This is the best JCPenney I shop at, the store is always clean and organized. They have great clearance racks as well as fantastic sales. The customer service is also great, never wait very long to check out or pick up either. They also have a very large stock of merchandise. I highly recommend this store in ford city mall. It does also have its own entrance.

I got sweaters, pants to match, warm jackets, boots on sale, sales on practically everything. I even opened a charge account with them. This store has really changed. Loved the shopping experience

I don't usually leave reviews but I just want to share our shopping experience here at JC Penney. One sale associate helped my husband finding the right suit and tie that we needed on weekend. She really passionate on her job and I couldn't believe how patient she was. She gives opinions and she's very knowledgeable. After on suits section, we go in women's section. It is filled with beautiful women's dresses and clothing that is colorful, fashionable and perfect for our event this coming weekend. The clothing is reasonably priced and most times the store offers a 15% to 25% discount. Great products with good value for the money.

Had to pick up a online order. It's confusing the car and the store pickup! The website said by the shoe dept to pick up in the store. I had to go and ask a store associate, go up the second floor and had to stand long line to get my order.

JC Penney is an old throw back. That have a 50% sale on home and window items. We ordered 8 wooden blinds for our home. Have 7 of them up and waiting on the last one, which is a special order size. Wooden blinds look so much nicer than the vinyl ones. Glad we switched out. Thanks JC Penney.

I giving the pick up desk 5 stars they were pleasantly friendly and quick with their service....but as for the ladies restroom 👎👎👎👎👎 it was very dirty , stalls had small puddles of god 🙏🏻 only hope was water and not urine...they definitely need to maintain the cleanliness more attention especially since we are still in a pandemic ....🙄😐💨

It was kinda difficult. I went to pick up a order. I'm struggling walking with my cane. They sent me down one way, then another way. When I got there the cashier I did meet said "oh, you have to go back, you past it " I told her I'm hurting right now and need to sit. She said ok. I asked do you have a place to sit? She said no. I walked some more and then it was only 1 thing. They should have informed me to drive behind the store for my pickup. It killed my enthusiasm for shopping there. Store workers needs sensitivity training on how to handle people with disabilities.

My in store pickup went smoothly. I was also able to make an exchange without my receipt. They used my debit card to lookup the purchase. I was also able to find a pair of teal dress pants that wasn't available 2 weeks ago when I was last there. Overall a good shopping trip.

The store is neat and clean. What I don’t like is the checkout area. The checkouts are sometimes empty, you have to go the the other checkout area to buy the stuff. The staff is not really frank or helpful. But the cashier was nice.

Ford City is very good for in store selections. It is clean and organized. Sales staff, friendly and helpful. North Riverside should be more like the Ford City store. Would like to see a bit more Liz Claiborne wear. It is downsized. The clothing is better quality than most.

The store has great deals..rewards program and a huge inventory. It is one of the last great department stores. However Ford City location is laid out crazy and I get turned around in there constantly If you can use jewelry counter as your center point you will find your way back to parking lot. The cash registers are slow..not the staff.. Drapery department low inventory..Bedspread department awesome

My mother gets lots here too often. It's the only thing keeping Ford City alive. It has nice clothes for all types of people and a Sephora. The waiting line might be too long at times but you will find great clothes.

Not a bad store, just slow considering the Pandemic.I think those complaining have no patience.Right now,of course the fitting rooms are closed for safety.Right now there aren’t as many front line workers to go around,so you might have to wait a moment for service. And the prices are on line with every major department store still beating. If you want to pay ten dollars for a shirt or a pair of pants,Walmart and Target are usually right across the street.

4 stars. This place is fairly organized. Mostly due to the fact that it's in a pretty populated area. Lots of people coming in and out. Nothing too special about it. Large variety of sections from clothing to cologne to even jewelry and shoes. You can also walk in to the mall... There's an entrance so you don't have to walk outside.

In the Ford city shopping mall. Plenty for f parking, lots of sales, Optometrist department. You can have eyes examined, and purchase your prescriptioned eyeglasses and designer shades at a reasonable price. Hair salon on premise. Good sale going. Plenty of parking. You can grab a bite to eat on the inside of Mall.

I rarely shop at JcPenney, especially this location. The store is clean, and the employees are friendly...BUT they need more efficient cashiers. The last 3 times , on all three times, I stood in line for over 10 min. Today , they had 4 cashiers at the customer service area , with 2 people ahead of me and I stood in line for 14 minutes!!!!

JC Penny has changed a lot since when I first started shopping in the store. The clothes are not the same quality. They feel thinner. I purchase the same long sleeve tshirts each year (began 2006), now they feel thinner. The shoes are not the same either. They appear to be made of an inferior leather or vegan leather. The down coats have changed also. I am use to 80/20; now its 70/30. I don't like it. I am very disappointed in JC Penney.
