Visited this location on 6-22-2022 and had the pleasure of being the recipient of excellent customer service by Quez. Quez was very knowledgeable of the store's products and explained in detail the purchase options for watch batteries. This franchise has a lifetime warranty for watch batteries. The store shelves are well organized, so products are easily located. While I was in the store, a flurry of customers arrived, and other employees stepped up to ensure all cutomers were taken care of. There were only two cash registers, so there was a little waiting time, but Quez was not flustered and manage to expertly assist several customers, answering questions as well, seamlessly. There was a spirit of camaraderie among the employees and helpfulness, which was refreshing and greatly differed from the Harbison store, which I have frequented often. Stellar customer service. A few caveats include: Firstly, surprisingly, the store was heavily fraganced with incense or candles, which store management might want to be mindful of in consideration of customers with allergies. Secondly, the store is located on a very busy section of Two Notch Road, and the parking lot is tiny, and there is only one entrance/exit, which makes it very difficult to navigate, especially when the parking lot is full. Otherwise a very pleasant customer experience and also reasonable prices, so I would highly recommend this store for your battery and bulb needs.

Brought my aging S9 in for a battery replacement. Great staff and great service seeing as it was same day service. Prices were surprising good too. Better than going to Verizon for a new phone. This model is reallu outdated so if this doesn't fix things is no fault of theirs. I enjoyed it. Recommended.

These guys are phenomenal, as always. The staff is extremely knowledgeable of all of their products, and once they understand your needs will go above and beyond to help you. That’s been my experience every time. Allow me to share yet another great experience I’ve had in this store. My iPhone stopped working when I plugged in the charger so I called them to try to schedule a repair. They informed me that the part was out, but that I may be able to charge wirelessly. I came in to get a wireless charger and see if it would work while I waited for the part to be ordered. The associate took my phone and took a look at it. He realized that the charger port was actually dirty, (I spend a lot of time in crawlspaces), and he cleaned it up for me. That fixed all my issues and probably saved me a couple hundred bucks. Every time I come to the store, I am met with Knowledgeable associates, who are Mastercraft level with customer service. It’s always a pleasure, and the guys at work here make batteries bulbs plus my only choice for cell phone repair and battery needs. Keep kicking tail guys!!!!

I just want to write a review for both Doug and Niko. They both gave me outstanding service on September 2, 2019, which was Labor Day. I arrived at their store at 5:30 pm. Their holiday hours were 8am-6pm. I ordered a replacement key for my Lexus. They both took the time out to make sure the key and fob worked correctly and explained the most affordable option for my purchase. The lock on my vehicle is pretty old. So Niko stayed until 6:30 pm after the store was closed making sure my new key worked properly. I told all my family members I have no problem going to Batteries plus in the future. They have excellent customer service and went above beyond of what is required to make sure I was satisfy. Thanks you guys.

Update,The Manager(Mat) called me(3 times)to apologise for my inconvenience,explained the computer glitch,that automatically invites,and schedules you,even before someone has an opportunity to check inventory,and even gave me a partial refund for my time and aggravation.Wow,they really went above and beyond what I expected.I will certainly continue to do business with them Went back to get a flashlight repair, figured it was a bulb,as I already replaced the batteries,no,bulb good It was a corroded contact,the manager took the part out back and ground the corrosion off,and it works like new,and wouldn't charge me for the service.This is the only place I will go for anything they do(car keys too) They exemplify the word Service !!

I am not sure exactly how many associates work @ this location but I had to be greeted by at least five of them during my visit a couple of weeks ago. It was really great to see that each associate took ownership of greeting each customer and doing their best to make the visit a pleasant one. I was replacing the battery in my mother's key fob & the entire process took less than six minutes. The gentleman who helped me told me that since we didn't have her car there to verify everything worked, to check it when we got home and let them know if there were any issues.

Its a good place to go to have some accessory for cellphone replace or battery replace but i did not have a good experience recently which i found out that the lifetime replacement for my cellphone screen protector i found out that its only for a year. But when i purchase it 3 years ago i think i was told it was lifetime replacement. I even have it replaced last year but this year it says its only for a year.

