Walmart has got to be one of my favorite stores out there, I mean they have almost anything that isn't really niche or specific to a certain domain. Their prices beat most competitors aside from subscription stores. The staff are always friendly and helpful in my experience and self checkouts are convenient if you like them.

They have a massive selection of clothes, produce and general food! They also have a great selection of TV's, computer's, vacuum's, furniture, school/office supplies, automotive maintenance, paint and paint supplies, pet food and toys, children's toys, movies, pharmacy, beauty supplies, kitchen items and accessories, gardening items and so much more! The only way to explain it is to go to it and see for yourself! Staff is pleasant and helpful too!

Self checkout is not user friendly. If you something scans wrong it takes to much time to get an associates help even though 5 or more employees around in that section. Rarely a lane for employees isle open. Their whole business was developed around "Every Day low pricing" isn't always true, because there are other stores offering same product cheaper. Lastly. Isles are to narrow when store employees filling online orders. They are actually very rude acting as they come first; when it should be customer first. It does have decent clearance isle but quite a few times items aren't really a good deal.

Coach Jay and his team were fantastic to deal with. Our two small local businesses purchased 95 turkeys to donate to a local food pantry and he and everyone in the meat department were so easy to work with. We had never done anything like this before but everyone made the process so easy. Thank you to you all!

The 2 Walmart stores in Cheyenne cater to different clientele. This has good prices and a decent selection of food. The store is clean, with lots of self-checkout stations (which I prefer).

We do most of our shopping at King Soopers now. Walmart fruit and vegetables go bad way to quickly, especially the fruit. We don't like the flavor and texture of the meat either. We still use the store for other basic essentials. We've ran into employees that seam bothered when you ask them something. Overall, we go there when we have to.

Not the place to go if you want to get in and out quickly, bring reading material. HOWEVER, they do know how to work those yellow clearance signs so three stars for that.

I don't care for self checkout. It always takes forever and an employee has to come and help most people anyway. Update:. Today there were checkout clerks available and I was able to have them take care of the checkout and things went very smoothly and the products and prices of the items I got were very competitive.

It takes a long time to get some help at the sporting goods section of the store. The one on del range is almost not worth going to if the product you want is locked up behind glass. I've had to wait until the next day to drive all the way back to the store... No one had keys. The one on Lexington was actually great. Outside of that its a challenge to shop when employees are always stocking shelves. I miss the late closing times. It was far less congested. It's a real pain for the employees stocking shelves, too. I'm sure.

The selection of groceries and merchandise is so much better at this store than the Laramie store. That I make the 50 mile trip to get things I cannot get and they refuse to stock at the Laramie store. Especially for Gluten Free selections. The staff is also more helpful. The attitude of management at this store is very user, customer oriented.

Love this store. I was a former employee and it is still my go to choice. Employees are friendly and very helpful. I use all services in the store. TLE for my car needs. Those guys are fast and knowledgeable. Pharmacy for my meds. They always explain any new changes to me. The grocery side always has my favorite snacks. Amazing job!!

Great supercenter, Courteous employees. It is considered an “academy store“ which means it is a training store, so you should be able to expect above standard service. Although, I might be partial, because my wife and son work there as well, and I am starting with a merchandising company that services that Walmart and the other newer Walmart on the south end of town. 😉 but, yes, it is a nice Walmart.

I think Walmart is generally a good store. Recently when I have been shopping I have found many shelves bare. I suppose this may be due to supply chain issues that the entire country is trying to overcome. Walmart almost always has the best prices for groceries. And their fuel prices have been better than Sam's Club. Try to figure that one out. And one drawback is self checkout. I don't mind doing my own checkout for smaller purchases but when I have a cart full I would like to have a checkout person there. This is almost impossible nowadays. I wish they would change that.

This Walmart seems to be stocked well with some outages and has a good appearance overall. There is usually an associate available. So far we have found the staff very friendly. The access to the parking lot is curvy and not so easy to navigate when traffic is busy.

