Name brand clothes for less. You do have to be careful because some of the merchandise is factory seconds. They do have other merchandise as well, such as home goods, snacks, sodas, some electronics.

Gabes is great however had a little issue with their layaway. They had none of my information correctly in the computer as well took a bit of time to even find my things. The women were really helpful tho and didn't give up so Over all great customer service

This place has the potential to be a great store, but the employees are terrible! Shelves are all a mess, products thrown everywhere, and numerous employees standing around talking? I tried to ask a lady where I could find sandals, the attitude I got from her was terrible! Better do something about these people before they ruin your business Gabe's! Gabe's was awesome,great deals on lot's of items but you gotta watch some things are higher than at other stores..overall great value for your dollar..lines were pretty long and they had 2 registers not open but other than that it was clean and neat,,staff was helpful and friendly great job employees at KC,WV Gabe's. It takes so long to check out I would shop there so much more if it didn't take forever to get out of the store it's just the line is always forever and ever and I guess that's a good thing cuz it means you have a lot of customers and all the registers are full but it's just it just really takes a long time there's not a lot of assistance when you're out on the floor shopping

Place is getting a little more organized and definitely cleaner than it has been in years. The employees are helpful and courteous. Check out needs improvement for time in line to out the door and on you're way. I've experienced check out times over 25 minutes before, even if I only had a shirt for my purchase. There should be an express lane open for 10 items or less. Clothing voucher season is almost here. I more than likely will not shop there until closer to Christmas time.

Finally got my size!! Everytime I like something real well there is never my size. The store is great, and for the most part I get a lot of good stuff for big savings, just shoes size 13 are hard to find in any store. I give them 5***** Keep up the good work!!

One of the busier Gabe's locations, it has a lot of clothing merchandise in stock. It is more geared towards casual and street clothing, however, with fewer professional and formal apparel (though it has gotten better). They have majorly expanded their housewares section but unlike other Gabes locations, they are the low-quality brands. (The Huntington Gabes has a better selection for this).

Only shop here if you're on the smaller size. Barely any XL or larger sized clothes. It's WV so that's not many people. Staff were friendly and the store wasn't completely disorganized. I bought a computer mouse for cheap. It was wired but hasn't failed me yet.

I absolutely love this store! You get some really nice things for a really good mark down price. I just got a purse that was $108 for $35 absolutely love it. There are a lot of things throughout the store that are damaged and missing pieces that don't seem to get thrown away though so it's a little messy.

They ALWAYS leave tags on my clothing I have ruined many outfits because of this issue. The tags don’t even go off once you are leaving the store. But I do like the store and the staff very much they just need to pay more attention to this stuff.

Gabe's is a great place to shop for name brand clothing at less than half the price that you would pay from the original Outlet. I found a lot of good deals there on clothing and decor. A lot of the decor found there cannot be found in a lot of the outlets in the Charleston area. Recently, they rearranged the store. To me it is much more efficient.

Great open floor plan, and a wonderful treasure hunt! Fun and exciting employees, and clean bathrooms! Honestly, what more can a shopper ask for! A lot of wares and there's for your cares, everywhere! (that's cute, lol!) What I'm trying to say is, if you can't seem to find it in a department store, even financially within your means, and you can't seem to supply all your needs for personal uniqueness. Seriously, try this place out! I've yet to be disappointed!

A shop i go to twice monthly for over 7 years. The sale staff and cashiers are always friendly plus helpful when needed. I can get name brand clothes, personal, household, snacks and pet items at Gabriels paying usually 50% less than i would at other stores. Im so glad we have such a department store in Charleston Wv that offers such bargains.

If you have a bad experience in Gabes ever, you must be a person who misery follows because they are flipping awesome! Shopping there is okie dokie, except I would have rated a little higher, but for the mens section being always out of order. Especially the clothing racks designated by size such as 38, 40, etc ...... always, I mean always one has to sort thru the 52, 54, 34 in the same section. Maybe they need employees that care to place items in the correct size location. I found my 38 size in the section marked 44.

It good prices but little over high prices for selling good clothes & shoes, little bit snacks, little bit stuff as house stuff and books or anything. Gabe's almost alike dollars general, family dollars, Marshall, goodwill, or kmart. Most Gabe's has very good clothes for kids than Adult. Adult's has good purse. Travel Suitcase. Check it out!!!

clothes for everyone all ages there's also shoes but be careful because there's not two of each shoe this is more of a overstock price or they get things that has a thread out of place or a marking through the tag but there is name brands. I scored Nike airax that no one else has for 22$. Retail-139.99. Alot of parking. Also club benefits.

We shop Gabe's in Kanawha City most often. Personally, the selection of clothing items has gone down while prices have gone up. My main pet peeve is the shoe dept. Seems they have a soft spot for those that dance with a pole or remove clothing as a form of entertainment. Used to be able to purchase nice leather sandals, White Mountain shoes, occasionally Bass etc....now the shoes are cheap plastic, gawdy florals or 9" heels covered in glitter. Don't get me wrong I love sparkle as much as the nect chick but...look at the women walking through the doors. Majority are not a size 2 with the ability to balance on stilts. When the stores were sold awhile back I believe alit of the "magic" left with the former buyers or owners. I do not care if you have shiny blue signage and I do not personally like being herded like beef to slaughter. I want a bargain, I want selection and you are not providing the choices nor prices which we grew accustom to. I will say the employees are great. Friendly, helpful but they can not fix what is wrong.