My phone would not hold a charge so I went to the Batteries + Bulbs location on Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC. The battery was checked and it was fine. The problem was with port that my charger connected to. The coat of repairing that problem was prohibitive so I bought a new phone. Since the old phone would not hold a charge I was still unable to transfer its contents to the new phone. I was told by the associate to bring both phones in and he would do the transfer for me. This was a long process. Matt, was very patient. The information transferred very slowly. Additionally, I needed help retrieving password information to a long dormant email account. To say he went above and beyond his job duties is a great understatement. While waiting I noted that the staff was courteous and never seemed rushed with any of the other customers. I appreciate the help and service they provided me and I will patronize this business again and recommend them to others.

Went there to get a battery for my samsung s5. It was a very pleasant experience the guy tested my battery opened up a pack lemme try another battery which worked and solved my issue. He was really good after seeing the battery he gave me at 11% he opened another pack and gave me another battery with higher percentage of charge 55%. Explained lifetime warranty and honored the online coupon. I was very impressed.

I went into the store thinking I had to replace the battery in my phone after trying 2 different cords and chargers and nothing worked. But they tested the battery and found out it was ok. Today I had a Shark watch that was not working. I went to this store because that is where I bought the watch battery. Matt Livingston, the store manager, was able to tell me it was not the battery but the mode button was not working. He took it upon himself to open up the watch and reset the mode switch and correct the time. I tried to pay but he was insistent that it was ok and he would be happy to help me again. Tears came to my eyes as I told him people were not always this kind. I thanked him and I will be back because the customer service is excellent. Please go to this store for your battery needs and you will get great service.

They get 5 Stars. I had a button my Galaxy S5 break and they replaced it for me without charging me. I was expecting at a minimum $5 which would have been fine with me. It only took them about 30 seconds to fix but other places might have charged me. I have come there before to get batteries and they always give me good service. I will keep coming back.

I have made several purchases from this store and have never been disappointed. I just bought an 8 pack of Lithium Ion AA batteries and paid a little more than I would have on Amazon, but I like the service there and if I have a problem with any of them all I need to do is take them back and they will replace them. I took another battery to them and they soldered in a new battery and broke the device. They bought a brand new dieice and replaced the whole unit rather than just the part that broke, so I will never go anywhere else for batteries or chargers, etc. Good people and they stand by their work.

Two men there were both very helpful in helping me buy an Apple battery charger when they did not have one. Today, they tried two different batteries on my wife's Tag Heure and then helped me to find a repair place. I would go there first for any battery needs in Columbia. I am 74 so I get used to getting brushed off. They did not brush me off but treated me with dignity even though I did not need to buy anything. Hard to find a place like this in 2017. Tops in service as far as I care. 5 stars.

I have always had a good experience here. I came in today and told the salesman I need a new battery for my key fob. I handed my fob to the salesman thinking he would need to see what size battery and he asks if I want a life time replacement for $21.00 or just a no replacement battery for 12.00. I said no, and that I need another battery for my other fob. He said I will have to pay for installation which is for the one he was working on. My 2nd battery was 4.95 so its 7.00 installation fee that I wasn't asked if I wanted. I just tell you this so if you hand it to them they dont install for Free!

Easy to purchase on line at 10 percent discount with pickup in local store. Bought $259 dollar 100AH Duracell deep cycle battery and $39 Duracell 0.75 amp trickle charger. Took about 25 hours for the charger to top off the battery (cool). So far, the only thing I am disappointed with is that this battery is only warranted for a year, while significantly less expensive automobile batteries. This battery will be used to power a CPAP on camping trips. I am still searching for a portable ammeter which will tell me how much charge has been used. UPDATE ***** Have used battery several times, Found it will power two CPAPs for 3 nights. The final voltage after the last trip (2 nights) was 12.61 volts, so the battery had a good ways to go and might have gotten another 2 nights. I left the CPAPs on all day as I forgot to disconnect them when not using as I normally do. Very pleased with the quality of this purchase.
