Today they were having one of their big 1 day sales. We bought 4 pair of shoes, 8 flannel shirts 2 pairs of jeans, 2 blankets and two dress blouses along with some fall decorations. Our total came to $138. FOR THESE NAME BRAND ITEMS. We bought every item at atleast ½ off or at considerably more off. Great customer service.

What a varied selection! This is definitely a place with a wide selection of goods. Clothing. Cookware. Home goods. And more. Everything is pretty tightly grouped, so wheelchairs may need to stick to the main aisles.

I couldn't find my size, found clerk, he led me to the items, I asked for a size , he found 2, I said I'll take both and thanked him. I had a buggy, but I don't think he saw that I was handicapped. I'm old and looked for a place to sit to wait for my wife, but the seats at the front door had been removed leaving only 1 two-seated bench, both taken. There were benches outside, so I took the 2 pair of pants back where I got them from so I could go sit outside and when my wife finished shopping I said, Let's go!!!

I love Hamricks. Tuesday is senior discount day. The only thing I don't like is there is not much isle room. Store seems too small for all the stock they have in it.

HAMRICK'S is my go to place for almost any clothing I need to purchase. Number one on my list is their Shoe Department. I'm on a fixed income, so I have to be careful with my money. HAMRICK'S is easy on my budget. Tuesday is Senior day, so that's when I usually go. (They even play the music of the 1960's on Tuesday! Nice touch HAMRICK'S!) The people who work at HAMRICK'S on Bush River Road are VERY NICE & HELPFUL. But, last time the lines to check out were at least 4 times as long as usual! I left w/o my purchases. Bah Humbug!

We enjoy shopping here for the great clothing and shoe selection at affordable prices compared to other department stores. The sales save you money. Also,there are sheets, pillows, and comforter sets at discount prices. Some kitchen items are available too. We always enjoy looking through the entire store. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy talking with the fellow shoppers who are helpful as well.

Sooo many items - household items, small kitchen appliances, linen, towels, outdoor items, lots of home decor, pet items, a few art supplies, toys, snacks, toiletries, Beach wear, hats, jewelry, lots of clothes for men, women & children, shoes, lots of "As Seen on TV" items, etc. Really great prices. I got a pair of Clark's sandals - the original price on the tag said $55.00, the reduced price on the tag said $21.99 & at the check out they further reduced it to $15.99. Some items are reduced even more than others - I imagine it depends on the brand. Best to scan your item yourself at the price check points they provide to see if it is even less expensive than what the tag may say but it still may be even less by the time you go to the check out line. It does take time to try & look at everything they have but it is fun. Clean store & rest rooms, fitting rooms, very nice staff, quality items, several manned check out stations - the line moves fast. Unfortunately there are no electric riding carts for the handicapped to my knowledge. My daughter & I really enjoyed our recent shopping day together. Love going to Hamricks!

Visited Hamricks fir the first time ever. WHY WHY WHY have I never heard of this place. I didn't purchase anything, doing some window shopping. The variety of things was amazing. I'm assuming it's one of those overstock stores with good quality items. Not too many known name brands but the quality of the material in conjunction with the Hamricks price vs the actual brand ... kudos. I'll be back. They have all kinds of stuff guys check em out...

As usual spectacular. They had exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price, including some very unusual items, like a mini cast iron pot my husband wanted. They always have a sale going. I spent 80$ and walked out with what would have cost me double that at even Walmart.

Good prices, a bit of a line for checkout, but there are plenty of cashiers. Good prices, but selections are somewhat limited. If you've been to Marshall's or Steinmart, this is very similar. Good prices on clothing. They also have housewears and snacks. Sort of a hodgepodge of things, but I got a pretty little cardigan for $5, so I left happy.

I love Hamricks store overall! Great buys and sales! Great selections! I love that the store is closed on Sundays! But, the cashier tonight was grumpy and didn't speak to us. It was close to closing, but that's not an excuse for her attitude. She NEVER smiled! Four employees standing around and only one grumpy cashier at a register! Wow! Do the owners know this? I don't think they'd appreciate it at all!

Hamricks is sadly not what it used to be. Not in variety, quality of merchandise or happy friendly eager to help employees. I've shopped at Hamricks for decades. Sadly, if this had been my first visit, I'd probably not bother coming back. I will go to other locations before giving up on Hamricks altogether. Maybe it's just this store. Maybe even this store was having a bad day. But today's visit, well, I just wish I hadn't. I don't like having a bad taste in my mouth from Hamricks.

I love this store! I have never had a problem here. If you are unsure of a price, there are price scanners throughout the store. They are busy most of the time, the lines move fast, even with social distancing, they always have most registers opened. A great place to shop, and they accept returns with no problems as long as you have the receipt. Shoes are always on sale including name brands.

I had to go up front to ask someone to help me find something because there were 2 employees standing in the back talking to one another for well over 20 minutes. I didn't think I should have to interrupt their conversation to ask for help. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the person who did help me was great, the check out ladies are very nice, and the product selection & prices at this store are very good. This store needs to have sales clerks on the floor to help customers without being asked! The only people I saw on the sales floor were busy stocking or standing around talking to each other and ignoring customers!