What can be said about Walmart, it's a bit of good and bad in life. Everything and nothing. You will find it or not need it. The only thing is Walmart needs to hire employees and not have the customer doing the employees job, I met Sam Walton in 1988, while working Security at the Wheatrige, Colorado Walmart. He would never have put up with this checkout system. The employees were they blood line of Walmart back then.

Pretty good. Easy layout, lots of selection and good choices. This is actually a 4 and a half thumbs up but that's not on option. The only reason it's not a 5 is because when I asked an employee a question they didn't know the answer and we're very dismissive. Luckily, another employee came over and was very accommodating in her help. She walked us all they way to what we needed and even found the brand we wanted. I wish I'd gotten her name. But she was about 5'2", blonde hair in a ponytail and glasses. I hope you find her and let her know how great she is! I'll have to pay better attention to her name if I see her again.

Went Christmas shopping for my kids found most of the items that I wanted. Accept an Amazon gift card. They tell me Amazon is going to Major competitors and then you're not support them at all. I believe this is not open market or open capitalism competition is good for businesses and if you're going to sell gift cards to almost everyone else you should also sell gift cards this evening they're competitors.

Scan and Go is great technology, but the customers still struggle using it. 1 manned register and the rest closed. Plenty of specials and merchandise to stock your pantry. It's pretty impersonal and some help when you really need it. Some areas still look trashed and unorganized but whose house isn't.

I wasn't feeling well this morning and accidentally left a bag of stuff I purchased at the checkout. I got all the way home (a 30 minute ride) before I realized I didn't have everything. Customer service was wonderful. They couldn't find my bag at the checkout, so they told me to bring my receipt and they would take care of me. I was able to replace all that I had purchased at no extra cost.

The store has been remodeled quite well. Now it is a matter of navigating it to find things. Otherwise pretty cool. They utilized space for items. Nice laptop, phone and electronics section. All and all much better than it was before.

While traveling through in our RV, we had to stop in Cheyenne for the night due to high winds. Always happy to find a Walmart, we pulled in and saw signs that said "no overnight parking." We looked at various RV parking sites online and found conflicting answers about RV parking specifically so we figured we'd just go in and ask when we did our shopping. The folks at the customer service desk were very friendly and said we could stay overnight as long as we were parked out of the way. ***Huge relief!*** We're on our way home from an 8 state journey and I have to write that this was the friendliest, best kept Walmart we've seen. Even the customers were friendly! The shelves were stocked, the store was beautifully well lit and clean, the aisles weren't congested, and they had a great selection of touristy items so we added a mug to our collection. Road weary and ready to be home, we so much appreciated the hospitality. I sincerely hope the local managers share our appreciation with their team, they obviously go above and beyond and deserve to know it's noticed.

Second time I have done the online shopping/car pick up at this location... clearly I did something wrong both times. After checking in, I waited 23 minutes today and 18 minutes the last time. Frustrating but saved time rather than doing my own shopping. I will do it again while on that side of Cheyenne. The clerk was friendly despite the delay and showed some empathy to my situation... overall it was a good interaction but I just dont know why I have to wait so long...

I am not a fan of Walmart but it was surprisingly nice. I found what I needed and checked out easily. The three yard lights in the front of the store are all burned out and someone is going to get hit by a car. We could not see the pedestrians as they were crossing the street.

I frequently visit this location as I use to live in Cheyenne. Now I live about 100 miles away and I had to come to Cheyenne on other business. While in town I stopped in the to do some quick shopping being the day before thanksgiving it was busy but I found what I needed did a little looking around and talk to a couple of associates about various items they were polite and helpful and while walking through the store I noticed that even as busy as it was the store was clean and everybody seemed to be having a good day. I know that's not always the case I too have difficult days from time to time but this day it didn't appear anyone was struggling. In closing I'll be back.

