Based on the variety of products, well-stocked inventory on the shelves and fabulous sales, I absolutley LOOOOVE Michael's! However, the Crosshill's location is sorely lacking in customer service and problem skills, particularly when I needed help getting very large items bagged and to my car. I was told they didn't have any large bags and struggle to get my purchase to my car.

Nice helpful on phone. In store I waited 10 mins for cashier and mgr to get a price right. A product on the cash line shelve... you could see it. Jeez, had 15ppl backed up, when I stepped up there were 0. Store items well marked. Well stocked.

Awesome selection of craft supplies and very friendly employees. Their regular prices run a little on the high side but they compensate by offering rewards and coupons regularly. Sale items are awesomely priced. Store is always tidy and well stocked with a varied selection. Great place to find teacher gifts.

The wait was about 45 minutes but the Blueberry Mimosa and the Shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The Shrimp and grits were pretty spicy but still really good. Newer location with a wide variety of crafts, art supplies, home decor and framing. Much better selection to choose from than other locations. Cashiers were friendly and helpful. Always check on-line from current coupon availability which can run from 40% to 50% off a regular price item.

This store is consistently under stocked and understaffed. There is usually only one cashier, even when there are long lines. With that being said, they do tend to run good deals and have plenty of coupons, so the prices turn out alright!

I have bought so much stuff here through the years. Make sure you download the app to get access to coupons every week. Everything I've gotten has lasted, was good quality, and ended up looking lovely when I was done. I'm so glad they are so close by. I go at least once a month.

This is my favorite Michael's to go to in town. Definitely above Harbison. It's relatively easy to get to and I've never fought traffic like I do at Harbison. The inside of the store is your standard Michael's and everything is well organized. The employees are very courteous and helpful if you need anything. I frequently run to this one to get a ball of yarn for my wife and it's nice being able to depend on getting in and out quick.

Neat and clean. Staff was friendly and answered my questions. Great deals on breads and jewerly making supplies. I just wish they had more of a selection, a larger variety of breads and charms. They had the vinyl needed for creating shirts they can be used with cricut and craft kits for children. My experience was pleasant.

I frequent this store and like that the merchandise is always rotated so there are new things to browse. I buy a lot of vinyl from here- they have a good selection. We have attended many of the Saturday craft classes with- they are super cheap and a great way to get the kids out of the house to do something fun.

I love Michaels! This location is always nice... if you plan to run in on your lunch break, be mindful they have fewer registers open mid day so the line may be a little lengthy. But the staff is so sweet, who cares! Lol

It's basically like every other Michaels however much better than the one by the base in terms of selection. But my issue is a lot of stuff has no price tag. At least not one you can easily find. Like the resin and clay.

I've been to a lot of art stores, a lot. This particular Michael's is pretty good for the area, It has a much better selection of paints paper and canvases than the Hobby Lobbys in the area and a pretty good craft selection. Folks working their frame department are very good they just don't have a very big selection of mats which can be frustrating if you have something specific in mind. They have a pretty big baking section and a wedding section so if you're looking to DIY a small reception or family gathering or birthday this is kind of a one stop shop. They have some icing and some toppers but obviously they don't have cake mixes or whatever you'd have to get that at a grocery store. If you're looking for something for a circuit cutter or cricket cutter they have a section and they have rotating seasonal options if they don't have what you're looking for try the Joann's fabric in West Columbia, Or one of the Hobby Lobby's between those 3 stores you should be good.

The store was organized despite a huge markdown sale. The best partnof the trip was the checkout and the very helpful and pleasant cashier. The cashier made the stire experience great and we will be shopoing at this michaels from now on because of the lind helpful cashier.

What's not to love about Michaels?! As a crafter, I find what I need there and the staff is pleasant and helpful. In my last visit, I found out that Michaels is pet friendly - it was 108° with the heat index and I was looking for a place to get out of the heat with my dog. I think he loves Michaels now, too.

I love Michael's. I didn't get to decorate the way I wanted, I ended up in the Hospital got out to late to decorate Gravesites. I almost died. I was at the Hospital almost a week. Seeing my Family meant the World to me. I feel on the Concrete Christmas Night. On a knee that was shattered in to 5 breaks back in January 2014. I hurt today. Doctor tomorrow.

The prices typically in South Carolina are outrageous and you usually have to shop around (even on used goods, scandelous!). Micheal's in Columbia compared to Johanns Fabric, beats its competitors in a land slide. Also, the sales are true and they do not undermine you At the register. There products are amazing and inexpesive, especially in bulk. A great place to find a gift for someone or of course your own DIY craft project. There is a family room if you want to have a craft party or meet up, you can even use it to take a break and nurse your little one. Thumbs up and thanks for bringing me a water. Cheers