I was not impressed with their handbag selection. Big names but poor quality bags....On the upside, all the clothing is super organized and up to date trend wise along with the classic styles. Pricing is fair. You can get a really good sale on a few items and feel like you are paying regular price for other items. All in all a good place to go when something you want is on sale!

Great prices. Got my husband a suit for a wedding. The jacket was only $54 and his dress pants were only $29. His shirt and tie was only around $17. It was a great price for a very nice suit. Plus I found me a cute pair of Easter sandals for $29.

Excellent customer service. I was on vacation and purchased a pair of boots. After arriving home I noticed the tassel not being on one of the boots. I called Hamerick’s and they told me to send the boot to them and they would send me a new pair. I received the new pair in 5 days. Thanks Hamerick’s!

Hamricks is loaded with great clothes, home accessories, as seen on TV items, and the best shoe collection! Be prepared for long lines. I would recommend bigger buggies and faster checkout lines. The flow would be better routed via the men’s section. It’s hard to get in the entrance because of the line and some people saw the line and turned around and left.

Man, they say the deals will only last a day but it's pretty much always like that. We got clothes with the quality of ross with the price of goodwill. I loved the cashiers. They all were very happy to be there and even joked with me. I'll have to come back when I have more time to look at clothes.

This used to be one of my favorite stores because of the great bargains. Their clothing, for example, had retail price and Hamrick's price plus usually was on sale or marked down. Now it's the retail price with sales and mark down racks. They do have a large selection of "As Seen on TV" products, costume jewelry, men's and women's shoes, a small children's department and much more. The services varies from person to person. It's definitely worth a visit

Stopped at this Hamricks to get a top to match a skirt. Hamricks does have a variety of clothing, but I had trouble sorting through the racks because it is very cluttered. The prices was reasonable. The check out was fairly quick and the store was full of customers.

Love this place they always have good deals on gifts and home decor. Dont go on Tuesdays though the old people are serious about their discount and will nearly bowl you over to get to check out. Glad to see they finally put up a rope system as that day can really be like football season trying to get to checkout.

Also a large section of as Seen on TV items and other household necessities. Even on the higher end lines of clothes their prices are always great. Don't forget to check out the clearance items which are always an extra 30-80% off their already discounted prices. Did I mention I love Hamrick's? 😁

I love this helmets it is one of my Goku stores they have some of the best deals that you'll find lots of mark down prices but good quality. I was able to pick up quite a few different presents for people and I just enjoy going there. It can get a little crowded but that just means that it's a good store to go to I recommend it if you're looking for good merchandise at a discounted price.

Wow! The prices, the selection, the unique items...it's always a delight to go in there. The only frustration, which is not even worth taking away from the rating, was that several things didn't have prices, but that's okay. This seems to be one of their special weekends, which I think they have fairly often, so there were some deep discounts. This beautiful bath towel pictured was only $8. They have so much Alfred Dunner (a relative's favorite brand) at about 1/3 of department store prices (and many times the size of the selection). Senior Day is Tuesday, 10% off. There are several, relatively short, checkout lines. @ If I lived here now, Hamrick's would be a regular (probably weekly) destination.

This store was right up the street from where my family dined while in town. We were very familiar with this chain so we kind of knew what to expect. I really was soooo stuffed from eating a half of a pound hamburger and fries that I didn't want to shop I just wanted to sit and digest my food like a giant anaconda. But my mother and brother insisted on browsing and see what kind of merchandise they had. They had a pretty good selection of things for men and women. My mother and brother did find items they liked and purchased. I was too full to even look at anything. From the summer heat and a swollen stomach I was so miserable. I don't ever want to feel like that anymore in life!!!! Once we were home my mother found that the dress didn't fit quite right so she returned it to our hometown's Hamrick's. They actually had the same dress there and she was able to get a better size. The prices were really reasonable and the staff was great. This store was pretty big and had many things in stock. We will stop here again when we are in town and when I'm able to look around and shop!!!

There are some good buys in this store but giving it a 3 star rating because of the hard to find pricing, narrow cluttered isles and difficulty maneuvering. If you like fighting to get a bargain then this is your place to shop.

You can always find great deals here. I bought 3 quality brand name dress slacks for $10 each. Izod and Haggar. The only issue is that items are placed on the wrong racks or not in the correct area for it's size. For this reason I didn't give 5 stars. I imagine atleast half it is due to customers not putting things back where they found them, but it makes finding the correct size time consuming. I also didn't buy the 4rth pair because although it was on one of the 5 racks with $10 slacks, they didn't belong there and we're actually $30.

Hamrick's is one of my favorite places. If your looking for as seen on tv or clothes and shoes this is the place to go. I did notice that a lot of the prices were priced way to high even at 1/2 off.

I love Hamericks! You can find so much here,good quality and good prices. They carry brands hard to find in men's pants and also found tall (38"×36") pants for 10 dollars. The tall I didn't find in the big and tall section, but the regular jeans along the wall.

Been all over and just happened to stop in at HAMERICK'S ON BUSH RIVER RD, COLUMBIA, SC and there they were hanging neatly on a rack jumping out at me screaming, "try me" and so I did. And they fit!