They have done a lot of remodeling and rearranging at this store since I was last. I got a small plate of food at the deli, it was a lot more than what I was expecting at that price. Though the General Tso's chicken was not that great, for a spicy dish it was very bland. They have increased the number of self checkout lanes while reducing the number of live cashier's. Also thier checkout don't have Google pay.

You need more cashiers working!!! It is ridiculous that I spent more time in line to pay for my purchases than it took me to shop. Otherwise decent experience, but I will take my business where they have cashiers available for quicker shopping any day. The money saved doesn’t equate with spending twice as long in a store because they fail every time to have enough cashiers

Good place to shop and almost stay in budget. Testing their watermelon, it is kind of sweet, solid but cut given time, it is good. I brought crosses for Memorial Day, a time for the kids and grandchildren to show respect to those gone but not forgotten. Mother Day is also important so a number of mothers should be remembered and respected!

It is your average Walmart. But the produce section was small and not well stocked. I went to get some fruit and the selection was slim. In particular the individual lemmons, they were at least half the size of normal lemmons and looked half dried out. I had to get a bag of lemmons which looked good but were more expensive and more than I needed. Updated: Things appear to be looking better. Updated: I do not care for them removing check out lanes with checkers for the self checkout lanes. They are not paying me to do my own checking.

This Walmart is set up differently than the ones by our house or any of the other ones that I've been to.. I like it .. It is huge and I like the way it os laid out.. Furthermore, the guy Damien that help me in the electronics department was absolutely outstanding.. Walmart you need to give ho a raise in pay.. he is the reason for the rating ☆¿♡ Because he does a good job for Walmart is why I gave this Walmart an extra star... in final, rare for me I didn't take any pictures I needed a SD card for my camera in the car and just stopped in quick and left..

I noticed an interesting thing when stopped by Walmart for a couple of items. Every time I go in those darn employees are some of the most polite people to the me the customer. I walk down an isle looking for something and if there is an employee working the isle he or she will ask if I need help finding anything. When I check out at the self serve registers if the employee in that area is not busy he or she will say thank you and have a good day. Good employees! This is a nice change from some of the other useless and rude employees at many of the other local businesses. 5 stars for Walmart employees.

Lots of products and varieties to choose from. Depending on location in store such as electronics, paint, auto, there is a prompt advance to offer help as needed. Options to self check out if the many checkouts are full. However, I find the store limits their checkers to just a few, so you have to self check or go back to electronics to get out in a reasonable amount of time.

Rarely will you find soda's on sale here, you will always find them cheaper elsewhere, beef products constantly being recalled because comes from chinese owned packing plants in USA. most products come from China and although initial cost is lower require faster replacement so long-term cost about the same. This is not the same Walmart that Sam Walton built where the idea was to bring profits to all parties through good business practices, this is the new Walmart fueled by greedy spoiled children who have never had to "work" a day in their lives and who through greed sold out America to China

Always best to go before 9 AM if you don't want to deal with a lot of people running you over with shopping carts. Might have stockers still doing their work early though but it's great because if your short and they have the ladder they are more then happy to help you get something

We were able to easily get a bobtail in here to buy truck groceries. Nobody gave us any nonsense about "no trucks allowed". The store was clean, and the employees were helpful. Produce department was well-stocked and clean, meat department didn't smell peculiar, dairy was well-stocked, and employees didn't seem to be standing around gossiping, like in some other Walmarts. Thanks, Walmart of Cheyenne!

I frequently shop here and prefer to do so... let it be known that my poor score given reflects less on the shopping experience and more on the self-checkout. I don't mind it myself. But, don't make everyone feel like they're some creepy pickpocketing scum. They take away the usual 3 to 4 checkout clerks and make us do it now. They watch us like hawks and stop ya at the door like the Gestapo.

They seemed to have everything we needed. I was surprised to see that they have a lot of computer accessories, like 500 GB SSD SATA. The only thing that I would want more would be a m.2 SSD of some sort.

