuff, and keep more of it in stock longer than other places. Its also where I go when I need more specialty craft products like gold/silver leaf, as the one nearest me (alameda) is always out or doesnt carry it in-store

Zaisy was our associate and she did an absolutely fantastic job! A discount wasn't working (details later) and she did everything she could do to avoid calling a manager. Complete kudos to her to try to problem-solve the computer issue. Another associate said that the computer has been giving them an issue for awhile and Zaisy kept apologizing about the situation - which we understood it was by no means her fault. Why the 3/5 then - her manager, Shanelle. She had SUCH a bad attitude to the point where the associate was apologizing on her behalf. I couldn't believe it. Shanelle kept saying - I have to go home on time, I have to leave with complete utter annoyance with the whole situation etc. Zaisy was doing her best to help the line and kept apologizing and Shanelle was talking down to her and I was couldn't believe it. "No, don't do it this way" "sighing in frustration very dramatically" "I have to do this first" - just very upsetting language and attitude for someone asking for help. I, for one, could not work for her. I overheard she had a bad day, but - sorry, you shouldn't be a manager with a bad day and give attitude to your customers and associate. The sign that they had up for a discount was misleading and was positioned incorrectly - and Shanelle just kept saying I misread it, but when I asked how - she just said it doesn't apply but wouldn't tell me which ones it applied to. I was not going to waste more time arguing over $1.50 (I know but I bought 6 of these items for the discount) but Shanelle did move the sign since (I believe) it could confuse other customers purchasing the same items. Shanelle has no customer service skills and, again, high praise to Zaisy for being a rock star!

This location is hit and miss. They've got what I'm looking for about half the time, which was the case even pre-COVID. The staff varies, too. Sometimes they're super helpful and other times they completely ignore you.

Fun place to go and let the imagination run wild. Take some classes, cake decorating is a really good class, even for us transplanted Southern Rednecks of which I am. A jar of Sweet ice tea, a couple knitting needles and Sunday football, all set. Now if the guys come over to watch football, put the knitting away until later.

this place is an okay michaels. The inside is what you should expect in a michaels- tacky, shiny, bright and constantly christmas. I feel like these hobby shops are all slowly shying away from the DIY spirit and leaning more towards premade decorative garbage, and this Michaels is no exception. Staff always seems a little overwhelmed, but they are super friendly and they know where everything is. Great job everyone!