I like this store used to be able to get whatever you want. Since the virus, which I do understand, the shelves are mostly empty. Other stores shelves are full, but not this store. Can't get the necessary items we need.

Poor management. Product availability is poor. Choices have been cut 50% over the past year. All too often, popular grocery items are "out of stock", and the wait time for re-stock can be up to 10 days. Questions and/or comments regarding the discontinuation of popular products, go unanswered, or ignored completey. Customer satisfaction is not a priority. Employees are uninformed concerning what products the store carries, and which department to find an item. Very little effort is made to help a customer search for a product, customer is often redirected to another uninformed employee.

I don't like WalMart in general for ethical reasons but in terms of the store everyone is polite and it's always clean which is crazy by how busy it gets! The only thing is that there's these weird black out that happen consistently.

The only real complaint I has is that they never have enough registers open. But I think that's a problem at every Walmart, they still need to fix it though. Staff is usually friendly though so that's a plus and a ni e size parking lot.

One of the better ones, when it comes to consumer goods, as in, it beats others, but it still lacks in customer help. As you know, a Supercenter is the designator for deli and baked goods, of which this one is pretty good. I have been to this one many times, but never during the holidays. Most consumers like to be able to find stuff right away, and not have to search, because they moved it three isles over. I don't think that is the case with this one, but I could be wrong. One of the oddities about this place is that it's located, or rather they built a Sam's club next to it. As in, you could walk to it. Some Wal-Mart's are worse than others, you just have to let it go, because it's par for the course.

In 29 years Wal Mart has been perfect to us...you have the happiest and most helpful people. I always end up with a friendly chat while being checked out. Just one time, 1 1/2 years ago, a lady didn't say anything (like "Hi, how are you?) and she put 4 large bottles of water in one bag. I'm 71 so I asked if she could take one out. She glared at me and slammed it down on the counter. I had to go report her because it was beyond just having a bad day. The only time I've ever reported anyone. Thank you for being a great store!

My quick stop at Walmart turned out to take a little longer. There wasn't a sales associate available in the electronics section to help me with a Tracfone. We were able to get an employee from another section to assist us. Aruna took the time to answer our questions and to get a supervisor to assist us with a price question. Even though she was the only one in the section (outside of her own section) she was able to not only assist me but the numerous other customers that were waiting. She expedited the process of assisting others to ensure those that were waiting didn't have a long wait time. Aruna is a very professional and customer oriented employee.

Please remind your associates to wear their masks OVER their nose as well as over their mouth. It is NOT safe to have one's nose uncovered, and it is NOT safe to see some associates wearing their mask around their neck only. To provide that critical measure of safety from the spread of this deadly disease masks must be worn properly, yes? I shop at Wal-Mart frequently. I love the app and use it everytime I'm there. You can submit your receipts and they refund a lower price if they find one. Additionally , I always have the receipt with me should I need to return anything in the future. I really enjoy using the app and find it very helpful.

Latest location to be up and running in Cheyenne. The place is still trying to "figure things out", but is getting better. Often there are a lot of out-of-stock items due to bad order management or lazy stocking. Staff has a hard time finding items that you can't find. Prices sometimes higher than the other Wal-Mart location. Stay tuned to see if they improve!

Do they really think so many people in Cheyenne, WY are going to steal. Atlanta never had this, SLC never did either. Chicago had nice smiling faces and always wished me a good day. They are open 24 hours a day 6 days a week. The only day thay close early us Christmas Rve and are b.c kisses Christmas Day. They usually have friendly employees that will help you find an item you are looking for. The vision center inside the store has also helped ne with my glasses, with getting new lenses, frames, or an eye exam or just a free adjustment of my glasses. Their new area fir cluck and puck uo gas comfortable chairs ti sy in, even if you just need to sur diwn ad U di subce U have back problems. I also reall ut like that they have free wifi available, ad well as a McDonald's restraint just inside the mn ain entrance of the store, emwhichbakso has free wifi.
